Chapter Grumpy: Lumpy Su

Dale landed on the roof and flexed his pecs such that the laser module on his chest shot more deadly strife all around the cityscape.

"Dale… Before this all ends… I must ask… why?" murmured Nelson, panting heavily.

Dale lowered his glasses. "Nelson… You always were the favourite student… But maybe Oogway wasn't all he was cracked up to be. You ever think that?"

"Master Oogway believed in purity and sheer honour!" shouted Nelson.

"Sometimes those ideals are befuddled by emotion…" said Dale slowly. He and Nelson circled the perimeter, keeping the same diameter between them at all times like religious geometry.

"So, this is it… You're going to save the world by destroying every good in it? Is that your sick, twisted game?" Nelson spat.

"All good things must come to an end, Nelson…" Dale sighed. "Time to let the darkness flourish!"

Dale shot another heaven-splitting blast from his core. This time Nelson couldn't dodge.

"But I do have one way to quell you, old friend…" Nelson took a robotic eyeball out of his pocket and put it into the centre of his bionic hand. He powered up and shot a laser too. The two lasers met in a colourful blast of red and blue. It was like the Sith versus Jedi except with eyeballs.

That eyeball… could it be? Dale gasped within.

"I return our friendship tenfold, Dale…" said Nelson. "Now heel!"

SPARK!

KABOOM!

CHEESE!

Indeed, the lasers finally overtook one another and a giant cheesewheel hung in the sky above Thorndyke Industries.

It descended, crushing the building and all of its inhabitants.
