Arthur was taken aback by quite a bit…. He had fought Chaos Dragons hellbent on destroying all of the planet. He had held back tragedies that could cause unknown amounts of tragedy to Earth.

Getting kissed accidently by a Harmony Dragon? No. That was something that had nothing that had happened to it. Arthur was quite curious about what was going to next. Elma looked around, quite flustered as well which made Arthur far more embarrassed than he believed he any right to be.

The duo retreated, Arthur going to get changed in his room and Elma quietly retiring to hers. Neither felt like sleeping in another room, but both felt awkward, as if they had stepped within a pool of water and neither could really undo this from moving forward.

"Um…" Arthur started to say as he pulled on black pants and a red shirt for a moment. "You good, Elm?" Arthur said as he cracked his fingers, looking out at the moon above which shown down on them like a diamond.

Elma emerged from her own room draped in a blue shirt and whiteish pants. She nodded as the water dragon slowly moved towards her bed, curious as to what was going to happen next.

Still? Both dragons were WELL aware of how weird things could be, this was NOT going to change their bond.

"Are you sure you're, ok?" Arthur questioned as he slowly but surely laid down into his sleeping bag. "Do you think I hate you or something?" Arthur questioned as he paused to look around for a moment.

"No…" Elma said, sliding her feet into her sleeping bag. "But you and I are friends and…" Elma started to say as Arthur raised an eyebrow.

His eyes seemed to glisten like emeralds in the dark. A trait common with Earth Dragons as they often lived in caverns, it made sense they could see into the dark… But what didn't? Arthur's eyes seemed locked onto her as he sprouted his tail and used it to flick the lights off.

"I'm just caught off guard, Em. I've never had someone do that before." Arthur said as he quickly withdrew his tail back into his human form. "I didn't expect you to do that, I do care about you. I wouldn't let you stay here and gorge yourself on food if I didn't." Arthur said as Elma pouted and grabbed one of her pillows to throw at Arthur.

If the Earth Dragon was at all bothered by this? He didn't show it, being more amused by her antics than anything else. He said nothing as she let out a growl which seemed to make her face contort as Arthur was silent.

"Your cute when you're mad." Arthur said, closing his eyes as Elma's face quickly grew red with anger.

She didn't know how to respond to that. No dragon had ever called her cute to begin with, nor was she not confused on how Arthur had seemed to recover from his previous freak-out. Elma questioned if Arthur had come to terms with such a thing and was simply teasing her to get a rise out of her. Something she'd rip him apart for if he was. She was also curious about what happened to her friends, Tohru was oddly silent for someone eager to rip planets to pieces.

"Arthur, are you awake?" Elma asked which was greeted by the dragon slowly opening one eye a moment later. "Are you messing with me?" Elma questioned as Arthur hummed and shrugged for a minute.

"Define 'messing with you.'" Arthur said as he paused to hum once more. "I mess with you often, what do you want me to say, Em?" Arthur questioned as he started to try and sleep.

He knew for a fact that she was thinking about the accidental kiss. She could only point out that something was going to come from it. Arthur couldn't bury something that wouldn't stay buried at the end of the day.

"Hmm…" Arthur said to herself while he cracked his tail with a nod. "Em? Are you good? Your very quiet?" Arthur asked while he started to sit up a moment later.

Arthur watched her slowly rise from her bed. Arthur rolled his eyes and looked at her with such an interest it almost made him giggle to himself.

"Em?" Arthur questioned which managed to get a blink from the woman as slowly but surely sat up.

"I've never kissed someone before, ok?" Elma asked while Arthur blinked before the Harmony Dragon slowly walked towards him a second later. "I didn't mean to, now I feel like you're mad at me for it." Elma said which only managed to get a roll of the eyes from him.

Arthur pulled himself from his spot, turning to her as he pulled his legs from under him.

"I'm not mad, just… Caught off guard, ok? I didn't know how to respond." Arthur said as he scratched at his neck with a sigh. "That was… My first kiss as well, ok? It's not something you just forget about. I'm just not sure what to say about it." Arthur stated with a smirk as he tried to think of words to say.

He was interrupted by Elma pulling herself onto the sofa, forcing him to make room for the Water Dragon. He could see her ocean blue eyes glisten with interest as she thought of the date.

It was nice, not something she was used to. Elma looked at the emerald eyed Earth Dragon who seemed to wait to hear what she would say, transfixed on the next words to exit her mouth.

"Do you think I hate you for kissing me by accident?" Arthur asked with an eyebrow raised as Elma shrugged. "How do… You, feel about that? I've seen you watch plenty of TV when I've worked, I know your aware of what kissing is, right?" Arthur asked with a smirk as he almost seemed to watch the steam pour from her ears.

She sat closer to him, forcing Arthur to lean against the back part of the sofa. Arthur did nothing to stop her, curious what she would say or do if he gave her the chance.

