AN- bahnannah- I like Fury I do think he sometimes reacts without all relevant information but all in all he tries really hard to do the right thing. The talking in the sleep was inspired by Ron knowing enough parsel tongue to get into the chamber because 'Harry talks in his sleep.' lol.
demonstration1996- Alley will be next chapter I promise I hope the reactions to the house make up for a shorter slower chapter.
n7kairos- Heating up in more ways than one as it turns out. If things go as planned both Grindelwald and Voldemort will be making moves in the next chapter and a special guest star will be making a appearance just as you requested.
bluestorm28- Totally mean Leta Lestrange as a special request from one of my favorite and regular reviewers. It will be plot relevant and explained.
BioHazard82- As always thank you for the encouragement.
AN- Late and short I know. Unfortunately, the flu, the snow which trapped me at a hotel near work for two days with no computer access (try to never be a essential worker it's not worth it.) and a busted water pipe which required extra work hours to pay for it all conspired against me. I also had trouble with one of the scenes and ended up doing a fade to black. Didn't get to the alley because I wanted to get something up. I will try really hard not to take so long again.
AN-I know in the books and movies Harry's wand is a medium dark wood but in reality, Holly wood is a pale wood so I'm going with that cause its suits what I see for the Head of house's room.
CHAPTER THIRTY TWO
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
Juniper stepped aside to let the others enter ahead of her reaching out to catch Peter's arm as he nearly tripped over the same troll leg umbrella stand Tonks always tripped over. Juniper gave it a scowl half convinced it was intentional. Tonks wasn't incredibly graceful, but she was a trained auror and now that the thing had tripped up Peter, she was even more sure.
The others were looking over the entry hall seeming a bit surprised. Even Ron and Hermione as Kreacher had been working hard to repair and clean since they'd left. The gas lamps on the tables were lit up as where the candles in the ornate chandelier hanging from the ceiling, the once peeling wallpaper had been replaced green with gold Fleur De Lis knowing the Black's penchant for self indulgence and Kreacher's habit of defaulting to his old master's preferences probably with real gold leaf. The faded carpet was once again the slightly darker green that it had been originally. The walls had once been lined with portraits of long dead Blacks, but Juniper had removed most of them not willing to chance them having copies elsewhere so that they could pass information back to their enemies leaving empty spaces on the walls. Some had been replaced by other portraits that had been hidden away in the attic portraits of members of the family that had blasted off the family tapestry for one reason or the other most prominently Iola Black, Phineas Black, Cedrella Black-Weasley, Alphard Black, Dorea Black-Potter, and oh course Sirius, Regulus and Andromeda as children. A few of the frames where empty the subjects having wandered off to other portraits bored with sitting around the empty house. But Dorea beamed at the sight of her granddaughter and put a finger to her lips motioning towards the covered portrait of Walburga Black the one portrait even Juniper hadn't been able to remove. Juniper waved back with a smile and nodded waving the others past it. Not wanting to wake the beast.
Hermione led the way to the drawing room Kreacher had been busy here too the large windows overlooking the street in front of the house had been cleaned so completely not a smudge remained, the large fireplace flanked by two ornate glass-fronted cabinets was lit the chairs sitting around them where a mix of what looked like the kind of antiques that belonged in a museum, as did the writing desk against one wall and a group of more modern comfortable looking chairs and a sofa. The opposite wall was covered with a tapestry of the Black family tree scorch marks on it where family members had been blasted off for displaying Unblack like behavior. Beside it sat the piano Hermione had tried to teach Ron to play shined to a high sheen.
"Wow." Peter said crossing to the cabinets still filled with things like a phoenix egg, a hand of glory, snakes carved from jade with ruby eyes, others twisted from silver, or carved into pottery encrusted with jewels, silver, and gold boxes with carvings in long dead languages, jewelry most with snake motifs, and other things unidentifiable to muggle eyes.
"Don't touch anything." Juniper warned. "Kretcher said he stored anything dark or harmful, but elves especially Black elves have a different gauge for that than most."
