I'm surprised you guys even read this far or even cared.
This entire chapter will be in Third Person P.O.V., and is something I've been working on for a very long while. This chapter is, and I kid you not, 26,355 words long!

#100: Homecoming
Hey, everyone. I hope you're enjoying today as much as I am.
We're not actually starting this chapter with Aaron or the girls, we're actually starting this one at the main Lexcorp building's main office, where Lex is.
Said, guy was looking on his computer doing research. What kind of research? It involved Aaron.
On the computer, Lex's looking at pictures, videos, news reports, and other stuff that had Aaron and sometimes his robot.
He's trying to figure out more about the guy. I mean, how could he not? He's the full package: Smart, skilled, talented, creative, hard working in a quick way, and it isn't easy to change his mind.
If Lex had someone like that on his side, there would be infinite outcomes, all working out for Lex. The problem is, he can't get through to him. He tried negotiating, Lex ended up exposed. He tried bribery, Aaron wouldn't take a cent. He tried warfare, Aaron fought back and won. Techno even mentioned him on that talk show!
Seriously, who is this guy? Clearly someone Lex can't beat.
He tried to find something, then he came across a report from the Daily Planetoid from Metropolis High.
In the video, Aaron was going his locker and Lois and Jimmy showed up. Lois asked Aaron, "Aaron, you've been fixing problems around this school, have a video channel, and running a store all at the same time. How do you do it?" Aaron responded, "Well, there's no secret Lois. I've been doing things like this since I was a toddler, no joke." He closed his locker. "Sure, I make it look easy, but looks can be deceiving. When you grow up living in a town literally surrounded by technology, you pick up a few things."
This caught Lex's attention.
"Mind if we get the name of this city you grew up in?" "MegaCity."
Lex smiled. If he couldn't get Aaron on his side, he could get the next best thing: The technology from his home town.
Okay, changing the scene to the hallways of Metropolis High.
Karen just met up with the rest of the girls and asked them, "Has anyone seen Aaron? I can't find him anywhere."
"No." "Nope." "Sorry, haven't seen him" "I haven't seen him today." "No, sorry Karen."
No one's seen him at school at all today. Which isn't like Aaron because usually he does something that would get their attention. Did he not come to school today?
Suddenly, the six got a text.
Duck!
They all suddenly ducked under Aaron riding on something. He stopped in front of them and said to the girls, "Sorry I'm late, I was discussing something with the principal. By the way, like my new hoverboard? Made it this morning."
He got off it and Jessica asked, "What were you two talking about?" "Well, remember how I said that I'd sometime let you guys see MegaCity someday?"
"Yeah?" Babs said, still paying attention, but her mind on Aaron's hoverboard.
"Well, I talked with Chapin and your parents, contacted my mom, and with her connections and the grownups' approval, *breathes* I got us a week off school, and we're going on a trip to MegaCity!"
"Really?!" They asked. "Are Techno's colors green, black, and sometimes amber? We're leaving tomorrow at ten by ferry. When you get home, pack clothes and stuff for a week, anything else you need to know, ask me. Any other questions right now?"
They all raised their hands.
"None? Great. I'll see you guys after school, I gotta decide who else to bring. I was given six extra tickets and I need to see who to give them to."
Little did they know, a redhead and her plant pal was watching and listening to everything that was said around the corner.
Later, Science class...
As Aaron adjusted his lab coat and his glasses transformed into goggles, he felt someone tap his shoulder. Turned out to be Pamela.
"Hey, Pamela. What's up?" he said mixing chemicals in a beaker.
"Hey, um, I heard that you're, going away for a week."
"Yep, to MegaCity." He put in some kind of powder. "Me, the girls, and six others are gonna have a blast. I just need to figure out which six people I gotta ask to come with us."
As Aaron put in a flask of a yellow liquid, Pam asked, "Could my friends and I come?" "Well, depends. *looks at her* Only if you guys don't cause any problems." "Is trying good enough?" "I guess. I dunno Pamela, I mean, we only talk when it's convenient and you barely trust me enough to be your friend, and do I need to remind you of what happened to Aarondroid?
Are you sure I can trust you with this kind of thing?"
Pam had to think about this. Aaron did have a few good points, these two were technically acquaintances. Pam wasn't really good on having certain friends. But, she did want to see what everything she was told about this town was true. Yet, she couldn't promise that she and her friends wouldn't cause some mischief.
In the end, she said, "Sure?" Aaron shrugged his shoulders and said, "Eh, what the heck. *pulls out tickets* Here. You'll love the place as much as I do."
She was surprised, but she took them.
"Hey, could you hand me that beaker? This serum I'm making's gonna make fireworks." "In here?" "Yeah, why not?"
After school...
Aaron's seen walking out of the school, messing with his new hoverboard with a screwdriver. When he finished, he put it in his bag and kept walking.
He met up with Aarondroid who was waiting for him, and the two started walking home.
"Are you positive it is clever to bring you and the female heroines on a trip to MegaCity?" "Chillax A.D., as long as I'm around, everything will be fine. I'm always someone you can rely on. If something does go wrong, I can always tell M.A.D.I.S.O.N. to bring me back here. What are the odds something bad'll happen?"
"Calculating...*Shows number on his screens* There is a 89.57 percent chance of disaster happening." "*sighs* Figure of speech A.D., figure of speech."
On the other side of town, Luthor's in his car with his little sister in the passenger seat, on route to home to pack for the trip.
"Why do I have to come with you again?" "It wasn't my decision, it was Mom's." "Because you told her that you wanted us to go on a trip together, and she said yes."
Since they're gonna go back and forth like this for a while, cue time skip for tomorrow.
Saturday, ferry pier at 9:53...
Aaron and Aarondroid were waiting impatiently for the others at the front of the pier.
"I know they're all girls, but sheesh. Does it really take twelve girls this long?" Aaron said reaching in his bag, pulled out a Slurpee, and started drinking.
Aarondroid tapped Aaron's shoulder and pointed to the right. His friends were finally here in Jessica's van.
"About time." he said as he reached in his bag and pulled out a box with a button on it. He pressed it and the box transformed into a luggage cart. "*drinks Slurpee a bit* Okay people, luggage on the cart. Boat leaves in a few of minutes."
Each of the girls put their luggage on the cart. Zee had the most out of all of them. Luckily, the cart could extend.
"You do know we're only gone for a week, right?" "A girl has her reasons, Aaron." He rolled his eyes.
Another car showed up and almost hit Jess' van. That was Pam and her friends.
Selina came out of the driver's side and Aaron said, "I didn't know you had a car." She just smiled and didn't answer and put her bags on the cart.
Doris and Leslie came out next and Aaron said, "Don't say I never did anything for ya. Enjoy this trip while it lasts." They just rolled their eyes and put their stuff on the cart.
"This trip better be worth it, Aaron." Carol said, putting on her bags. "Carol, you'll eat those words the second we step foot on MegaCity."
Harleen put her luggage on the cart, then went to talk with Babs.
Pamela just said "Thanks." to Aaron, put her bags on the cart and waited to the side with Phil in her hands.
Aarondroid tapped Aaron's shoulders again and on his screens showed the time: 9:58.
"Nice. (to everyone) Okay people, on the ferry. We're leaving in two minutes. A.D., help me with the cart."
The girls all walked down the pier onto the ferry with Aaron and Aarondroid pushing the cart following them.
Once everyone was on, the boat started to move. They were on their way.
Forty-five minutes later...
Out on the open sea, the ferry's on route to MegaCity.
Karen's on the side of the boat looking down at the water with a nervous look. Aaron, seeing that her girlfriend was upset went next to her and asked, "You alright, K?"
She looked at him then looked away.
Aaron pulled her a hug and said, "Karen, it's okay. You know you can tell me anything." She look back at him, sighed, then said, "I'm nervous about meeting your mom. She might not like me. Since, I'm your eleventh girlfriend, and the other ten didn't like you for you, I just thought-"
"My mom wouldn't like that I'm in another relationship?" She nodded. "Don't worry, I told Mom all about you and she thinks your amazing. She's got no reason to hate you. Besides, I told you this before, you're one in a million. You're nothing like my exes. She'll love you."
This made Karen smile come back. She kissed Aaron, hugged him back, and said, "Thanks, Aaron." "Anytime."
Aarondroid suddenly got Aaron's attention and pointed at he front of the boat. Aaron looked where he was pointing and smiled and ran to the bow, leaving Karen confused.
"Girls! Come take a look at this!"
Karen went to the bow and ahead she saw something that looked incredible. The other eleven came behind them and saw the same thing and had the same reaction.
"That's MegaCity?!" "Yes it is, Babs. Yes it is. You think that's something? Wait 'til we take the tour."
When the ferry reached the city, it stopped. Everyone grabbed their bags, Aarondroid carrying all of Zee's with multiple arms, and walked to the ferry's edge. Suddenly, a light blue holographic dock appeared.
Aaron and Aarondroid were the first one's on the dock and to everyone's surprise, he was actually standing on it. "Come on, it's safe."
One by one they all followed Aaron and his metal lookalike down the dock.
The dock dissipated when they were on land, and before them they saw MegaCity and all it's glory: High skyscrapers, holograms and digital billboards on the side of them, hovercars flying in the air, people going down the streets on conveyer belts/sidewalks, and robots walking, rolling, and hovering by their human lookalikes.
And that's just from this perspective.
"*sighs*Man, it feels good to be home."
"Aaron!"
They all looked to see a woman walk to Aaron. She had short hair brown hair, tan skin, and had on a white suit with a blue sash and a badge. This is Elsie, Aaron's-
"Mom!"
The two hugged each other. Aaron turned to the girls and said, "Girls, my mom, and mayor of MegaCity." This surprised everyone. Aaron then said, "Mom, these are my friends: Barbra, Kara, Diana, Jessica, Zee, and my girlfriend Karen. *Points to Pam and co.* And these are my other friends and mutual acquaintances: Harleen, Selina, Carol, Doris, Leslie, and Pamela."
"It's nice to meet you all. I'm Elsie, welcome to MegaCity: The town ahead of it's time. Come with me, we'll get you settled in." She gestured everyone to follow her and they did to a limo. Before they went in, some of the staff bots came and carried their luggage, minus Aaron's bag, and held them for the time being. Then, they all went in the limo. Once inside the vehicle, it started floating then flew up in the air with the rest of the cars.
The girls were all looking at the town with awe. Especially Babs and Karen. As two tech enthusiasts, they were reacting as if they were kids in a candy store.
"Man, I missed floating on the skyway." Aaron said. It's been such a long time since Aaron moved away. Aaron pulled a tour guide's hat out of his bag and said, "Welcome to MegaCity, everyone. My name is Aaron Palmer, and I'll be your tour guide. If you look to your right, you'll see MegaCity High."
It was a big school building with a holoprojection that said 'MegaCity Highschool'.
"There, classes only lasted ten seconds and at the end of the day, there's an hour long test that shows you how much you've learned." "Wait, classes only lasted ten seconds? How?" "Well Kara, there's hi-tech helmets that drop down onto the students' heads and give them the information they need. Sure, they'll zap you on your first time, but it'll go away."
The limo kept flying until they reached another place.
"If you look down, you'll see MegaCity Central Park: one the many parks we have in town. Trust me, those plants aren't plastic. We have special technology that can move the plants to a new location so they can transplant while we do construction where it was at first." "What if the parks get too full?" Jess asked. "Then we start a new one."
The limo reached yet another place: a restaurant that stuck out of the side of a building
"Look to your left and you'll see Bite in the Sky: The best place to eat in MegaCity. They'll sell anything you want to eat. You just gotta think about it and the kitchen staff will make it the second you walk in." "Just how advanced is the tech here?" Karen asked. "Yes." Aaron replied.
The limo made it to a huge theater by the water.
"That's the Carnelian Theater. We call it that because carnelians, not that expensive but still pretty gemstones, represent energy, courage, motivation and creativity, the things all performers show when they're on stage. If they can do any talent, they're allowed on stage once. If the review's great enough on that one act, they can come back whenever they want." Well, Zee knew where she was going tomorrow.
The limo then flew over a building that looked like a game controller from above.
"That's the Gaming Hub. I know what you're thinking and yes, it's a place where people can play video games. But listen to this, you can play all kinds of games there. Virtual reality, computer, arcade, there's even an entire sports center. Any game you can think of playing, you'll find it there."
The limo flew by a large museum.
"What you're looking at now is the Mega Museum. It's full of priceless artifacts. Also a lot of magical and/or cursed artifacts in there." That got both Selina's and Zee's attention. "You sure it's a good idea to keep stuff like that in a museum?" Zee asked. "Don't ask me. Wasn't my idea."
The limo then flew by two tall skyscrapers that connected to each other.
"Those buildings are the ones that people in town love the most: The Mecha Inc. buildings. This entire company's the reason we have robots in our town. The building on the left is the factory, where you can get a robot that looks like you. "Can we get one now?!" Babs said excitedly. "You got five thousand dollars?" "Aw man..." "Now the building on the right is the robotics lab and office building, and on top is the main office where the person who's in charge of it all is." "And who's that?" Carol asked. "My dad."
"Your dad?!" Aaron's friends asked. "Yep. My dad, William Palmer, and I are the reason MegaCity is the town it is today. Sure, my mom and him divorced a long while ago, but I still got to see him from time to time."
Meanwhile...
"And stay out."
Lex just got kicked out of one of the Mecha Inc. buildings. And yes, they got to MegaCity sometime yesterday.
Why was he kicked out? Well, to make a long story short, he was talking with the company's CEO and tried to coax William into giving Lex the company. But, father was like son and he didn't give in. Lex walked out of the office the discreetly made it to the factory to see what he could get his hands on, yet was caught by security drones and kicked out.
Lena just walked out casually with blowing a gum bubble. She did nothing and waited for Lex's plan to go up in flames. Which it did. She gave him a slow clap and a smirk.
"I'm hungry, can we go to that 'Bite in the Sky' place we saw?" Lex rolled his eyes and got up.
"You two new here?"
They turned to see a teen in a black hoodie, pants, and sunglasses. He had his hands in his pockets and his hood up so his hair wasn't showing.
"Looks like it." he continued, "Everyone here knows that you can't just do what you want in that building." "And who are you supposed to be?" Lex asked. "Someone who has big dreams, too many ideas, and interest in what you have in store."
He pulled out a business card from his left pocket ad showed it to Lex. "Trust me, you'll be in for a surprise."
Lena sighed. "This is not gonna end well."
It's in the evening and at the bottom of a tall building, we see staff bots carrying the teens' luggage into the building.
