Author's Notes: Everyone is in their cannon outfit beside Naruto and Hinata. Also this chapter is longer than usual and to say to have fun for this chapter.
Chapter 6: All Ninja Know* Six Months Later *
Naruto Uzumaki was walking to the academy happy as today was the day of graduation. Naruto has thought of the last six months and how he's improved a lot in taijutsu, stealth, seals and ninjutsu. Naruto archery has also improved a ton. He also had trained with the Kyuubi's power to a point as the Kyuubi agreed for Naruto to use his power if it's his last choice. Naruto's outfit was slightly different, still wearing the same shoes and pants with the bot pouched on the left thigh. He also had on the hoodie he got from Hinata on his birthday and his right glove he got from Shino and Choji. His left arm and hand was wrapped in a bandage. Naruto was walking when he heard " Naruto."
Naruto turned to look at Hinata and smiled. Naruto looked at Hinata and thought of the six months that has passed and how she's changed a lot. Naruto saw Hinata wearing a black pair of pants with basic ninja shoes with a loose purple jacket. The jacket was loose but it showed Hinata's shape which was good for her age. Naruto also saw Hinata's hands wrapped in bandages going from the wrist covering the palm and in between the thumb and pointer finger with all of her fingers showing. Naruto also saw a black strap across the chest that held a bo staff, the weapon Hinata has trained with for the last six months. Naruto smiled, then walked and put his arm around Hinata's neck and said, " Ready?" Naruto saw Hinata nod so he smiled then said " Ok?" Naruto then squeezed Hinata looking at the purple headband she had then after a few seconds Naruto stopped squeezing and said " Come on."
Naruto then ran to the academy Hinata after him. Naruto quickly arrived at the academy with Hinata next to him so he smiled and said " I win." Naruto heard Hinata chuckle then heard " I know." Naruto then looked around to see his friends so he said " Come on." Naruto walked to his friends and talked to them as they all walked into the academy and also headed to their seats. Naruto was talking to his friends when he heard " You know you won't beat Sasuke in scores." Naruto turned and looked at Sakura then said " Why would I care if I get better scores or not then Sasuke." Naruto saw Sakura get angry and walk off so he turned back to his friends and only talked to them for two minutes when he heard " Naruto." Naruto recognized the voice as Ino so he turned and said " If you're about to tell me that I won't beat Sasuke in scores I already heard it."
Naruto turned towards Ino just to see her glare and walk away so he sighed then looked at his friends and continued talking to his friends. Five minutes later Naruto turned towards the front of the class as class started and Iruka walked in. Naruto looked at Iruka as he looked at a clipboard then up and heard " As you know today is graduation day for you all. In doing so and due to this class having a lot of clan heads the Hokage would be attending the third and final test, the taijutsu test. In doing so the taijutsu is usually the second test so instead you'll be doing the paper test then the ninjutsu and finally taijutsu." Naruto slightly nodded and then heard " Ok well I'll hand out the test and you'll have an hour to take it." Naruto nodded then waited for his test and as soon as it hit the table he got started.
* One Hour Later *
" Test is over, put your pencil down." Naruto followed Iruka's orders happily, he just finished thinking he did good. Naruto saw Iruka quickly gather the paper's then heard " Ok next is the ninjutsu test so when I call your name you'll come down and do the three ninjutsu required." Naruto slightly nodded, then listened to Iruka as he called the first name. Naruto sat there for only a couple of minutes when he heard " So are you going to tell us your way around the clone jutsu?" Naruto looked at Choji and said " No, you're going to have to wait to see." Naruto saw Choji nod when he heard " You're not even going to tell me?" Naruto looked at Hinata and smiled then he put a hand on hers and said " No no matter how cute you look?" Naruto instantly blush at his words as did Hinata and after a few seconds he heard Shikamaru say " You're blushing." Naruto turned hitting Shikamaru in the shoulder and said " Shut up." Naruto then looked at Iruka hearing " Shikamaru Nara." Naruto chuckled and said " Well lazy ass don't fall asleep." Naruto saw Shikamaru chuckle then heard " I wish I just would."
Naruto then looked at Shino and said " I had a theory I wanted to run by you." Naruto saw Shino nod but before he could speak he heard " Choji Akamichi." Naruto looked at Choji and smiled then back at Shino and said " So your bugs eat chakra and can manipulate it to change colors?" Naruto saw Shino nod when he heard " Hinata Yuhi." Naruto looked at Hinata with his hand still on hers so he squeezed it and saw her get up so he looked back at Shino and said " So it could be possible for you to create a bug clone." Naruto saw Shino nod so he said " And it is possible to cast small jutsu's." Naruto saw Shino nod and heard " I'll talk about this to my father." Naruto nodded when he heard " Shino Ambrama." Naruto saw Shino get up and walk down as Hinata walked up so he said " You pass." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he smiled as Hinata sat down.
" Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto looked at Iruka and stood up and walked down. Naruto stood in front of Iruka as he looked at a clipboard and then heard " First Transformation." Naruto nodded and did some hand signs then transformed into Iruka. Naruto saw Iruka nod so he dispelled the transformation then heard " Replacement jutsu." Naruto nodded and replaced himself with Shikamaru. Naruto saw Iruka nod so he did the jutsu again on Shikamaru to get back and after a couple of seconds heard " Ok Clone Jutsu." Naruto nodded then smiled as he put his fingers into a cross sign then said " Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu." Naruto saw five clones appear in a poof of smoke when he saw Iruka shake then heard " What?" Naruto chuckled and said " I can't do the normal clone jutsu without getting a high Chunin to low Jonin Chakra control. Due to my extreme huge amounts of chakra I found a loophole around the test and did a different clone jutsu." Naruto saw Iruka nod then heard " Ok." Naruto smiled then went back to his seat and talked to his friends as the last few people took the ninjutsu part of the test.
Naruto smiled at Hinata as she talked about how the cooking lessons are going with Kurenai. " Ok everyone, time to go outside for the taijutsu test and I've gotten a message from the Hokage that to try your best all of you and that to not be nervous about your performance he won't take you out of being a ninja." Naruto nodded as did everyone then stood up. Naruto watched everyone walk to the door and leave and as he saw Hinata about to follow so he grabbed Hinata's wrist. Naruto smiled as Hinata looked at him when he heard " You ok?" Naruto nodded and let go then watched as Hinata walked off. Naruto just smiled as he looked at Hinata when he heard " Naruto." Naruto looked at Iruka and quickly walked to him when he saw Iruka's arm in front of him then heard " I've seen you look at her like that all day what's up?" Naruto sighed then said " Shikamaru is my first friend my age but I'm extremely close to Hinata and I really want to tell her the truth about me. I'm afraid to hurt all my other friends but also I don't want to lose Hinata or any of them." Naruto saw Iruka nod then heard " It's up to you but I won't do it know maybe in the future." Naruto nodded then left with Iruka out to the sparring area.
Naruto walked to Hinata and smiled when he heard " What kept you back?" Naruto just smiled and said " I had to talk to Iruka." Naruto saw Hinata nod then look forward as an academy sensei walked up and heard " This is the third and final exam of the graduation test, the taijutsu test. The rules are simple: you have to have a one on one taijutsu fight with me and last at least five minutes or you defeat me. As you're still Genin your Taijutsu skills aren't as good as a Chunin I will only use fifty percent at most if your Taijutsu is that good and at least thirty percent." Naruto saw everyone nod as did he then he heard a name call up. Naruto looked at Hinata and just smiled then looked back at the fight.
* An Hour Later *
Hinata had spent the last hour watching academy students fight, lasting five minutes at most. She also watched Shino and Choji fight the academy sensei as well. Hinata watched as a student walked back tired when she heard " Hinata Yuhi." Hinata walked up to where she needed to stand then she got into her stance with her staff on the back of her neck one hand on it. Hinata stood there when she heard " Start." Hinata charged her staff down and towards Chunin's ribs. Hinata saw the man step back to dodge but she smiled, twirling , going to one knee fast and hitting Chunin in the leg. Hinata then twirled again, coming up hitting Chunin in the face. Hinata put the end of the staff at the Chunin's neck when she stumbled back due to the Chunin kicking her in the guy. Hinata ducked and dodged a punch from the Chunin and after dodging three punches Hinata jumped over the Chunin then hit the side of the knee making the Chunin fall then she put a kunai to the Chunin's neck.
Hinata saw the Chunin nod so she pulled back the kunai and put her weapon away then walked back to the other hearing " Sakura Haruno." Hinata just walked to Naruto and smiled hearing " Less than two minutes." Hinata smiled then stood next to Naruto when she felt an arm around her neck then heard " You did great." Hinata smiled at that and nodded, then said " Can't wait to see your match." Hinata heard Naruto chuckle so she leaned her head against his shoulder blushing slightly but didn't care. Hinata watched the fight not seeing the brown hair boy with a white dog glaring at Naruto.
* Another Hour Later *
Naruto saw a student walk back from their spare when he realized he's the last student that hasn't been spared. Naruto saw the Chunin look at him for a couple of seconds then heard the Chunin say with slight venom " Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto walked up and got to where he needed to stand then he got into his stance with his bow in hand. Naruto saw the Chunin get into a stance then after a couple seconds heard " Start." Naruto just saw the Chunin smirk when he heard " Die Demon." Naruto's eyes widened so he jumped over as a stream of fire. Naruto drew two arrows and fired at the Chunin just to see the ninja dodge and all he could do was groan. Naruto was kicked in the back and as he fell forward he rolled on the ground then he jumped in the air and threw a couple of kunai at another ninja. Naruto ducked, dodging a kick from Chunin , then he punched Chunin in the gut, then brought his knee to Chunin's face. Naruto was hit in the back with a kick and as he fell to the ground he looked at the Hokage hearing him yell " Stand down."