Tony was looking around too. This place was almost the opposite of the tower. Where everything in his home was sleek modern and ultra-high tech this house was like something from some Victorian era gothic movie set. Except it was all authentic. Unless he missed his guess Juniper could have sold one of those two chairs in front of the fireplace and bought a nice house with the proceeds. He'd heard the wizards refer to Juniper as a heiress and mention had been made of her having both wealth and political power but so much had been going on that he'd never put much thought into exactly what they'd meant. He started to speak but Bucky beat him to it.
"Doll, exactly how rich are you?" Bucky asked looking around at the furnishings that even when he was a child would have screamed old world money.
"Umm, hard to say really." Juniper said with a shrug looking uneasy. The look of someone so deprived as a child she'd been malnourished and never had new clothes bought for her until she was eleven who now had more money than she could spend in five lifetimes.
"The Blacks where one of the richest families in wizarding Britain at one point. They tended to be self-indulgent though, so they spent a lot as well. I think a lot of that wealth is wrapped up in properties at this point including two islands and homes across the world. There are still several vaults in Gringotts that now belong to Juniper. The Potters on the other hand only gained more wealth especially when Charlus James's father was head the man had the Midas touch. Anything he invested in became profitable. The talent skipped James but considering how well the twin's shop, and The Quibbler are doing Juniper inherited it. Juniper still owns a share of more than a few businesses in wizarding districts across the world. Including Ogden's Old Fire whisky and the money from her share is automatically deposited into her vaults. You'd have to get a audit from the Goblins to know for sure." Remus explained remembering things he'd learned from Sirius. "There is also another vault that holds inheritances left to Juniper from Witches and Wizards who left her gifts in their wills grateful that she defeated Voldemort when she was a baby. All in all, I'd say when everything is combined, she'd be one of the top five wealthiest people in the wizarding world."
Juniper shrugged. "Moneys not a problem I'll ever have."
Clint grinned. "You weren't kidding when you said she was the Tony Stark of the wizarding world." He told Ron.
Ron snorted and plopped down on one of the sofas. "You wouldn't be so impressed if you'd had to help clean this place out. It was in horrible shape for a while. Doxies and Boggarts and dark items that did their best to kill us."
"Juniper, I'm going to head down and check the dungeons and make sure they'll hold Moony." Remus told her.
"You weren't exaggerating where you?" Rhody asked. "When you said dungeon, I thought you just meant like a solid basement but looking at this place..."
"Nope a real dungeon with cells and torture implements and everything." Juniper answered with a slight shudder. "I've only been down there once."
Tony, Clint, Rhody, and Peter exchanged looks. "I've got to see this." Tony said speaking for them all.
"Be my guest." Juniper said and tried not to laugh as they followed Remus out of the room the older men looking just as much like eager teenage boys as Peter. Steve followed his face more serious wanting to see where Remus was going to be locked up the next night.
She looked over at Bucky. "No urge to see the dungeons?" She asked him.
Bucky shook his head. "I've seen more than enough cells to last me a lifetime Doll." He said softly. Juniper grimaced slightly and reached out hooking a finger through the dog tags he wore around his neck and used them to pull him closer until she could slide her arms around his waist.
"You're not feeling intimidated by all this junk, are you?" Juniper asked softly. Hermione had crossed to the piano and had started playing it drawing the attention of the others left in the room, so they had a bit of privacy.
Bucky wrapped his arms around her pulling her close and resting his forehead against hers. The truth was he was a bit. He'd been born and raised in a time when it was a man's job to take care of his woman. That had definitely included financially. More women had started working outside the home during the war and truthfully that had been the type he'd been more attracted to girls that had their own jobs and ambitions beyond marriage and kids, but he had always assumed that when he did eventually marry, he would be the one bringing in the money. He had a healthy bank account as he'd been only declared MIA not dead, so his military salary had kept coming in. A perk of being friends with a stubborn and powerful man like Howard Stark who had demanded that both he and Steve stay on the MIA list unless and until their bodies were found. He knew he'd done it so the search would continue, and it was more on Steve's behalf than his, but it had kept the checks coming. 70-years of pay with no bills had left them both rather well off but not on the level Juniper obviously was. He'd definitely never have to worry she was with him for money that was for sure.
