Then, with the hint of a smile and while still meeting Odin's angry gaze, the man slowly closed his hand around the shimmering tiara. There was a crunching sound, a bright light flashing through his fingers and a shining mist, barely resembling a grotesque face with a widely opened jaw, explosively extended upwards out of the man's grip and then faded slowly into nothingness while a hollow groan sounded in the air. The mysterious male looked with flashing eyes towards Odin: "That's it! Surtur is history. There will be no Ragnarok. Asgard will exist forever. So will your daughter." "You fool! You stupid fool!" Odin seemed to be frantic, trembling with his whole body, pointing accusingly at the person who just had completely annihilated his final master plan. Or... Odin had to keep up the appearance of complete despair...had the fool rather inevitably paved it? Hela turned away from the man and towards her father, her face as hard as granite. "You should know that Odin actually wants you to kill him!" said the man behind her back in a lighthearted tone. "He might rationalize it in some way, that it is all about you, that you are a terrible danger and that him playing the holy sacrificial lamb that is slaughtered by you would somehow guarantee your demise and be a noble and selfless act. But I believe that the real reason he seeks death is pure egoism, he just can't bear his miserable existence anymore. He has swallowed so much guilt that he can't suppress the pain and misery of it any longer. If you would kill him now, you actually would give him what he wants and you would rather be his savior than his executioner." Hela glanced at the man over her shoulder, her facial expression unreadable, then again slowly turned back to her father...and without further due in a flash second and in one elegant move materialized a sword and rammed it into her father's chest. The man suddenly felt ice inside his stomach. This had not gone well. He had been so sure that he could prevent Odin's intentions from happening, that he could get his sons and his daughter to actually talk with each other, his sons then would have developed compassion for their mistreated sister, and step by step everything could have been channeled to develop further into a desirable direction...but now, things had become a total mess and would just further descend into chaos.

"Father!" The tall and brunette young man, who was Odin's adoptive son Loki yelled out in anguish, Thor, with a furious war cry resembling a thunderclap that made the earth tremble, catapulted his mighty war hammer towards his sister. Elemental powers released by beings, who just outwardly resembled mortal men, but who were truly incarnated archetypical forces of nature, which since eons were dancing gracefully between the cosmic poles of creation and destruction, light and dark, good and evil, life and death, without ever truly touching those poles, existences beyond human morals or comprehension. Thor seemed to grow into a raging blizzard and his accelerated hammer blurred into a sizzling lightning bolt. In awe, the man held his breath. So this monumental and cataclysmic thunderstorm he just witnessed with wide eyes, ravaging wind, rain, lightning and thunder rushing around him, almost blowing him away, this primordial tempest, was Thor's true form, or at least as close to his true form as his limited human mind could apprehend and perceive it.

What would Hela's true form be like? His heartbeat increased at that thought. There was nothing in existence that he desired more and longed more for than to experience Hela's true primordial form. He wanted to unleash her fully, in her absolute power, at her highest level and to the maximum degree. This was one reason why he was here, why he had to make sure that she got to Asgard, that Asgard would never be destroyed, so she could feed off Asgard's elemental life force, nourish herself...until she would grow to ultimate power, until she would glow in infinite glory!

His train of thought was interrupted when Hela effortlessly caught Thor's war hammer with her hand. Her arm held extended straight forward, she encompassed the head of the weapon with her powerful fist. The tool of rage vibrated and hummed, trying to drive further forward in its flight of destruction, but obviously completely overpowered, stuck in mid-air. "Impossible!" Thor was visibly stunned. He reached out to his metal thunderbolt, commanding it to push forward harder and harder. Hela's mouth slowly extended into a smile, and then, while looking her brother deep into the eyes, she crushed Thor's hammer with one forceful contraction of her fingers.

The storm was past. Thor, in total shock, castrated by his sister, his face a petrified mask of pain and despair, sank down to his knees in impotence and stared with disbelief towards the woman who just had bested him. Hela was now surrounded by a glowing mist, her face with a strange expression, eyes rolled upwards, mouth slightly open. Her arms were extended to the left and to the right as if she was hanging on a cross. An orgasmic moaning escaped her moist lips. While her body began to shake more and more intensely from seemingly harder and harder convulsions, the billowing luminous fog appeared to get sucked to, moved towards and finally disappeared into her body. The man stared with ecstatic fascination at the spectacle. Thor's hammer stemmed from Asgard. Now destroyed, Asgard's life essence concentrated in it had been freed and Hela's body naturally absorbed it. The heartbeat of the man further accelerated. Hela's outline seemed to blur a little, her hair seemed to take on a life of its own and began to erect itself.

"Bring us back," Loki called out while looking upward towards heaven. He was standing directly besides his still kneeling brother and had recognized the opportunity to escape, now that Hela was distracted. A huge pillar of light rushed down from heaven and enveloped both sons of Odin, a moment later the bright phenomenon had disappeared again and with it, the two young men. This incident ripped Hela out of her trance, the magical moment was over. With a furious face, she sprinted to the place where her brothers had stood until seconds ago, but it was too late.

The brief moment of opportunity to hijack the asgardian rainbow bridge to get transported to her homeland was gone.
