#67: Let's start the plot
Metropolis High, Friday...
At my locker, I've been taking stuff out, while whistling a tune.
I've been moving my gadgets and stuff to somewhere else all day. I can't keep stuff in my basement. Why? If someone asked you why they couldn't go in your basement, what would you say?
Come to think of it, why would they ask to go in there in the first place?
Whatever.
I just got my last box- Whoops, dropped something. It rolled across the floor and bumped into someone's foot. They picked it up. The person who picked it up was one of my classmates: Selina Kyle. We have the same history class.
My hands were full so I asked, "Hey, Selina. Could you get that for me?" "What is this?" she said putting it in the box. "It's one of my untested inventions: The Mind Collar." She seemed interested. "And what does it do?" "If you put it around someone's neck, their personality will change, and they'll act like whoever put the collar on them. Depending on who the person is, the collar's look will change."
I started walking and she followed me.
"Does it really work?" "It should. It's untested, and I can't mess with someone's brain like that." "How many of these do you have?" "About thirteen. They're all in here. It wasn't that hard to make so I made more than one. There's still an issue that I can't get right. It's se- Selina?" Where'd she go? I was gonna say that these things are sensitive to water. If at least one drop of water or any liquid with water in it touches these things, it'll shock the wearer and won't work anymore.
Eh, what does it matter? I gotta get moving.
Later that day, outside of school...
I placed the box down as I waited for Aarondroid to come and help me out.
I took a glace away from my box, and when I turned back, I saw that it was opened a bit. Didn't I close this box?
Oh, Aarondroid made it. I'm sure it's nothing.
#68: A Crazy Problem with a Crazy Solution.
Later at night...
The girls and Techno are out on patrol.
It's actually a slow night, so Tech's going on about one of his acts in MegaCity. They're on that building over there.
"Okay, so I held my chest saying, 'Ah! Call an ambulance! Call an ambulance!'. Then I pulled back my hood, they recognized my visor, they got scared as I said, 'But not for me!' And the whole bank was full of screams of pain!" They all laughed. "Their hospital bill was high."
Techno got a tingle and looked a distance to the left.
"Back in a zap." He blast jumped away. The girls were just left to talk to each other. It was mostly about Techno and MegaCity.
What they didn't notice is the weird plants extending close to them flowers bloomed from them and pollen produced from the plants proceeding to make the girls pass out.
A little alteration never hurt right?
At that moment the Super Villain Girls appeared on the building.
"This plan better work Selina." Livewire said. "I'm sure it will." Catwoman replied.
Let me break it down. When Aaron told Selina about the collars, she got an idea: The plan was to give each villain a collar and put it on one of the heroes. Their personality will change, and they'll be on the crime side and will have an advantage over Techno, one to twelve. After that, there'd be a competition: Whichever pair of 'doubles' could beat Techno first, could take control of them, and get him to act like them. If they couldn't beat Techno, they could at least try to get them on their side.
To be fair, the difference between 'try' and 'triumph' is a little 'umph'. So, let's hope they have enough of it to succeed.
Six minutes later...
"Hey girls I'm back." Tech said, landing on the building. No one was here, though. "Girls?" Tech jumped off the building and walked down the street. He tried calling them on his visor but no one replied. "Did they call it a night and not tell me?" he said to himself.
Suddenly, he caught an incoming Batarang that was about to hit his face. It read 'Surprise!'. The text then started to flash red and beeping was heard. He threw it high in the air and it exploded.
"That better be a sick joke, Batgirl!" "C'mon, Techno!"
Tech turned around to see a figure under a lamppost. "You know I'm all about jokes!" Hard to believe, but the figure turned out to be- "Batgirl?"
Yeah, she looks completely different.
The legs of her suit were ripped to look like shorts, the top's ripped open like a jacket, but underneath's a T-shirt that reads 'Daddy's Lil Monster', her cowls cut but only enough that it's just a mask, her hair's now red and blue dyed pigtails, her gloves are now fingerless, she's got white shoes on, and around her neck was something familiar. It was one of Aaron's Mind Collars, but this one's colored gold.
She almost looks like Quinn in Suicide Squad.
"Whoa! What happened to you? Wait," He noticed the collar. "Is that-?"
He dodged two purple blasts of magic from behind. He turned to see Zatanna, but not how she would normally go out looking.
She's got on a dark blue thorn T-shirt, blue ripped jeans, black leather jacket, heavy boots, spiky bracelets, her hair's still glowing, but it's dyed black and half shaved. On her face is black lipstick, black eyeshadow, mascara, and lighting bolt mark on her cheeks. She also has a collar on, but this one's has spikes on it, like a choker.
Definitely not something Zee would go out wearing in public.
"Looks like there's magic in the air!" She said, shooting another beam at Techno. He blast jumped over it and was unexpectedly caught by a large vine. Only, it's not really a vine, it's a Lantern construct. Looking to where it came from, he saw Green Lantern. At least he thought it was her.