"A bit." He admitted. "I'll get over it."
"The money doesn't mean anything to me you know. I could give it all to charity if it'd make you feel better. The only reason this house means anything is this is the place where I have memories of Sirius." Juniper said.
"No. Thats your legacy doll. I want you to have that security. It's just...I can't do much to protect you from the wizards and you have more money than I ever will even before you factor in being Stark's kid. I'm supposed to be taking care of you." Bucky answered laying a kiss on her forehead.
"We're supposed to take care of each other caveman." Juniper said a teasing tone in her voice. "You make me feel safe. You chase away the nightmares. You've given me hope that I have a future and you are part of the reason I fought to come back. Who cares if I have more money, it doesn't mean anything to me. I've lived without it before and could do it again but...you I need."
Bucky smiled at her and gently kissed her. "Ohhh come on you two. Can't I turn my back for two seconds." Ron yelped turning and seeing them.
"Do you really need six brothers wouldn't five be a whole lot easier to manage?" Bucky asked Juniper giving Ron a playful glare.
Juniper giggled softly. "That would annoy Mrs. Weasley. You do not want to see her annoyed."
"Mistress Tea is ready Kretcher prepared all of your favorites as you missed lunch." The little elf said seemingly appearing from nowhere. "Kretcher has the dining room all set for Mistress and her guests."
"Thank you Kretcher." Juniper said.
"Tea? Isn't that like dinner?" Peter asked as they rejoined the group his face just a little paler. He must have seen the blood stains that had never been quite removed from some of the tool's downstairs. And the floor and the wall and okay the ceiling too. "It was only like what four or so when we left New York?"
"London is five hours ahead of New York. Its closer to nine here." Hermione told him nodding for him to look out the window where it was already dark stars shining in the sky. Not as bright as they were at Hogwarts but they were far enough from the main hub of London that they were more visible than in New York. Especially Sirius. The brightest star in the sky.
"As long as you can see the dog star." She whispered softly eyes locked on it remembering what Sirius had once told her. 'As long as you can see the dog star, you'll know I'm watching over you.'
Remus whose eyes had been on the same star looked over to her and came over putting a arm around her and kissing the top of her head. "Come on. Let's eat. If we're going to Diagon early we should get some sleep, try to readjust to London time."
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
"It's not funny. My phones dead, my laptops dead, my tablets dead." Peter wailed mournfully.
"We told you your tech probably wouldn't work here. Too much magic in the fabric of the house." Juniper reminded him. She was trying not to laugh honestly, she was but his expression when he realized the batteries on all his toys where dead was priceless. "Just get some sleep Peter tomorrow we're going to Diagon Alley, and we'll get you some books about why wizards think that happens so you and Dad can try to figure a way around it."
"Feels too early to sleep. And it's too quiet." Peter said with a mournful look even though there was a spark of interest at the thought of exploring a new technological mystery.
"You can play monopoly with us Peter." Hermione offered from where she was setting up the board for a game between herself Ron, Natasha, Clint and Rhody. Tony and Pepper having gone out into the garden.
"Umm you know what I am starting to feel tiered." Peter said and faked a yawn. He knew how competitive Natasha could get even over a game like monopoly and he wanted no part of it. "I'm going to head upstairs."
"Juni, Bucky you want to play?" Hermione asked.
"No, we're good. I'm going To give Bucky a tour of the house and then maybe we'll play some cards before bed." Juniper answered brightly catching Bucky's hand before he could answer.
"Oh? Cards is that what you're calling it now?" Natasha asked her lips twitching in amusement.
