Chapter three
Meeting the pack and learning about a new world
As they were walking back into the house Anne decided this was the time to remind you that tonight we will be eating with everyone in the dining hall with the others that live in the house is that ok or do you need one more day? Harry shook his head no I'll be fine. Yea theirs no need to worry will help with any questions you might have said Kloues cheerfully. Ya May added. Ok ok everybody go get washed up for dinner said Jake. ok said all the kids. First one up the stairs wins said Hunter mockingly. No running up the stairs Anne said quickly. Hunter groaned ok mom. Then continued to do a quick shuffle to the stairs as the rest of the other kids joined him in his slow race. Anne only shook her head. Jake laughed looks like they found a loophole. Anne looked at her husband and frowned ya I can see that.
As they all made their way down the stairs to the dining hall to see two girls standing at the bottom of the stairs. Hay Haily Dylan said before he had got to the bottom of the stairs and kissed her. Hunter on the other hand didn't bother with a hi he went straight for a kiss from his girl April. Harry was amazed to see such akes of affection. Klouse said ugg mates you guys should get some rooms your ruining my appetite. Hunter and Dylan looked at Klouse and stuck their tongues out at him. Harry with a surprised look on his face just rushed past the scene to the side of his aunt and uncle who had already walked past to the dining hall. Harry being a curious child poled his aunt's arm to get her attention succeeding in getting both Anne and Jake's attention why were they doing that and are they really allowed to be doing that? Anne leaned down and promised to have this talk with him later. Ok so first we go to that table grab a plate then put food on it then sit down but because of the doctor's orders we will help you mack your plate so you don't hurt your stomach ok. Harry gave her a smile and said yes.
After they had gotten their plates and sat down halfway into their meals people slowly made their way to where Harry and his family were sitting. Hi, I'm Markes Micole the gamma and you must be the famous Harry Potter I've heard so much about. Gamma Harry said in a questing tone. Yea that is the title that is given to the 3rd in command around here Markes said and smiled. Oh ok, Harry said innocently. Markes just nodded his head and said well I just wanted to say hi and welcome to the pack. Harry was again confused at the statement but smiled ok. Markes smiled again then turned with good night thrown over his shoulder. Harry decided to ask his aunt and uncle later because he was hungry. After Harry had finished his food another man decided to come up to his table. Hi, I'm Berkly Robertson the beta welcome to the pack young Potter he said a little stiffly and with a deep tone. Harry was a little frightened and squeaked a hi and thanks. Then he looked at his aunt and uncle my alfa my luna I understand the circumstances of Harry's upbringing I'm wondering when he will be informed of our world and when will he be joining us in training. We hear your concerns Berkly and we will inform Harry tomorrow so's not to overwhelm him as long as he's ok with it we are hoping to slowly get him into training because of circumstances we don't want him collapsing from exhaustion ok. Yes, my alfa I understand and once again it's nice to meet you have a good night all. As he left Harry looked at his aunt and uncle confused. Before Harry could ask any questions Anne stood and said all of my kid's please get moving to our family room and everyone else have a good night. Good night said everyone in the room.
It's family movie night I'll get the popcorn Jake honey you start the movies. Ok honey Jake said. As everyone got comfy in the living room in front of the TV Anne came in with three boles of popcorn and Jake put on the first movie it had the title is it a boy or a girl by James and Lily Potter. Halfway through the video and Harry was already in tears and started asking questions about the magic that was being used in the video that was when they paused the video and tried their best to explain that they were wizards and so were most of the people that lived on the land and that he is a wizard two and how he would be learning some magic before he would go to Hogwarts and this made him happy and excited but he promised to ask any more questions he had tomorrow. They watched five more home movies and then went to bed.
Harry once again was woken up by a knocking at the door Harry Klouse are you guy's awake? Harry just answered yes you can come in ignoring Klouses groaning. Shara came in the room and told them to get up get dressed and go eat then Harry the adults are going to have a meeting with you in Jake's office ok ok. She said then left without an answer or a word. Klouse sluggishly got out of bed and Harry followed suit. After breakfast followed Anne to Jake's office and sat in one of the big soft chairs in front of Jake's desk. Ok Harry it's time to continue our conversation from last night. Harry said ok. It didn't take more than half an hour then they started the next conversation that needed to be had. Jake started the conversation by asking Harry to take a good look at his eyes as he made them glow yellow with the power of his wolf. This made Harry's eyes both glow and widen at the site. We aren't just wizards were also wolf bloods. What is a wolf blood Harry asked a little nervous. A wolf blood is a person borne with the ability to turn into a wolf and will have wolf-like traits and are affected by the moon. Am I a wolf blood Harry asked. Yes, and when you turn sixteen you will get your wolf and have your first shift just like your cousins will. Will it hurt Harry asked? Only if you try to fight it. Once you get your wolf you will hear a voice in your head that will be your wolf and any other voices will be the others in the pack it's called mind linking we can do it. Then they explained the ranking system and how Hunter will tack over for Jake and then they explained how mates work and that it's normal to see mates kissing around the house and on the rest of the land. Then they explained what he should expect when he meets his mate unless they aren't a wolf blood then they will fill the pool of the bond but they won't understand and they might get scared about the way wolf bloods have automatic attraction and clinginess and over protectiveness. And then they made sure he knew there are some couples a.k.a mates that are of the same sex and that that was ok and excepted among their kind and in the wizarding world. Harry seems to have some thoughts on the subject but didn't voice them. And that there is no under any circumstances any bulling aloud. Harry smiled at that. But just so he was aware they reminded him that at Hogwarts there might be some kids from high-class families that will try to say and do things to hurt him or others and he was to go to an adult when things like that happen. Harry said ok but still didn't have much faith in teachers and doing things about bullying.
Now with that done, Harry was released to go outside to play with the other kids that were outside.
