"So yeah then I just snipped it off" Mary said while motioning her fingers like they where scissors
"Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!" The businessman said while all the rest of the businessmen continue to cheer on the presentation
Mary was in the middle of a presentation on her business trip in California, hoping to buy her barbershop and maybe even start a franchise. When suddenly, Mary's phone went off
Mama's Gonna Kick Yo Butt
Mama's Gonna Kick Yo Bu-
*Beep*
"Sorry, can I take this?" Mary said while blushing, she swore she changed her ringtone before leaving
"Sure, we've been talking for a while now anyways, I say we all need a break. Go ahead." The charismatic businessman said
"Okay thank you" Mary said as she walked over to the nearest restroom
*Umm Hi, Is this Mrs. Wendle* Said the jazzy-voiced man on the phone
"Yes it is, who is this?" Mary replied
*This is the principal of Aberdale Elementary*
A million thoughts have already rushed through her head when she heard this, she thought to herself
Ugh what has clarence done this time
She hasn't really thought about them in a week, she's been so prioritized with her presenting.
"Ok so why are you calling me" Mary said, trying to maintain her composure
*Mmm yes, we're calling because we had to call the police on your husband earlier today, he is now trespassed from the school and his being held in Aberdale jail for the night*
"Oh really, well lemme just ask you, WHAT THE H-
"You guys hear something?" Clarence said from the backseat of the jeep
"I can't hear anything due to the fact that Bucky's windows are stuck right at the top of the window" Jeff remarked
"Hey guys, at least we have a jeep, imagine walking through all this desert" Bucky rebutted
"We don't have to imagine, that was us just a couple of day ago" Sumo replied
"Whatever, we should be home in not time, how about let's play some road game to past the time" Bucky said
The group groaned but agreed to play along, hoping it would make the long drive home a bit more bearable.
"Alright, I'll start," said Chelsea. "I spy with my little eye, something that is yellow."
"The sun?" guessed Clarence.
"Nope, try again," said Chelsea.
"The lines on the road?" suggested Jeff.
"Nope, guess again," said Chelsea.
After a few more incorrect guesses, Sumo finally got it right. "The yellow flowers on the side of the road!"
"Good job, Sumo," said Chelsea with a smile. "Your turn."
Sumo thought for a moment before saying, "I spy with my little eye, something that is blue."
"The sky?" guessed Bucky.
"Nope, try again," said Sumo.
"The ocean?" suggested Jeff.
"We're in the middle of the desert, Jeff," pointed out Chelsea.
"Oh, right," said Jeff, embarrassed.
After a few more incorrect guesses, Clarence finally got it right. "The blue cooler in the backseat!"
"Nice one, Clarence," said Sumo. "Your turn."
"I spy with my little eye something...green!"
"Is it the cactus on the side of the road?" asked Chelsea.
"Nope, not the cactus," replied Sumo.
Jeff looked around and spotted a green road sign. "Is it the sign up ahead?" she asked.
"Nope, not the sign either," said Sumo.
Suddenly, Bucky interrupted. "Hey, guys, check out that car in the rearview mirror."
The rest of the group turned to see a police car with its lights flashing, speeding towards them.
"Oh no, it's the cops!" exclaimed Chelsea.
The group's heart raced as they realized they might be in trouble. Bucky tried to speed up to outrun the police car, but it was no use. The police car caught up to them in no time.
"Pull over to the side of the road!" a loudspeaker blared from the police car.
Bucky reluctantly pulled over and the group sat in silence as they waited for the police officer to approach.
"License and registration, please," said the officer, a stern look on his face.
Bucky handed over the documents, his hands shaking slightly. The officer looked them over carefully, then returned them to Bucky.
"Do you have any idea how fast you were going?" the officer asked.
Bucky gulped. "Um, no, sir."
"You were going 20 miles over the speed limit," the officer said sternly. "That's reckless driving."
The group sat silently, unsure of what to say.
The officer then took a closer look at the group in the car. "Wait a minute, you kids Awfully look familiar," He said as sweat beaded down Bucky's head
"And wait! isn't this the car that was reported stolen from the mechanic!?" the officer asked, pointing at the jeep.
Bucky's eyes widened in shock. "Um-" .
"HANDS ON THE WHEEL" The officer yelled reaching for his pocket
Suddenly, Bucky slammed on the gas and peeled out, speeding away from the police car.
"What are you doing?!" shouted Chelsea, terrified.
"We can't get caught, we have to keep moving!" Bucky yelled back.
The Cop quickly let off 4 shots, hitting one of the tires of the jeep
The group held on tight as the jeep bounced and swerved over the rough desert terrain. They could hear the police car's siren blaring in the distance, getting closer and closer.
"We have to find a place to hide!" Sumo yelled over the noise.
Just then, they spotted an abandoned mine shaft up ahead. Bucky swerved towards it and the jeep jolted to a stop just inside the entrance.
"Everyone out, we have to hide in there!" Bucky ordered, pointing towards the dark tunnel.
The group scrambled out of the jeep and ran into the mine, their hearts pounding with fear. They could hear the police car pulling up outside and the sound of footsteps approaching.
"We're trapped!" whispered Clarence, his voice shaking.
But just then, they spotted a narrow tunnel leading deeper into the mine. Without hesitation, they crawled through it, hoping it would lead them to safety.
The group crawled through the narrow tunnel, the darkness enveloping them. They could hear the sound of the police car and the footsteps of the officer getting closer and closer.
"We have to hurry," whispered Chelsea, her voice trembling.
The tunnel seemed to go on forever, twisting and turning until they finally saw a faint light up ahead. They crawled towards it and emerged into a large underground cavern.
"Wow, this place is huge," said Jeff, looking around in awe.
The cavern was filled with stalactites and stalagmites, creating an otherworldly landscape. The group huddled together, trying to catch their breath and figure out what to do next.
"We can't stay here," said Bucky, his voice determined. "We have to find a way out of here and get as far away from that cop as possible."
They searched the cavern, looking for any way out. After a few minutes, they spotted a narrow opening in the wall. It was just big enough for them to squeeze through.
"Let's go," said Sumo, crawling towards the opening.
One by one, they crawled through the opening and emerged on the other side. They found themselves in another tunnel, this one wider than the last.
"We have to keep moving," said Clarence, his voice determined.
They crawled through the tunnel, their hearts racing with fear. They could hear the sound of the police car and the footsteps of the officer echoing through the tunnel behind them.
Finally, they emerged into daylight. They were outside the mine, but they could still hear the sound of the police car in the distance.
"We have to keep running," said Chelsea, taking off in the direction of the nearest town.
The rest of the group followed, their legs pumping as they sprinted through the desert. They could hear the sound of the police car getting closer and closer, but they didn't stop until they reached the outskirts of a town.
"We made it," panted Bucky, collapsing onto the ground.
"Where are we" Clarence said, equally tuckered out