"As long as Uncle Rhody is listening then yes that is what we're calling it." Juniper said giving Natasha a bright grin and tugging Bucky away. Bucky trying to smother a grin at the glare Rhody was giving him allowed her to pull him away quite willingly.
They made it to the entry hall and probably would have made it upstairs without incident if it hadn't been for that evil troll leg umbrella stand. Juniper would have sworn it was across the room closer to the front door well away from the staircase until suddenly it seemed to somehow be tangled around both her and Bucky's feet. Bucky probably could have kept them on their feet except his attention was on the elf heads hanging on the wall lining the staircase. He was trying to convince himself it was just tasteless tacky decorations but from what he'd heard about the Blacks he truly knew better. Then Juniper was falling her hand still in his. She started to let go but he held on to her hand and reached out to grab her around the waist with his other arm but then something was around his ankles, and he was falling too.
Juniper reached out instinctively reaching for something, anything to keep herself from falling with her other hand and the thing she grabbed was the curtain covering Walburga Black's portrait. pulling it completely off. Bucky may have still been able to keep himself from falling but instead he twisted bot wanted to risk landing on Juniper and crushing her. He looked over up at Juniper a grin on his face assuming they could both have a laugh at the fall but instead she was staring at the curtain in her hand her eyes widening in alarm. "Uhoh." She nearly whispered. Then it started.
"MUDBLOOD! FILTHY MUGGLES FOULING MY HOUSE WITH THEIR PRESENCE. HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU ALLOW THIS TRASH INTO MY HOUSE!" Bucky jerked back in surprise eyes flying up to find the voice was coming of the portrait of a obviously deranged woman. Steel grey hair pulled back away from a face with a wild expression, large grey eyes with a mad light in them. The wall surrounding it was damaged holes burned and blown in it where Sirius, Remus, and other members of The Order of the Phoenix had tried to remove the bloody thing. Even Mad-eye, Dumbledore, and Juniper had failed.
"HEY JUNI, Your Aunt Walburga is awake." Ron yelled from the drawing room.
"Thanks Ron I'm aware." Juniper yelled back. It was surprising how much dry sarcasm she was able to pack into four words as she kicked the umbrella stand away from her and Bucky and stood.
"It's NOT YOUR house anymore Aunt Walburga." Juniper yelled at the portrait. Bucky was still sitting in the floor staring at the portrait and Juniper was a little worried that he'd just hit the limit on his weird shit acceptance meter. So far, he and the Avengers had been taking all the eccentric quirks of the wizarding world extremely well. Oh, course they were super heroes who'd fought aliens and a god but still maybe semi-sentient, pureblood fanatic portraits where his limit. Merlin, if she lost Bucky over this, she was going to burn the whole wall down if that's what it took to get rid of her aunt once and for all. "This is MY HOUSE! You are NOTHING. Nothing but paint and memories."
"YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A FREAK. A FREAKISH LITTLE MUDBLOOD. YOU ARE NOT WORTHY OF THE BLACK NAME."
Freak. Somewhere in the back of her mind she heard Ron swear from the other room and the sound of both him and Hermione jumping up. They both knew that word was a trigger for her. It had been her relative's favorite adjective for her. Hell, her aunt had only called her by her name when they were in public. It had never been just the word but the absolute hatred and disgust she'd managed to pack into that one syllable. Malfoy had called her that once. Only once something about the look she'd given him had made him pale and turn tail and run. At the time she hadn't known why she now suspected he'd seen something in her face that had reminded him of Bellatrix.
"I AM NOT A FREAK!" Juniper screamed to her own ears she sounded almost as deranged as her aunt. "I AM THE DAUGHTER OF LILY POTTER, JAMES POTTER, AND TONY STARK. I AM THE GODDAUGHTER OF SIRIUS BLACK AND ALICE LONGBOTTOM. I AM THE HEAD OF HOUSE POTTER AND HOUSE BLACK AND YOU WILL BY MERLIN NOT USE THAT WORD IN MY HOUSE!" She wasn't consciously aware that Kreacher had crept to her side and reached up curling one of his little hands into her jumper leaning into her side, but her hand reached down to rest on his head lightly.