Lantern's now wearing a green shoulder split leaf dress, akin to Poison Ivy's, her hair's full of blooming roses, there's flower bracelets on her wrists and no footwear. She also had a collar on, but this one looks like it's made of vines.
Before Techno could make a pun about this, he was getting choke slammed through the construct and back to the ground. Luckily, he went intangible before he hit the ground. He phased to the surface to see it was Bumblebee who did it.
Her suit's gone and all that's left is some of her helmet. Instead of the suit itself, there's a tiger print ripped one piece. The hair that's showing from the partial helmet's a mess, luckily her highlight, the dead giveaway of her secret identity, wasn't showing in any way. Her collar looked like it was made of pebbles.
"Okay Bumbles, you know that I know you don't fight the way I do." He said, dusting himself off. "I'll fight however I want!" she yelled.
Okay, this turned personal. Karen never yelled at Aaron before.
"Yeah, you need to call down." He was about to throw an Ultra Disc, but it was snatched out of his hand. "What the-?" He turned around and say Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman's attire consists of a black V-neck long fancy dress, golden open heels, black finger-less evening gloves, golden cuff arm bracelets, diamond earrings, her hair's made into a styled updo, she's got red manicured nails, red lipstick, dark blue eyeshadow, mascara, cat like eyeliner, and a shoulder purse. And hey, is that perfume I smell? The collar around her neck just plain black.
"Supergirl can't be any worse than you five." Tech said, looking at the girls one by one.
He was suddenly carried by the back of his suit and going upwards. Expectedly, it was indeed Supergirl.
She's got on pink long sleeve crop top, white skirt with a belt, white heeled boots, golden bracelets, heart shaped earrings, hair styled wavy with extensions, pink manicured nails, pink lipstick, light blue eyeshadow, mascara, she also has perfume and a shoulder purse. Her collar's gold with an jeweled 'S' on it.
"What do you know? I'm right." He said, before going intangible and falling to the ground and landing flawlessly.
He rolled his eyes and called out, "Villain Girls! I know you did this! Come on out!" They did as said. Harley showed up next to Batgirl, Livewire next to Zatanna, Giganta over Bumblebee[God, the irony], Ivy next to Lantern, Sapphire next to Supergirl, and Catwoman next to Wonder Woman.
Tech rolled his eyes. "Let's get to the point. What's your soon-to-fail plan this time?" Catwoman answered him, "If you must know Smart Spark, I just 'found' these impressive little trinkets and thought they were too good not to be shared. Here's something interesting, more than enough for you to have one." She snapped her fingers and each of his allies-turned-temporary enemies pulled out a collar.
"Sorry Kitty, but the only thing I've ever worn around my neck is a necklace, and I intend to keep it that way."
Before anyone could do anything, Techno flashed a strong light from his body, blinding all the girls. When the light went away, they all saw that Techno was gone.
"You said this plan would work!" Ivy said, the rest of the villainesses agreeing. "Don't worry girls, we know he doesn't back down from a fight. He'll be back. For now, let's enjoy what we have going on right now."
They all smiled.
Later at Techno's new secret base...
"Well, now I know where my collars went." Tech said as he did some work on the twelve screen computer, the dodeca-screen. "I bet the girls are upset with themselves right now."
One detail Aaron didn't mention: You're still aware of what you're doing when the collar's placed on you. Even if you can't control what you're doing, you can still see, feel, hear, and know what you're doing.
Could you imagine that? You have no control of your body, and you're just watching it doing something you wouldn't normally do.
That's torture right there.
"TECHNO, I HAVE LOCATED ALL OF THE GIRLS."
"What are they doing?"
M.A.D.I.S.O.N. showed a 3D map of Metropolis. For each pair of girls she pointed out, a waypoint was shown on it. M.A.D.I.S.O.N. started uptown.
"HARLEY QUINN AND BATGIRL ARE FOUND UPTOWN. EVERYWHERE THEY'VE BEEN, SOMETHING'S ETHER BEEN DETONATED OR VANDELIZED." "No surprise there."
The map moved to Central Park.
"POISON IVY AND GREEN LANTERN WERE SPOTTED IN CENTRAL PARK. IT'S BECOME THEIR TERRITORY. EVERYONE IN THAT PARK'S NOW GONE MISSING." "Let's hope that doesn't mean 'dead'.
The map moved to a mansion on the far east of town.
"CATWOMAN AND WONDER WOMAN WERE FOUND AT A MR. KALVIN'S MANSION. HE'S HOSTING A HOUSE PARTY, AND NO ONE NOTICED THEM GO IN YET." "Probably to steal a thing or two."
The map moved to the docks.
"BUMBLEBEE AND GIGANTA WERE FOUND WRECKING A SHIPPING YARD IN THE SOUTHEAST. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THOSE TWO WOULD BE IN THE SAME PLACE." "Same here."
