So you already know how we left off, and now both stories are lined up properly.

~POV Loud Family~

Things were really quick after Sam had interfered with the fight between Luna and Lincoln, and a deafening silence, mostly fueled by shock, swept all present.

As Sam had kissed Lincoln, she soon deepened it by using tongue, which caught the fury of the injured, but restrained Luna, who broke free, but not before leading a battlecrying "YOU CUNT!"

Luna made a ferocious lunge at Sam, nearly tackling her, but she quickly countered by managing to grab Luna and spin, quickly throwing her to the ground, with Sam landing atop of her former friend.

Sam was furious, and began violently slamming her fist into Luna's cheek, out of revenge for the previous beatdown from earlier, along with vengeance for how Luna treated Lincoln.

And speaking of Lincoln, he stood by frozen by the events, shocked at how Sam had simply showed up and kissed him, rather than the fight itself.

Lori pulled Sam back, only for Luna to immediately dart up, and swing her hand at Sam, clawing her cheek badly with a quick swipe, and Lynn had to jump between the two.

Sam shriveled up in pain, as the scratch tore across her face, almost bringing her to even more tears.

Panic overwhelmed Lincoln, the coined Man with the Plan. At this point, he had no idea what to do, what had happened, and was never calmly told what had happened, nor given a more calm, civil chance to explain his side of the story.

"SHARP, YOU HAVE SIX SECONDS TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE, BEFORE I TURN YOU INTO A HUMAN PRETZEl!" Lori growled, as she pointed Sam towards the road, though Sam had been been more focused on her scratched face, with her left hand cupping her cheek.

Lincoln needed a way out of here, fast. He knew he'd face some serious music, if he didn't escape long enough for things to calm down, he'd be in a world of pain.

And, as if his mind was read, he noticed Lynn shove Luna back, in what appeared to be a standoff, with the other Loud siblings circling the two, long enough for Lincoln to take Sam's hand, and lead her out of the scene.

"HEY! HE'S GETTING AWAY!" screamed Lola, who pointed. Lynn, despite being athletic enough to chase and catch them, abstained from the conflict, with Lana, Luan and Lucy throwing their hands up, in a "not my fight" manner.

Lori covered her eyes in disappointment. "Just... Let him go, he's bound to be back at some point..." she grumbled, before turning to Luna, and then the rest of the sisters. "And when he does, he's got alot to answer for."

Just as he said that, Clyde stepped up. "Shut your goddamn mouth Lori. I've heard enough of these lies." this lead to gasps from every one of the Loud sisters, who turned to face the brave sidekick.

Lori was initially speechless, before stepping slightly towards him. "How dare you?" was all she could reply with, in a hate filled hiss.

The boy then filled himself up with more confidence, before continuing. "No. No! How dare you?! Look at- come on! You're all on high horses, jumping down your brother over something as harmless as their relationship?!"

This lead to frowns, before Lisa approached the middle of the conflict.

Adjusting her glasses, she spook up. "Whilst some form of punishment for both sides shall be left in the later discussion, truly there's no harm done in this relationship of 'puppy-love', and I'm quite certain it shall blow over soon enough, and we return to our normal lives."

Lori facepalmed, and Lynn spoke up. "Please. If Luna cared so much about Sam, she should've just fucking told her, instead of writing a dumb letter."

"I understand your point quite positively, however I hope it is seen to that the fights are punished accordingly, and we allow the relationship, if any, to run said course, and Lincoln will learn the natural way, and develop a stronger sense towards romance, rather than what has transpired." Lisa replied, remaining on her own stance.

Luan ignored Lisa, and instead called out to Lynn. "Are you cereal? That chick just kicked Luna upside the head! And you're acting like the relationship is healthy?"

"Perhaps she wouldn't have, had Luna refrained from violent tendencies and allowed our brother to explain everything calmly, if this relationship was anything worth the fight, Luna would've simply just-"

Lucy was quickly interrupted by Lola. "Oh shut up Lucy. You wouldn't know the difference between love and a lame vampire sculpture you found at an antique store."