Walburga's painted eyes flicked to the elf, and it seemed to enrage her even further that her most faithful servant seemed to have transferred his loyalty to Juniper. "You are just like your mother a WORTHLESS MUDBLOOD WHO..." The only warning was a humming sound then the beam of red light hit the portrait blowing a hole in the wall and destroying the portrait completely.
Every eye in the room which Juniper suddenly realized was everyone turned to look at Tony shock in all the magic user's faces. His gauntlet covered his arm to the elbow and was still smoking slightly his expression furious. "Nobody talks to my daughter like that."
"Do you have any idea how many spells, potions, charms, and curses we used on that portrait trying to get rid of it?" Remus said his voice shocked.
Suddenly Hermione's eyes went wider than they already were. "Magic. All magic. Did anyone ever try muggle means to destroy it." Ron and Remus looked at each other then both burst into laughter as they realized the answer was a resounding no. "Wizards." she muttered under her breathe shaking her head.
Juniper turned her eyes back to the wall. It looked like her dad's blast had taken the entire portrait out neatly and completely. The frame still existed but now it was framing a hole into the dining room on the other side of the wall the far wall not even singed. Walburga had just been completely obliterated as if she'd never been. Petunia still existed though. With her hatred and anger and her complete conviction that Juniper was a freak.
Gentle hands suddenly settled on her shoulder's. She knew immediately whose they were one was a few degrees cooler than the other, but it was more than that. Bucky always touched her as if she were delicate and precious. "Doll, you, okay?" He asked her pulling her back against his chest.
"I'm not a freak." She said her voice trembling. It had been a extremely effective insult when she'd been the little girl who'd been too strange, too small, and too smart. When weird things had happened to her and she'd had no friends and no one who loved her. When she'd found out she was a witch meaning there was a explanation for all the weird things and that there where others like her the relief had nearly made her glow with happiness. But then in the wizarding world she was still strange and abnormal. Stronger than the others, the defeater of a dark lord as a child, a prophecy child who was destined to save the world. People still treated her as different and other. Like a freak. At first only Ron, Hermione, and the twins had treated her like everyone else at least when they got over the initial surprise of who she was.
Bucky took a deep breathe anger flaring in his eyes as he had a memory of the first night, they'd met the trio. Something Ron had confided to them. 'They called her freak so often it was the only name she knew before she started school.'
"No, you're not." Bucky assured her gently kissing the top of her head.
Juniper took a deep breath and leaned back against him a little more.
"Some people have called me a freak sometimes too Juniper. It only means not normal and who wants to be normal anyway. Normal people don't get to be a Avenger." Peter offered causing Juniper's eyes which had started to close to pop open.
"Who called you a freak?" She asked with all the indignation she had once shown on behalf of Luna Lovegood when she'd been teased.
"Umm not sure I should tell you that. Wouldn't want them getting tossed off any towers or anything." Peter said awkwardly actually making Juniper smile relaxing for the moment.
"How did that thing work anyway?" Ron asked quickly grabbing the chance to change the subject. "If Peters little fellytone battery didn't work your arm thing shouldn't either right."
"Fellytone?" Tony repeated then shook his head. "Yeah, we'll talk about that part later. While Juni was taking her little two-day nap, we got a package from Wakanda it wasn't a lot of Vibranium but it was enough to encase my gauntlets, Rhody's gauntlets, Nat, Clint and Bucky's guns, and Sam's jet pack. Not only do these babies work around magic they'll also deflect it just like Bucky's arm and Steve's shield."
"Thats amazing." Hermione said her eyes wide and admiring. Tony considered telling her it was a accidental discovery but then a shocking amount of science was just that accidental discoveries. He'd just have to hope that when history looked back on this one it was more like penicillin than radiation poisoning.