At the top of the building we see the inside of a large penthouse.
We see elevator doors open and in came Aaron without the hat, his robot, his mom, and the girls.
The girls were impressed.
"Here's where you'll be staying." Elsie said, "There's enough rooms for each of you, but if you'd like to sleep somewhere else or share a room with someone, go ahead." "Thanks again, Mom." "You're welcome. If there's anything else you need, feel free to ask." "Got it."
She gave him a hug and left the penthouse.
Later at night...
We see Aaron in his sleepwear in the room's bathroom brushing his teeth. Aarondroid's in the room himself in sleep mode.
*Knock, knock, knock*
"Come in." In came Karen in her sleepwear. She closed the door behind her and she breathed in, then out.
Aaron finished up then came in the room. "Hey, K. Need something?" She nervously said, "Um, c-can I sleep in here? With you?"
Aaron chuckled a bit, then kissed her forehead and said, "Sure."
There was a control button on the wall that could bring in how many beds were in the room and how they could be arranged. Aaron was reaching for it when, "Wait!" Aaron turned to her. "I-I want to sleep in the same bed." "Oh, sure."
Aaron got in the bed first then gestured Karen to get in with him, and she was anxious by the second. When she got in, Aaron put her arms around her.
Karen was completely red now. Sure, she and Aaron have cuddled before, but this time felt different.
"You okay?" "Mhm..." Aaron just smiled at her nervousness. He suddenly held her face and pulled her in for a kiss. A long and passionate kiss.
As they kissed, Karen closed her eyes as all of her worries disappeared. When it ended, they slowly drifted off to sleep.
In the morning...
Strange. Where's Aaron? We just see Karen alone in bed.
She started to get up, and with tired eyes looked around for him. He wasn't in the room. Nor was Aarondroid.
She rubbed her eyes and got out of the bed and left to her room. When she came out of her room, she was fully dressed. She then smelled something in the air.
She followed the smell to the penthouse's kitchen. There, she almost bumped into Aaron and Aarondroid who were carrying trays with food on their way out.
"'Scuse us. Morning Karen." "Good morning."
She followed them to the dining room and when she stepped foot in there, she gasped at the sight of a lot of breakfast food.
Trays and plates of pancakes, waffles, toast, eggs cooked in all kinds of ways, bacon, ham, sausage patties, biscuits, muffins, cinnamon rolls, fruit, yogurt, and coffee cake, was all across the table.
"Aarondroid, could you get everyone up for breakfast?" He saluted and rolled off saying, "Aarondroid, getting everyone up for breakfast." "Don't do it too harshly!" Aaron yelled after his robot.
He then said to his girlfriend, "Sorry I couldn't stay in bed longer. As good as it felt, I wanted to make breakfast for everyone. I had a habit of doing that when I was living with my family." She sighed at his selflessness. She said before kissing his cheek, "It's okay. I'm just glad it wasn't a dream."
After that, the rest of the girls, who were fully dressed, came in after Aarondroid. They all paused when they saw the breakfast spread.
"So, who's hungry?"
After breakfast...
We see everyone walking out the building with satisfied looks. Aaron sure could cook.
"Okay people, everyone take one of these."
Aaron was in front of everyone and in his hands were round smartwatches.
Everyone took one.
"Okay, so I'm taking Karen over to my mom's to go meet my my family. In the meantime, the rest of you are going sightseeing."
"What's the deal with these watches?" Doris asked.
"They can help you find your way around the city. Just think about where, or what kind of place you want to go, and the watches will guide you there. If you want to know more about the place, just ask the watch to tell you more about it in my voice. They also double as city passes. They'll give you access to anywhere in MegaCity. (to Aarondroid) Let's roll."
As the boy and his girlfriend rode off on his robot the rest of the girls split up and went off to explore the city.
We see couple with rhyming names just arrived on Aarondroid to a big house in a suburban area.
They got off the robot and walked up to the house.
The house was where Aaron used to live with his mom, younger sisters, and brother.
As the three approached the door, Aaron said, "Okay, K, this is it. You ready?"
"*breathes* Yep."
Aaron held her hand and unlocked the door.
The door doesn't have a knob or keyhole. This being the town ahead of its time, the door has a scanner and needs a thumbprint.
Aaron unlocked the door and it opened inwards. The three then went inside.
They made their way to the living room where they saw two toddlers, a boy and a girl, playing with blocks with the T.V. on.
The five-year-old boy was the same skin tone and hair color as Elsie, has on a grey and white striped shirt, black shorts, and sandals.
The four-year-old girl is the same skin tone and hair color as Aaron, her hair's in a bun, and she has on a pink dress with flowers and some white shoes.
These are Aaron's younger siblings, Derick Michael, or D. Mike, D. Michael, or Derick if you prefer, and Kelsey.
"Hey you, two." Aaron said.
"Hey, Aaron." They both said casually, still building with the blocks.
Aaron said to Karen, "This is D. Michael and Kelsey. They're always like this. When they're busy doing something, the best thing to do is not interrupt what they're doing. D. Michael will flip out and cause tantrums. Kelsey's alright though, she's the easiest to get along with."
"He throws tantrums?"
"Over the smallest things. He yells, throws, hits, everything. When something doesn't go his way, he'll act out. My mom found out he was autistic, which means this is normal."
"Ah."
"When he does throw a tantrum, it best to stay out of it and away."
As if on cue, the tower of blocks fell over, causing the boy to act out, and making Kelsey run to and cling behind Aaron.
"Like now. Let's go see my other sister. Aarondroid, try to calm him down."
"Affirmative."
Aaron, Karen, and Kelsey went upstairs, while Aarondroid went to D. Michael to try to calm him down.
Let's change the scene to one of the other girls. Well, three.
At the Gaming Hub, we see enter Diana, Doris, Leslie, and Carol.
From the entrance, it looked like a mall. The place had three floors and every area was a place where you could play a game.
"Watch, tell us more about this Gaming Hub." said Diana.
"The Gaming Hub is a place where you can play any game you can think of. There should be a map in front of you that can direct you around the Hub."
They looked and there was a holographic map in front of them that showed where everything in the Hub was.
Diana saw the sports section of the hub and she and Doris ran their way to it.
Leslie went in the other direction to the arcade section. She was in the mood to cause some mischief and post it online.
Carol just started walking around. Why was she here? She was find something to do. After the talk with Aaron, she decided to get her mind off Hal.
A bit later, she's on the second floor looking around, when suddenly a girl and her Flyer bot sped past her and made her fumble towards the stairs. She yelped as she was about to fall down them, when suddenly a hand grabbed her arm and stopped her from going over.
She looked at her savior who said, "Whoa, are you okay?"
He was a boy with spiky blonde hair with a red sweater jacket, a white T-shirt underneath, some jeans, and a pair of black shoes.
This is one of Aaron's friends, Zachary Ross. Zach for short.
When Carol saw him, she said as she was pulled back onto her feet, "Uh...yeah."
"You must be new around here. Welcome to MegaCity. I'm Zach. You are?"
"Uh, Carol. *moves hair behind ear* Carol Ferris."
Carol didn't notice it, but her cheeks are the same color as her Lantern ring.
"First time at the Gaming Hub? I can show you around if you want."
"...I'd like that."
Zach and Carol then went around the Gaming Hub. They were still holding hands. Zach didn't notice it, but Carol did.
She didn't want to ruin it though, so she kept quiet.
Let's change the scene again to the Carnelian Theater.
Inside, we see Zee and Jessica. The former in her magician outfit and Jess looking on the other side of the curtain. The theater was packed.
Makes sense. Today was All Star day. Meaning the most popular acts that've performed at the Carnelian Theater have come to perform.
"All set." Zee said, "When am I going on again?"
Jess turned to her and said, "After someone named Angel. Who do you think that is?"
"Did someone call?"
They both looked to see a girl come their way.
She was white skinned, had long light brown hair, and was wearing a silver short strapless dress, and heels.
This was another one of Aaron's friends. Her name's Angel Whiteberry.
"Angel ain't just my name, you know. Pleased to meet you. New in town?"
"Mhm." Jess said, "Our friend invited us to stay at MegaCity for a week. I'm Jessica and this is Zee."
"Zee Zatara. As in magician Zee Zatara. So, what's your act?"
"You'll see."
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage the girl we all know and love, Angel Whiteberry!"
To the two's surprise, the crowd clapped and cheered as Angel made her way on the mic on the center of the stage as the music started.

The spotlights started flashing as Angel kept singing.

Angel's singing and and dancing on stage were impressive. However, this was the just the start of her performance.
"I sing and people line up

The theater's house lights started to go off, making Angel the only thing people pay attention to in the theater.
Someone on the side threw her a cane for her to dance with.
"One, two, three, and four.
I'll knock your socks off honey leave your begging for more.
And then five, six, seven, eight.
I'm like a dancing diva so get out of my way.
And I will take it from here

The spotlights flashed some more as the curtains behind Angel rose. The lights were off, not showing what was behind her.
When Angel stopped singing and dancing, all the lights in theater went out.
Then all that was heard was Angel's voice.
"Baby, I am going places.
You will see, just you wait.
I was born to entertain them."
A single light shined down showing Angel on a wide set of lit stairs. When she sung,
"Feels so good

As the music kept playing, the entire crowd cheered for Angel and the dancers as they all bowed.
Zee and Jess were awestruck. This girl was amazing and knew just how to take the audience by storm.

We see Angel and the dancers came back behind the curtain. Angel came up to Zee and Jessica. The former saying, "That was phenomenal! You really know how to put on a show."
"*giggles a bit* Thank you. My dad always said I was born to perform."
"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to welcome a new act to the Carnelian Theater. Please give a big welcome to Zee Zatara."
"You're on, Zee."
"Good luck out there." Angel said before walking away.
"Well, here I go."
She then went to go perform.
We're not gonna watch it though because we're changing the scene back to Aaron's old house.
We see Aaron open a door into a bedroom where a girl was sitting on her bed, playing on her laptop.
The twelve-year-old girl was the same skin and hair color as Aaron, her long hair's in a ponytail, she has on a white shirt with a green clover on it, some jeans, and a gold necklace and charm bracelet. She's not wearing her shoes right now, just some white socks.
This girl's Aarielle, Aaron's first younger sister.
She didn't notice them come in, so Aaron did something any big brother would do.
He closed the laptop.
"HEY!" she said. Then, she noticed Aaron and Karen.
"Oh hey! You're here." She and Aaron hugged. She noticed Karen and asked, "Who's this?"
"Aarielle, this is my girlfriend, Karen. Karen, this is my sister, Aarielle."
Aarielle gave Aaron a look making him say, "She's not like the others, relax. I've been with her since some time in February."
"Oh, that's longer than your exes have been with you. (to Karen) Most of them were only with him for about one, two, or three weeks."
"Moving on, is Mom around?"
"You just missed her. She left about a while ago. She was called to work."
"*sigh* What was it this time?"
"*hums 'I don't know'* They just said it was an emergency. Hope it's nothing too serious."
"I'm sure it's nothing." Aaron said.
We'll come back to them in a bit.
Let's check up an Barbra who was going down the sidewalk looking at everything in awe. This city was everything Aaron said it would be like and more. It was like she stepped into the future or something.
She would hang out with Harleen right now, but she went with Kara to Bite in the Sky.
She moved the device that Aaron gave her up to her mouth and said, "Hey watch, I'm wanna see something that will really surprise me. Whatcha got?"
"You're in luck, Barbra. There's something that only you and the rest of the team can know about. Follow the directions carefully."
Babs the followed the watch in the direction it was pointing to.
A bit later...
We see Barbra enter a right double door.
"Whoa."
The place was a stage in front of an audience. The wall behind the stage was blue with star patterns on it. At the top of the stage was a sign that read,
Fifteen Minutes with Fei
Babs was full of wonder. She went to a seat as a tune started and people cheered as a girl came onstage. Two large screens were on the side of the sign.
She's Chinese, has long hair, a black skirt, some flats, a red shirt under a grey jacket with gold where silver's should to be.
This is Fei Zhang, another one of Aaron's friends.
Said girl said into the earpiece she had on, "Welcome back to 'Fifteen Minutes with Fei'. Where exceptional people come to show off their hidden talents. So today, we're here with today's guest who calls himself, Pied Piper."
A boy that was a year or two younger than Fei was came on stage with a wooden pipe in his hand.
"Welcome to my show, Piper. Show us what you're made of." "Okay, but first, I'll need a volunteer."
Many people from the audience rose their hands up.
"Hmm...You, with the hoodie."
"Woohoo!"
Babs was the one that was chosen by Fei as she made her way on the stage.
"Now, show us what you're made of."
Piper licked his lips then played his pipe. Babs' body started moving on it's own. A second later she started dancing without control, taking her by surprise.
After a bit, he stopped playing allowing Babs to have a break.
The crowd erupted with cheers.
"Now that's something you don't see everyday. You were amazing, Piper. Come with me."
That made the crowd cheer even more. That meant he was getting a prize.
"(to Barbra)Oh, and you too."
She was confused at first, but she went with it as the crowd cheered them off.
Backstage, we see the three of them approach an elevator. Fei said after turning off her earpiece, "Go through there and down there will be a surprise for you."
Piper went into the elevator.
After it closed, Fei turned to Barbra and said smething that caught her off guard. I'm
"So how are you enjoying MegaCity, Batgirl?"
"W-What?! How did you-?!" "I know a hero when I see one."
*Ding*
The elevator came back up and opened.
"Go in. It'll explain everything."
Babs went in, still looking at Fei with wide eyes, even as the elevator closed, which Fei said at that point. "You'll need to suit up before you get down there."
She immediately said to her watch before changing, "How did she know?!"
"Didn't you hear her? She knows a hero when she sees one. How, you ask? The answer's what lies below. The show's just a cover. The real work's down here."
As the elevator opened,
"Welcome to Hidden Heroes."
Bats looked in surprise.
The whole place was full of people around Piper's age. Not just regular people, they were, how can I explain it?
Let's review: There were two of them floating by and over her, a girl that had one hand growing larger than the other, and a boy was wearing some shoes that allowed him to walk on the walls.
I guess the word I'm looking for is...'super'.
"Wow...What is this place?" she said as she started walking around.
"Techno created this place two months before leaving for Metropolis. He knew that he had to grow up at some point, so he created a place where he could find younger people with special abilities to become the next generation of heroes."
She was listening while looking through a room's window.
On the other side was a boy at a desk. On a desk was a glass of water. He rose his palm and in the glass formed a mini waterspout.
