-old on a second," Mary interrupted herself, taking a deep breath to calm down. "I'm sorry, can you please explain to me what happened?"

"Yes, of course. Your husband was seen trespassing on school property and when approached by the staff, he became belligerent and aggressive. The police were called and he was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and trespassing."

Mary sighed heavily, feeling frustrated and embarrassed. "Thank you for letting me know. I will take care of it from here."

"Of course, please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you or your family," the principal said before ending the call.

Mary stood in the restroom for a few moments, trying to process what had just happened. She felt disappointed in her husband and worried about what she would need to do to handle the situation. After taking a few deep breaths, she walked back to the meeting room and rejoined her colleagues, ready to continue her presentation.

"1 Week just one and he's already gotten in trouble, not only that arrested!"

Mary muttered under her breath as she continued to clean up the shop. She couldn't believe that Chad had already managed to get himself arrested within a week of her leaving for her business trip.

She wondered what had happened and why he had gone to the school in the first place. She knew that he had a bit of a temper and could be impulsive at times, but she never expected him to do something like this.

Mary sighed and shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. She knew that she needed to focus on the present and figure out what she was going to do about her barbershop. She had worked hard to build it up and didn't want to lose it now.

Mary decided to call her lawyer to see if there was anything she could do to expedite the process of buying the barbershop. She knew that time was of the essence, especially if she wanted to start a franchise. After a few phone calls and some paperwork, Mary was able to secure the funds and finalize the purchase of her barbershop. She couldn't believe that it had finally happened and that she was now a business owner. With a smile on her face, Mary closed up shop for the night and headed home. She knew that she had a lot of work ahead of her, but she was ready for the challenge. She was determined to make her barbershop a success and to provide for her family.

As she lay in bed that night, Mary couldn't help but think about Chad and the situation at the school, and not only that; she was she worried about Clarence too, she hadn't received a single phone call since he had called him at a stop from his field trip, and with Chad being in the jail for whos knows how long, she was worried about who was watching her son. She knew that she would have to deal with that in the morning, but for now, she was going to focus on her dream and making it a reality.

"So uhh Big guy, how'd you get in here?" Asked the menacing prisoner

"Umm, I got caught up in some legal trouble. It's a long story," Chad replied, feeling intimidated by his cellmate's appearance.

"Ain't we all got a long story, pretty boy?" the prisoner sneered, eyeing Chad up and down. "What're you in for, anyways?"

Chad hesitated, not wanting to reveal the details of his arrest to a stranger. "Just some stupid mistake," he muttered.

"Ha, ain't they all. You know what they say, ignorance of the law is no excuse," the prisoner said with a laugh. "But don't worry, kid. You'll get used to it here. Just gotta keep your head down and watch your back."

Chad nodded nervously, not sure what else to say. He wondered how long he would have to spend in jail and how Mary and Clarence were doing without him. He felt guilty for letting them down and wished he could turn back time and make better choices.

As he sat on the hard, uncomfortable bed, Chad tried to keep himself busy by thinking about what he would do once he got out. Maybe he could go back to school or find a better job than sign spinning. He knew he had to make a change if he wanted to be a good role model for Clarence and prove himself to Mary's family.

But for now, all he could do was wait and hope for the best…

"Eugh, Eugh, Eugh!" The prisoner muttered

"What are you doing" Said Chad rolling over

"What does it look like?, I'm busting outta here" The prisoner said, " Spork in hand, Next to a gouge in the wall.

"Oh please, you're never gonna get through that wall with that plastic spork" Chad said skeptically, eyeing the shoddy utensil.

The prisoner just chuckled and said, "You'd be surprised." And with that, he began to attack the wall with his spork, scraping away at the concrete. To Chad's amazement, the spork actually seemed to be working, and within minutes, the prisoner had made a sizable hole in the wall.

Chad stared in disbelief as the prisoner crawled through the hole and gestured for Chad to follow. "Come on, we don't have all day," he said impatiently.

Chad hesitated for a moment, but the thought of spending another minute in jail was too much to bear. He took a deep breath and crawled through the hole after the prisoner.

As they made their way through the dark and dingy tunnel, Chad couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. He had never been in this situation before and had no idea where they were going or what they would do once they got there.

But despite his apprehension, Chad couldn't deny the thrill of the escape. It was like something out of a movie, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as they crept through the darkness.

Finally, after what felt like hours, they emerged from the tunnel and into the bright moonlight. Chad shielded his eyes against the glare and looked around in confusion.

They were in a small courtyard surrounded by high walls, and there was a gate on the far side. The prisoner beckoned for Chad to follow him and they began to jog towards the gate.

As they approached, Chad saw a guard standing in front of it, looking bored. The prisoner motioned for Chad to stay back, and then rushed the guard, spork in hand.

Chad watched in horror as the prisoner plunged the spork into the guard's neck, and the man crumpled to the ground. The prisoner gestured for Chad to come forward, and they ran through the gate and into the street.

Chad stumbled along behind the prisoner, his mind reeling. He had just escaped from jail and witnessed a murder. He had no idea what to do next, but he knew one thing for sure - his life would never be the same again.

"DUDE DID YOU JUST KILL HIM!" CHAD SAID

"Umm no dum dum," he said putting his finger against the guard's neck "He's merely just knocked out from the shock, he'll be fine, plastic sporks can only do so much to a human let alone a concrete wall." The prisoner said with confidence

"Hmmph, go figure i guess" Chad said in compliance, after all he was convinced he just witnessed a murder.

"C'mon Gorilla man, help me scale this fence" The prisoner requested

Chad looked up at the high fence and felt a knot form in his stomach. He wasn't sure if he was ready for more danger and risk, but he also knew he had no other choice if he wanted to escape.

He nodded to the prisoner and together they began to climb the fence. The metal bars were sharp and painful against their hands, but they pushed through the pain and eventually made it to the top.

Chad looked down at the other side and saw a long drop to the ground. He hesitated, unsure if he was ready to take the leap.

The prisoner, sensing Chad's fear, gave him a reassuring nod. "Don't worry, kid. I got your back."

With those words, Chad took a deep breath and jumped off the fence, landing hard on the ground below. He winced in pain, but quickly got up and looked around.

They were in an abandoned alleyway, surrounded by tall buildings and empty storefronts. Chad had no idea where they were or how they would get out of this mess, but he knew one thing for sure - he had to keep moving.

He turned to the prisoner and said, "Okay, now what?"

The prisoner just grinned and said, "Now we run." And with that, they took off down the alley, their feet pounding against the pavement as they made their escape.