This caused Lucy to emerge her signature gasp, followed with an aggressive "you take that back..." Lola remained unphased, while Leni had been hiding behind Lori the entire time.

Clyde stood around as the siblings began to chew at eachother's throats, and Lori then looked at the boy menacingly.

"Now, you see what you've started, you twerp?!" Clyde remained unphased; the girl he once lusted over, was now nothing more of a pest to him, as his truest loyalties lie with the brotherly bond he and Lincoln shared.

"He didn't start nuthin'!" Lana barged into the conversation. "Maybe you should start getting everyone's story before you start fightin' the innocent."

Lori then stomped, and faced her little sister. "Explain what?! Did you not just see that girl walk up and make out with Lincoln?!"

Lynn stepped in quickly. "So what?! He likes a girl, big whoop." this followed with Lola joining again. "A girl, that he stole from Luna! Did you seriously pretend he didn't selfishly hide her note for Sam, and send in his own?"

"QUIET!" ordered Lori. "We'll settle this when he shows his face back here. Until then, no more of this shit." she then turned to face Clyde.

"And you. Go home. Don't get yourself involved in Lincoln's drama." without a second thought, Clyde quickly darted off into the night sky.

~POV Lincoln~

Lincoln had quickly escaped the clutches of unjustified violence in the Loud House, taking Sam by the hand as he escaped to a spot he, Clyde and the boys would often hang out, a nice, small cliff that gives a good view of the town.

"Oh sweet! I love rock climbing!" The rocker chick smiled, as she and Lincoln began climbing.

Lincoln was shocked, the more he learned about this girl, made her seem so much cooler.

Sam made it to the top first, reaching her hand out to grab Lincoln, pulling him onto the top. It was only 25 feet, but it was still a bit of a fall.

"Sam, your cheek... Are you-" Lincoln stammered, and Sam pulled out her phone, to use the reflection from the camera to see.

She sighed. "Bummer man. This looks nasty." however, Lincoln didn't seem to think so. "It's not so bad, would look pretty cool if you needed character for your band!"

Without meaning to, he noticed Sam's neutral expression, turn into sadness. He then noticed her eyes were slightly watery, as if she was restraining herself from crying again.

"S-Sam? You okay?" Lincoln asked, as he put a hand on her shoulder. She looked back up, now staring him in the face. "I- I heard..."

It was hard for her to continue speaking, but she managed to force herself to finish the sentence. "I've heard things about... How I might be kicked out of band... And- and the stuff with Luna... I don't know if the Moon Goats will still be able to perform..."

Lincoln gasped, not realizing the severity of the situation until he understood that this conflict was now jeopardizing her passions, her future, and it made him feel like he held a hand in the potential downfall of Sam Sharp.

"No..." Lincoln muttered. "You're- you're Sam Sharp! You're the star attraction of the Moon Goats... They couldn't possibly just get rid of you!"

Sam shook her head. "No Lincoln. Luna is the big deal around the Royal Woods music. I'm just a backup singer, backup guitar girl. A backup everything..."

Those words hit Lincoln hard. And he understood the situation even more now, no way were the M.G's gonna get rid of Luna in place of Sam, when Sam is being coined the instigator, a pedo, any many other things Lincoln didn't know about at the time, that others are saying.

"Sam." Lincoln quietly asked, followed by a simple "yeah, Lincoln?"

"What... What started all of this?"

What did start all of this? This question had circled in Lincoln's head for a while, since everything out of Luna was a he said/she said, and little of any proper claims.

"Don't you remember? The love letter you wrote me...Luna got mad about it..."

And then it hit Lincoln. "Sam... I'm gonna tell you this now.. You're a beautiful, talented and incredibly cool chick, and if Luna didn't like you... I'd have let you known how awesome you were through a cheesey letter."