The map moved to a building in the west.
"PEOPLE HAVE SPOTTED SUPERGIRL AND STAR SAPPHIRE IN CLUB NEON. NOT EXACTLY WHY, THOUGH." "Hey, I've heard of that place. Hal told me about it. He goes there from time to time. Anything on Livewire and Zatanna?"
The map moved to downtown.
"I'VE LOCATE THEM AT A ROCK CONCERT IN DOWNTOWN. NOW THAT WE KNOW THEIR LOCATIONS, WE HAVE TO PUT A STOP TO THEM."
"Let's see, I need them to get grouped together if I want a chance of beating them. I could take out the collars, it could get them to get to the other's. Only problem is, even though they don't act like it, they still have their old skills. They'll do anything to keep them intact. So I need a way to get their attention, and get an advantage over them. That way, I get the collar's wet and they use up the only other collar they have on them. When they do, they'll go to the others and try to protect the remaining one, whoever has it."
He turned around to see Aarondroid placing a box down next to his magic mirror. The box fell down and out of it came his super scanner.
That gave him an idea, a crazy one.
He went to the mirror and said to it, "Six mes, please." The mirror transitioned into six and six Technos walked out of them. They nodded at the original, because they knew the plan. They're all the same person after all.
They all scattered to put something on. One put on a pair of fake ears and a cape, one a cape and a line on his power button symbol so it looks like a 'T', one a pair of wings and antenna, one attached a shield, sword, and scabbard to his back, one put on a vest and put a plastic black stick in it's pocket, and one put lines on the top and bottom of his power button symbol then put on a green plastic ring.
The original Techno picked up the super scanner and said to M.A.D.I.S.O.N., "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., get the six new Techno-downloads I made on standby." "PREPARING TECHNO-SCANS."
"Everyone get in a line." The copies did just that.
"THE DOWNLOADS ARE READY, TECHNO." "Perfect, now remember: Whenever one of the Techs say so, give it to them." "GOT IT."
"Now, everyone smile!" He aimed the scanner at the Technos.
*Zap!*
Two minutes later uptown...
Tonight's forecast calls for bombs, pies, and water balloons.
Both Batgirl and Harley Quinn were riding around on Batgirl's scooter, throwing stuff around as if they had no cares. The scooter itself got a red and blue paint job. "Haha! See? I told ya this was fun!" "You could say that again!"
As they laughed, they didn't notice the shuriken like thing heading for the front wheel. It made the whole scooter flip forward! When both girls landed, they said, "Hey! What gives!" They looked and saw the projectile get caught in someone's hand.
"What's the matter? Shocked to see me?"
They saw a figure crouching on a mailbox
The figure turned out to be one of the Technos, but the super scanner made him look a little different. How different? He looks like he's half Batman!
His visor's got points at the sides, he's got a long dark cape, the symbol on his chest's in the middle of a Bat-logo, there's a few line patterns on him this time, and the projectile in his hand's a cross between an Ultra Disc and a Batarang.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Quinn said.
"I'm BatTech."
He zoomed at them and went at it.
#69: The Bat and the Clowns
Both girls pulled out something to hit me with: Babs a bat, ironically, and Harley a mallet.
I slid under both of their swings, and blasted them both with my feet when I got up.
You gotta admit, this is cool.
"Try to keep up!"
I threw down a smoke grenade, blinding them, and appeared on top of a building. I threw a bunch of Ultra-rangs, that's what I'm calling them, their way. I also I beamed them as I threw each one. I- Original Techno doesn't normal do that that much, so why not. When I- he- we do do that, they set off the second they touch something.
The Ultra-rangs rained down on them like atom bombs in the war. Its almost funny to see them run.
I glitched invisible and jumped off the building and glided forward with my cape. Shooting eyebeams at the two as they. It was confusing for them because they didn't know where I was.
"This isn't even fair! When did Tech get this suit?! He never mentioned this!" Batgirl said. "Let's just get out of here!" Quinn said, getting the scooter upright. They got on it and were about to drive off, but I got in the way.
"License and registration, please."
They screamed and put it in reverse and drove off, and put it back in drive and sped away. They're quick but I'm much faster. I grappled upwards with my gloves to boost myself and went back to gliding.
Quinn looked up and saw me and said, "You don't know when to quit, don't ya Tech?!" "If I did, would I be a hero?"
Well this seems like a good time as ever to use that download.
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now!" I said, making the girls flinch. "Download The Dark Knight's Redemption!"
My watch showed an amber Bat-logo as my green glitched to amber.
I blasted amber beams from my eyes and chest at the two as they swerved left and right to avoid me. The moment I was waiting for finally came. Harley tried throwing stuff at me, but missed with every throw. When she was about to throw a water balloon, I used my Techno Control and made the scooter jerk a bit. She ended up throwing the balloon in the air as I made the scooter crash and sent the two flying.
Harley landed in a dumpster and Batgirl a few feet in front of it, looking a little dazed.
