Quick note before you read this one shot.
Everything scene with Cara in it has also sign language in it.

Jack walks trough the front door of his house, he shuts the door behind him and pulls off, coat hanging it on the coat rack.
The smell of food let him to walk straight to the kitchen to see Cara and Aoife making diner.
'Smells good, what are you making?' He asks, stepping into the kitchen.
'Cara is making her famous spagetti alfredo.' Aoife says while turning around smiling at Jack.
Jack gave Aoife a small smile and broke the eye contact to walk to Cara squeezing her shoulder. Cara smiles and looks at Jack.
'If it tastes as good as it smells we're in for a treat.' Jack said smiling.
'You're going to love it.' Cara signs.
'I bet.' Jack smiles and walks to the table to notice there are 4 plates and 4 sets of cutlery. 'Why are there 4 plates on the table?' Jack asks.
'I invited someone over for dinner,' Aoife says with a smirking.
'Okay.. well who did you invite to my house?' Jack said while looking at Cara and Aoife, Cara gave him a apologetic look.
'You'll see in about 10 minutes,'
'Okay, well i'm going to freshen up a bit, will be back in a couple of minutes.' Jack said and then leaves to go upstairs to quickly freshen up.
When Jack was finished and changed in to more comfortable clothes he walked down the stairs, he really wasn't looking forward to this diner but he only did it for Cara.
His thoughts were interrupted when the doorbell rang, he waited a couple of seconds for Aoife to come and open the door, when she didn't appear he decided to open it himself. He was shocked to see Nikki standing there in a beautiful pink dress with flowers, the dress ended just above her knees and fitted her perfectly.
'Wow- i mean hey! You look beautiful.' Jack says while eyeing her up and down multiple times.
Nikki blushed. 'Hi there.'
'What are you doing here? Not that i don't want you here, i just didn't expect you. Aoife is expecting to join us for diner, i'm not liking that.' Jack sighs.
'Well..-' Nikki begun but was interrupted.
'Ah there she is, our guest of honor.' Aoife said while smirking at Jack and Nikki.
'Oh no..' Jack mutters.
'Well Jack, let the woman in, she must be freezing. Dinner is almost ready.' Aoife said and then walked back to the kitchen.
'Don't tell me she made you come here,' Jack said while inviting here inside and taking her coat.
'Thanks, and yes, she said that you won't mind if i come to dinner. I didn't want to be rude so here i am.' Nikki says while setting down her handbag.
'Nikki, you are way to sweet, you shouldn't be here, Aoife didn't do that to be polite!' He whispers not wanting Aoife to hear this.
Nikki sighs. 'I'm sorry, i didn't want her to win, she kinds of scares me you know? I didn't come for her, i came for Cara and for you.' She whispers back.
Jack smiles and looks her deeply in her eyes. 'Yeah she kind off scares me too..' he let out a small laugh and slowly leans in so he could kiss her but was cut off by a cough.
'Jack! Dinners is ready,' Aoife said while leaning against the doorframe smirking at the pair.
Jack groans silently and mouths a 'Sorry' at Nikki. Jack then motions to Nikki to lead the way towards the kitchen.
When they are both in the kitchen Jack sees that Aoife is sitting across from Cara, meaning they can't sit next to each other. Jack sighs and let Nikki pick a seat first before he sits across from her.
'It looks amazing,' Nikki smiles.
Cara beams with pride and mouths a 'Thank you.'
Aoife is quick to reply not quite liking the relationship between Nikki and her daughter. 'Want some wine, Nikki?'
'Um, sure. I'll have a white one please.' Nikki says politely.
Aoife stands up to collect the white wine, she takes a look at it. 'Good taste you have Jack, this is a good wine.'
Jack chuckles and looks at Nikki to give her a wink, he knew Nikki had brought it a couple of days ago.
Aoife sits back down and pours herself and Nikki a glass of wine. 'Want a whiskey Jack? I got your favorite.'
'No thanks, i'll stick with water.' He said while picking up the water bottle to fill his glass, he motions to Cara if she also wants water and pours her glass as well as she nods at him.
'Okay, well bon appetit then!' Aoife said trying not the sound disappointing.
They silently eat their diner and giving Cara multiple compliments which she gladly took in. Jack couldn't help but look at Nikki every so often to give her a smile or a wink, Nikki returned the gesture every so often.
Aoife being very aware of the glances between the two couldn't help but roll her eyes, that didn't get unnoticed by Cara who gave her mother a look if disapproval.