Sam was shocked. "But wait, then who-" and now, it hit Sam, who nearly fell over on her back as she shriveled up inside. Sam did like Luna back, she thought Luna was the coolest, but had always thought she was out of her league, and that hitting on her would have made things awkward in their friendship, atop the rejection.

And now, she had her answer. Luna did return the highly fantasized crush Sam had, something that would've made the blonde jump with joy, and calm her worries, and smile as she could look at a future; her and Luna, musician-couple touring the world together.

But, it was too late for that. Luna misunderstood the entire situation, assaulted Sam, accused her of using her to get close to her little brother, Lincoln. Had her coined a pedophile, and gotten most of the Loud family to hate her, atop of the trouble she feared at school upcoming.

There was no chance for reconciling at this point, not the friendship, and especially not the crush, that could've been the ultimate relationship had Luna not overreacted to a misunderstanding.

And Sam soon began to sniffle. Her childhood friend and crush hated her. Her heart was broken, and it became clear that Lincoln was simply delivering that letter.

He'd explained how his name might've gotten unintentionally signed in his bookbag as he carried the letter. And now, Sam had thought up until now, Lincoln had been crushing on her.

Lincoln finally decided to break the silence. "So um, Sam... Why did you... Kiss me earlier?"

Sam simply snickered at the question. "Would ya believe me, if I said it was just to get back at Luna? Teach her a lesson?"

Lincoln simply nodded his head, obligating Sam to continue.

"I don't know anymore. It's just- life... I've been feeling so unappreciated, pointless lately. And then, when I thought everything was fixed by a love letter, it just took a turn for the worst."

"I wanted to make Luna pay for how she just turned on me, hurt me in school. Made sure to accuse me of- things... Things, in front of so many students. All because you sent me that letter... Or so I thought. So, I thought I'd come by to try and get everything sorted out, but I didn't know Luna was already onto you, so- I decided to just have one perfect shot at hitting her where it hurts."

She then looked at Lincoln. "I'm... Sorry if that kiss caused you more problems at home... I know it probably made everything... So much worse, dude. I shouldn't have caught myself up in that moment."

"I couldn't be mad at you, Sam. They'll get over it. But seriously... That's the only reason you kissed me?"

Sam shrugged simply. "I don't honestly know, actually. Everything since what happened in school has been so... chaotic..."

"Yeah, I wish I could just tell Luna about how all of this really went. Make things go back to how they were." Lincoln softly spoke up.

"Me too." replied Sam, who now decided to change the topic. "You know... That was my first kiss. And... I never would've expected it to be like that..."

Lincoln looked confused now. "That was your first? It felt so..." Lincoln stopped himself, as he realized he'd be awkwardly complimenting a misdirected kiss.

Sam took notice. "Haha. You were gonna sayyy?" she tilted her head adorably, and Lincoln began to blush.

"Forget I said anything.."

The girl smiled now, with less cares regarding her situation, she'd never been interested in dating Lincoln, but couldn't help how attractive his mature, generous and humble personality was.

"Yeah, I hear you Loud and clear." she joked about the boy's surname, resulting in an eye-roll.

She turned her face to stare at the clouds. "You know, I've always thought I was ugly, uninteresting, or...something."

"Wha-why would you think that? I've explained what I really think of you, I'm pretty sure others do too!" Lincoln tried to comfort her.

The cute, blonde rocker now smiled, but continued her argument. "What you said is sweet. And, what I think about you, is pretty neat too."

She then got up, and turned to face him, while still sitting on the cold ground.

"You're a totally rad, loyal, devoted, kind friend." she smiled, which seemed to be contagious, as Lincoln followed along. "And you're talented, funny, attractive...cute..." she said the last two quietly.

And, with a quick motion, Sam put her right hand on Lincoln's shoulder, gazing him in the eyes, as she leaned in to kiss him again.