I landed in front of Batgirl and the water balloon from earlier landed on her face, splashing her and the collar. She got electrocuted as it short-circuited. Her eyes shot open. "You okay?" "Am I okay?"
Wait for it...
"I'm astonished!"
There it is.
"That was incredible! The suit, that download, even those Ultra-rang thingies! I don't even know how you can top that!"
Wow, she's not even worried about her body being controlled.
"Oh, sorry for almost hitting you with a bat by the way. (whispered)Please don't hit me..."
"Bats, trust me. If someone does try to hit me with a bat, they don't get a chance to apologize. You get a pass because you weren't in control of your actions. The night's still young, just wait 'til you see what else I got planned."
"Oh, I can't wai-" She was cut off by Harley putting the spare collar around Babs' neck.
"You'll pay for what you did, Tech!" She said as she pulled her away as they ran.
"You're gonna love it!" I said to Batgirl, hoping she can hear me in there.
That's one down, five to go.
I wonder how the others are doing.
#70: Made to amaze
Downtown...
At the rock concert, Zatanna and Livewire were seen, well, rocking out.
They did a thing or two while they were there. The things involve knocking out one or two people and messing with the band a few times. They're about to do it again, look.
"Hey. Listen to this." Zatanna whispered something into Livewire's ear, then they went at it. They used their powers right when the guitarist was about to play a power chord. They made it so strong and loud that the speakers behind the band members blasted them off the stage!
People laughed at first, then they realized that there was no one playing for everyone ad it died down.
Spotlights shined on the stage, confusing everyone. Then a voice was heard.
"Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for your new performer for the night. Please welcome,"
The lights shined to the center of the stage and showed one of the Technos.
"MagiTech!"
This Techno's suit's got some parts of a magician's outfit, and to the side of his right eye, there's a lightning bolt decal. There's also a wand in the vest pocket. He won't use it, it's just for show.
"Hey!" Livewire and Zatanna yelled.
"Don't be alarmed folks. I'm not here to do tricks, but that doesn't mean I got a few up my sleeve. Emitwohs!" He spelled.
He made himself a clone who went to the keyboard and started playing.

MagiTech made more clones and each got to an instrument. The original gripped the mic and started singing.
(MagiTech) "This heart gives the smallest glow
I think that I can see it show

As the crowd started to get into it, Zatanna and Livewire nodded at each other and made their way to the stage. When they did, they got on and the three of them started fighting with MagiTech still singing.
"This world never knew my game
Hope I have a chance to stay
These arms, are worn, and never fading
The cold air is never waiting.
Had me going, my friend
I'm so blind, I can't stand
Left alone with your hand
I think that I can see your eyes.
And the past can show you
All the life we've been through

The trio was still fighting, Zatanna having the collar in her hand. They tried to get it around his neck, but there was no success. He blasted them off into the crowd as MagiTech started flying in the air. Zatanna grabbed Livewire as she flew them after him, making an airborne battle causing the crowd cheer.
"My eyes have a sparkle too
Hope that I can see this through
My thoughts, belong, and are ever changing
Remind me on what I'm losing!
These feelings in my head,
I push them off instead,
Of running one way
Just to come on back again.
Within this circle
Beyond my clouded mind
A new forgotten life
Can I hear that voice again?"
After blasting the two onto the stage, MagiTech landed on it after them. "How'd you even do this?" Zatanna asked, "You can't even do magic!" MagiTech replied, "I'm full of surprises." They fought again as the music started back up.
"There's blue in the fire,
There's red in your face,
My motives are laced with gold,
I'm moving, and moving!
There's colors in the skyline
That flow into space
The feeling of floating on my own
No one in this place.
I don't belong here!"
He dodged two blasts from the girls. "Mazakala!" He said making them float in the air. He flew after them and hit them with everything he had. A few hand blasts, two eyebeams, five Ultra Discs total, and one or two blasts of magic to be precise.
They looked terrible.
When the music calmed down, he said, raising his fist. "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now." The girls looked nervous. "Download Might of the Magician." An amber picture of a waved wand appeared on the watch and the green turned to amber. He let the girls drop back onto the stage and he went back down to fight them again.
"Had me going, my friend
I'm so blind, I can't stand
Left alone with your hand
I think that I can see your eyes."
He got them in front of the speakers from last time and he got an idea.
"And the past can show you
All the life we've been through
Lost and gone and frozen but I'm just..."
He used his powers and amplified the sound again.
"I'm always running!"
The blast shot them over the crowd and across the street. Livewire into a fire hydrant, making it dent, and Zatanna next to it.
End song!
The crowd erupted with cheers as the MagiTechs stopped playing.