"Kissing is something you do with someone you love, right? It's a romantic thing between humans." Elma asked as Arthur nodded and then started to look around.

"Yes, Elm… That's what kissing is." Arthur said while he cracked his fingers with a grunt of pain from the way he slept. "Why do you ask?" Arthur questioned as he raised an eyebrow with a wry smile still plastered upon his face.

"It was… Neat, I don't regret doing it, you know." Elma said before hiding her face in her hands.

'Gee, it's almost like you didn't care my face had pasta sauce on it, Em.' Arthur thought to himself as he nodded.

"Ok, do you like it then?" Arthur asked which got a nod as he slowly sat up a moment later. "Then what would you like to do now? I can pretend to forget about it if you want… Maybe I will?" Arthur said, knowing EXACTLY how Elma might respond.

The woman pinned him to the sofa as he raised an eyebrow, letting her know exactly how amusing he found it. Still? He was aware how dangerous Elma could be if given a reason to be like that and it wasn't something he wanted to see.

"This is awkward." Arthur pointed out, raising an eyebrow towards Elma while the woman looked at him with anger.

Arthur was silent, more amused at the end of the day. He knew for a fact that Elma wasn't going to do something. It would be something that would anger her a lot at the end of the day… But it wouldn't exactly stop her from remembering how kind Arthur was.

"Em, say something." Arthur said, managing to pull part of himself up to lean on the sofa. "You not talking is actually worse. I like when you talk, it's nice, and soothing…" Arthur said as Elma blushed.

Arthur decided not to stir the pot, well aware this woman was simply confused and unsure what to say or do. Despite all his snark? He was unsure what to say or do in this situation and it wasn't like he didn't care about Elma.

"Stop saying so many stupid things." Elma muttered as she let the earth dragon go and slowly staggered towards the fridge. "I don't know what to think. I just acted, ok? I didn't…" Elma started to say before opening the door and gathering her leftovers.

Arthur could only hum, unsure what to say or do to the woman who he currently shared a home with. It wasn't like the earth dragon was going to snark at her for eating. He did have SOME sense of standards, after all.

"Do you want me to lie and tell you you're disgusting?" Arthur asked, rising from the couch. "Because I'm snarky, not a jerk, Em. I'm just not sure what to say at the moment." Arthur added while he cracked his fingers as he hummed as he started to think as he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

Still? He knew that something was going to slowly started to think while pondering what happened next. Arthur looked at her, crossing his arms over his chest as he sighed while knew for a fact that something was going to be quite that something was going to change at the moment.

"You should know this isn't going to be forgotten so easily." Arthur stated which got a nod from Elma who sat down while she started to think about what to say next. "Do you want me to say I don't care about you at all? Em? I care enough to talk about you like I am now. I'm not lying, not trying to snark, not making up some silly joke." Arthur said as he closed his eyes to ponder his next move.

There was something coming on the horizon. something slowly building up and up the further he thought about it. Still? If he was that worried about this moment? He didn't show it to begin with.

"Do you want to have that awkward talk now?" Arthur asked as he slowly stepped forward towards Elma. "Or tomorrow? Because it needs to be done. I don't care if you want to throw me through the wall when this is done. I don't really concern myself with you being upset and yelling at me… The talk needs to be done and the sooner it's over with? The sooner we can get our feelings sorted." Arthur said, pausing only to scratch at his neck as he thought about what to do next.

"Yes." Elma said, starting to unwrap her food as she slowly but surely walked over towards the couch. "Sit." Elma said, her dragon like features beginning to emerge as Arthur shrugged and slowly began to walk and then looked towards her a moment later.

He opened his eyes, taking a seat next to Elma as the two dragons began to reflect on their next words. Arthur clicked his talons together, waiting for Elma to talk so he could respond properly.

"I had a lot to think about back home, you know." Elma started to say as Arthur nodded, giving her a second to continue his talk. "And I liked someone there, but it wasn't the same as you. They hated it so much that they seemed to think about what happened to them at the moment." Arthur stated while he clicked as he shook his head.

"Yes, there's always plenty to think about when it comes to people you love." Arthur stated as Elma blinked a moment later. "And what exactly does that mean? I've cared about things, cared a lot about people, Em. It's a thing a lot of people have in common, you know." Arthur said, trying to add some levity to his words at the moment.

Arthur was going to be amused if he thought about when it comes down to think about the rest of the night. Arthur thought about the next day, curious about how they'd point out that work, curious as what happened next.

This next move would be amusing to him at the second. Arthur thought about his next move, cracking his fingers and looking down at the floor and then up at Elma who was silent, pointing to her with his tail. It slowly wrapped around his body. He looked up at the night sky.

"This is going to be a LONG talk, isn't it?" Arthur questioned, raising an eyebrow in response.
