Okay, if you may or may not have noticed, I didn't make a chapter to celebrate this story's one year anniversary.

Well, there's two other reasons besides 'I forgot'.

One: I wanted to make one, but I didn't know how to do it.

Two: I was trying to make enough room for part one hundred, which will be a chapter by itself. Why? That's a surprise. Only thing I'll say is that it will be one of the longest chapters I've ever made.

Anyway, this part's short to introduce the main plot of this chapter.

Enjoy!

#97: Tech talk

"And here he is: the man of the hour. Or Smart Spark and Glitch King, give it up for...Techno!"

The second I heard my name and the people cheering and clapping, I went onstage.

"Hey, Metropolis! How you doing?" When I said that, the people cheered even more.

To make a long story short, a had a request on TechnoHelp about me being on a talk show. I thought 'Why not?'. So here I am. I get to answer questions, make the people of this city happy, and be true to myself. Well, almost true. There's some truths I can't tell.

As I sat down at the table with the host, I asked, "So how does this work?" "Well, I'm going to ask you a question, then in a few minutes, people watching the show are gonna call in and ask you questions. All you have to do is answer them." "That doesn't include ones that involve my identity, right?" "Of course." "Great."

"Alright, first question: What's your opinion on your arch nemesis, Livewire?"

"...

...

...PfffHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHA! *wipes eye* Good one man!"

Wait they were serious? Everyone's looking confused.

"Oh, that wasn't a joke? Sorry guys, but she's not my arch nemesis."

That made everyone more confused.

"Have you guys not seen my app, or been to MegaCity? You'd know that she's nowhere near being my arch nemesis. The villains I face from my hometown are way worse than her. Better even. There's this one guy who's literally a part of my origin story."

#98: Tech's honest best

"...There's a lot of guys and girls that can pass as good enough bad guys, but Livewire is nowhere near their level. Hers is so low, it belongs in the negatives. It's below the underworld itself."

A yell was heard offscreen and we can see a remote get flung into the T.V., smashing it.

The screen takes a one-eighty and we see an angry Leslie Willis who watching the show.

Techno really made her look bad.

"We have our first caller!" said the host, "You're on, caller."

"Uh, hi. Can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear, ma'am."

"Okay. So Techno, how would you describe your relationship with Bumblebee?"

"With one word made from two words: fantast-onishing. She's...how can I explain it? She's everything I could ask for as a girl and more: Smart, kind, cute, and nice to be around. Better than any of my exes who left me when they thought I wasn't enough for them. Bumblebee was with me when I when the others said, and I quote, 'You are nothing.', and now, I want to give her everything."

The audience all aw'd at that.

"*sniff* That was beautiful."

"Uh, ma'am, you okay?"

"I'm fine. *sniff* Thank you for answering my question."

"You're welcome."

Then, the call ended.

The screen turns to see Karen Beecher who was watching the show in her living room. She was crying with happy tears. It was heartwarming to know that her boyfriend felt that way about her.

"Let's go to our next caller!"

Forty-five minutes later..

That took a while, but most of Tech's questions were answered.

It then came to the last one.

"You're on, caller!"

"Hello, Am I coming through clearly?"

"Crystal." Tech said.

"Great. I would like to know, why do you always stop Lexcorp's productions? I mean, their trying to run a business after all."

"Well sir, I only put a stop to companies that make problems and sell solutions. Like we don't know what they're trying to do."

Apple be like.

"Think about it, Luthor may be a genius, a crafty one, but let's be honest, have you not ever wondered, 'Has Lex Luthor actually a good person?'. I mean the guy's head office building has three different access locks, he always makes products hat we conveniently need even though we already have stuff that can do it jut as good, he has machines that easily put everyone out of a job, and have you even seen the stuff that guy put online about him? What's his name, Aaron?"

Everyone in the crowd started murmuring among themselves. Tech made a few good points.

"There's only two things companies run by a person like that are interested in: money and power. And based off what Lex is like, I'm going with the latter."

People started agreeing with Techno.

The host then said, "Caller? You sure seem to be silent. Is everything okay?"

*click*

The caller turns out to be Lex Luthor himself who was watching from his computer at his desk.

His sister Lena was in the room too and she was laughing a lot because Lex had no comeback and just hung up.

You can see the hatred on his face.

Techno was more annoying to put up with than Aaron was.

"Well folks, that's all we have time for. Give it up again for the Glitch King!"

Techno stood up and took a bow as the audience cheered for him again.

#99: Sparking with fury

The next day...

I'm in my base right now. I'm working on this new project, when suddenly an alarm came on.

I ran up to the main computer and said, "M.A.D.I.S.O.N., what's going on?"

"LIVEWIRE HAS BEEN SEEN CAUSING DESTRUCTION ON MAIN STREET."

The screens then showed Livewire, who was not looking the happiest, I might add, making a mess of the street.

"SHOW YOUR FACE, TECH! I GOTTA BONE TO PICK WITH YOU!"

Crazy thought, but she must've seen what I said on TV last night.

Okay, Livewire, let's get this over with.

Six minutes later, Main Street...

I arrived via electrical signals to see Livewire throwing fists at a parking meter.

She didn't notice me, so I said, "Did you lose a quarter, or are you just mad?"

She turned to me, and I could feel her anger just from looking at her. She tore off part of the parking meter and threw it at me but I just leaned my head to the side and dodged it.

She stomped her way over to me saying, "(mocking tone)'she's nowhere near being my arch nemesis. The villains I face from my hometown are way worse than her.' Are you saying I'm a failure of a villain!?" "You know I didn't say that." "But you wanted to! You wanted to say that I'm the worst villain on this planet and you know it..." "Not really."

"STOP LYING! You want to hear something, Tech-nerd?" she said when she was inches from my face, "Ever since you came to Metropolis, you've been a pain in my neck for the longest...I will stop at nothing until you are gone for good...Even if it kills me..."

She tried throwing a power filled punch at me, but I caught it and pushed her away.

"Livewire you know how this goes when we fight: You start it, I counterattack, we brawl, you get badly beaten, I make it out without a scratch, you feel humiliated and say that you'll come back again to beat me. That's how every villain is when I fight them. I'm not saying you're a failure. I'm saying that you can't measure up to me as much as my old villains try to measure up to me, even though they also can't."

"Oh yeah?!"

We fought after that. DoubleA135?

Got it. Five minutes later...

Who do you think won? The boy who's next to impossible to beat, or the girl who hates me, is bruised, and is laying on the ground?

I rolled my eyes, turned, and walk away.

In a weak tone I heard her say, "Sooner or later...I'll finish you...When that day comes, I'll be laughing at your face when it happens..."

"Only thing I'm hearing is you proving my point."

Prove me wrong when I say, this girl is something.