Back to the girls, thanks to Livewire hitting it, the hydrant suddenly burst water out and on Zatanna. She got electrocuted as it short-circuited. Her eyes shot open. MagiTech appeared and counted down, "In three, two, one..." Zatanna rushed at him and gripped his shoulders. "What took you so long?! I couldn't stand another minute like this!" "Dude, chill." "'Chill'?! How can I chill when my body's going around doing whatever it feels like?! And look at this!" She gestured to her hair, "I will not let this slide! Oh, I am gonna-"
She was cut off by Livewire replacing the collars.
"Oh, you are so done, Tech." She blinded him by doing the same trick he did before. When the light went away, they were gone.
"Okay, sure Livewire, play the 'copycat' game."
That leave's four.
#71: Beware my power
On the way to Central Park...
This'll be easy.
Ivy and myself, well, Techno are on goodish terms. She won't try to hurt me too bad.
This'll be a walk in the park, so to speak.
Especially with these powers, I mean look at me! Well you can't, so just imagine what Techno would look like as a Green Lantern. But tonight, call me the Green LanTech!
I made to the park, if that's what I should call it right now.
The place looks overgrown, and there's a dome of vegetation surrounding the place. Using my Techno Vision, I'm seeing a lot of people in there, but they're all trapped in pods. In the center of it all, I see Ivy and Lantern and, oh my God, Jess is eating meat! Jess is eating meat!
I need to get in there, A.S.A.P.. But if I damage any of the plants, they'll know I'm here. I gotta work carefully and quietly.
I phased through the dome and, wow. It's literally a jungle in here. Flying around, I see a ton of people trapped in see-through pods. Welp, I got an oath.
I made LanTech versions of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum and told them, "Y'all know what to do." They nodded and went to help the people. I glitched invisible and intangible and flew my way to the middle.
There were a couple of traps and obstacles like pitcher plants spraying me with weird liquid, I made locks on them to keep them shut. There were also giant Venus flytraps but I kept them open by making big car jacks.
I know, I know, but there's nothing that dangerous yet. And if do anything that's too much, I'll be found.
I made it to the center of the park where the two were on thrones over the fountain, helping themselves to meats galore: ham, chicken, lamb, steak, and pepperoni. "I can't believe I chose being vegan over this!" Lantern said.
Okay, time to fix the problem. Let's do surprise attack.
I flew behind the thrones and made springs with my ring and put them under the thrones. In a second, the springs were set off and the two went flying straight up and both landed in the fountain. Ivy first then Lantern. She got electrocuted as it short-circuited then her eyes shot open. She gagged and held her mouth. I made her a trashcan with my ring and she threw up in it.
She's vegan and she ate meat not too long ago. I'm not surprised.
I moved it out of here and asked her, "Better?" "I don't think I'll ever be able to come back from this. *gags again* Ugh..." "I can zap your memory if you don't want this in your head again." "Oh please do."
Before we could say anything else, she was yanked out of the fountain by one of Ivy's vines. Another carried Ivy out of the fountain and another brought her the second Mind Collar which she put around Lantern's neck.
This went better than I thought. Too easy, but better than I thought.
Ivy snapped her fingers for some reason. Then again, and again.
"I don't get it. Is something meant to happen or...?"
Suddenly, my clones barged in. Gold said, "LanTech, you won't believe the pixelating we had to do." "What for?" "Those pods from earlier with the people inside, the pods were doing something to them, we had to fight them then pixelate their minds to get them back to normal." "Before we fought them they kept saying, 'Hail Ivy'." Silver said.
I turned to the eco-terrorist and said to her as the clones dissipated, "Mind control, Ivy? Seriously?"
She yelled in anger and said, "We're out of here. (To the plants) Deal with him." She and Lantern were lifted out of the dome, leaving m to fight off the plants. I told M.A.D.I.S.O.N. to send me a download as I raised my fist then said, "Download The Might of the Lantern Corps!" An amber version of the Green Lantern symbol appeared on my watch as the green glitched to amber, even the ring.
This is gonna take me a while.
#72: Not the best team
Southeast shipping yard...
"Stupid...thing!"
Bumblebee kicked a crate out of anger. Giganta, who's been watching from the side, has been trying to get her to 'bulk up', but has had no success. Why did she choose her again?
Suddenly, both girls got hit in the face by an unknown, small, fast, green thing. "Hey!" They both shouted. They looked around, but didn't see anything.
"Hey, up here."
They both looked up and saw the thing at full size flying above them. "There you go." The thing was a another Techno, but this one was cross between Techno and a dragonfly. Pair of antenna, four wings on his back, and his suit looks armored. He called himself TechnoBug.
"Like my new look?"
"Ha! That's your plan? Turn yourself into a pathetic little bug?"
They both laughed.
"Well, looks can be deceiving. And you're one to talk, Bumbles." TechnoBug flew in, shrunk down, and at the speed of something quick he slugged the two in the face, again.
