Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Water and Earth. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own DM, Coolkyoushinja and a few others do.

(Arthur's house)

Arthur looked up from where he sat, far more curious over what he and Elma were going to do today.

"I've never been on a date before, you know." Arthur heard from Elma as he shrugged at the moment.

"Neither have I." Arthur put in as he shook his head back and forth. "I'm a dragon. We don't really do much besides fight or defend our home… You know how much war Harmony dragons used to be put through daily." Arthur put in as he stood up and looked around.

He was far more curious in why their trains of thought had gone to the idea of a date… Then again? Arthur found the idea somewhat amusing if anything.

That and it took their attention off the fact the neither had much to do at the moment. Arthur would be off for a few days and Elma didn't work much yet.

"You know I'm going to be buying the majority of the food at the moment." Arthur said as he got up to get ready for the date. "You are going t have to help me at some point." Arthur said, getting the dragon woman to puff up in annoyance.

That also amused him. Elma started to become more and more like his roommate more then another dragon every day. He felt more like this was simply 2 neighbors sharing a house then a pair of scabbling dragons.

"I help around the house when NEEDED." Elma stated in a tone that made Arthur raise an eyebrow. "Don't think I contribute NOTHING to the home. I don't like the idea of helping someone without payment." Elma said as Arthur rolled his eyes.

"I'm the one that helps make all the food, Elm." Arthur said and looked up at the ceiling with amusement. "You know for a fact that I do… And my point is I don't like when I do a lot of work without much thanks." Arthur said and got Elma to look at the ground.

Arthur sighed and pulled off his shirt to replace it.

"I'm not saying you haven't at the moment." Arthur said and cracked his fingers. "I'm saying we should do something that isn't constant bickering. We've been constantly at our throats when we aren't eating. I feel like I'm feeding a dinosaur." Arthur said which got a raised eyebrow from Elma.

"Their big lizards like us." Artur said and pulled on another shirt. "C'mon, come with me. I'll show you." Arthur said as he went to get fully changed.

Elma looked at the Earth Dragon. She had a bit of curiosity in the idea that Earth might have had dragons of their own.

Were there thousands of rouge dragons? She very many of the Chaos and Harmony dragons were focused on the war… But many of them wanted the war to be done.

Arthur watched Elma leave. He was glad he hadn't done her shopping on top of the long list of things he had done. That would have been awkward to the furthest degree when it came down to it.

Arthur sighed and looked back at his drawers. He had a feeling that today would be a very long day.

"Today is going to be very interesting, isn't it?" Arthur asked himself and got no answer. "I'm a dragon from another world…. And I'm talking to myself more then anything. Oy." Arthur muttered to himself while brushing off his shirt.

Arthur could only ponder what would become of that other dragon he and Elma had battled. Who were they? Who had they belonged to? Why were they here? Were they after something on Earth?

He couldn't believe it was nothing. Dragons didn't come to earth without business… Meaning either that monster had fought earth before… Or something else was going on.

He decided to put that on hold for later. There were far better things to focus on. He could only ponder how long it would be until he bumped into them again.

"Elm, you almost ready to go?" Arthur questioned as he sighed and looked up at the ceiling. "I do want to go out today and relax." Arthur said while humming and rubbed at his eyes once more.

"I'll be out soon enough!" Elma put up as Arthur rubbed at his eyes at the moment.

"Fair enough." Arthur said while sighing in exhaustion. "There's plenty to do today and not much time to do it." Arthur said and pondered to himself what would happen next.

There would certainly be more fights sooner or such. He couldn't understand what the dragon from before wanted… But he could tell that he had to deal with them sooner or later.

Arthur walked out of his room with Elma following from her own room. Elma said nothing for a moment as Arthur brushed off his jacket.