Batgirl said as she kept walking down the hallway. "Okay, but how did he find the ones with the superpowers? That would track a lot of attention for everyone watching the show."
"They didn't know they had powers until after the show. There's always a way to find hidden talents if you know where to look."
Batgirl was looking through another window and and on the other side was a girl that was blindfolded and holding a bow and arrow.
She shot it and it went right through a target. She held out her hand and she controlled the arrow in the air and through the other targets. After she grabbed it in the air, half an inch from her head, she took her blindfold off smiling.
She kept walking as she said, "I didn't know Techno could do something like this."
"He had a superhero team. There's a lot of things you don't know about him."
Bats stopped in her tracks.
"TECHNO HAD A SUPERHERO TEAM?!"
"Hey, not so loud! Some of us have sensitive ears!" A girl said, walking by Batgirl.
"Sorry." Batgirl turned back to the watch and repeated, "(whispered tone) Techno had a superhero team?!"
"Look up."
She looked at the wall in front of her and on it was a circle split into four different colored quarters, neon green, red, dark purple, and light blue.
The same color of the stripes going along the walls.
Sorry for not mentioning that earlier.
In that order, each quarter had a picture on it: a power button symbol, a bomb, a ninja sai, and a star.
"Techno worked with three other heroes: Dynamo, Sai, and Greatess. They called themselves the Unbreakables."
"Are they still in MegaCity?! Please tell me they're still in MegaCity!"
"They're still in MegaCity."
After cheering she said, "Do you know who they are?!"
"Sorry, but that'd be giving out any private information to anyone could be listening.
"Aw..."
"In the meantime, you can explore Hidden Heroes and get to know our future crusaders."
"Ooh, don't mind if I do."
You know, let's check up on Pam and see how she's doing.
She's in MegaCity Central Park with Phil, completely amazed by everything.
Being able to understand plants and feel what they're feeling, she's feeling beyond happy. Not one plant was crying in pain or for help, not one was in trouble, and there was no trace or form of pollution anywhere.
The plants were at peace and Pamela was happy about it.
There was a great big tree in the middle of the park that Pam sat down by, listening to the sounds around her.
At one point, she said, "I'm glad that there's at least somewhere on this planet with people that care."
It was then that she heard the tree say something to her that caught her attention.
"Wait, they didn't always live this way?"
Then the tree told her the how the people of MegaCity started caring about the environment.
Story time!
This city was created by a corrupt family that cared only for power.
The rules were absurd. They were told that they had to follow the laws of their city or else they'd be banned.
From the pollution caused by the factories to make everything in this city, and the machines they used to tear us apart for resources, the MegaCity was becoming harder and more difficult to live in.
No one could leave easily either. They didn't know until after they came.
Everyone was completely miserable.
That was until a little boy decided to take a stand.
Smart and brave for a young soul.
He got everyone in the city to rise up and rebel against the corrupt family. They were no longer the rulers.
It wasn't long until the boy that started this, got everyone to change the way they lived.
He started by planting me in the soil. He told that I would be a symbol that we should care about everyone we come across.
Then, throughout the next five years, everything in the city became the way you see it now.
It was all thanks to that little boy. For if it wasn't for him and his heart and mind, I nor everyone else in MegaCity would have seen how MegaCity could turn out for the better.

Pam was bewildered.
Aaron told her about how MegaCity became the way it was today, but didn't think it was completely true.
He even left out who helped improve MegaCity in the first place.
Luckily, he gave her his phone number. She thought she wouldn't have a use for it, but now she did.
She called Aaron and he answered, "Hey Pamela."
"Aaron, who was the boy that made MegaCity a better place to live?"
"Huh?"
"The story you told me! Who was the ten-year-old?"
"Oh, that. That was me."
"What?!"
"Yeah, funny story: I lived in MegaCity most of my life and everything was completely messed up, so at nine, I vowed to do something about it. A year later, I got everyone in town to help set us free.
After we were set free, I help make our town and living conditions way better than how they were before, like convincing them to make the world a better place. That took forever to get them to listen."
"But...why?"
"I made an oath, to help those that can't help themselves. We're all on this planet together. Is there anything else?"
"Uh, no. Bye."
After she hang up, she was bewildered again.
She thought Techno was amazing, but Aaron's starting to be a close second.
Wait, then she thought of something else.

"What did Pamela want?" "She just asked me about something."
We see Aaron and Karen again on Aarondroid, riding to the Mecha Inc. buildings.
They left the house a while ago and they were off to meet Aaron's dad.
They got off the robot and it and Karen followed Aaron to the company's right building. When the doors slid open, Karen looked around in awe.
The whole place was filled with people in lab coats leading plain model robots[bots that didn't look like anyone at all/in particular] around to different areas. Each areas was where they tested new things about the models.
"You may have noticed that this building is the robotics lab. Here we test things that the robots in MegaCity so the factory in the other building can use the features here to add new things to the robots." "Whoa." was all she could say.
Karen and Aarondroid followed Aaron across the room.
"Why didn't you tell me that your dad owned a big company?" "I don't tell these things to people I date because I want them to see me for me. Glad I didn't. The last thing I want is a gold digger for a girlfriend. I'm glad to know that you're not like the others."
The three of them made it to a big, round, glass elevator at the other side of the room.
They went in and Aaron pressed the top button. The elevator closed and went upwards.
When they reached the top floor, they walked down a long hallway. There were intersections that led into two other hallways in the middle of the hall.
To the left was a huge empty storage room that could fit the entire town inside that no one ever uses anymore, and to the right was where all the data on every robot in MegaCity on a big computer.
At the end of it was a double door that had a hand scanner by it. Aaron pressed his hand against it, and a computer voice said, "Identification confirmed."
When the doors opened, on the other side was a huge office with a seat and desk in the middle in front of a big window. At it was a dark skinned man in a suit with a beard writing some papers. Say hello to William Palmer, Aaron's-
"Yo, Dad!" "*looks up from paperwork* Aaron! You're back!"
Aaron went over, around the desk, and gave his dad a hug.
"Sorry to come over while you're working, we just came over to see you."
William noticed the girl that was standing next to Aarondroid as they came in front of the desk and said, "Who's this?"
Aaron went next to them and said, "This is the first and only girlfriend that's been with me through thick and thin, which I'm grateful for." Karen blushed at that. "Dad, this is Karen." "Hi." she said nervously.
"Nice to meet you." William replied with a smile, "Happy to see my son finally has someone that really cares about him."
"Dad, we're back!"
Everyone looked to see the doors open and two people walk through: a boy and a girl.
The girl had the same skin tone and hair color as Aaron, and had her hair in a ponytail, a black shirt, some jeans and some shoes to go with it. She's Aaron's older sister, Daira.
The boy had skin that was slightly lighter than Aaron's, dark brown hair, a jacket over a white shirt with two stripes going across it, some black pants, and red sneakers. This is Aaron's older brother, and oldest out of the three, Adarrion J. Palmer, or A.J. for short.
The second Daira saw Aaron she gasped, ran up and gave Aaron a big hug. "You could've told us you were in MegaCity!"
"Where's the surprise in that?" he said before she let him go. A.J. came over and they hugged also. "Been a while, man." "I know. Nice to see you two again."
"And who is this?" Diara said, going up to Karen.
"The only girl to have been by my side forever, which is one of the best things about her." "*blushes, laughs, and smiles*Okay, stop it!" "This is Karen Beecher."
"She's cute." Diara said, making Karen blush and rub her arm.
"I know, that's another one of the reasons I love her."
"*covers blushing face* Aaron, stop!"
Everyone but Karen laughed at that.
However this good moment had to be interrupted.
*CRASH!*
That noise alarmed everyone in the room and made them look out the room's window. Down at the ground was a big figure made completely out of scrap metal with two glowing yellow lights for eyes rampaging around. This was one of Techno's many ex-villains.
"It's Scrapcreep!" A.J. said.
"Man, it's been forever since I saw him." said Aaron.
He looked at Karen who was about to take her amulet out, but Aaron gestured her not to. Instead, he said to his family, "I'm gonna go to the bottom floor and get everyone situated, I've done it before. Karen, Aarondroid, you coming?"
"Uh, sure." "Affirmative."
"Nice seeing you, Aaron." said his dad as they left.
When the elevator closed, Aaron said, "K, you can't go into hero mode around my family."
"I thought you said they knew who you were?"
"No, I said my mom knew who I was. The rest of my family doesn't know, we agreed to tell them when the time was right. They also don't know that I became friends with you girls through hero stuff, so I'd appreciate it if you and the others don't tell any of them. Please?"
"Okay."
You know, let's check up on Carol and Zach.
Right now, they're in the Gaming Hub's food court, talking to each other. Well, Zach was talking, Carol was just listening to what he was saying.
"...the worst part was that everyone thought it was me! Oh, just because of the incident in the science room, I'm suddenly the one who blew up the principal's car? Man, I'm glad Aaron cleared that up for me, or I would've been expelled."
The mention of that double A name snapped Carol back into reality, "Wait, say that name again?" "Aaron. Why?"
Before Carol could say anything, they heard the T.V.s in the room, which were all on the news channel.
"That's right folks, the villain known as Scrapcreep is back and it looks like he's in the mood to- Wait is that?"
On the screen, in came Techno who punched the monster made of scrap metal in the face, sending it flying.
"I'm back in Megacity for the week, and this is the welcome wagon I get?"
"What?!" said Zach and Carol, both surprised, yet the latter a bit annoyed.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you can see this! The Smart Spark is back! Techno is back in MegaCity!"
"...Angel and Fei are not gonna believe this!" Zach got up. Before he left though, a grabbed a napkin and wrote down his phone number on it and gave it to Carol.
"Nicemeetingyougottagobye!" He said before running away.
Carol would be confused, if she wasn't lovestruck right now. She got a new crush and she's hugging the phone number against her heart.
"Angel! What're you doing right now?!"
"I'm at the Carnelian Theater, why?" she said as Zee and Jessica came back backstage after the former's act. They walked into Angel's phone call.
"Check out the news! Now!"
Confused and curious by Zach's words, she put on the news app on her phone and she saw the news from earlier.
"He's back?!" "He's back!"
Whoops, forgot to say the call was still going, my bad.
"Angel, call Fei! If we hurry, we can get a piece of the action before he finishes it himself!"
"Alright, see you there!"
Angel then sped to the door while Jessica and Zee looked baffled.
While she ran, she called Fei and said into her phone, "Fei, end the show, get your weapons, and get your suit on! Listen to this!"
Let's cut to Techno and Bumblebee fighting Scrapcreep.
Said villain was flung into a wall causing him to break apart into pieces.
"We did it!" "Don't speak too soon, Honey."
The scrap metal formed back into Scrapcreep's regular form and he roared before he raised his fists and slammed them towards the heroes. They moved out of the way in time, so don't worry.
"Glad to know I'm not as rusty as he is." Tech said before countering another swing from the villain with his own fist, "Hey big guy! Check this out!"
In his palm were now three yellow Ultra Discs. He threw them at Scrapcreep. When they were just about from his face, Techno snapped his fingers and the kinetic pulse blew parts of his face off.
Bumblebee was shrunken down and she was flying around Scrapcreep.
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N., Techno's fought this thing before, right? Does it have a weakness?"
"THERE IS ONE: HE HAS A PIECE IN HIM THAT ACTS LIKE A HEART. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO COLLECT IT, AND THAT IS TO GET IT BEFORE SCRAPCREEP BECOMES WHOLE AGAIN. ONCE YOU HAVE IT, THERE'S A SWITCH ON IT THAT YOU MUST TURN OFF."
"Got it!"
She was trying to distract the monster made of junk with her stingers, but he barely felt it. Instead, she got swatted away, making Techno catch her when she was in normal size.
Another hit was about to come, but the second Scrapcreep raised his fist-
*SHING!*
Something sharp sliced Scrapcreep's arm right off!
"Whoa." said Bumblebee.
"...There's only one person I know that can make a cut that clean."
In the blink of an eye, another slice was given to the monster's right leg, making it fall over.
"How have you been, Techno?"
After looking to her right, Karen yelped at the sight of a girl who appeared out of nowhere.
It was Fei, but like this she was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, light sandals, black mask on the lower half of her face, and a purple belt tied around her waist. Her hair was in a ponytail, and on both sides of her waist were dual sai. If you couldn't tell from the getup, she's a ninja.
"I've actually been great, Sai. You?" Tech said as the three of them prepared themselves as Scrapcreep reformed itself.
Yep, this was Sai, one of Techno's former teammates. She also goes by the Girl in the Shadows if you don't mind. She's agile, nimble, and can be really quiet when she wants to. Say something bad about her, and she'll be standing right behind you to beat some sense into you and you won't even notice until afterwards.
In Sai's hands were, well, her sai. The reason she had them out was because she had to slice away parts of scrap that were being flung at them by Scrapcreep.
Then suddenly just before a bunch of scrap came, there was a flash of teal light, and the heroes were gone. They reappeared in a flash of white light at the end of the street.
"What was that?!" Bumblebee went.
"Something I like to call, a part of my star act."
The three looked to see another one of Techno's ex-teammates.
It was Angel, but like this, she was wearing a galaxy bodysuit and her hair was black but dyed teal at the tips. She had no mask, but instead her eyes were glowing teal. This was the second to join the Unbreakables, the mystical girl herself-
"Greatess, nice to see you!" "It's nice to see you too, Techno."
Like he said, this was Greatess. Name given to her because she had powers that she called the greatest. They came from a glowing multicolored four-pointed star, and now, she can do almost anything. He's a fun fact, the hair and eyes change color depending on what kind of powers she's using. For example: teal means teleportation.
Speaking of which, Greatess' teal was replaced with green. At that moment, the scrap from the metal monster itself had green auras and were reshaped into a huge mallet. Green means construction and creation.
"Sorry, Scrapcreep, but I'd like to hammer a point home."
The mallet came in and with a swift and hard swing, it smacked Scrapcreep in down the opposite side of the street.
"Nice one, Greatess." "Oh, it was nothing."
"Techno, who are-" "Hold that thought, Bumbles. (to his teammates) Where's-"
Suddenly, a Rubik's cube with only the colors red and black came flying in and landed next to Scrapcreep. The monster picked it up and looked at it. The cube then solved itself, and when the colors were in the right places,
*BOOM!*
it exploded right in his face!
Before she asked, Techno interrupted his girlfriend saying, "No, it's not Harley Quinn."
Landing next to the five heroes, was the last member of the Unbreakables.