He said, "Bugs might be small but they're way more than they look:" He quickly flew in and punched Giganta hard into a gantry crane, "They're stronger," he countered Bumblebee trying to hit him with a pipe she found, "quicker," he eye beamed her into a forklift then grew to normal size, "and more dangerous than you think. And a pipe? Against me? Seriously, Bumbles? That's like thinking you'll win a fist fight against the freaking Batman. You either gotta be really stupid or really brave to think either of those'll work out for ya."
Giganta tried to get TechnoBug from behind with the collar, but he turned and uppercut her before she could do anything. The collar was knocked out of her hands and was about to fall in the water, but Tech managed to get it in time by shooting a wire at it and pulling it in his hand.
"Gotcha." He said as he held it in his hand.
He felt a tingle and did a corkscrew over the incoming forklift with Bumblebee behind the wheel. He got an idea and used his Techno Control and made the forklift jerk backwards, move to the right, then the left. Then without thinking, off the docks and into the water.
"And, I realized I didn't think this through." He dropped the collar and dived in the water after her.
A few seconds later, he came out of the water with Bumblebee in his arms. She's a little unconscious, though.
"Oh boy." he said, before laying her down. He did three chest compressions on her then gave her mouth-to-mouth. A second later she coughed up some water then opened her eyes. "Techno?" He smiled and gave her a hug. "TechnoBug, remember?"
She quickly pulled away from him.
"Hey, what the-" "How are you not mad at me!?" "What are you talking about?" "I choke slammed you, tried to hit you with a pipe, and almost ran you over! How can you act like this doesn't mean anything?!" "I got no reason to be mad at you." "I just listed three! How can y-"
She was cut off by Tech kissing her cheek, making her go speechless.
After, he said, "I'm not mad because that wasn't the real you." He held her cheek and continued, "The real you's kind, talented, and smart enough to know that if I was mad, it wouldn't be towards you. You know I trust and care about you." He smiled at her.
Karen's face went red as she looked in Aaron's eyes.
On Aaron's side, well him and the copy's [I say this, because the original will remember everything each copy did tonight, they're all the same person, remember?], he kept on thinking about it, and now deep down he really wants to give Karen a chance, but he's still debating if it's the right way to go.
Interrupting their thoughts, was Giganta who made the ground shake and made TechnoBug loose his balance and fall back in the water. She snatched the collar and put it back around Bumblebee's neck. As Tech surfaced and flew out of the water, Giganta said to him, "You're dead!"
He smirked and said, "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now." He raised his fist, "Download Venom Strike." The watch showed a picture of a amber bee as Tech's green glitched to amber.
Being fearful but not showing it, Giganta power jumped away then ran off and away from the docks with Bumblebee under her arm.
TechnoBug smirked and followed them.
#73: Clubbing
Club Neon...
You know, flying has its advantages. That combined with invisibility and intangibility, I can fly above everyone and not be spotted.
The scanner made me part Kryptonian so tonight, call me UltraTech!
'SuperTech' doesn't really roll off the tongue, so don't go with that name.
Anyway, I just found Supergirl and Sapphire.
Unlike Kara's usual self, she's flirting with a bunch of guys. That's really not like he because she said with no offence to me, and I quote, 'Most guys only want one thing. You know what it is.'
I hope you guys do too, because this fanfic's rated 'T' and I won't be saying it.
Okay, back to the story.
I flew behind Star Sapphire, who was watching Supergirl with jealous eyes from the side, drinking a glass of fruit punch.
She complained, "He didn't even show up tonight. Now I gotta watch this." She sipped her drink.
Now let's see, how can I get Kara's collar wet?
After looking around a bit, I noticed a big fish tank to the far right. There's an idea.
Out of nowhere, I chest blasted Star Sapphire into Supergirl. She looked to see that it was me as I turned visible and tangible. "Never fear, UltraTech's here! Like my new look."
She gritted her teeth at me as both of them got up. When Supergirl spotted me, she whispered something in Sapphire's ear, making her smile. With her ring, she made Supergirl some gantlets. When she had them, she flew at me and tried hitting me, but I blocked every punch she threw.
I felt a tingle then went intangible, allowing Sapphire to go through me and crash into Supergirl.
I flew up and they both followed me. Kara shot her heat beams at me and I mirrored her. Sapphire joined making it my beam against their two beams. Oh boy, my beam's getting overpowered. Time for an upgrade.
I raised my fist. "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now! Download Kryptonian Body Slam!" An amber Superman or Supergirl logo, take your pick, showed on my watch as the green on me glitched into amber. My beam turned amber too and it's now overpowering their beams. As hard as they're trying, no matter how much power they put into it, mine's still stronger.
My beam finally reached them and gave them both a hard shock. When they were stunned, I shot two wires at each of them and said, "Please keep your arms and legs in the ride at all times. Enjoy." I flew at super speed, dragging the girls along with me. This would be funny if my friend wasn't at stake.
Heading for the fish tank, I phased through it. The girls on the other hand crashed into and through it. Sapphire was lying on the floor and Supergirl spitted out some water as she got up. "You alright?" I said, flying to her. "Better. Supergirl is back!" She went to my ear and whispered, "Please don't tell the others about what I did tonight." "I don't even know what you're talking about."
