AN: Hello. The second chapter of the story. Made for Tumblr user princessquinnella.

Enjoy!

As Elizabeth and the boys arrive at the Toy store, Elizabeth recognizes a familiar entrance, just like the Flaversham case. She went in and the boys followed her.

"What was stolen?" Elizabeth asked quietly.

"Follow us." The second street boy Jim whispered.

Boys walked quietly and so did Elizabeth. They got up on shelves until they came to one where small dolls were. Elizabeth quickly recognizes footprints on the floor. They are too familiar. It's like a thief has… a peg-leg. It can't be… but if it truly is who she thinks he is… then that will mean….

She looks up to notice that a few of the dolls miss their gowns. Deja vu. That's all she could think of. Elizabeth went to look closely. By the remaining accessories, she could tell what type of gowns were stolen.

"Why steal doll outfits?" Jim asked.

"Because they can't go buy it or ask for it from the tailor." Elizabeth explained. "They want to avoid my uncle knowing any of this, so they steal the needed things from here. Just like back in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee."

"Wow, you mean they took uniforms from here?" Third street boy Joe asked.

"Elementary. Royal guard uniforms aren't made for just anyone. It will raise suspicion if someone goes to ask for many uniforms at once near the Jubilee." Elizabeth explained.

"Why then steal dresses?" Will asked.

"I wonder that too." Elizabeth said. "Based on the dolls' accessories, one was dressed as a princess because of the tiara. The second one obviously has some kind of fancy dress too because of the makeup. And the third has a veil so…"

"...Wedding gown." Jim answered.

"Exactly." Elizabeth said. Then starts to take notes in her notebook.

"So, is someone trying to get married?" Joe asked.

"More like "force" to get married." Elizabeth said while putting her notebook away. "And like I said before, the culprit doesn't want to be noticed by people just yet, so he came to steal needed items from here."

"Must be desperate." Will said.

"Desperate or desperately obsessed." Elizabeth clears.

Somewhere in the sewers…

Quinnella looked sadly at the next jewel she was forced to make. It's been over three weeks since she was captured and she is forced to work for the one who took her.

She was forced to make traps and other deadly things, but as soon as they realized she could make jewels they made her do more. First as simple ones, then more interest in details. It didn't take long to realize all her works were used to rob jewels and replace fake ones, ones she made. She didn't want that because some of those jewels had an owner which had them fixed and they held more emotional value than what they were. She could tell when she saw those stolen items.

Suddenly the door opens in which Quinnella gets up from her work table and backs off before stumbling because of the chain around her ankle.

A huge rat with a fancy black outfit comes in with a peg-leg bat who carries some kind of dress. It's no other than Professor Ratigan and his lackey, Fidget.

"Good evening, my dear. It's me, your Rati." Ratigan said gleefully. Quinnella backs off to the wall. Because of the chain that's as far, as she could go, but not far enough to the door. She knows because she has tried many times. "I brought you something." He said while Fidget places the dress on one of the chairs.

Quinnella walks quietly to see the dress. It was a lavender color with a little bit of pink in the center. It was off-shoulder kind with sleeves with buffy on top, decorated with flowers and a few gems.

"It's… beautiful." She said carefully.

"I'm glad you like it." Ratigan smiles pleasingly. "I would like you to wear it tomorrow night."

"Tomorrow?"

"Yes, I would like you to have dinner with me. I even have a surprise for you, then." He chuckles.

"Dine with you?"

"Well, I would have wanted to suggest something classier evening, like going to the opera, but I try to keep my "arrival from the death" as a surprise till I have all things set and ready." He said while fingers a crown that resembles the royal crown he had among his treasury which Quinnella has managed to make a smaller copy.

It was one of the first things Quinnella was forced to make. After seeing her talent, it gave him the idea to forge the jewels and replace them with real ones. Well, there are not really fakes, in fact, he is doing them a favor. Such grand masterpieces, way better than real ones, which most of them he has sold. But those are small things compared to the bigger prize of all. The Crown Jewels of mousedom. With her talent, no one will know the difference and he will have the power once more.

"No"

"Excuse me?" Ratigan scowled.

"I said ''No". Do you think I'm not aware of what's going on? You have made me build deadly traps, killing devices, and forged jewels. I'm chained into this prison cell only to work for you and you want me to have dinner with you? I rather starve to…AH!" Quinnella said before feels pressure on her right-wing.

Ratigan had placed his hand over her wind and nails ducking into it under his white gloves. "You better watch how you talk to me, dear." he said with a threatening tone before he tore up a part of her delicate gown of skeleton leaf and clover.

Because of his cat Felicia, the beautiful dress has already been torn up by its skirt and one sleeve, now both sleeves are gone and a bit more of the skirt because of Ratigan. It would take two more strikes and the once lovely dress will be nothing but small pieces of shreds on the floor.

"May I remind you that you would be long gone if it wasn't for me. I'm offering something nice for a change." he scowls threateningly. "If you dare to refuse my generous hospitality again I shall not be so kind. I'll happily shackle you to the table if it means I get the pleasure of your company that evening. And as for the dress…" he chuckles evilly. "Let's see what kind of fairy you are without anything to wear…"

"Please, stop!" Quinnella cries. Ratigan let go of her wing as she fell to her knees as she held onto herself. "I accept your invitation…" she said in a shaky voice.

"There's a good girl." Ratigan said, pleased with her answer, before lifting her chin up to look at him. "I'll have Fidget pick you up at eight. Oh and don't mind the ogling of my henchmen, how could you blame them when they have such radiant beauty in front of them?" He then moves closer to whisper the last words to her. "I expect you to be more…"submissive" to me."

After saying it Ratigan leaves with Fidget, locking the door after him. Once alone Quinnella burst into tears, crying against the nearest chair. If only someone could come to save her.