It was Zach, but like this he was wearing a red top under a black bombproof vest, black pants and a black utility belt with a red and yellow explosion decal for the buckle, and some black shoes with red soles. On his back was a black Bō staff with two red stripes at each end. On his face was a black domino mask. This was the dynamite guy himself, the first to ever work with Techno out in the field, please welcome-
"Dynamo!" "Tech!"
The two then did this secret handshake [you can imagine your own] and ended with a bro hug.
Yes sir, this was Dynamo, the only known superhero to ever use bombs and explosions for the greater good. He can get a little carried away sometimes, but the entire time he's been Dynamo, there's been no casualties. Ask anyone if you don't believe me.
"Techno, who's-" "In a sec, Bumblebee. (to former teammates) How do you guys want to do this?"
"Why not the same thing we always do to beat him?"
"Sai, I can never tell if you're sarcastic or not when you're in your suit. Yet, I say we go with that. Any objections?"
All minus Bumblebee shook their heads.
"Well, what the glitch are we waiting for? Let's do this!"
"Te-" Bumblebee stopped when the four heroes ran off towards the hero.
Off-screen, you could hear a lot of beating, explosions, slices, and other noises.
After a bit, the Unbreakables were standing triumphantly on a pile of scrap metal and in Techno's hand was a metal cube with an antenna and a power switch in the 'off' position.
As people started coming out of hiding to cheer and applaud for the hero team, the four of them did a four-way high five like they always used to when they got the job done.
"It's been a while since we worked together." Said Techno.
Before he could speak any further, Bumblebee came over saying, "Techno! Who are these three?!"
"Oh, right, Bumbles, these are my former teammates: Dynamo," "'Sup."
"Greatess," "Hey."
"and Sai." She bowed.
"(to Bumblebee and the crowd) We're the Unbreakables!" The crowd cheered hearing that.
"Guys, this is Bumblebee, *goes up to her* she's my little honey bun." "Techno, don't you da- Mmm!"
He pulled her into a deep kiss. A deep one too. The riled up the crowd some more. As for Tech's team, they rolled their eyes. They saw Tech do something like this on a Metropolis news page, so they weren't surprised.
When they pulled apart, she was in a lovesick trance like in part eighty, saying, "You'd think I'd be used to that by now..."
Here's something I bet a bunch of you were asking about, let's checkup on Lex, Lena, and the dude they were with.
The three were in an unknown location.
Lena's in the living room, watching T.V.. Well, she's channel surfing. Lex was standing behind the couch, waiting for his new business partner to finish what he's doing.
When Lena was channel surfing, she groaned before saying, "There's nothing good on!"
That's when-
"Wait a minute! *takes remote*" "Hey!"
Lex went back two channels anto the news channel which showed today's news.
"*grits teeth and yells* Of course he's here! Why isn't Techno here!"
He threw the remote on the couch before walking through the archway that led out of the living room and into a lab of some kind where the other guy was. Lena rolled her eyes before grabbing the remote and going back to channel surfing.
"This thing better work, Maxwell."
Oh yeah, that's this guy's name: Maxwell Onyx.
He's at a table, using a soldering iron on something. He's making something and he's only using his left hand because...that's a surprise. His right hand's still in his hoodie pocket. He's also still wearing the sunglasses under the goggles.
He took off the goggles before saying with a smirk, "Sheesh, why so angry, Lex?"
"Why?! Because the one person that could ruin this whole thing is here in MegaCity!" "*still smirks* Who?" "Techno! If he finds out about what we're up to, we're done! You know I'm the one who gave you the money for this stuff, right? If he tears this plan of yours to shreads, you're paying me back every cent with interest!"
He laughed before responding, "Luthor, not even Techno can beat what we have in store."
He picked up what he was working on, which revealed to be a square red microchip.
"I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees what we've got planned."
Finally, I can do this.
Later, back at the penthouse...
We see Aaron and Aarondroid walk into the kitchen after coming from the elevator, the human with an exhausted look on his face.
Karen was in the kitchen already, putting a dish in the sink.
She saw his boyfriend's face, she asked, "I heard another voice, what happened? Who was it?"
"One of my exes, they found out I was in town."
"Which one?" "Natasha."
Three minutes later...
"I know you don't want to see me, I just have to say this: Aaron, what kind of moron gives away ten million dollars?"
"Do I want to know how you know that?"
"Why Aaron? Tell me."
You guys might need a little bit of lore.
Natasha was the kindest one in school and her family was having a tough time. Aaron and her started dating and everything was swell. That was until they bought lottery tickets just for fun because they knew there was no way they could win. Luck however, was on Aaron's side and he had won ten million dollars. His selflessness kicked in and he secretly switched tickets with her, and she was ecstatic when she had the winning ticket.
Have you ever heard the term, 'Money changes people'?
Yeah well, that's what happened. Natasha completely changed after she got rich. She changed her look, her attitude, and started spending less time with Aaron and spent more time with the people that only cared about her when she got rich. She broke up with Aaron in a harsh way and the two haven't spoken sense.
Now that the lore's out of the way...
Aarondroid came over and carried Natasha over his shoulder, the girl yelling at the bot telling it to put her down.
Aaron was walking his bot. He looked at his ex and said, "*sigh* Look, Nat, I felt bad that you and your family were having a hard time. When I won that lottery ticket, I decided to give it to you. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want you to feel like you owed me something. I didn't regret it, but after the way you changed the day after, I started to."
You could tell from the tears starting to form in Natasha's eyes that she was feeling guilt and regret.
They made it to the elevator where Aarondroid put Natasha on her feet inside it.
"The worst thing about this was how you broke up with me. I made you that necklace on our first date, and you took it off and stomped on it in front of everyone in school. You used to be the kindest girl in school with nothing left to lose, but the second you got rich,...Just get out and go home, Nat."
The elevator closed as Aaron turned and walked back to his room.
That was until he heard the elevator open back up, and turned to see Natasha with her head down.
"*sigh* What now? Something else you wanna say?"
"..."
"Well?"
"...Sorry..."
"Come again?"
"I'm sorry..."
"'Sorry'? You really think that's gonna cut it?"
"Aaron-"
"You know how many things you did back when we were dating? You'd always flake out on me and then just say 'sorry' as if it was nothing! Don't expect me to just forgive you after everything!"
She said raising her head, showing her tears, "I really am! I mean it!"
"How do I know you really mean it? You always said sorry and not too long after, you brush it off! My trust in you is GONE!"
"I-I'll make it up to you!"
"You had a chance- No, a thousand chances to do that, and you didn't take them! *sigh* Why am I even still talking to you? Don't come near me again! I already have someone new!"
He closed the elevator. It was about to open back up, but discreetly, Aaron used his powers to keep it closed.
She then quit trying after a few seconds and just slid to the floor. She knew that there was no way she could fix this.
Present time...
Karen kissed her boyfriend's cheek and said, "It'll be okay, Aaron." He smiled at her girlfriend's words.
"Thanks, K. A.D., we gotta get dinner ready. Everyone'll be back in about two hours so-"
"Aaron, we're back!" said Babs' voice, coming from the elevator.
"Make that two seconds." The three of them walked out of the kitchen and towards the living room.
Everyone had satisfied looks on their faces as they came out of the elevator, well minus Doris, Leslie, Carol and Pamela.
The first two had annoyed looks because the Glitch King was in MegaCity and they were hoping to get a break from him and do what they wanted, Carol was still bitten by the love bug and was still holding Zach's phone number, and Pamela was looking at Aaron with a look.
She said to him, "We need to talk." "Uh, sure, but after dinner."
If there's something that Aaron wasn't exactly fond of, it was questions that started with 'We need to talk' because it's never anything good. It's never followed by something cool like,
'I think your amazing and I wanna give you a billion dollars!'
Sometimes it's followed by something bad like a wife saying to her husband,
'I've been to the doctor and I think you should too. I'm pregnant, it's not yours.'
Anyway, Pam countered saying, "Why not now?" "We got guests over."
He gestured over to the couch where Zach, Fei, and Angel, who was in her everyday outfit[you can imagine what she could be wearing, DoubleA's feeling lazy, were sitting, watching T.V..
"Guys, these are my friends: Zach," "Hey." "Angel," "Hi." "and Fei." "Hello."
Carol walked to Aaron pulled him to the side and asked him a few questions. He answered, "Red, action movies, and nachos. I have this guacamole and salsa recipe that he always likes. I can give it to you if you want."
Carol already had a pen and pad of paper.
Dinner was alright.
Everyone was talking about their day. For example: Selina had some new jewels, which looked really familiar from Aaron's perspective, Doris was ranting on about how everyone at the Gaming Hub lost to her in the sports section, and Zee was happy to say that that her performance at the Carnelian Theater was unforgetful.
After that, Aaron's friends left. Carol really wanted Zach to stay longer, but he told her maybe some other time.
Aaron's first six female friends pulled him to the side and asking about how he didn't tell them about him having a superhero team. He responded saying that they didn't ask.
Right now, it's nighttime and Aaron's in his sleepwear walking into Pam's room. She was also in her sleepwear and was sitting on her bed.
"I'm here. What's the matter?"
"Close the door."
Aaron rolled his eyes and closed the door.
"What's up?"
"'What's up'? What's up with you?!"
"Uh...?" "*gets up from bed* You saved this entire town from some evil family, *starts walking to Aaron* you made this town a better place to live, and you're acting like it's no big deal! What is with you?! What's with this town?! The whole time you've been here, not one person looked at you like you were a hero! *stops in front of him* What. Is. The. Deal?!"
"Oh, is that all? Well, not everyone right now is from MegaCity. After we were all free, ninety-eight percent of the town left because they finally could. People started moving here after everything changed."
"Okay, but that doesn't explain how on Earth people don't see you as a hero or celebrity."
"That's because that was five years ago. The remaining two percent that stayed in town likely forgot. I didn't tell anyone because I wanted to be seen as a normal person, not a guy that stood up because everyone else was too afraid to. There's a lot of things these people don't know, like how I have a C.E.O. and a Mayor for parents and that they're both divorced."
"Well, why'd you tell us?"
"Because even though I know how you all can be, you guys have known me long enough to get my trust. Well, some of you."
After Aaron left, Pam was left with a lot to think about. One thing she couldn't argue about was that Aaron was a lot different than anyone else she's ever met.
Speaking of said boy, he just laid down in is bed. Not surprisingly, Karen was laying on him like last night.
She was a little at ease this time. She could get used to this.
The next day...
On the living room couch, we see Barbra talking to her secretly heroine friends about Hidden Heroes. The rest of the girls were still eating breakfast and Aaron and Aarondroid were doing the dishes.
Suddenly, a *ding* was heard and everyone in the living room looked to see that it was Aaron's mom who came in.
"Good morning, Ms. Palmer." greeted Diana.
"Is everything okay?" said Jessica. She noticed the panicked look on her face.
"I need to speak with my son." she said.
"He's in the kitchen." said Karen.
"Thank you." The mayor then walked into the kitchen.
Barbra spoke up, "I hope everything's okay." "(whisper tone)Shh! Eavesdropping!"
Kara was using her super hearing to hear what Aaron and his mother were talking about.
"Hey, mom, what can I do for you?" "We have an emergency. (whisper tone)Chaos escaped!"
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE ESCAPED?!"
That alarmed everyone in the penthouse and made Kara cover her ears.
Everyone in the penthouse snuck their way to the kitchen and was eavesdropping from the doorway. They saw Elsie covering his son's mouth.
"I mean he broke out from his cell." "*removes Elsie's hand*How on EARTH did he get out?! We made that cell thirty miles below ground, equipped it with the best security systems, and you expect me to believe that he bypassed that and energy shield surrounding everything?!" "We don't know how he did it, but he did. Now he's somewhere loose in MegaCity." "Great, just great. When did he get out?" "Four days ago." "*sigh* Typical. I came to MegaCity to show my friends around, and only when I come to visit, enemy number one on Techno's list comes out to cause havoc."
"Wait, what?!"
"Leslie!/Babs!"
Mother and son looked and saw the girls all looking from the doorway. They looked at each other then Aaron sighed before saying to the twelve of them, "Okay, everyone in the living room."
Everyone was sitting on the couch, some sitting on the floor, with Aaron and Elsie standing in front of them.
The son spoke up saying, "I'm sure you all have a lot of questions-"
"Yeah, who's Chaos?" Babs interrupted. "Why is he Tech's number one enemy?" Leslie followed. "Is he someone we should be concerned about?" asked Karen.
"To your question K, yes, yes he is. To your question Babs, he's the first supervillain to appear in MegaCity. Imagine a guy around our age with dark hair, red eyes, a scar over one of them, and a black cybernetic arm."
"Cybernetic arm?" asked Selina.
"He lost his right arm trying to kill me."
"WHAT?!" asked his friends.
"You want the long version, or the short version?"
"Uh, short version?" asked Jess.
"Okay, when I was twelve, I was working on the power core for the Mecha Corp. buildings. It's made from a power source I made myself. A guy named- I forgot his name. What I do remember was that he wanted revenge on me for leading everyone to take down his corrupt family in charge of MegaCity, that's a story for another time, and he had a knife in hand and was about to stab me, but I moved out of the way in time and it hit the control panel for the core. The systems were messed up and the core exploded sending the energy everywhere. The last thing I remember seeing was him headfirst in the wall and the knife lodged into his right arm before blacking out. He was out for murder when he knew I was alive. Let me tell ya, if it were not for Techno, I may not have seen the light of day again."
Well, now the girls were speechless. Babs was in thought though. She had a feeling that there was more to the story than Aaron was telling for the sake of his hero self. She was hoping it had to do with his origin story.
"In less than a week, Chaos was doing anything he could to get rid of me, yet Techno was beating him to the punch every time."
"Sounds familiar." Leslie said rolling her eyes.
"He started turning his attention to me and Tech since a certain plan of his went up in smoke. He did anything he could to get what he wanted. Things also don't exactly...end well for those who work for him. From the time he showed up to the time he was locked up, seventy-eight people went 'missing' since they went working for Chaos."
Any partner ship ideas that the secret villains had with Chaos were gone when they heard that.
"That Leslie is how he's at the top of Techno's villain list."
"We need everyone to be on high alert. No one knows what Chaos has planned." said Elsie.
"Does this mean we can't go out? I have to meet Zach today!" "And I gotta get to Bite in the Sky! There's an entire mile long dessert buffet today with my name on it!"