Hermione glanced at Juniper out of the corner of her eye then put a hand on Tony's arm as if to lead him back into the drawing room. "How does it work? Why Vibranium? What properties make it different than say steel, or copper?"
Juniper leaned her head back against Bucky's shoulder to look up at him with a grin both knowing Hermione was trying to draw Tony away so they could sneak away with no drama. Bucky smiled back and keeping one arm around her started to guide her towards the stairs.
"Vibranium absorbs sound waves and other vibrations, including kinetic energy. That makes it stronger than the other metals and I'm working under the assumption that it also absorbs magic which would imply it's also a kind of energy. And just where are you two going?"
"You're getting better at this dad stuff." Clint complimented Tony with a slight grin. He was well practiced in knowing when Cooper or Lila were trying to distract him so the other could get away with something but he hadn't expected Tony to catch on to the tactic so quickly.
"Just going upstairs. Geez, dad relax." Juniper answered.
This time Clint actually laughed that second sentence one he'd heard from his kids. "And she's getting better at this daughter stuff too."
"Why don't you stay down here with us?" Tony asked. It had been different at the tower with Jarvis keeping a eye on everything.
"Come on Tony don't you remember being young and in love?" Natasha asked.
"How could I not when the result of me being young and in love is currently trying to sneak upstairs with her boyfriend?" Tony asked in a dry tone.
"Yeah, well dad me and Bucky are a little smarter than you and mum. We aren't going to be having any little accidents." Juniper informed him with a sigh.
"Accident?" Tony repeated looking at her in surprise. "You are not a accident you are my little girl. My kid. The best surprise I ever got and the best thing I've ever done. But I am wayyy to young and irresponsible to be a grandfather."
Juniper couldn't seem to decide if she should be touched or amused by that and settled for stepping closer to kiss his cheek lightly. "Goodnight dad. Get some sleep we got a long day tomorrow." She stepped back took Bucky's hand and started up the stairs.
"Juniper!" Tony protested.
"I'm a grown-up dad and this is my house. Don't be a prude." Juniper answered without turning.
That shocked Tony into speechlessness as Clint, Natasha, and Rhody all burst into laughter even Pepper smirked.
"That must be the only insult no one has ever thrown at you before." Rhody gasped as the couple disappeared upstairs.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
It was the head of house suite, but it didn't look anything like what Juniper would have expected in the ancient and noble house of Black. There was a smaller drawing room with a glass case that held only her order of Merlin, a long couch of light brown and two straight back chairs with maroon cushions around the large crackling fireplace there was a desk set in one corner papers stacked neatly a red feather quill and bottle of ink the only things on it. In the other corner was a old fashion record player much like the one Bucky and Steve had in their apartment back in the 40s. Through the door she could see the huge bed with the red quilts and gold pillows and curtains. All of the wooden furniture was the same pale wood as her holly wand, the thick carpet a silvery color as if Kretcher hadn't been able to go completely Gryffindor in redecorating the room for his new master. The walls where all a soft blue and bare except for a large Gryffindor banner on one of the walls of the drawing room a picture underneath of the Gryffindor quidditch team from 5th year when she was made captain of the team. Sirius's picture no doubt. He'd been so proud. She couldn't help but be pleased of how well Kretcher had suppressed his instincts to go for dark and gaudy in the Black tradition.
"This is nice. Your elf did good." Bucky told her hugging her from behind before walking over to look at the picture the players waving at him happily. "You where the captain?" He asked seeing the badge on her robes.
"Yup. Oliver Wood who was the former captain and trained me recommended I take the position when he graduated. I wasn't as good as it as he was, but I had Ginny to help." She pointed out the tall red-haired girl who had a arm around her neck. "Another Weasley."
"The one you saved from the basilisk?" Bucky asked.
"That would be her. At the time I really went after her because...because she was Ron's sister and because her parents and brothers had been so nice to me but now, she's like a little sister to me." Juniper said there was something in her voice that made Bucky pull her close.