Naruto looked at the ninja hearing " Sorry Hokage-sama but you're old enough to get to you, we need to kill this demon." Naruto groaned standing up and said " You don't want to be executed." Naruto saw the ninja glare at him then heard " You shut up the demon. You destroyed this village fourteen years ago." Naruto looked at the ninja hearing the Hokage say " You speak one more word…" Naruto was surprised by the ninja interrupting the Hokage by saying " Hokage-sama you need to see that this brat is the Kyuubi." Naruto saw the Hokage appear behind the ninja as the ninja was put to the ground by the old ninja then heard " You'll be executed by breaking the law." Naruto smiled a little when he heard " Demon." Naruto looked at Sakura then he just realized everyone knows so he looked around mainly landing on his friends seeing them nod with a smile even Shino. Naruto looked for Hinata hopping when he saw her go around a corner so he frowned.
Naruto just looked at the Hokage seeing him frown and heard " Sorry." Naruto shook his head when he heard " We've been in the same room as a fucking demon." Naruto sighed when he heard " Shut up." Naruto looked at Shikamaru seeing him nod so he smiled when he heard Choji say " So what if he's the Kyuubi he's the nicest demon I know." Naruto chuckled and said " To be clear I hold him." Naruto saw Choji nod then heard " You all need to tell the difference between the kunai and the scroll." Naruto looked at Shino and smiled then said " Come on, let me go and explain everything." Naruto saw his friends shake their heads then heard Shino say " Go after her." Naruto looked at the Hokage then at Iruka hearing " You've passed." Naruto nodded and ran off towards Hinata looking for her.
Hinata stood in a training ground as she just ran here. She was shocked by the truth and didn't know if she thought of Naruto as a demon or him. Hinata just stood there looking at the ground when she heard " Hinata." Hinata looked up at Naruto and was shook and slightly scared. Hinata stepped back as Naruto stepped forward and after a few seconds heard " I want to clarify I hold the fox, I'm not the fox." Hinata just stood there when she heard " Hinata say something." Hinata looked up at Naruto now angry and yelled " What the hell do you want me to say to Naruto if that's your name." Hinata saw Naruto flitch at that and her heart sank seeing it. Hinata just looked at Naruto and said " I want the truth now." Hinata saw Naruto nod and then heard him say " Fourteen years ago during the Kyuubi attack the fourth couldn't destroy the Kyuubi so he sealed it into me. Everyone knew beside our generation and after being kicked out of the orphanage at four I've lived on my own since. I've been attacked all my life, the villager's taking the anger out on me." Hinata nodded, then saw Naruto look up and heard " from October third to October ninth I wouldn't be attacked for those days and almost beaten to death on my birthday."
Hinata nodded then after a couple seconds heard " I had no one my parents dead so a year ago from tomorrow I tried to end it but Shikamaru saved my life. I soon lived in the tower and you know the rest." Hinata nodded then heard " I've met with the Kyuubi and truth I trust him to an extent. I don't take his power by force, he lets me use it and I'll only use it if I have no choice. I've also trained to use his power to an extent." Hinata nodded, then after a couple minutes said " Were you ever planning on telling anyone?" Hinata saw Naruto sign then heard " At first no but when you surprised me with a party on my birthday I almost broke down and told you and I've wanted to since but I'm afraid to lose you and all of you." Hinata just nodded and then said " I've got something else but give me a second." Hinata shook her head and said " Why?"
Hinata saw Naruto sigh then heard " It's easier to explain but I need to tell you about Kyuubi's past but that's not my secret to tell." Hinata nodded then saw Naruto close his eyes then after a couple seconds open them. Hinata saw Naruto take off his gear and jacket then un rape the top of the bandages to show some red skin and heard " The Kyuubi is really a demon as there use to be hundreds. There have been three holders of the Kyuubi both of them forcing him to give them power but I haven't in doing so working with the fox. My arm is slowly turning red and my fingernails black." Hinata saw Naruto wrap up the arm again then heard " So?" Hinata shrugged and heard " So you talk to that thing?" Hinata looked at Naruto, seeing him nod and heard " Yeah and truth he's not that bad once you get used to him but I ask you not to call him a monster nor demon in front of me." Hinata looked at Naruto seeing him look down and heard " I understand."
Hinata saw Naruto put his stuff back on then start to walk away and after seeing him take a couple of steps she yelled " Wait." Hinata saw Naruto stop the turn around and tear down his cheeks and heard " Please I'm begging you just not know." Hinata closed the distance between them and said, grabbing his hand, " I don't trust Kyuubi but I trust you so I might be hesitant at first but I don't hate you." Hinata saw Naruto smile like no one could, then she felt a hug and heard " Thank you Hinata." Hinata nodded and then heard " I do have one more thing you want to know." Hinata nodded, then listened to Naruto as he explained about the Namikaze myth. Hinata then went with Hinata and saw him explain everything to the rest of the friends beside his arm which she didn't mention either.