'So Nikki, what's for dessert?' Aoife said after they were all finished eating.
'I'm sorry?' Nikki said confused.
'Well we invited you for dinner, isn't it polite to bring something? Like a dessert or red wine?' Aoife said while a little evil smile crept on her face.
'Aoife!' Jack warned.
'Mom!' Cara mouths while standing up.
'What? That is polite isn't it?' Aoife replied.
'I'm sorry, if you asked me to bring something i would've brought dessert. I can go to the store to grab something or make something? There must be something in the fridge?' Nikki said a bit shocked at her reaction.
'No Nikki, don't.' Jack said. He looked at Aoife. 'What's the matter with you?' Jack being well aware that Cara is in the room so he didn't want to upset her any more than her mother just did.
'Oh come on Jack, i was just joking,' Aoife laughed a little while looking at Cara. 'Sit back down please.' Cara nodded and took a seat again.
Jack, who didn't buy it decided to let it rest not wanting to make a scene. 'Mhmm.' He looks at Nikki who still looks a little shocked. He stretches his right leg forward until his right foot met her left foot and slowly stroked it. Nikki met his gaze and smiled lightly, Jack gave her a apologetic smile back.
Aoife looked at the pair and choose to interrupt them again. 'So, let's skip dessert and do the dishes?'
Nikki looked at Aoife and stood up. 'I will do the dishes, you all go and take a seat in the living room.' She said with a faint smile while grabbing her plate.
'I'll help, you girls go have a seat, we'll come in a few minutes.' Jack said while also standing up and grabbing his plate.
Aoife stood up with her glass and walked out of the kitchen with Cara following her.
While Jack and Nikki silently put all the dirty dishes in her dishwasher Jack couldn't help but look at Nikki every so often.
'I'm sorry Nik, this whole dinner was a disaster,' Jack said while handing her the last plate.
Nikki grabbed the plate and put it in the dishwasher, she closes the dishwasher and puts it on. She then looks back at Jack. 'Jack, stop it. It's fine.. i didn't came here to make friends with her.' Nikki giggles while grabbing the wine to refill her glass.
Jack chuckles and grabs himself a beer from the fridge, he leans into a counter to look at Nikki who also leant to a counter.
'I just missed you, i know we see each other every day at work but the last couple of nights i missed your company, i could say i was a bit lonely.' Nikki smirks at him while sipping her wine flirtatious
'Ohh did you now.' Jack said while walking towards her, he sets his beer on the counter and grabbed the wineglass out of Nikki's hand to also set it down on the counter. He slowly bent down to lift Nikki on the kitchen counter, Nikki quietly giggles and wraps her legs around his torso and her arms around his neck.
'Mmhm, i did. I just really missed your arms around me,' Nikki said still being silent so Aoife couldn't hear them.
'Is that all you missed?' Jack quizzes while wiggling his eyebrows.
'No...' Nikki said while leaning in slowly. 'I've missed your eyes looking at me, i've missed your bare chest against my back.. i've missed your lips kissing me everywhere..' she whispers in his ear. 'But do you know what i missed the most?'
'Hmm.. no tell me.' He said while his hands stroked her bare thighs.
Nikki inhales his cologne. Her hands slowly going south stroking his stomach and landing on crotch. 'This.'
Jack gulps and looks at her, he slowly leant forward and cups her cheeks to slowly kiss her passionately.
Nikki smiles into the kiss and deepens it. She could hear a small moan from the back of her throat.
Their kiss broke apart when they heard heels clicking towards the kitchen door. They quickly pulled away, Jack quickly helped Nikki off the counter and hands her the glass of wine that was on the counter before grabbing his beer.
Nikki quickly settles her dress and choose to not face the kitchen door, she was still flushed from the heated kiss they just shared, she looks at Jack who just smirks at her.
'Are you done with the dishes? Cara and i are waiting for you,' Aoife said, clearly not knowing what just happend in the kitchen.
'Yes we're done. Why are you waiting for us?' Jack asks.
'We should all sit down and talk, i love to get to know Nikki better,' Aoife said, she looks over at Nikki who still wasn't facing her.
'Yes of course, give me a minute and i'll join you.' Nikki quickly responds.
Jack just chuckles and follows Aoife towards the living room he winks at Nikki when he passed her.
Nikki smiles and waits a little while, when she finally calmed down she grabbed the bottle of wine and joined the rest in the living room.
After about three hours later the clock strikes eleven o'clock. Nikki was on the sofa with Cara while Jack and Aoife both sat on a lounge chair.