"We'll keep her safe Juni. We'll be with her and the others at Hogwarts soon and we'll get the younger students out." Juniper hugged him tightly for a moment burying her face against his chest then she pulled back slightly to look up at him.
"Thats not why I brought you up here you know." She told him biting her bottom lip slightly her eyes warm as she looked up at him.
A smirk appeared on Bucky's face. "So, your dads not going to come pounding on the door?" He asked.
"No one can even find the door unless I want them too. A final safety feature so no heirs can remove the head of house in their sleep." Juniper answered with a impish grin. "It's soundproof, and magic proof. Trust me no one's interrupting this time."
"Thank god for paranoid Black wizards." Bucky muttered and then lowered his head meeting Juniper's lips with his own. There was no holding back this time no hesitation and God she tasted sweet. Strawberries and chocolate Bucky had the feeling he was getting addicted to Juniper's kisses. He straightened slightly smirking slightly at her slightly dazed expression and whimper of objection. "Are you sure Juni, doll? I need you to be sure. We don't have to do anything you're not ready for."
Juniper looked up at him and took a step back he let her go even though it caused him almost physical pain. Then she gave him a look that could only be described as wicked one that turned his blood to fire. She grabbed the bottom of her sweater and pulled both it and her camisole over her head tossing them in the direction of the desk. "What do you think Sergeant Barnes?" She asked in a tone she only could have learned from Natasha.
For a moment Bucky felt like he couldn't breathe his gaze sweeping over Juniper hot and hungry. "I think your perfect." He finally gasped out then reached out and pulled her into his body with a sound like a growl kissing her as if he was starving for her bringing a gasp from Juniper who clung to him returning the kiss with the same fervor as her hands pushed under the back of his shirt. Bucky picked her up so that her legs wrapped around his waist and without breaking the kiss he carried her into the bedroom and tumbled her into the bed with the red quilt and all the golden pillows. She looked like a angel. The thought barely flitted through Bucky's mind as he pulled off his own shirt before joining her.
Juniper looking up at Bucky her eyes cloudy with lust her breathing coming hard. She would have felt self conscious about her body if it hadn't been for the way Bucky was looking at her. His look made her feel beautiful that this man this handsome, strong, good man wanted her so much was a intoxicating feeling. Then he removed his own shirt, and her breath was completely stolen. She'd known he was fit but the sight of that chiseled chest and perfect 6-pack looked more like a fantasy than anything that could be real.
"Like what you see?" He asked with a smirk as he joined her on the bed and pulled her close again.
"I think your perfect." Juniper answered he gave her a smile before kissing her again.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
"Is it always like that?" Juniper's question her voice sleepy and sated made Bucky smile a bit.
"No." Bucky answered honestly. He didn't know if it was because he'd never felt this way about anyone before or if it was because it had been so long since he'd been with a woman but being with Juniper had been different, better. It meant more because she mattered more. "It was never like that. You and me it's...magical."
A soft laugh escaped Juniper as she snuggled even closer where she was laying curled against him head on his chest. "Thats good. Otherwise, no one would ever get anything else done."
"Oh, you are good for my ego." He said softly running a hand up and down her back bringing a soft sound that sounded almost like a purr from her. "Maybe I should call you kitten from now on." He teased.
"Umm, I like it when you call me doll." Juniper admitted and something in her tone made Bucky wonder if she was talking in her sleep again.
"I like it when you call me Sergeant Barnes." Bucky answered.
"...love you...Sergeant Barnes." That time she was definitely talking in her sleep.
"I love you too doll." Bucky answered gently and holding her protectively drifted off to sleep himself.

AN- Okay I admit it I may have enjoyed having Tony a muggle use a muggle weapon to destroy Walburga's portrait a bit too much.
AN- So was the fade out okay or do you totally hate it and consider it cheating? I wasn't sure how far to take it as I want Juniper and Bucky to be more romance than sex driven. If you all consider it a bad show, I can write a quick outtake for it and put in more in later romantic moments. Love you all!