We fist bumped.
Before we could talk and laugh about this night, Sapphire suddenly made a net construct and got me stuck against a wall. She tackled Supergirl and put the spare collar on her.
She grabbed Supergirl and flew through the roof.
I phased through the net and was about to leave when I remembered the mess we made. With some amber pixels, I fixed everything up.
"Enjoy your night everyone, I've got a job to do." I said as I followed he two.
I heard the music go back on as I left. I'm surprised that no one cared about the big hole in the roof.
74: Party Clashers
Kalvin Mansion...
Inside said place, there's a ton of people inside dressed in fancy clothes. At the bottom of a wide staircase, there's a man in a black suit and dark blue hair, Nick Kalvin, the man of the hour.
"Nick honey," his wife, Liza, said coming up to him, "Have you seen my bracelet? I just had it."
Watching from a distance behind a corner was Catwoman, who was unnoticed from the crowd. The bracelet was around her wrist. Next to her was Wonder Woman, wearing other accessories that they stole tonight.
All of a sudden Catwoman got a text on her phone, well five of them all at the same time saying,
"Don't get the collars wet!"
She immediately new that Techno must've thought of something good in order to be in five places at once. He could be on his way here now. They had to go. Now.
"Come on!" The two were about to head to the exit, but their path was blocked. "Going somewhere?" Wonder Woman pulled out her sword and slashed him only to be blocked by another one, in Techno's arms. "Like it?" He pushed her back, and Catwoman in the process. Catwoman leapt at him, but she ended up going through him and into the crowd.
When she got up, she saw Techno and Wonder Woman, slashing swords. And now that the light's better, she saw that Techno's outfit looks different. H almost looks like a knight without a helmet, he's still got his visor though.
"Just because you changed your outfit, doesn't mean you'll defeat me Techno." Wonder Woman said as she dodged Tech's sword. "That's KnighTech to you!" He said pushing her back and ended up knocking her sword out of her hand. Wonder Woman pulled out her shield and started blocking and dodging KnighTech's attacks. She pushed him back with her shield, but he was still standing.
Catwoman threw her sword back to her, but it was snagged by one of Tech's wires. He swung it around and threw it back at Wonder Woman. It missed her by an inch, and went into the wall behind her. She turned around to get it, but it was wedged deep in the wall.
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now!" He said raising his fist, "Download Glory of Heroism!" An amber picture of a sword and shield appeared on the watch as all the green on KnighTech turned to amber.
Wonder Woman finally got her sword out, just in time to block KnighTech's sparking one. Thanks to the download, his strikes will be stronger and with one more slash he knocked it out of her hands again, and left a crack in it. Wonder Woman looked at the cracked sword, then to KnighTech. Fear started to sow on her face. The crowd looked shocked and backed up.
Wonder Woman on the other hand was blocking Tech's hits with her shield. The crack it made kept getting bigger and bigger. Putting the sword away, KnighTech used his foot and blasted her hard which both shattered her shield, and pushed her directly into one of the fountains that was set up for the party. She both knocked it over and got drenched.
"No!" Catwoman said.
Wonder Woman got up and held her head after getting shocked. "Sorry for breaking your stuff." Tech said helping her up. She smiled and said, "It's okay, thank you for saving me." "Don't mention it. I'm just doing my job."
Catwoman got enraged and tackled Wonder Woman and forced the second collar on her. "You always have to spoil our fun, don't you?" Before Tech could say 'And what if I do?', the lights went out, worrying everyone in the room.
KnighTech looked with his Techno Vision to see where they went. He noticed that the lights went out from Catwoman's claws on the light switch. He used them to make a trail for him to follow.
But before he left, he fixed the party with some amber pixelation. "Sorry about the mess, Nick." "It's okay Techno. Hey, before you go can we get a picture with you?" "I got some time to kill. Sure."
Nick and Liza went up to KnighTech and took a selfie with him as the party went on.
After he did, he said goodbye and went after the two villainesses.
#75: The Smart Spark saved the day
Techno's new workspace...
(Original Techno's P.O.V.)
I'm almost done with the Anti-Microchip. I'm working on it here on my workbench in front of M.A.D.I.S.O.N.'s screens.
"TECHNO, THE COPIES ARE CALLING." "Put them on the screen."
The screen showed all the mes faces. Looks like they used their downloads too.
"Let me guess, you did the thing?" "You know it!" They all said.
"Great. Did anyone see who had the extra?" "Nope." "Nothing here." "Not me." "Wish I did." "Thought I did." "I did!" MagiTech said, "Livewire has it. I saw it in her hand when she got away. On on their trail right now!"
BatTech was laughing for some reason.
"Guys I hacked into Babs' phone and listen to this!"
