* Three Months Later *
Hinata Hyuga was sitting in her academy class with her friend Shikamaru waiting for Naruto. As Hinata was waiting she was thinking of the past three months. Hinata thought of how she has gotten more confident in general and less nervous around her crush Naruto. She also thought of how Naruto has improved a lot in taijutsu and seals. Hinata thought of how she and Naruto learned Shogi to play against Shikamaru and getting better with strategy. Hinata also thought of her side project which was working on a different taijutsu style with Naruto as the gentle fist isn't working for her. Hinata smiled thinking of her friendship with Naruto but also how he has friends that includes her, Shikamaru, the ramen stand people and Anko with also his big brother Iruka that she sees with Naruto every once in a while. She also thought of the training Naruto has done with his bow and how he learned fast and is working using his bow as a weapon just itself.
Hinata shook her head hearing the bell rang and she frowned a little seeing Naruto hadn't arrived. Hinata looked around when he saw Iruka walk in and start taking rolls. Hinata heard names be called then after Sasuke's name she heard " Naruto Uzumaki." Hinata looked around and frowned when she heard " No surprise that idiot hasn't shown he failed twice and that's just humiliating." Hinata frowned when she heard the door open so she looked at it seeing Naruto walk in wearing a black pair of pants with weird shoes that cover his feet not showing a single piece of skin. She saw him wearing a black jacket with the inside of the hoodie orange. He had a black strap across the chest from the left shoulder to the right hip that connected to the black quiver on his back with an orange stitching. Hinata looked at a mask around his neck and the arrows which had a black body and orange fletchlings.
Hinata saw Naruto look at Iruka and heard " Sorry I'm late Iruka sensei." Hinata saw Iruka nod and heard him say " Just take a seat you haven't lost anything." Hinata saw Naruto nod and walk up to the empty seat next to them. Hinata smiled at Naruto then she looked forward just to hear " Where's that kill me jumpsuit." Hinata looked at Choji and just to hear Naruto say " I never could afford anything else until now." Hinata looked at Naruto and frowned a little at that but just smiled after a few seconds then looked forward. Hinata only looked at Iruka hearing him talk and how he's happy they are all back but she looked away, noticing the normal kunai pouch on his left thigh but also a black pouch that is similar in size. Hinata just looked up at Iruka seeing him smile then heard " Ok outside everyone first I need to test your kunai throwing and see."
Hinata stood up and followed the class outside and after that when the whole class stopped she heard him call out names. Hinata saw people stand up and get the standard six out of ten. Hinata looked at Naruto and smiled, then looked forward to hearing " Hinata Hyuga." Hinata smiled and walked up then grabbed two of the five kunai and was about to throw when she realized Naruto was watching her. Hinata's hand started to shake a little and she froze. Hinata stood there to feel a hand on her shoulder so she looked at Iruka and smiled then threw the two. Hinata saw she hit the second outer circle and she grabbed two more to throw when she heard " Wait."
Hinata looked at Naruto seeing him walk up then heard him say " Can I quickly tell her a technique I now could help and I won't be throwing." Hinata saw Iruka nod so she looked forward as Naruto got next to her then heard in a whisper " Use your wrist not the arm." Hinata looked at Naruto in confusion when she saw Naruto just chuckle then she blushed feeling Naruto grab her arm. Hinata looked at Naruto moving her hand but just the wrist like to throw then heard " Like as your arm comes forward the fly straighter." Hinata nodded then saw Naruto walk back so she looked at her hand then at the last kunai and grabbed it. Hinata pulled her arm back and threw what Naruto showed her and one of the three hit dead center and two hit the third outer circle.
Naruto smiled seeing Hinata walk back and that she got a six out of ten which he remembers her other scores and she improved a lot. Naruto smiled at Hinata as she stopped next to him and heard " Thanks." Naruto nodded when he heard Iruka say " Sasuke Uchiha." Naruto saw the last Uchiha walk up and pick up all five kunai and throw. Naruto saw Sasuke through and four hit dead center with one hitting the third outer circle. Naruto saw Iruka nod and heard him say " Nice almost dead center Sasuke." Naruto saw the last Uchiha smirk and walked back and heard Sakura yell " Yea that's my Sasuke." Naruto didn't react as Sasuke walked back and after a few seconds he heard " Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto walked up and took the five kunai in one hand and threw. Naruto hit all dead center then looked at Iruka seeing him shocked then heard " Perfect score good job."
Naruto smiled and turned and walked back when he heard " That doesn't mean you're cooler than Sasuke." Naruto stopped and looked at Sakura then said " Why should I care if I'm cooler or not then Sasuke or even stronger." Naruto then walked to Hinata and Shikamaru. Naruto heard Shikamaru's name next then he saw Shikamaru throw hitting three dead center and two second outer circles then heard him say " Troublesome." Naruto chuckled as Shikamaru walked back and said " Now you have to actually train because your mom will be up your ass about it." Naruto saw Shikamaru nod so he just nodded. After this was the taijutsu test with Hinata using the gentle fist to take down Ino Naruto fought a student that he easily took down not showing his skill and Shikamaru just said it's too troublesome to fight and napped under a tree.
* Hours Later *
Naruto had walked outside to eat lunch and he quickly found his friends. Naruto walked to them and sat down in the field and started eating. Naruto took a bite when he saw a boy his age wearing a big brown trench coat and shades walk by so he said " How's he?" Naruto looked at Shikamaru seeing him groan then heard " He's Shino Ambrama." Naruto nodded, then remembered what he read over the Ambrama clan and how they have bugs living in them. Naruto also remembered seeing a few and how people gave them disgusted looks like how he got the same." Naruto nodded, standing up, then he walked towards Shino.