"Carol, Kara, it's alright. We can still go out, it's just that...*looks at Elsie*"
"MegaCity's on lockdown. No one can leave or come into the town until we fix this mess. We don't want anyone panicking, so we can't tell anyone about this. Aaron's coming with me for the day. The rest of you can still enjoy your time here."
Everyone said okay as the son and mother left for the elevator.
Before they closed it, Aaron said, "Remember, high alert. If anything goes wrong, call me."
Then the elevator closed.
It's a bit later and we see the girls at Bite in the Sky. Not joining them was Zee, Doris, Pam, Carol, and Leslie.
Karen's sitting at a table, with a worried expression.
The worrying was due to two reasons. The first being that there was a next to insane villain with a robotic arm around town somewhere. The second being that he was out to get Aaron. She knows that he can handle anything, he even beat him before. She's just worried if he couldn't this time. No one knows what he has planned.
"Hello, Karen."
"AAH!" She yelped then looked to see that it was Fei who was sitting next to her. On the table in front of her was a large bowl of ice cream, a sundae, and two cupcakes. She's got a bit of a sweet tooth.
"Oh, hey Fei. I didn't hear you sit down." "It's a gift."
The Chinese girl noticed Karen's facial expression and asked before eating a cupcake, "Is everything okay?"
"Did Aaron tell you about...(whisper tone) Chaos?"
She nodded, still eating.
"I always hear from Aaron that everything'll be alright, but what if things go wrong this time? This guy scares me, I don't know what to do if something happens."
Fei, moving to her sundae, said, "You know who you're talking about right? Aaron has saved lives and stopped catastrophes countless times! He died only three times in his life, and he's still around today! You can trust that if something does go wrong, he won't stop until it's fixed."
This brought Karen's smile back. "Thank's Fei. I needed that."
This good mood was ruined due to a scoop of ice cream that came and almost hit Karen. Another one came and knocked Fei's sundae over. In a second, there were sweet treats flying everywhere.
Fei then knocked a table over to give them some cover.
"What's going on?!" Karen went.
Fei looked past the table and saw a staff robot whose stomach cavity was flinging sweets everywhere. You could tell something was wrong with it because the lights on it weren't green, they were red.
"A robot's going rouge! (to Karen) Call Aaron!"
Karen did so.
"Aaron, there's a robot blasting food everywhere at Bite in the Sky! We need you!" "The light's on the robot are red!"
"'Red'? That's impossible. The lights are every color but red. I'll be right over."
Let's check up on Pamela.
She's lying on the grass in front of the big tree in Central Park feeling good about herself and smiling. She left Phil at the penthouse.
She looked up at the sky and sighed.
At that moment, her attention was caught by a certain boy in green and black who blast jumped over the park.
When he went by, she heard the tree say, "There he goes again, our savior, off to save the day."
That made her sit up. That didn't add up.
Wasn't Aaron the one who saved MegaCity and everyone living there? Something doesn't make any sense.
Unless...
"*chuckles* No, nonononononono. He couldn't be, he couldn't be.
...Could he?"
She got up, and transformed into Poison Ivy and made her way after him.
Aaron just made it to Bite in the Sky.
In his normal appearance, he walked through the front door.
"Whoa."
He looked around and saw food splattered all over the place. On the walls, floor, tables, ceiling, even the people.
"Aaron!" Babs said as she and Harleen approached them.
"What on Earth happened here?" "You might want to take a look at this."
The two led Aaron to a messy, disheveled dessert buffet table. By the table were Diana and Kara who were holding the rampaging robot in place. On the side were Karen, Fei, Jessica, and Selina, who was getting crumbs out of her hair.
"So this is the robot."
Harleen then said, "All I asked for was a dozen ice cream nuggets. Then it started goin' crazy!"
"It's not your fault Harleen, at least I don't think so. The lights on the bots never go red. Something's going on."
"Well, can ya fix it?"
"Of course I can. I just need to check out the control panel and see what's up."
Aaron went up to the bot and pressed the button for the control panel, and it opened. That's when he noticed a suspect-looking red, square, inch by inch microchip.
Right when he was about to touch it, he was hit in the face by a slice of cake from the robot's stomach hatch. It broke free of Kara's and Diana's hold and started flying around shooting food everywhere. I forgot to mention it was a Flyer bot, my bad.
"We gotta shut it off!" Aaron said after wiping his face clean with a towel.
Many attempts were made, but no one could get the bot to stop. Babs and Harleen jumped on it, but got flung off into some cake. Selina and Fei did try to sneak up on it, but they were pelted with ice cream. Diana and Kara tried holding it in place again, but the bot swung it's arms around and threw them into a chocolate fountain.
Nothing was working. That was until the bot was suddenly pulled to the floor by something by it's feet. Not questioning it, Aaron took the chance to reach it's control panel and press the power button.
He sighed and wiped his face clean again. With him distracted, the vines that were holding the bot by its feet released it and went away.
With a clean face he looked at the microchip that was in the control panel. Said chip then vibrated then came out of the robot and landed on the floor.
"Weird." he said before going back to the robot.
As the girls came over to him, Aaron said, "Everything looks alright. I'm not sure what happened."
He reached to grab the microchip, but he didn't feel it. He looked and it wasn't there.
"Where'd it go?" he said looking around.
He was interrupted by another phone call. He picked up his phone and answered, "This is Aaron Palmer."
"Aaron! It's Zach! We got a robot on a rampage at the Gaming Hub! Get over here!"
"On my way.*hangs up* (to the girls) Zach needs a hand. There's a haywire robot at the Gaming Hub. Gotta go."
Aaron went out the door and made his way to the Gaming Hub. Little did he know, a red-haired supervillain was watching him from the side of the building.
He looked around, making sure no one was watching, and when he was sure he was in the clear, he glitched into his hero wear.
Right in front of Ivy eyes.
She went wide eyed and opened gaped as Techno used his wires and hooked onto a hover car that was flying by.
So many thoughts were going through Ivy's mind right now.
We see Zach looking around in the Gaming Hub.
"Where'd it go?"
At that moment, Aaron in his normal clothes came over.
"Zach, what's up?" "I came here to meet up with Carol, but suddenly a Roller bot started going around grabbing every piece of sports equipment in sight. There it is now!"
A Roller bot came over, with four extra arms all full of equipment, and took a boomerang from a boy.
Like before, the lights on it were red, just like the staff bot.
"Hey! Those are for Zach!"
They both looked to see Carol who was holding on to a pair of roller skates.
Aaron told her that Zach was a fan of skating.
She pulled with all her might, but the bot was stronger and he pulled the skates out of her hands, and Carol over it's shoulder.
"Put me down! Someone help me!"
The bot then rolled off with Carol and the gear.
"*whistles* Aarondroid!"
Five seconds later, Aaron's robot came rolling in. Aaron and Zach each held on to the side of Aarondroid and Aaron said, "After that robot, A.D.!" "Going after robot."
The three then sped after the rogue robot that was rolling off with Carol.
It took a bit, but now they just about caught up with it.
"Speed up, A.D.!"
Aarondroid sped up some more, and now they were right in front of them.
"We gotta slow them down!" "*looks ahead* I think I know how!"
Up ahead, Zach saw Doris, who was putting on a running drag chute while Leslie was on her phone. As they sped by, he snatched the chute from her. "Hey!"
Aarondroid moved closer and Zach put the drag chute harness around the robot. When Zach let go, the drag chute pulled on the bot, making it slow down to walking speed.
Aarondroid stopped and Aaron and Zach got off. The former went to the chest control panel, opened it, and shut the robot off. The latter caught Carol when she and the gear fell.
"Zach, you saved me!" "Oh, it's nothi-"
He was cut off when Carol kissed him on the cheek. "My hero." She giggled when she saw his blush.
"What's the deal, Aaron?!" Doris said as she and Leslie came over.
"Don't look at me." he responded as a red microchip fell out of the bot like last time. "And, there's another one of those chips."
He looked at the bots control panel and found nothing wrong.
"That's two total breakdowns in one day. Yet, nothing looks wrong."
He turned to look at the microchip, but it was gone, like the other one.
"You guys seen a red, square, inch by inch microchip somewhere?"
Everyone looked around. They didn't see it.
"It was just on the floor." "I'm sure it's around, Aaron." Zach said, letting Carol on her feet, "It's not like it grew legs and ran away."
Aaron then got another call on his phone. He answered, "Aaron Palmer."
"It's Angel! Help! My driver's gone haywire!" "Gotcha." Aaron made his way to the exit, everyone else following him.
When they were outside, Aaron said to Angel, "Where are you?"
"Duck!"
The group ducked to avoid the incoming hover limo. In the backseat were Zee and Angel.
"Angel, what happened?"
"Zee and I were getting in my limo so I could show her my house, and I told the driver bot to step on it! Now we're-"
Both Zee and Angel were heard screaming.
"We gotta stop that limo."
"How?" said Zach.
As if luck was on their side, a bus pulled up in front of them. The doors opened to reveal Fei was in the driver's seat. "Need a ride?"
The group got on the bus and sat down. By chance, Aaron sat down by Pamela.
"How'd you guys know we needed a hand?" "*avoids eye contact* Uh, heard it through the grapevine."
About that, she discreetly left a small sum of moss on his phone before he left Bite in the Sky. She could then use it to listen in on any calls it had. She then somehow convinced the others to follow Aaron to the Gaming Hub.
As for right now, Pamela couldn't look at Aaron for the time being. She was really nervous because when she looked at Aaron as he came on the bus, her mind made him appear as Techno for a split second.
Fei moved where she was sitting and Aarondroid took her spot.
"After that limo, A.D.! Step on it!" "Aarondroid, stepping on it."
The bus then flew after the performers in the limo, which was flying all over the place.
In the skyway, it almost caused wrecks. When they were out of the skyway, it went soaring along the buildings. It was going super fast and out of control.
When they were right by it, Aaron got up from his seat and made his way to the front of the bus.
"Get closer A.D., I need to see something."
Aarondroid nodded and moved the bus closer.
"Aaron, what are you-"
Kara was cut off when Aaron opened the doors and jumped from the bus to on top of the limo!
"Aaron, are you nuts?!"
Aaron responded to Karen's question by honestly shrugging his shoulders. Ace carefully crawled to the front to the limo and looked through the windshield. The driver bot's were red like the Roller bot and the staff bot.
The boy then reached into his bag and pulled out an antenna and stuck it on the limo. He then looked at Aarondroid and pointed down. Aarondroid flew the bus straight downwards and Aaron jumped off the limo after the bus. Midair, he made it to the bus door and got in as his robot drove it straight forward again.
Aaron reached into his bag again and pulled out a game controller and pressed the start button. He was now controlling the limo without using his powers.
"Take us to the ground, A.D.."
The sun's starting to go down and we see the bus and the controlled limo descending to the ground.
When they were at the ground, everyone got out of the vehicles.
"Don't you ever do something like that again!" "You know I can't promise that, Karen."
Zee and Angel came over to the group, fixing their hair.
"My driver's never done anything like that before." said Angel.
"No bot in MegaCity's done anything like that before." Aaron said as he approached the limo's driver window. He rolled it down with the controller and shut the bot off. When the microchip was about to pop out of the control panel, he caught it this time.
He went up to everyone saying, "That's three in one day. Every robot that went wrong had this chip in them. Something's up about them."
"You think Chaos had something to do with it?" "Maybe, Babs. *puts chip in pocket* That depends on what he has planned."
"People of MegaCity!"
That voice came from the many screens on the buildings and skyscrapers everywhere in town. Everyone looked at a screen where we see a chair at a desk, facing away from the screen. Behind it was a huge window with a view of the town.
"Sorry to say this but MegaCity will be under new management from now on."
"Anyone else thinks he sounds familiar?" Harleen said. Aaron then said, "If it's Lex, I swear..."
The chair turned around to reveal Lex Luthor.
"I'm Lex Luthor, and thanks to a little help, I'm in charge of this town."
"Dang it! *punches limo*" "Hey! Do you know how much that costs?!" "You can get it fixed, Angel!"
"Some of you might have noticed some technical issues with the robots here. Well, we may have done something that will make them do anything we tell them to. and if anyone-"
"Lex! Tell them to let me go!"
The camera turned to show Lena who was held by two security bots.
"*sighs* What did you do no- Hey!"
Two more bots came over and pulled Lex out of the chair and held him in place.
"Hey! Let me go! I'm in charge here!"
"Correction, I am."
The screen showed Maxwell come over and sit in the chair.
"Maxwell, what's this about?! We had a deal!"
"Keyword: 'had'. You thought this was about you? No no no, I don't work for other power hungry freaks."
He snapped his fingers on his left hand and the robots carried away Lex and Lena away.
Maxwell removed his hood, revealing his hair, took off his sunglasses, revealing his scar and red eyes, and pulled up his right sleeve revealing his robotic arm.
"Hi, MegaCity! It's Chaos! Did you miss me?"
Yep, it was Chaos.
Many gasps were heard around town from the people watching on the screens.
Karen clung onto Aaron as he glared at the screen.
"I'll cut to the chase. Every robot in MegaCity's under my control. Everyone of you will be captured until Aaron Palmer and Techno are brought to me. And if you even look like you know where they are, let's just say, I have ways of making people talk."
He rose his mechanical arm and the palm now had spikes and was sparking with electricity.
"See you soon!" The screens then shut off.
"...What is that noise?" Diana said.
*clang, clang, clang*
Everyone looked to the left. Coming this way was a fleet of Walker bots, coming down the street, lights all red.
"I think it's time to go." Fei said they were about to go the other way, but didn't because coming from the other side were a fleet of Roller bots.
"Get to the bus!" "*points up* I don't think that's a good idea, Selina."
Everyone looked where Aaron was pointing and in the air was a swarm of Flyer bots.
"We're trapped!" Karen exclaimed.
Aaron looked around and saw an alleyway ahead.
"Follow me everyone!"
Everyone ran after Aaron, going to the alley.
When they were on the other side they ran to the left.
"The perk of growing up here is that I know this city like the back of my hand. Stay on my tail and don't lose it unless you want to deal with Chaos!"
Everyone ran following Aaron's lead, robots coming after them.
Ahead was a canal. Aaron knew about the canal because he used to pass it whenever he needed a shortcut to school. He pulled out a boomerang from his bag and threw it across the canal and at a sign, making it face the other way. It was actually a secret switch that activated a hard-light hologram bridge. When the bridge appeared, everyone ran across it. Angel was the last one to cross so she went to the sign and turned it back around making the bridge dispel, and any robots on it fall into the canal.
