#86: Aarondroid's aspects
We start this part with Selina Kyle, Pamela Isley, Doris Zeul, and Leslie Willis walking down the street from school.
They're talking about the number of homework they have to go through over the weekend.
"Pay, close attention, Garth. A.D., would you demonstrate?"
The four turned to see Aaron on the other side of the street, talking with a friend, and the weirdest thing to Doris, Selina, and Leslie was the robot that looked just like him. Said robot zipped away on it's wheels and came back two seconds later holding a round rock in its hand. The bot then hit the rock with its other hand, cracking it open and showing that the rock was actually a geode.
"Nice work, Aarondroid. High five!"
He and the bot high fived.
"Whoa! Is there anything else he can do?" "Oh, I keep a list. Here." Aaron gave Garth a list of the many things his robot can do.
"Any other questions?" "Just one more. What happens if he malfunctions?" "If that does happen, I'll know. *points to Aarondroid's lights* The green lights mean that all of Aarondroid's systems are functioning perfectly. When/if he does not work right, I can turn him off and fix the problem. Watch."
Aaron pressed the light above Aarondroid's chest compartment, which made it open and access the control panel. There was a power button at the top and when Aaron pressed it, Aarondroid's screens turned black, his lights went out, and he leaned forward, signaling that he shut down.
When Aaron pressed it again, Aarondroid was back on.
"Remember Garth, if you want to make a good robot, you need three main things: A power source, a way to control it and it's systems, and the systems themselves." "Got it. Thanks, Aaron." "No problem."
Garth then left, leaving Aaron and Aarondroid by themselves. That's when he heard, "Hey."
He turned to see Pam and the other girls, "Hey girls. Need something?"
#87: Bot borrowing
"What do you mean you wanna borrow Aarondroid?" "It's just for a little while." "Sorry Pamela, but no." "Why not?"
"One: There's two of your friends I don't trust." I said raising my eyebrow at Leslie and Doris, who rolled their eyes, "Two: I have work today. I can't just give you my robot. And before you say, 'You don't trust me?' you barely trust me at all."
Pam rolled her eyes. That's when Selina jumped in.
"Come on, Aaron, I'm sure we can work something out." "What is there to work out? I said no." "How about just until you get back from work? Will that be okay?" "Hmm, I still don't know, A.D., what do you think?"
"Processing...Today's work day will be slow. The approximate time period of today should be around one hour, two minutes, and twelve seconds."
"Huh, I mean I guess. C'mere a second."
I went to A.D. accessed his control panel and did some coding. After I was done, I closed it.
"*Turns to girls*Okay, I let you borrow Aarondroid only for today. But three things. One: You won't be able to ask him any thing private or secretive. You can try anyway, but he won't answer you. Two: He won't be doing anything involving violence or breaking the law. Trust me, just because he's a robot, that doesn't mean that he'll have to use force to get you to stop. Three: The second my work's done, Aarondroid'll come straight to me. No ifs, ands, or buts. Got it? Questions, comments, concerns?"
No one answered.
"Great. Aarondroid, authorize access to Pamela, Selina, Doris, and Leslie until my works done." "Authorizing access." "See you all later."
I then turned to leave. Something tells me that this was a bad idea.
Later at A's...
Wow. A.D. was right, today is slow. I've only had six customers.
It shouldn't take long for the store to close for the day. I wonder what Aarondroid's up to right now.
#87: You don't want to know
As you probably thought from the beginning, yes the four used Aarondroid to complete their homework. But after that? Let's do montage of a few of the things they did just to save time.
Cue montage!
We see a red random car speeding down a dirt track that Aaron and Aarondroid used to test A.D.'s speed.
Said chrome copy was behind the wheel with the others in the car, and for a robot built by Aaron, it sure can burn rubber. The girls were having fun.
We now see them at a gym. Doris wanted to see if Aaron's bot was as strong as the boy himself.
Turns out he was. He was literally carrying every weight in the gym, while on a treadmill on its highest speed.
Doris was both envious and impressed. Envious because she saw Aaron do something like that and she couldn't do it herself.
The girls just learned that some of Aarondroid's parts can detach and reattach.
They're taking pictures and selfies with Aarondroid's arms, legs, and head.
They ended with a picture of those parts in the wrong places.
We now see them going down the street aiming Aarondroid's hands at people.
After aiming, they shot out things like water balloons with soda and Mentos inside
That's a mess that no one's gonna clean up.
End montage!
We now see the four in Leslie's place laughing about today on the couch, while Aarondroid was cleaning his limbs out. He got some soda stuck in there.
The second he was done, everyone in the room heard a beeping noise. They looked at Aarondroid who was getting up from his seat and heading for the door. That meant that it was time for him to head to Aaron.
Yeah, well, the girls had other plans. To be completely honest, they weren't intending on giving Aarondroid back. When they first saw Aarindroid and they had the idea of taking him from Aaron and using him for their own selfish and lazy needs.
"Hey! Aarndroid!" Leslie called. He didn't answer and kept going for the door. That's when they all remembered that Aaron said that they could tell him to do things until Aaron got off work.
Pam then tried. She made some vines appear from the ground and with that, A.D. couldn't move. The bot looked at his feet then turned his head and torso around, only for Pam to open his control panel and press the power button, shutting him off.
Selina then came over and looked at the control panel. She's dealt with some of them before, but this one, it was another story. But she shrugged her shoulders anyway and went to it.
After pressing a couple of buttons, Leslie and Doris got impatient. Leslie got up and stomped her foot into the ground, sending an electrical current towards Aarondroid. It zapped him and Selina, who glared at Leslie and got a smirk in response, and the former got electrocuted then went back to it's powered down state.
Pam turned the robot back on. That's when they noticed something, off. When Aarondroid was back online, the light on the right of his glasses wasn't green. It was yellow.
That meant that something was wrong with him. But, the girls thought it wouldn't be a big deal.
With Aaron...
"Not bad Garth."
Aaron was in his store with Garth at the counter, showing him the small robotic fish he made and put in a fishbowl.
"Thanks Aaron. Hey, where's Aarondroid? I want to show him this." "I don't know. He was supposed to be here a while ago."
"ERROR! ERROR"
That was followed by smashing and crashing sounds. The boys looked at each other then ran outside. When they did, they saw that the street was a complete mess.
"Aaron, look!" He looked to where Garth was pointing and he saw Aarondroid speeding all over the place.
He didn't look like himself though. His screens were red with yellow caution symbols and one of his lights was yellow like earlier.
Garth looked at Aaron, who's eye started to twitch, glitch, and spark.
Garth new from his test that he was...unstable at times. But he hasn't seen him when he was mad.
Aarondroid suddenly got a neon green aura around himself making him stop, and Aaron went up to him and discreetly used his pixelation to fix him. The bot was back to normal.
"Garth, I'll be back. Give me a minute."
Later...
"I feel so much better." Aaron said as he, his robot, and Garth walked in back in the store.
"Where'd you go?" Garth asked. "Had to go punch out some anger."
He went to Leslie's house, which was already a mess wen he got there. He ended up knocking out three of the girls. Pam was the only one who got out of this with a hard slap on the wrist. It'll be numb for a few days.
What really confused Aaron was that when he fixed Aarondroid, there were trace amount of chlorophyll around his feet that he saw with his Techno Vision. That didn't make sense because he saw using his Techno Vision that Aaondroid didn't touch or roll through any plants when he was on his rampage.
That's gonna make him think for a while.
But one thing's for certain, those four were not gonna ask for Aarondroid for a while.