"Hey Batgirl, I always wondered, who is the Smart Spark under the mask? You can tell me." "Sure, it's- GAAAHH!"
All seven of us laughed. Why? Let me explain.
You see, I don't know how yet, but when someone knows my identity and tries to tell someone that doesn't, they get zapped by some of my energy no matter where they're standing. I still don't know how it works, but it happens when it's shared to people that I don't know or trust yet. It's both handy, and a mystery.
All the Techs told me that they all met up somewhere.
"Where are you guys?" "Junkyard." They all said. "Huh, somewhere that's almost impossible to find water. Clever."
I pulled out my phone and saw one thing that the girls didn't check.
"But not clever enough."
Eight minutes later...
I landed next to the other Techs who still had their downloads and were all hiding behind an upright busted bus.
"What's the plan?" TechnoBug asked. "We hold them off for as long as we can. When the time comes, it's game over for them." "What about the spare collar?" LanTech asked. "Leave it to me. Alright, stay here and wait for the signal." "What's the signal?" UltraTech asked. "You're me, remember? You'll know it when you see it."
I got up and went invisible. And stood right in front of the girls. Right now, the Catwoman and Livewire were arguing with the other ten watching.
"I didn't know water messes these things up!" "Well you should've, because Techno literally took us out, in six different places! I can't believe we thought this would work!" "I didn't see you with a plan!" "Tech could be here any second, and all we have is one left! *pulls out collar*"
"Are you two done?" I said, startling them as I went visible.
The to got chest blasted by me before they could hide the collar. It ended up falling out of her hands, and I ended up picking it up. "Let's put an end to this." I crushed the collar in my hand.
"Seriously?!" "Shut it. We can still take him. There's twelve of us and one of him." All twelve of them got in a battle stance.
All I did was smirk as the other Techs appeared next to me, BatTech, TechnoBug, and UltraTech on my left and LanTech, KnighTech, and MagiTech on my right.
Their reaction was, "THERE'S SEVEN OF YOU!?" "Oh great, like one Techno wasn't enough!" Livewire said. "Huh, so that's how he did it." Batgirl said.
"Remember the plan, guys." "You got it, me!"
The six mes went at them and this battle was crazy! I don't even know how to describe this.
Time to do something I was looking forward to: Using the most powerful download I've made yet.
I raised my fist. "M.A.D.I.S.O.N.?"
"INITIATING TECHNO-SCAN."
"Stop him!" Livewire said, only to be slugged in the face by UltraTech.
MagiTech made me a forcefield to keep me protected.
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now!" I said raising my fist, "Download Techno Takedown!" An amber power button symbol appeared on my watch as my green glitched to amber.
The forcefield went down as the other Techno's cleared the way. They didn't show it, but I can tell that the former villainesses were in a lot more pain than the former heroines.
"You guys forgot to check something tonight." "And what is that?" Catwoman said with hatred, "Our backs? Our strategy? The outcome?" "Nope,"
*Thunder noise*
"The weather." In a second, it started pouring down raining. Seeing what was going on, the villains all looked at the former heroes, who were all getting shocked from the collars as they no longer worked anymore.
When they were in control of their bodies again, they looked at each other and group hugged. After that they rushed to me and hugged me too. They chanted, "Techno! Techno! Techno!" "Okay, chill. Let me go."
They let me go and behind them I saw the villains try to get away. Luckily, MagiTech and LanTech made barriers to stop them from escaping.
"And where do you girls think you're going?" The heroes got in front of them and readied themselves. "I've been waiting all night for this." Supergirl said, cracking her knuckles. I went next to them and gestured for the others Technos to give the girls the downloads.
Each Tech gave the girls their corresponding download. The downloads themselves pixelated each of the girls attire back to their original hero wear and look, but amber colored.
"Ah, much better." Zee said, happy that her hair was back to normal.
We all nodded at each other and went at the villains and showed them no mercy. You can hear their screams of pain from a mile away.
#76: All's well that ends well.
The next day at Techno's base...
"Smile!"
*Zap!*
Aaron made the other Technos back to normal with the scanner then put them all back in the magic mirror.
That night was crazy.
"AARON, THE GIRLS ARE CALLING." "Put them on the screens."
Aaron walked up to the computer and it showed the girls all sitting on the couch in the hideout.
Diana said, "Aaron, we cannot thank you enough for what you did for us." "No need, I was just helping the greatest allies I've ever met." "Aww." they said. "Okay, quit it. You're making me blush." He said.
Kara nudged Karen, who nervously said, "Aaron, I made you something to say thanks." A wrapped gift appeared on the desk, via Zee's magic.
With a raised eyebrow, he opened it and inside was a new suit that she made for him. "Oh sweet! Give me a minute!"
Exactly one minute...
Techno's new suit, is like his old one, but this one has a sewn in jacket, and it's feet was replaced with some green and black shoes. Aaron said to Karen, "K, you are the best. She blushed and the others smiled at the two.