Aaron led everyone to the right. Up ahead were a lot of Roller bots coming this way. Aaron looked around and noticed that this was where the building with the flimsy giant screen was. He looked up and saw that he was right, the building next to them had a crooked screen on it. He told Aarondroid to pull the screen off the building and he did with his extended arms. When the screen fell, it completely flattened the Roller bots, allowing everyone to keep going. I'm sure the bots are fine...even though they're not made of the same material Aaron used to make Aarondroid.
Aaron was leading everyone down a street, when at that moment, he saw Flyer bots approaching fast. Luckily, he knew this street had a paint shop close by. Aaron ran to said shop and ran out with a bucket of paint. he went up to Aarondroid, who had his palms open and ready to shoot, and poured the paint into him. Aarondroid then fired the paint at each of the Flyer bot's eyes, messing up their visual sensors, making them unable to see. They all ended up crashing into the ground as everyone kept running.
Up ahead, Aaron saw MegaCity High. He also saw more robots coming this way.
"Keep running! Head for the school!"
Everyone ran inside. Luckily, the doors were unlocked.
The automatic doors were starting to close at a slow rate as the robots started coming this way.
"I could use some help with the doors!"
Aarondroid, Doris, and Diana ran over to help Aaron push the doors close. They managed to do so at the last second.
Everyone exhaled in relief, and some fell to sit on the ground. They almost didn't make it out of there.
Aaron started walking down the hallway towards an empty classroom.
Everyone could hear him moving some stuff around, so they looked in to see that Aaron moved the desks around into a makeshift lab table. He started taking some tools out of his bag and as he pulled the microchip out of his pocket and placed it on the table, they came over and Jessica said, "What are you doing?"
"I'm trying to find out how every robot in MegaCity got under Chaos' control. Well, minus Aarondroid. It's got to have something to do with the microchips they all had. What I don't get is how they got into the robots in the first place, and where the first two went."
When Aaron was talking to everyone, something weird was happening to the microchip. Four tiny legs grew on each side of it, and the chip started crawling away.
Aaron heard the sound of its feet and turned around and saw it crawling. "Hey!"
He tried to grab it but it only jump onto his arm, to the top of his head, then in Zee's hair,
"*screams* Get it off! Get it off!"
then between Kara's eyes, making her freeze. She is not a fan of bugs.
When it jumped off her and on to the wall, and started scurrying towards Aarondroid, Aaron said, "Catch that eight-legged chip! Aarondroid, stay away from it!"
"Affirmative." The bot said, before rolling out of the room. The chip was still on the wall, going after him. Everyone scrambled to catch it.
For a bug-like microchip, it was really hard to catch. Everyone got something except the chip.
Doris hit a wall, Diana tripped onto Leslie, Barbra and Harleen crashed into each other, Selina's hand was run over by Aarondroid, Jessica bumped her head into a door, Zee and Angel's clothes were a mess from falling on the floor, and Pam had her foot ran over by Aarondroid.
The other's weren't injured because Kara stayed by the side because of her entomophobia, Carol was startled and jumped into Zach's arms, and Fei was the one who caught the chip, and Karen got a jar for them to keep it in.
"Sweet, you got it." Aaron said as everyone came back into the classroom. He took the jar from Karen and said, "So that's how these got in the robots. Chaos must've made dozens of them."
"I was joking about them running away, I didn't actually think they were." Zach said.
Aaron placed the jar on the table and pulled out a laptop from his bag and said, "Okay, I need to figure out a device that can stop and fix the bots in MegaCity, without them, Chaos won't have the upper hand. I need everyone out of this room. Find different rooms and barricade yourselves in."
Anyone that protested was cut off by Aaron saying, "If you want to get captured by robots and taken to where Chaos can torture you into telling where I am and what I know about his plan, be my guest."
That shut them up.
"Good. Now, I'm gonna get Techno to get here via TechnoHelp. He can get something I need to make this thing. I also need Aarondroid to stay here. If he gets bugged while no one's looking, we're all in trouble."
Everyone except the robot and its creator left the room. Aaron watched the door close, and afterwards he glitched himself a clone of himself and his real self left the room by glitching through the wall.
After a bit, Techno came to the window and knocked on it. 'Aaron' opened the window and saw the Super Hero Girls and the rest of the Unbreakables and said, "Well, that was quic- What are they doing here?"
Everyone turned to see that the six Super Villain Girls showed up.
Tech said, "What are you six doing in MegaCity?"
Five minutes earlier, in the school's gym, with the secret villainesses...
"We need to help Techno." Pam said.
"Why should we?" "Yeah, I wouldn't help Tech-nerd if he were the last guy on Earth!" Doris and Leslie said.
The latter continued, "Don't tell me you've gone soft for Techno."
"No! It's just- You wouldn't understand. Look, if you won't do it for me, then do this to take down Chaos! If Aaron weren't here, we would've been in bruises or dead by that nutcase! This is a great city, and do you really want to see it get taken?"
The jock and rebel looked at each other before saying, "...Fine. Only because that freak needs to be pushed around some." "I'm gonna show him what happens when he messes with the real number one."
Pam then turned to the rest of the group and said, "You girls in?"
Selina: "This city isn't half bad. It'd really be terrible if Chaos took control of it."
Harleen: "I'm always ready for a good fight! I'm with ya, Red!"
Carol: "He ruined my day with Zach, of course I'm in!"
Pam then said, "Okay, right after Techno shows up, we come in to help out."
End flashback...
"We're here because of Chaos." Livewire said, "We'll help you, but don't get any ideas! This is a one time 'stop the badder bad guy' thing."
"Never hurts to help, I always say. *Turns to 'Aaron'* You said you had something that could help us?"
"Yep, here you go."
The clone gave Techno a single button remote.
"This remote can disable the bugs. It's almost finished, it just needs a reverse-polarity sub-Etha frequency emitter."
"Bless you."
Techno turned to Wonder Woman and said, "No, a sub-Etha frequency emitter is a part that can send messages to something else with or without saying something. It looks like a light bulb."
"Yup." 'Aaron' said, "Chaos has to have one or else he couldn't tell the bots to do anything in the first place. The emitter has to be with him somewhere where he is. All you gotta do is reverse the polarity on it, put it on the remote, and it'll be finished. When it's done, just point and press the button and the bots won't be under control anymore."
"Thanks Aaron, stay safe." Tech said as everyone ran off.
"All we have to do now is find out where Chaos is, and I think I know where."
"The Mecha Corp. buildings."
The sixteen of them were on top of a building right across from the Mecha Corp. buildings. Around said buildings were robots coming in and out of the office building, and plain model robots coming out of the factory building.
"Looks like Chaos' using the factory to make more bugged robots." Catwoman said.
"Not regular ones either." Tech said using his Techno Vision before shutting it off,
"These bots have upgrades. Some of them have infrared eyes. With those, they can see us if we're invisible or hiding. See the ones with antennas on the back of their heads? They're built with sensors that can track my Techno Vision. If I use it for too long, they can pinpoint my location and alert the other bots. I'd also stay away from those Flyers. Their arms have built-in stasis spotlights. When their hands shine those lights on us, we won't be able to move at all."
"What's our plan, Tech-Head?" Greatess said.
Techno thought for a second before saying, "Okay everyone, listen up.
First, we need to do something about the new robots. Giganta, Dynamo, Harley, Sapphire, Lantern, Livewire, Sai, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman, I need you all to go into the factory and stop the production. Wreck something, smash stuff, cut off the power, I don't care, we can always fix it. Just make sure the factory's out of action."
"You had me at 'smash stuff'." Giganta said, pumping her fists together.
"The rest of us are sneaking into the other building to find the frequency emitter."
"'sneaking in'?" Bumblebee said, "They're bound to notice us!"
"Not if we look like robots."
Techno now had an Ultra Disc with a grey light on it. He put it on himself and snapped his fingers. In seconds, the color chrome was forming around Techno's face and body, a few lights on his face, and on the bottom of his feet formed three wheels.
"The new disc makes a Nano-gear disguise. When I snap my fingers, you'll look like a robot. It's made of a special material so any infrared sensors won't see our heat signatures.
Here's the plan: when the factory's under attack, most of the bots in MegaCity will be called to the buildings. When that happens, the half of us going in will go in and find the emitter. Remember, we may look like robots, we just need to act like robots. One act out of order will get us caught. The minute we get the emitter, we reverse the polarity and put it on the remote and put most of the bots back to normal. When Chaos has less than forty percent of the robots out of his control, we get him. Everyone understand?"
Everyone nodded.
"Great. Let's do this."
At the top of the office and lab building, we see Chaos standing in front of the big window, smiling.
He sighed before saying, "It's just wonderful to see everything that Aaron worked hard for to go up in flames."
He turned away from the window before saying, "And it's all thanks to you, Mr. Luthor."
Lex was held by two bugged robots.
"To think, my plan might've never worked if you didn't come along to fund it."
"I take it that that business card of yours isn't legit either?"
"Nope! Family corporation went down years ago and was replaced by these buildings! It's funny, you're a multimillionaire with a big company, and you made business with a guy you trusted immediately only to be stabbed in the back. I'm impressed your business is still standing."
Lex gritted his teeth before saying, "When I get out of here-"
He got punched in the face by Chaos' metal hand!
"*laughs* Do you really think you'll get that chance?! You really are dumb! *laughs again*"
He then grabbed Lex's neck with his other hand and said,
"(threatening tone) Listen up, you and everyone else in this city will be locked up in this building until I say you can leave. Act out of order once, and you will regret it. Understand?"
Lex was gradually getting more and more frightened by Chaos. He nodded.
"(normal tone) Good. (to robots) Lock him up!"
The bots then dragged Lex out of the office building, Chaos walking behind it.
We see him in a huge area which had almost all of MegaCity's population inside and behind sky blue closed areas.
He watched as Lex was thrown into an area and a sky blue hard-light holographic wall appeared, trapping him inside the cell next to his sister.
"*sigh* It feels good being in power again."
He then turned and made his way to the door.

Chaos' laughing made everyone slightly scared.

He bursts through the doors that went into the hallway before saying something his parents said to him.

As he was back in the main office, a story then played in his head.
We see silhouettes of a younger Maxwell and his parents. They're on a pillar above everyone in a line with miserable expressions. The three of them laughed, happy with their rule and power. Then at that moment a silhouette of a younger Aaron came over and made everyone cheer. The boy pointed at the tower that the Onyx family was on and all together, they made the pillar fall over. The young Aaron climbed on top of the fallen pillar and said something before raising his fist, causing everyone to cheer for him.
The Onyx parents were then gone in ashes, and Maxwell was looking angry. He had a knife in hand and was about to charge over and harm Aaron, but he was blasted back by a silhouette of Techno.
The arm was knocked out of his hand and into his arm, which turned into a robot arm right after.
Techno blast jumped onto the fallen pillar next to Aaron, and the two put their hands together and raised them.
Maxwell was then held by two robots and then was dragged away, rage unknown while growing up to his age today.
He was gonna get revenge on those two someday.
We now exit Chaos' mind.

His good mood was ruined by alarms going off in the building.
"*groans* What now?"
A screen dropped down from above and showed the camera footage of the factory. It showed the heroes and villains making a mess of the place. His main attention was on Dynamo and Sai.
"Huh, looks like Techno called in his friends to fill in for him. No matter."
In the factory...
Four plain model Roller bots were just now sliced into pieces by Wonder Woman and Sai.
In the air, Star Sapphire and Green Lantern were dealing with Flyer bots on all of her sides. She made a wrecking ball construct and smashed them into the walls.
Before two more Flyers could sine the stasis lights on them from behind, Supergirl flew in an punched them into the floor.
On the conveyor belts, Harley and Dynamo were taking out the Walker bots coming down the line.
"I still don't see how you can use bombs to save people." the clown said to him, while whacking a bot's head off with her mallet.
"Hey, I've got more than bombs that can explode."
Dynamo pulled out a small grey and black disk that had a red light/button on it. He pressed it before throwing it at a group of Roller bots. After it went off, the bots were pulled to where the disc was, along with some of the machinery nearby.
"Boom! Gravity mine for the win!" he said before getting off the conveyor. He clicked his heels together and wheels appeared on his shoes. He then skated off, wrecking more bots with his staff.
"Bombs, staff, skates, and black and red? This guy's a better me than I am!" Quinn said, a little annoyed.
More bots were coming in, but the were immediately powered down and fell to the ground. Livewire took the electricity from them and used it to power one of them before going to wreck some more.
Why did she leave one still powered? After the bot got back up, Giganta picked it up before throwing it at a group of Walkers. There was a lot of energy still in it, so upon impact, the bot exploded!
Giganta laughed at that before tearing the place up some more.
With the others...
Tech and the others are in their robot disguises and still waiting on the building.
They were all chrome on their suits and face, and Batgirl was the only other one with wheels.
"Remember, we all go in through different entrances. Bats and I have wheels, so we go through the Roller bots' entrance, the door on the right side of the building. Zatanna and Greatess, you girls go through the Flyer bots' entrance up there on the top right of the building. The rest of you go through the front door Walker bots' entrance."
They all nodded, minus Ivy. She still couldn't look at Techno directly. When she did, she saw him as Aaron for a second.
When Tech finished, heard being broadcast around the city was,
"Would every robot in MegaCity come to the Mecha Corp. robot factory? We've got a pest problem."
Looking around, the eight of them saw the robots of everyone in the city come to the Mecha Corp. buildings. Most went to the factory and the rest went to the lab/office building.
"Act natural. We're in trouble if we're found out."
Everyone then split up. Bumblebee, Ivy, and Catwoman went through the main entrance, Zatanna and Greatess went through the Flyers' entrance, and Batgirl and Techno went through the Rollers' entrance.
So far, so good. They weren't caught yet.
Everyone was acting as if they were actually one of the bots. Batgirl almost messed up when she made beeping noises. Tech made her be quiet when he told her it was a hurtful stereotype.
Anyway, Techno was using his Techno Vision to look around for the emitter. Remember, he couldn't use it for too long, so he only used it for five seconds every two minutes.
After a bit, Tech looked up and saw some kind of signal coming from the top floor. After turning his Techno Vision off, he made his way to the glass elevator. Everyone saw him go in and they went over and in with him.
When the elevator closed, went up, and the lab area wasn't visible anymore, everyone exhaled.
"Thank goodness. I could not keep that up anymore." Greatess said.
"Techno, why are we up here?" Bumblebee said.
"The emitter's somewhere up here. Either Chaos has it or it's just up here. I looked and saw that there's about twenty bots up here. We need to keep up this act a little longer."
The elevator opened and the eight of them came out in four rows of two.