'Nikki, it's getting late.. i think it's better for you to head home.' Aoife said with a little smirk on her face.
'Uh, yes i guess i should get going..' Nikki said while looking at the clock and standing up.
'Stay.' Jack said knowing exactly how to piss of Aoife.
'Jack, i'm not a dog.' Nikki giggles while sitting back down on the sofa.
Jack chuckles and smirks. 'Sorry i didn't mean it like that, i meant stay as in stay the night.'
'What?' Both Nikki and Aoife said in unison then briefly looked at each other then back at Jack.
Cara clears her throat to make everyone look at her. 'Yes you should stay, you've had quite some wine and it's late, not good to drive back.' She signs and giving Jack a nod to continue.
'Yes! That is very thoughtful of you Cara.' He gives Cara a wink and looks back at Nikki. 'You should spend the night Nik.'
'Jack i only had three small glasses and i drank water after that, and besides i don't have any clothes with me or my toilet bag,'
'I don't want you driving back home this late, and three glasses is enough to get a ticket!' Jack said. 'You have some clothes here and a spare toothbrush, i don't see the problem.' Jack briefly looked at Aoife who had a irritating look on her face, Jack looks back at Nikki and pouts a little. 'Please?'
Nikki looks at Cara who nods excitedly and then caves in. 'Okay, i'll stay.' She smiles at Jack, who returned that smile.
'Okay well that's settled then.' Jack said smirking while leaning back on the lounge chair.
'I will be heading upstairs then, i feel like taking a shower, see you upstairs then..?' Nikki shyly said while slowly making her way outside of the living room.
Jack nods and smiles at her. 'Yes, i will be up in about ten minutes.' He gives her a wink.
'Okay great.' Nikki smiles and stands up from the sofa. 'Goodnight Cara, thank you for the amazing food.' She signs to Cara and smiles, then she looks at Aoife. 'And goodnight Aoife.' Nikki says with a little smirk, before heading upstairs to take a quick shower.
Aoife mumbles a little 'Goodnight' after Nikki left the room and also stood up to go upstairs to the guestroom.
After ten minutes Cara and Jack also decided to go upstairs, they said their goodnights to each other and both headed to their own rooms.
Jack walked in his room noticing Nikki wasn't there yet, he took of his clothes and put on a pair of sweatpants.
Shortly after that Nikki walked in wearing one of his shirts and her own pair of sweatpants, she looks at him and checks out his bare upperbody biting her lip.
'God, you look sexy in my shirt.' Jack said while walking up to her to pull her in a tight embrace, his face buried in her damp hair taking in the coconut shampoo she used.
Nikki smiles into his chest and wraps her arms around his waist. 'And you look sexy wearing no shirt.' She says into his chest giving it small kisses.
'I'm sorry for tonight,' Jack said still holding Nikki.
'Don't apologize, you did nothing wrong.'
'You should've told me that Aoife invited you over.'
'Let it go Jack, it's fine. I'm here now in your bedroom, aren't i? I'm not here to talk about her, i'm here for you.. and i little bit for myself, couldn't sleep without you.' Nikki giggles in his chest.
'Me either.' Jack smiled and pulled away slowly, he bends down and picks Nikki up. Nikki lets out a scream. 'Jack!'
Jack laughs and walks towards his bed and gently lays her down on the bed and got on top of her. 'Hi.' He said while stroking her cheek.
'Hi.' Nikki smiled looking deep into his eyes, she leant in and captures his lips in hers for a passionate kiss.
Jack smiled in the kiss and deepens it slipping his tongue in her mouth to fight with hers, a groan left his throat as Nikki travelled her hands over his body.
A knock on his bedroom door interrupts them once again.
Jack groans loudly knowing exactly who it was. 'What?!' He growls.
'I'm sorry i heard a scream, is everything okay?' He heard Aoife ask from behind the door.
'We're fine!' Jack quickly shouts before attacking Nikki again with a forcefull kiss.
Nikki giggles and kissed him back. She didn't hear Aoife saying something back soshe must've left to go back to the guest room.
Jack pulls his shirt off Nikki and throws it somewhere in his room. 'God, i missed you and this.' He said while trailing kisses along her bare chest and stomach.
Nikki smiles and roams her hands through his hair. 'And i've missed you doing that.' She breaths out.
'I love you so much.' Jack says in between kisses.
'I love you too, so much.' Nikki lets out.
Their night continues on for a couple of hours not afraid of making a little to much noise.
