After Chaldea met Marth, he takes them to a safe location far away from where the Border landed, what he calls "Safe haven"

Marth was walking in front of Chaldea, leading them through the ruins of the city while the Servants and the staff walked behind him.

"Senpai... Do you think he's telling the truth?" - Mash asked as she walked next to Ritsuka.

"I'll answer for you, Anchin Sama" - Kiyohime interrupted - "I didn't sense any lies in his words, but I also sensed something strange in him..." -

"You sensed it too Kiyohime San? He's... He's not fully human" -

"I think that the blue flames coming from his body back when he killed that monster were a giveaway" - Ritsuka said - "But, if he's not a human, then what is he?" -

"I'm a demon, or, well, more specifically, I'm what's called a Half Demon" - Marth's voice spoke - "By the way, do know that I have augmented hearing" -

"A Half Demon? So your mom, or dad, was a...?" -

"Nothing like that, both of my parents are humans, I'm a Half Demon... Well, first let's get to safety, then I'll explain everything that needs explaining" -

The Servants got even more doubts about Marth after hearing that, and some of them were getting impatient.

"Mongrel" - Gilgamesh Archer took a step in front of Ritsuka.

"Huh? You're talking to me?" - Marth said, as he turned around to meet the King of Heroes face to face.

"You're keeping a lot of information from us, I demand you tell us everything you know, now" -

"And who do you think you are to demand stuff from me? Keep in mind that if it weren't for me, you'll all be dead fighting Typhon's bastard" -

"Hey hey, can we please, not start a fight in the middle of nowhere?" - Ritsuka got in between Marth and Gilgamesh to try and avoid more conflict.

"Fine by me, as long as you can keep your golden pet under control, and... The rest of them" -

"What did you just call me!?" -

"Gil, no! Marth, they're my companions, my friends, not my pets" - Ritsuka explained to the boy.

"Whatever, just keep them under control until we get to the Diet Building" -

"Wait what? The Diet Building... We're in Tokyo?" -

"Yes, or at least, what's left of Tokyo anyways. We're trying to hold everything together, keep things under control and try to rebuild but, as evident, it's quite the slow process" -

"Who is we? It's impossible to do this all by yourself after all" -

"Don't worry my dear blue eyed friend, you'll learn in... Oh, we're already here, oh damn" -

After stopping, the Servants found themselves standing face to face with... More ruins, an empty street.

"Hey... Is this a joke?" - Ritsuka said, with a not amused look on his face.

"What's the matter? You guys have never seen a secret base before?" -

Blue fire started to come out of the boy's hand, and he used it to draw a pentagram in front of them, which began to shine red, then white, and the illusion in front of them disappeared, revealing that it had been hidden.

The Diet Building.

"Welcome, to the base of operations of the Japanese Faction of the Council of Lucifer, the Diet Building" -

Then, as they entered the cloaking field, Marth decided to explain. Diet Building, which had once been the most important locations of Japan in the past, was now being used by the surviving humans alongside the supernatural races that supported the Council as a base of operations to push back the forces of Chaos.

Needless to say that even with the explanation, Chaldea was still very confused as to what was going on.

"Let's get inside the building then, I'll explain everything in detail" -

As they walked towards the Diet Building, the Servants saw that they were surrounded by multiple demonic creatures, from simple Daemons to stranger creatures like Nekomatas, Pixies, Andras, Shiisa, and there were even some angels looking at them.

"Sounds like you definitely honor the 'Council of Lucifer' thing, many demons" - Ritsuka said.

"Don't worry about them, they won't hurt you unless you ask for it" -

"I hope you're right..." -

Under the watchful eye of all those creatures, Chaldea made their way inside the Diet Building, following Marth all the way to what once was the House of Representatives.

"First of all, let's introduce ourselves one more time. My name is Marth Murokumo, I'm one of the leaders of the Japanese Faction, and a Half Demon under the Council of Lucifer" -

"I'm Ritsuka Fujimaru, I'm Chaldea's Master, and they're Chaldea's Servants, my friends for over two years at this point. He's Goredolf, he's the director of Chaldea" - Ritsuka pointed at him, and he just waved his hand saying 'Hello'.

"A pleasure to meet you. Now that we're in a safer space, is there anything you'll like me to tell you?" -

"Just one small thing, what happened to this place? Why is Tokyo like this?" -

Marth took a deep sigh before starting to speak once more.

"13 years ago, there was a war between mythologies that came to be known as the Last War, and Earth became the battleground for beings so powerful that they could threaten entire universes. As a result of this, humanity took a heavy blow with more than 97% of the world population dying as gods and demons fought without a care in the world. After everything calmed down, a woman named Maria took it upon herself to try and help humanity survive in this chaotic world, and she created the Council of Lucifer to do so" -

"This woman, Maria, do you know her directly?" -

"Of course I do, she's my mother, and she's the reason I am what I am" -

"You mean, a Half Demon?" -

"Yes. The Last War started when me and my sister Flora were children, 5 years old each. Our parents died during the initial attack in Japan, and we were forced to hide and live off whatever we could find in the ruins. A few days later, she found us, she took us in and gave us a new life, a new purpose. She... Made us into her children" -