There were bots patrolling through the halls, but not as lot like Techno said.
When they reached the intersection in the middle of the hall, they split up: Batgirl and Catwoman to the right, Greatess and Zatarra to the left, and Techno, Bumblebee, and Poison Ivy straight ahead.
The Bat and Cat had to find the regulator then bring it to the Smart Spark so he could put it on the remote. The two performers had the job of getting everyone out of the building safely until they fixed this whole thing. The bee, her boyfriend, and the eco-terrorist had to keep the others updated about Chaos and keep him busy so that he doesn't catch on to what they're doing.
When the main door opened, Tech didn't even flinch when a bullet came flying by his face and didn't hit him, but hit the carpet in the hallway. The bullet almost made the girls break their postures.
"And, I missed." Chaos said in his chair, shrugging before throwing the gun behind him and making it go off when it hit the floor. Beside the desk were two other bugged robots.
"Where was I? Oh yeah."
Chaos suddenly grabbed the neck of one of the bots beside him and said with an eerie grin, "So, when I order you to find Techno and Aaron, (angry and insane tone) YOU SHUT THE HECK UP AND BRING ME TECHNO AND AARON!"
He then pushed him back hard enough to fall through the large window behind him, making a big hole in the glass. When the robot hit the ground,it fell apart into pieces.
Okay, let's take a second to give Bumblebee kudos for how under control she's been. At the sight of that, she would start trembling, and get really scared. And she was about to, but she had to keep up the act so that something like that doesn't happen to her.
No matter how much she wanted to leave the room A.S.A.P..
Chaos suddenly went back to normal-ish and said, "Man, I am famished. *sits in desk chair* (to other bot) You, I want a pizza, I haven't had one in so long."
The Roller bot by the desk actually happened to be a staff bot for a pizzeria. The stomach hatch opened up and out came a pizza with bell peppers on it.
Irritated, he grabbed the bot by the head and slammed it into the desk before yelling, "I HATE PEPPERS!" before throwing the pizza across the room.
The bot, slightly dented in the head from the hit with the desk, then gave him a pepperoni deep dish.
"(glad tone) That's better." he then ate a slice of it.
Bumblebee was seconds from freaking out. That was until Techno held her hand to keep her at ease. Well, pinkie. They didn't want Chaos to see.
Ivy however did see. That made something else in her mind click. When she looked at Techno and Bumbles, in her head for a second, they appeared as Aaron and Karen!
Okay, now she was seconds from freaking out.
Techno suddenly got a tingle. He had to leave the room alone. If all three of them left at the same time, it would look suspicious.
Tech went to the pizza flung at the wall, and said, "(robot voice) I will return."
With the pizza in hand, Tech made his way out of the room and into the hallway where he met up with just Catwoman.
"Where're the others?" "Batgirl with just with me. Greatess and Zatanna aren't in the room anymore, I just checked. Everyone else is out of the building though." "Well, did you get the emitter?" "Yeah."
She handed him a red dome shape light bulb. Tech pulled out the remote before pixelating the emitter and putting it on the bulb.
"TECHNO, WE HAVE A PROBLEM."
"I don't know if you noticed M.A.D.I.S.O.N., but we have too many problems tonight. What's wrong now?" Tech answered into his visor, Catwoman leaning in to listen too.
"EVERYONE HAS BEEN CAPTURED AND LOCKED UP IN THE FACTORY. CHAOS HAS JUST BEEN ALERTED, AND KNOWS ABOUT YOUR PLAN. HE ALREADY HAS POISON IVY AND BUMBLEBEE CAPTURED IN THE MAIN OFFICE."
"You've gotta be kidding me! I just left the room!" he said before throwing the pizza down the hall.
He then said to Catwoman, "I need you to take the remote and deal with the bugged robots and save everyone. I got a nutcase to deal with."
Tech snapped his fingers and that made the Nano-gear on him and Catwoman deactivate and disappear. It applied to the others who had it on.
Catwoman then left with the remote, and Techno cracked his neck and went to the room behind him.
He pressed a button on his visor saying, "Aarondroid, it's time."
After, he went into the room then saw Bumblebee and Poison Ivy tied up and gagged and Chaos turning his back, looking at them.
"I'll give you one thing, Tech. You really had me."
He then turned around and said to the Glitch King, "Too bad that it didn't last long. It's also a shame you came alone. So listen up,"
He pulled out the gun from earlier and continued, "get Aaron over here, or I make sure these two get their dose of lead."
Bumblebee whimpered after hearing that.
"Look pal, I get your mad after being locked up for five years, but you had it coming! You know why Aaron did it."
"You think I don't know that? All I know is that punk destroyed us; now, I'm gonna destroy him."
"Dude, you expect everyone to be by your side after you tried killing him? Not even your parents were on your side after that. They even tried talking you into just walking away, but then the incident happened. Aaron even tried saving their lives, but couldn't, and you still have a grudge?"
"Why should I be thankful for the guy who tried to save two lives I don't even care about anymore?"
Tech's eyes widened in realization. "That train wreck wasn't an accident. It was you! You wanted them dead?!"
"They promised me that I would rule this town, but thanks to you and him, I never got that chance. I thought they'd care that I tried to get back at the one who started it, but they denied even that. They deserved death...Anyway, time for talk's over."
He aimed the gun back at the girls.
"Tick tock, Tech. Get me Aaron, or these two go bye-bye!"
When Tech was thinking of what to do now, he noticed something heading for the window. He smirked and went intangible.
A plain model Flyer bot came flying through the window, through Techno, and hit the floor.
"Huh?"
Chaos looked outside to see something fighting and hitting the Flyer bots out of the sky.
Remember when Techno said 'Aarondroid, it's time.'? Aaron's been working on a new upgrade for Aarondroid.
The robot in question, who is in the sky fighting the other bots, is now a Flyer instead of a Roller, and looks just like Techno if he was made of metal. The only chrome on him is the face. The 'visor' is a neon green screen, and in both hands' palms are circular lights that shoot beams.
After all the bots were out of the air the robot flew through one of the holes of the window and landed next to Techno.
"Bumbles, Ivy, Chaos, let me introduce you to my newest partner: Ro-Tech."
Ro-Tech then held out his fist, and a small shooter appeared from the wrist, waiting to be fired.
"(laughs) You really know how to make a new surprise, huh Tech?"
As Chaos kept talking, Ivy was waiting to strike.
She had an idea.
"-I mean, I have most of the town under my control, and somehow, you managed. *turns gun away* And even then-"
Ivy then used her chlorokinesis to make vines appear and knock the gun out of Chaos' hands.
She got free and got Bumblebee free and they both got into fighting stances.
"Huh, looks like I'm cornered." Chaos said.
"Welp, time to go out with a bang."
He pulled out a one button remote and pressed it before throwing it though the window.
The word 'bang' alarmed everyone because they knew it meant that Chaos set a bomb somewhere!
"If I go down, you four go down with me! Good luck getting out in time!"
Techno ducked under a fist from a bugged robot, and punched the bot into the wall.
Suddenly, more bots started coming into the room. The heroes and villain started defending themselves while Chaos left the room.
"We gotta get out of here!" Ivy said, using a vine to whip a bot in half.
"I'm not letting Chaos get away! You guys gotta get out of here!"
"Techno, we are not gonna just leave you!" Bumblebee said, shrinking down before hitting a bot as she grew.
Techno then said after ducking under an electric blast from Ro-Tech, "I survived worse! Just go!"
Tech then zapped away some bots blocking the door, then made his way after Chaos.
"You heard him, we need to leave!" Poison Ivy said, getting rid of the last robot.
"No! I'm leaving my boyfriend alone with that maniac!"
"No, we're leaving!"
"We're going after Techno!"
"Bumblebee! I get it! You don't want anything to happen to him, but what can we do?! We know next to nothing about Chaos, and Techno's fought him before. The only thing we can do is get out of here before we get killed."
"You wouldn't understand!" she said, tears starting to form in her eyes, "Techno's done so much for me, my friends, and everyone in MegaCity and Metropolis! I can't just stand by and watch him go! You wouldn't get it because you don't care about him like I do!"
Ivy looked away feeling upset.
"Bumblebee...I-"
*BOOM!*
The explosion went off in the room, blowing Ivy, Bumblebee, and Ro-Tech out of large window.
As Ivy went falling to the ground, she spotted Bumblebee who was unconscious from the blow.
She kept her body straight to fall faster and got to her. She held onto her before Ro-Tech flew over and flew the two closer to the ground. When they reached the ground. Bumblebee started to wake up.
"What...What happened..."
She suddenly sat up saying, "Techno!"
She got up tried flying, but her suit wasn't working.
She then started running for the front entrance to the building, but she was stopped from someone grabbing her wrist.
She looked and saw that it was Poison Ivy who had her head down.
"What are you doing?! Techno needs help! I have to-"
Ivy then rose her head up showing her tears, making her stop.
"Bumblebee, I care about him too! He's the only one who cares about those who people don't care about! I'd be stupid for not thinking he's great for a second! You think I want him potentially dying and just want to sit here when it does happen?! I'm sorry, but as much as we don't want him to fight Chaos, we can't just go up there and get ourselves killed!"
As much as she didn't want to admit it, Bumblebee knew she was right.
These two almost got themselves killed twice tonight. They had no chance of fighting Chaos as much as Techno did.
As the rest of the group came through from the factory, one question was on her mind:
Now what?
Techno sighed with relief.
He used his Techno Vision and saw that the girls survived the explosion.
He continued going down the staircase that Chaos went down.
When he opened the door at the bottom of the stairs, he immediately dodged a punch from Chaos's robotic hand. Tech countered by hitting him in the face and down the hall a bit.
"Just like old times, huh Tech?"
"You still lost in those old times, like now."
The two broke out into a fight in the hallway, dodging and blocking each other's hits. However, Tech was having an easier time in this fight.
Like how Chaos tried to slam his head into a door and Tech just went intangible and pulled Chaos' face into said door.
Chaos also tried using the glass from a fire extinguisher case, which he was chest blasted into, to strike Tech, but blocked the one in his normal hand, then used his powers to stop his mechanical one.
Chaos got an uppercut from techno then got punched.
"That's for taking over the Mecha Corp. buildings!"
He gave him hit down the hall a bit.
"That's for bugging the robots!"
He then kicked him into the wall.
"That's for threatening to kill my girlfriend!"
Before Techno could hit him again, he just barely dodged a punch from a bugged Walker bot from behind.
Turning his back, he fought the bot and turned back to Chaos, who wasn't there. He looked down the hall to just see him go through the door to the staircase to the lower levels.
Techno went through the floor and landed in a deep and dark area.
Techno snapped his fingers and the lights went on and he saw different shapes and sizes of partially made plain model bots.
He knew this floor. This entire floor in the middle of the building was where they were making new and different kinds of robots other than Walkers, Flyers, and Rollers.
Tech used his Techno Vision and saw the shoe prints of Chaos' shoes making a trail. He was down here somewhere.
As the green and black glitching hero started following the tracks, he failed to see the plain model designs power on and have red lights.
A few seconds into print tracking, Techno stopped while a little puzzled, because the prints just stopped.
"Where the what the-?"
A tingle suddenly went off and he moved back to dodge bugged bots that had drills for hands and treads on their feet. These were going to be Digger bots.
He then cartwheeled to the right to avoid bugged bots that had shot at him with fireworks from dispensers on their backs. Add that to the different color lights on it, and you could tell these were designs for Celebrater bots.
He then felt something on his ankle and when he saw it, he shook it off and it crawled away. The thing was a detachable robot hand and it went back on to a bot that was in a group of other Rearrangeable bots. They could detach any part of their bodies and put them back together in any way.
"Why did we make so many designs for these bots?"
He stomped the ground and made his energy zap all the bots and make them go haywire.
He blast jumped over them all and looked around for Chaos.
Behind him he heard the sound of clanging metal. He didn't pay it any mind, but hit happened even more and it was starting to get annoying.
Tech said turning around, "Okay, what is that- *groans* You're kidding!"
The parts of all of the Rearrangeable bots were shaping into something new: a cliché giant robot that was the height of the room. Only this bot had the Digger bots at the hands with their drills out and pointing on the knuckles, and Celebrater bots on the back and shoulders, their firework launchers ready to shoot.
In the middle of the robot, a circular window opened up showing Chaos inside, controlling the whole thing.
"I might've whipped this up as a backup plan. Oh, I almost forgot!"
He pressed a button and it made the robot show a compartment above Chaos' window. It was a glass orb showing a floating black eight-pointed star with a dark purple aura.
Remember the star I mentioned earlier that gave Greatess her powers? Well, that wasn't the only star that was found. The star that gave her powers was the exact opposite of this one. This star is nothing but trouble, and made of complete dark energy and power. So dark and powerful, that you can't even get into close contact with it without an incident happening.
It was locked up tight in a vault in the museum, but looks like Chaos broke in and took it.
The only thing people actually have a bit of knowledge about it is what they called the star: The X-Star.
With another button press, from the star shot a shockwave that blasted all throughout the room, turning the extra robot designs in the room on, and doing something else.
Tech felt something off so he tried using his Techno Vision, but it wasn't working. He didn't feel the tingling or glitching that should be going all throughout his body. You know what this meant.
Techno's powers were gone.
"I knew that even if I killed you, you'd just get back up. So, I thought I'd get a little bit of help that would fix that.
Let's figure out if your just as tough without your powers..."
Tech shoulder rolled out of the way when a laser from the X-Star shot at him.
Even though this would be challenging, Techno's won fights like these before, without his powers I mean.
He could die from this if he wasn't careful, but he would not go out with his city on the line.
Besides, what's life without a challenge?
Bugged Rearrangeable bots appeared next to Chaos' bot. These were his backup.
Just because Techno didn't have his powers, that didn't mean he couldn't fight. He could still hit pretty hard for a teenager.
He started attacking the robots while dodging the drills and fireworks from Chaos' robot. He managed to knock them into pieces, but these robots were made to be put into pieces. They wouldn't stay like this for long. Techno needed an opening to get to Chaos. He still could use his Ultra Discs and wires so he went with that. He threw a green Ultra Disc at the mess of robot parts and snapped his fingers, making them short-circuit. He was about to head for Chaos, but he backflipped to avoid another shot from the X-Star.
Chaos shot another beam of dark energy at the robots, making them get back up.
Okay, that's not fair.
This went on for a bit longer, and Techno didn't get an opening yet.
However, the tables were about to turn.
Right as Chaos said, "See ya, Tech!", he shot another energy beam at Techno.
