A/N: I haven't had much time to write and thought this would be quicker (and a bit more fun) to write than another chapter. For anyone who may have wanted to see what was going on ten years later in the story, hope you all enjoy!

Extras, Part 3

Realizations and Misunderstandings

Everyone got hit by the ten year bazooka eventually and to-date nothing major happened. No one was dead and five minutes couldn't have been enough time to change anything in the past, right? So when Kyoya was in the path of the bazooka his fellow guardians hadn't expected much from his future self. Conveniently forgetting that this was a version of Kyoya that dealt with the brunt of Shizuka's pranks for more than a decade.

"Well this will be interesting." Shizuka says with a nervous chuckle. She couldn't explain why the look the older Kyoya had made her feel uneasy until she found herself being picked up and carried away. Like some sort of damsel in distress!

"Kyoya-kun! What the heck!" Shizuka hissed, her face a dark red. "I almost forgot how easily embarrassed you could be." Kyoya states, Shizuka bristled. "What's that supposed to mean?!"

Kyoya stopped outside of a café that Shizuka and the girls would often frequent , setting her down. Kyoya could only shake his head at how dense their younger selves were. "Just that you're easy to tease tanuki."

The nickname was said in such a fond manner that Shizuka couldn't bring herself to protest. She just crossed her arms and pouted. "I don't know if this is better or worse than you trying to cave my head in with a tonfa."

Kyoya smirked. "You'll appreciate it when you're older."

Before she could ask what the hell that meant, there was a cloud of pink smoke and the teen Kyoya was back. The usually stoic Cloud had a faint blush on his face and what looked to be a sakura clipped onto his arm band. Shizuka had to stop herself from scowling.

Figures he'd eventually find someone that could put up with his violent tendencies. Shizuka thought bitterly. The thought of someone else having enough impact to make him embarrassed after every failed attempt she made had her feeling emotionally numb.

"Nice to know one of us has a good future." She grumbles, maybe that was why the older Kyoya stopped at the café. After a dessert she could just go to Meifeng again and let herself cry at how unfair life was. She shook herself out of those depressing thoughts and grabbed Kyoya by the wrist.

"Your future self dragged me here, we might as well get something." She states, forcing herself to grin. The lack of resistance just made her heart break even more.

A Glimpse at a Brighter Future

Kyoya had always been curious about what the future had in store for him. He'd begrudgingly admit that the future would be dull without either of the small animals in it, no matter how much the tanuki annoyed him.

"Hibari-san!" He looked up just as the bazooka hit him, pink smoke obscuring his vision.

"Oh my, is it that day already? It isn't often that you're taken off guard Kyo-kun." The older version of Shizuka was sitting across from him at a table, blue eyes shining with mirth. She wore a dark blue yukata and her blonde hair was in a neat bun. A sakura hair clip kept her usually unruly hair out of her face.

On the table was a tea kettle and two cups. "Thankfully this is just our monthly tea date and this didn't happen in the middle of a mission." Shizuka says, taking a sip from her cup.

"Monthly?" Kyoya asks, Shizuka laughed. "After a certain incident that I won't mention I mellow out more. One that I'm responsible for now that I think about it. Circular paradoxes are pretty interesting that way." She says in amusement. Shizuka unclipped her hair and smiled. "The next couple months are going to be difficult but I promise the trouble will be worth it. Think of this as a good luck charm." She reached over the table to clip it to his arm band and, seconds before Kyoya was called back, gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. The brief glimpse of Kyoya's stunned face was worth her past teen sulking in her opinion.

The Kyoya of her time reappeared, taking one look at Shizuka's grin and shaking his head. "Honestly, I think I preferred when you decided to use your intelligence for pranks instead." He says bluntly, Shizuka chuckled. "Circular paradox Kyo-kun. And if you want to blame someone then just complain to Verde like everyone else. Even Reborn is wary when we start brainstorming together."

Prank War

"When will this all end?" Tsunayoshi groans, reading the reports from Byakuran and Shizuka's latest attacks against each other. On one hand he was glad that his world was a lucky one that found a way to avoid a mafia war like the "prime" universe they'd all gotten memories of. But with all the property damage and now mandatory therapy for those caught in the aftermath of the prank war, he wondered if his sanity and a hefty bill was worth it.

He almost cried when Gokudera came in with another stack of papers. "Do I even want to know what happened this time?" Tsuna groans, Gokudera grimaced. "We really need to stop letting Verde and Shizuka work on inventions together. While we have made a lot of progress technologically, their latest project was insane."

Shizuka was watching the Ghost Buster movies with Natsumi for Halloween, her Storm feeling more and more uneasy as Shizuka's eyes gained a bright gleam. "We are not going ghost hunting." The red head states, Shizuka gave her a deadpan stare. "I'm already past that phase. How many pounds of marshmallows do you think it would take to recreate the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man?" She asks.

Natsumi groaned. "Shizuka, you are not able to animate marshmallows of all things! Are you still upset about Byakuran somehow shaving all your cats?"

Shizuka visibly bristled. "He touched my fur babies! For that I'm going to hit him where it hurts." She growled.

Along with a list for over 21,000 pounds of marshmallows, a bill from all the clean up crews hired to clean up the mess all getting stuck in the sticky-melted madness and video footage of Byakuran crying as his men destroyed the destructive marshmallow monster, Tsunayoshi knew he would need to call someone in to stop this feud. He sighed in defeat. "I'll call Yuni and see if she can talk Byakuran down. Every time I get Shizuka to stop he pisses her off again."