Naruto waved his hand and said " Shino." Naruto saw Shino turn around and heard him say nothing so he smiled and said " Would you like to come and eat with me and my friends?" Naruto saw Shino's eye browns rise above his shades then heard " Why?" Naruto shrugged and said, " I don't know besides your clan." Naruto saw Shino nod and heard " I don't want to." Naruto nodded and after a few seconds he realized and said " I'm not giving you pity. I think your clan is cool and would like to learn more. I mean bugs that eat chakra that sound cool." Naruto saw Shino standing there and after a few seconds saw a nod. Naruto smiled and said " Cool." Naruto then turned and walked back to his friends with Shino. Naruto did see Choji and he quickly decided if he found Shino weird he would yell at him. Naruto sat down and after seeing Shino sit he pointed at his friends and gave them names including Choji. Naruto then smiled hearing his friend think the bugs are cool.
Naruto then got to eat with everyone and after eating one of the two sandwiches. Naruto looked at Shino and said " So do your bugs eat food or something?" Naruto saw Shino shake his head and heard " They can eat food but eating chakra will let them live." Naruto nodded, looked at his sandwich, then picked it up. Naruto pulled his sandwich in two down the middle then handed it to Shino and said " For your bugs." Naruto saw Shino nod and take it then set it on the grass and he then saw bags crawl out his sleeve. Naruto just got to eating and quickly finished. Naruto looked at Shino and said " I've heard your clan doesn't really show emotions." Naruto saw Shino nod so he said " Ok well Shino now you're my friend and you can't say no and I am going to get an Ambrama to laugh at." Naruto saw Shino nod and heard " Ok then Naruto I guess you're my friend too." Naruto chuckled when he heard " No." Naruto looked at Shikamaru then heard " Shino's are friends." Naruto nodded and then started asking a lot of questions to Shino's and to his own surprise after answering Naruto still found him not weird." After that they went back into the academy and for the rest of the day they stayed in class learning.
* Later That Day *
Naruto was at a training ground training just arriving only five minutes again. Naruto was practicing his taijutsu when he saw a person so he stopped. Naruto looked at the person seeing the person wearing all black. Naruto saw the person pull out a kunai and heard " Die demon." Naruto stood there in shock as the guy charged and after being taken in by Hiruzen no one has attacked him and truth he got comfortable. Naruto was about to hit with the kunai but he dodged last second getting a cut on the cheek. Naruto could tell just by the speed and the person if the person was a ninja they would be high Chunin. Naruto saw the person turn and throw the kunai and Naruto dodged again. Naruto kept doing this dodge not attacking. Naruto dodged an attack from the person just to be kicked. Naruto fell to the ground and was about to be kicked again but rolled away. Naruto got up and channeled a little bit of the Kyuubi's chakra making his eyes red with slitted pupils. Naruto heard a chuckle in his head so he said in his head " My I?" Naruto heard a chuckle and then heard " Sure." Naruto smirked as his whisker marks became more transparent and his teeth became sharp.
Naruto saw the person in charge when he heard " Dodge." Naruto did that rolling to the side then he heard " Listen carefully." Naruto nodded then listened to the Kyuubi as he gave some hand signs and a jutsu name. Naruto jumped dodging another attack then as he was above the attacker he did some hand signs then said " Devil's Breath" Naruto launched a ball of red and black fire. Naruto landed on the ground seeing the person still standing there for a few seconds then fell but he did no damage. Naruto saw Anbu arrive with the Hokage. Naruto smiled, releasing the Kyuubi chakra he was channeling and said " Why are you here?" Naruto saw the Anbu walk around and heard " The whole village felt a wave of the Kyuubi's Chakra." Naruto did not and said " I was attacked and the Kyuubi helped me defend." Naruto then got a confused look and said " I didn't make that big of a jutsu." Naruto turned to where his attack hit and saw a huge circle of burnt grass that basically covered half of the training field and this field could fight a good house or two in here and not a small one like two story nice backyard houses.
Naruto chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck, then heard one of the Anbu say " It looks like a Fireball." Naruto shook his head and said " It's called Devil's Breath." Naruto looked at the Hokage and said " It was a huge ball of red and black fire." Naruto saw the Hokage nod then heard " Ok." Naruto nodded, then he said " Can I leave? Today was almost a good day." Naruto saw the Hokage nod so he smiled and walked off with his gear and headed to his room.
* Later that Night *
Naruto sighed as he entered his mind and after a few seconds he heard " What do you want kid?" Naruto looked at Kyuubi and said with a smile " Just thank you for allowing me to use your power and for that jutsu." Naruto saw the Kyuubi nod and then heard " Don't expect to be able to do that jutsu still you need my chakra to do it." Naruto nodded and then said " I know you're not just a mindless monster but today I was wondering are you an actual demon?" Naruto saw Kyuubi lay his head on his hands as he laid down and then heard " Yes." Naruto nodded and was about to ask another question when he heard " No more questions." Naruto nodded and said " Ok." Naruto then closed his eyes and opened them, his mindscape changing. Naruto saw Kyuubi open its eyes and raise its head so he said " This is your temple right?" Naruto saw Kyuubi look around then nod so he smiled and said " ok?" Naruto was about to leave when he heard " Why are you doing this?" Naruto looked at Kyuubi and said " Originally because we were stuck together but I read up on you and found out you weren't always thought of as a monster and I know what it's like but my life is better so your's should be." Naruto saw the Kyuubi nod and heard " You know you said that last time I asked?" Naruto nodded and then said " I know but it's the truth so I will say it again every time you ask?" Naruto then disappeared, waking up in the real world then he quickly went to sleep.