It was about to hit him, but Techno smirk because the beam just ricocheted midair and went through the wall!
"What the?" Chaos said, confused.
Whatever the laser bounced off of became visible. It was Bumblebee and Poison Ivy riding on the back of Ro-Tech in the air.
"Little late to the party, don't you think?" Techno said, still smirking.
"Sorry, we were thinking of what to bring." Bumblebee said.
Tech's been teaching her how to quip like how he does sometimes.
The doors to the area blew open, and as the smoke cleared, in came Dynamo, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Livewire, Star Sapphire, Zatanna, and Catwoman, who still had the remote.
The vast window that showed the outside of the building also blew open. From it came in Green Lantern, Supergirl, Greatess, and the last in line was using her powers to carry Giganta, Wonder Woman and Sai into the building.
[Orange for telekinesis, don't forget!]
"*sigh* I just want to kill two nerds, is that so much to ask?" Chaos said, head on his hand.
"Hey, I might not like him, but I'm sure as heck not gonna let you kill my greatest enemy." Livewire said.
"Tech's helped us a bunch of times. Time for us to return the favor." Supergirl said.
Now it was the seventeen of them versus Chaos and a bunch of robot designs. They all started fighting the bots first as Chaos tried to shoot and mess them up.
While that was going on, said new his plan.
"Chaos shut off my powers with the X-Star in the bot, we need to get him and it out of there. *punches bot away* Ro-Tech's with me, the rest of you, make groups of five: One team deals with the bots, the other two try to hold down Chaos. *kicks bot in face*"
"The robots keep getting back up Techno," Sai said, "we won't keep them down for long. *cuts a bots leg off*"
"Well, I'll give you all an upgrade! *Presses button on mask while fighting* M.A.D.I.S.O.N.!" "ALREADY INITIATING TECHNO-SCAN."
Techno may not have his powers, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't give and use Techno-downloads.
"M.A.D.I.S.O.N., download now!" His watch glowed as he took out another bot. "Download, Daring Deliverance!"
An amber picture of some breaking chain was shown on Techno's watch. The green on his outfit pixelated to amber and some amber chains wrapped around his wrists. Since he didn't have his powers, Ro-Tech touched the watch and amber outlines and chains appeared on him like with Techno, and the robot shot an amber beam out of his eyes and the amber energy traveled from him to the other sixteen. They also now had amber outlines on them and amber chains on their wrists.
The Super Villain Girls and Unbreakables were very pleased. So this was what it felt like to get a Techno-download.
"Okay, everyone. Let's show this maniac what for."
After hearing Tech's words, they went at it.
Catwoman, Sai, Poison Ivy, Green Lantern, and Star Sapphire had to hold down the right side of the bot, Giganta, Supergirl, Bumblebee, Zatanna, and Greatess had to hold down the left side, and Techno and Ro-Tech had to join Harley Quinn, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Dynamo, and Livewire with wrecking the robot designs until they had an opening so they could attack and get a hold of Chaos.
Ro-Tech flew up and Techno swung the chain in his left hand threw it in the air, it extended and Ro-Tech caught it, pulling Techno with him.
The deal with this Techno-download was that the chains could pull things that were in a hundred feet of you. It could also work as dual whips.
Anyway, pieces and parts flew everywhere as the war on the middle floor of the Mecha Corp. building went on.
After knocking away a bot's head, Techno glanced at Chaos' bot and saw that it's right limbs were pinned down by the chains, vines and Lantern constructs.
"Ro-Tech, boost me!"
Techno ran over to the robot and his robot landed with a handstand and when Tech ran over and jumped, Ro-Tech boosted him in the air with his thrusters.
Techno landed at Chaos' window. He used the chains and they went through the window, hooked onto Chaos by the neck, and pulled him making him collide with it, making it crack.
Tech hit the glass two more times before Chaos said, "Ah, ah, ah! No touching the merchandise!" and shot out a few fireworks before using the free arm to try to grab Techno. Luck was not in his favor, because the Smart Spark backflipped off the robot before the hand grabbed him.
The fireworks end up landing on the restraints keeping it pinned, freeing Chaos in the process.
Something had to be done about the fireworks.
After thinking that, Ivy used her chlorokinesis and made some vegetation grow in the firework dispensers. Because of that, Chaos couldn't shoot any out anymore. He wasn't happy, but it's hard to tell from that eerie grin of his.
After another short while of pulling, punching, and power moves, Chaos' bot is seen pinned from the left side by Giganta and Supergirl, and held in place by Greatess and Zatanna's powers.
"Ro-Tech, go for it!"
Ro-Tech flew by as Techno threw him a yellow Ultra Disc. Ro-Tech put the Ultra Disc on his fist and as it collided with Chaos' window, Techno snapped his fingers making the disc go off.
The kinetic pulse plus the mechanical punch made a strong hit that made the glass crack some more. Some more punches made the cracks grow to the edge of the window. Before the robot could throw one more punch at the glass, it moved and shot a beam from his hands and pushed away the left hand to Chaos' bot.
After Ro-Tech moved out of the way, the hand came straight towards Giganta, making her move and let the bot go. The drills on the other hand were about to hit Supergirl, but the drills just stopped suddenly.
We see that it was because of Bumblebee who was running around the robot and shooting the drills with the disrupting stingers of hers, making the drills shut off. Remember, she couldn't fly because her suit's flying and shrinking functions aren't working.
With no drills, and no fireworks, everyone saw a chance to finish this.
Catwoman then realized, before hitting herself in the head for forgetting, she had the remote. She used it and the bot designs were down and the bug/chips fell out of them.
Now, the bot designs were down, and like before, both sides of Chaos' bot were held in place.
Techno and Ro-Tech both went for the bot and inside, Chaos hit a button and was about to do something else, when he was suddenly yanked by the chains from Techno and his mechanical double.
Due to the glass being cracked a lot, they ended up pulling Chaos out of the robot and into the air before punching him to the ground. Ro-Tech flew to the ground and held Chaos' hands behind his back.
Everyone then cheered. Why wouldn't they? They won.
Right?
Bumblebee was the only one still the only one not cheering. She was looking at Chaos, wondering why he still had that smile of his on his face.
"Bumbles! Look out!"
She didn't notice the X-Star laser that shot out from the robot. She didn't move in time and as she turned to look, the laser hit.
I didn't say it hit her though. Right after Techno's warning, he ran in, shoved her out of the way and the beam hit him right where his heart was.
The blast at the chest was enough to make Techno black out and hit the floor. Chaos' bot got free from its entrapment then threw him across the room and against the wall.
That made everyone go shocked, especially Bumblebee and Ivy.
Techno did not just lose.
He never loses!
"Misery, pain, and guilt. That's all he ever brings."
The robot knocked Ro-Tech away, picked up Chaos, then put him back inside itself.
Chaos then used the X-Star's power to get rid of Techno's Techno-download from everyone.
He then controlled the bot to grab both Bumblebee and Poison Ivy. Bumblebee dived out of the way in time, but Ivy didn't react fast enough.
Bumblebee ran to Techno's limp body and immediately started tearing up as she crouched down and moved his body to face her front.
"(breaking voice)No, Techno, please! Come on, get up! We need you! You can't go! Please!"
No answer.
"Godspeed, Tech. Not sure if you could hear this, but if you would've just given up Aaron and surrendered, your friends here could've had quick, painful deaths."
He tightened the grip on Ivy making her yelp in pain. The rest of the group tried to run in and attack, but they were suddenly all frozen in place by stasis spotlights from Flyer bots that flew in. A Rearrangeable bot grabbed the remote from Catwoman's hands and crushed it in its palm.
"But now that you really ticked me off, I'm gonna finish them off *smiles insanely* nice. And. Slow."
The grip tightened Poison Ivy again making her scream in pain.
The others tried budging, but they couldn't! They couldn't even use their powers!
Bumbles was holding Tech's body close while crying.
"Techno...*sniff*please...come back to us..."
She just watched her boyfriend sacrifice himself just to keep her alive.
Now...he was gone, and now her, Ivy, the girls, the villainesses, the Unbreakables, everyone in MegaCity was in danger of a power hungry teen with some loose screws.
It all felt like her fault.
Ivy gritted her teeth feeling the hand she was in squeezing her more, and Chaos' grin kept growing wider. Her anger was what was keeping her going.
This guy killed her crush right in front of her, and was planning to take over MegaCity like his family did years ago. She didn't want that to happen again.
She couldn't let it happen again!
She tried breaking free with all of her strength, but it was gradually going down by the second.
After a bit, Chaos was done squeezing her. She was still alive, but just as when she was as weak as she could possibly get, Chaos readied the X-Star again.
"Say hi to Techno for me."
The bot was about to grab Bumblebee, but it couldn't.
The hand tried reaching for her but something was stopping it.
Bumblebee looked and saw that some kind of force field made of dark purple electric energy was blocking the way and shielding her and Techno.
Stunned, she looked at the emitting energy that was making the force field and saw it was coming from Techno's chest.
A second after, a huge shockwave of purple energy shot from Techno, dispelling the force field, and knocking Chaos and his bot back and towards the floor's window.
Looking back at Techno, he flung himself onto his feet. He then opened his eyes, revealing them both being dark purple, and glitching and sparking. The neon green on his suit then also pixelated into dark purple.
He held out his palm and energy started to come into it, coming from the X-Star until it wasn't glowing with its aura anymore.
"Well, this is unexpected." said Chaos, who wasn't smiling anymore.
"Dang straight." Techno said before smirking again.
As fast he could go, which is always really fast, the Glitch King sped forward and with a swipe at each leg he made the bot, well, legless.
The fall to the ground made the grip on Ivy gone. She was still fairly weak, so Tech sped forward, carried her bridal-style, and moved her to a safe place.
She glanced at Techno, and smiled a bit with a blush. He didn't notice it though.
After moving Ivy, Techno stood in front of Chaos' bot.
The nutcase inside looked back, unhappy.
"Why do you always have to ruin a bad thing?"
Techno just smiled as half of his suit's purple turned back to neon green along with the color of one of his eyes.
He stomped one foot to the ground sending both colors of energy all throughout the room from the floor to the ceiling. Some of the energy zapped the Flyer bots holding everyone captive, and powered them off.
Techno then sped forward towards the bot, and when he was right in front of it, he spun around and punched it with both hands, knocking it out of the window with a lot of force. Seeing Chaos go flying made Techno smile he could hear him say,
"THIS ISN'T OVER TECH!"
He heard the bot crash somewhere at the ground and he said as his suit's patterns went back to neon green,
"That was for messing with my friends and my city!"
He turned around and saw his friends and enemies clapping and cheering for Techno.
As he walked back to them, he said, "You've seen comebacks before, but I doubt you've seen ones like that."
He was suddenly tackled to the floor by Bumblebee who gripped onto him tight.
"I thought I told you not to scare me like that anymore!" she said into his chest, still crying a little.
"You do remember me saying that I can only try, right?"
"You didn't have your powers! I thought you'd be gone for good this time! I-I-"
Techno just rolled his eyes before raising Bumblebee's head and pulling her towards his lips.
"Ugh, get a room you two." Livewire and Supergirl said.
"Bumbles, you need to stop worrying about me. I told you before; my place is here, and I don't intend on leaving. I've survived worse since I was twelve."
Techno put her arms around her before finishing, "Everything'll be okay. Okay?"
Her response was holding onto him again.
Glad that that's over.
It's the next day and on T.V. we see most of MegaCity in front of a stage at City Hall, with a big screen behind it. On it were Aaron's parents, his mom at a podium in the center of the stage, and at either side of the stage was Techno and 'Aaron'.
At the front of the crowd near the stage was the group of Aaron's friends and mutual acquaintances as their normal selves.
Even though Techno asked if they wanted a piece of the glory, the majority said that Techno should get it all because it was thanks to him that Chaos was defeated.
The reason that there's an Aaron clone up there is because Aaron technically had a hand in saving the town. Almost everyone in town didn't see that coming.
Techno and 'Aaron' walked over to Elsie and she turned to them a put a medal around both of their necks.
"Thank you again for saving our city."
The crowd then cheered and applauded.
Elsie looked at her suited up son, and from the look in her eyes, he could tell what she wanted.
Techno rolled his eyes then looked at his clone.
He gave a thumbs up and said, "Go ahead."
She thanked her son and turned back to the crowd.
"Again, we give thanks to our two heroes, Techno, our Spark of Hope, and Aaron Palmer,
my son."
The crowd then gasped then went silent.
"Our son." William said, walking up and standing next to his ex-wife.
Everyone gasped again.
Mayor Elsie then went on about how Aaron was also the one who saved MegaCity from the Onyx family. No one believed her at first, but when Techno confirmed it by making a memory scene of the event on the screen, all disbelieves were gone.
"Aaron, thank you again."
She then went on to hug him, much to his embarrassment and zero complaints. His dad just ruffled his hair.
There was clapping from his friends, then the rest of the crowd joined in.
At that moment we see the T.V. switch off.
On the couch of the penthouse we see Aaron and his six female friends.
"Only a matter of time before every terrible person in my past tries to get in contact with me." Aaron said, leaning back in his seat.
He still felt a little good. He saved MegaCity for the umpteenth time, Chaos was now put in a more secure cell underground, Lex was banned from MegaCity, and Aaron got new powers.
Speaking of which,
"Are you sure you are okay, Aaron?"
"Diana, I've dealt with way worse. I'll be fine."
"I meant the power of the X-Star. Are you okay with such dark power combined with your technology powers? You said the power of that star can be unpredictable. We won't know what'll happen to you in the future."
Everyone looked at Aaron.
"Well, I'm not sure. But that's the fun part: doing new things and seeing what can happen. Besides, I check out my new X-powers when we get home. Also, look at this!"
He held out his hands and both of them were sparking, one with neon green energy, and the other with dark purple energy.
"These shades of green and purple look awesome!"
Everyone chuckled.
Aarondroid then rolled in saying, "Zachery, Angel and Fei have arrived."
Aaron then got up and said, "C'mon everyone. We still have the rest of the week here in MegaCity. There's still so much to do. *whistles* Hey, girls! Angel, Fei, and Zach are waiting outside!"
Carol was the first to head to the elevator. The other rest of the girls came with Pam being the last behind Aaron.
She looked at him and had a small smile on her face.
This guy really was something.
As the two entered the elevator, before hitting the button Aaron looked to the audience, yes you, and raised his glasses, showed his green and purple eyes, and winked before lowering them.
He pressed the button and the elevator closed.
Phew! Finally done!
This took way longer than I thought it would.
