The Leader and the Master

Marth punched Ritsuka in the face before sweeping his legs and kicking him in the face once he fell to the ground. His speed wasn't that of a normal human, and he planned to end the fight in a single strike, or did he?

The Servants watched, and some of them were ready to jump at the boy, until Ritsuka slowly got up, his nose bleeding a little yet still able to stand up.

"I see you're more than first meets the eye. That attack was for me to see if you were worth fighting in the first place" - Marth said while getting into fighting position - "Now, let's do it for real" -

"I'll get you back for that" - Ritsuka said as he cleaned the blood from his nose.

"I'd like to see you try" -

Both attacked, this time with Marth suppressing his superhuman capabilities to make it fair. Ritsuka got the upper hand at the start, punching Marth in the stomach and kicking him in the chest.

The leader of the Japanese Faction didn't take this lightly, answering with an uppercut to the jaw against Fujimaru and grabbing him, throwing him to the ground.

Ritsuka kicked him in the chest and pushed him away, allowing him to get up. He felt something weird in his mouth, a strange flavor. Blood, that punch had knocked out one of his teeths.

"Come on, you're going to give up just because of 1 tooth?" - Marth said while in a fighting position.

"Of course not. Let's keep going" - Ritsuka threw the teeth away and adopted Chiron's fighting stance.

Both attacked each other at once and started to trade blows, with none being able to overpower the other. Punches and kicks were thrown from both and caused blood to start pouring out of the noses of both fighters.

Marth, seeing the moves of his enemy, found an opening after one of his strikes and quickly took advantage of it. After dodging the hit, he attacked with his elbow and the strike was powerful enough to crack the bones of Ritsuka's arm.

"AAAAAH!" - the boy yelled while pulling back, the Servants looked in anger at Marth.

"Senpai!" - Mash yelled and tried to run and get in the arena, but Flora created a magical barrier around it - "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" -

"The battle isn't over until one of the two gets knocked out or is unable to fight. Fujimaru still has one arm" - the girl said in a cold manner.

Ritsuka managed to compose himself, preparing to continue the fight.

"You left yourself open, I simply took advantage of it" -

"I can see that..." - Ritsuka said, trying to power through the pain - "You're definitely paying for that one" -

"In that case, let's continue" -

Despite the disadvantage, Ritsuka continued to fight, only in a much more defensive manner, trying to do the same Marth did with him, finding an opening in his enemy's attacks. He took a while, but found one.

He used his opening to knee Marth in the stomach before using his healthy arm to punch him in the head, knocking him to the ground before dodging a leg sweep as Marth got up.

No words came out of Marth's mouth as he launched himself at Ritsuka, a single small white flame in his hand. The punch didn't connect, but that wasn't necessary.

Ritsuka tried to get back on his feet after dodging the hit, but started to feel... Dizzy, his sight became blurry and keeping himself on his feet started to be difficult.

He tried to hit Marth, or what he thought was Marth. To those outside the arena, it looked like he missed a hit, by a lot.

"Huh, seems that Marth accidently used one of his abilities" - Flora said with a slight smile - "I guess he wanted to test if he could resist the illusions" -

"What the hell do you mean? What did he do to our Master?" - Enkidu asked, getting ready to fight if needed.

"That ability of Marth, it's called Ignitio Sensuum. It affects the senses of the enemy, and he can choose which one he wants to. Seems like he chose sight right now" -

In the battlefield, Ritsuka continued trying to hit Marth, not knowing that his sense of sight had been messed with, and that he wasn't actually landing a single blow.

"Quite interesting, it will be fun to have you around. Now, let us finish this" - while Ritsuka was distracted, Marth swept his leg and then prepared to deliver a powerful kick - "I hope you forgive me, because this will hurt" -

Landing the devastating attack on the face of his enemy, Marth knocked Ritsuka out, and the Servants rushed to help him.

"He'll be fine, I held back in order for him to not take serious damage. He might not be able to see for a few minutes after getting up, but he should recover his slight in no time" - Marth said, getting a sharp look from all the Servants - "Are you not going to take him to the infirmary?" -

"After what you did to Senpai, be thankful you're still alive" - BB said while her eyes glowed red. Instead of scared, Marth was unamused.

"Remember that we made a deal, and our fight was to test his abilities. He passed the test, so we'll see him when we wake up" - Marth said as he and Flora left the place.

The Servants took Ritsuka to the infirmary and waited for him to wake up. Lucky for the boy, he could see once he opened his eyes.

"Agh... My head. What happened?" -

"Senpai..." -

"Your fighting style impressed me Fujimaru, but your lack of resistance to mental attacks is a bit disappointing" - Marth interrupted Mash before the girl could explain what had happened.

"Wait... You kicked me in the face and knocked me out!" -

"I told you, it was going to hurt. Leaving that aside however, we're happy to work alongside you" - he extended his hand towards Ritsuka, the boy with black hair took it, and Marth smiled.

The Servants, on the other hand, weren't happy with him after that fight. Nothing to do now however, they had to work alongside him... No, work for him, and the Council of Lucifer.

Chaldea now was part of the Council.
