* Couple Days Later *
Kurenai Yuhi was standing in the Hokage's office with Kakashi Hatake and Asuma Sarutobi. They're the last three Jonin senseis that haven't requested their team. Kurenai saw the Hokage look at the three of them and then heard " Ok you are the last three Jonin senseis so Kakashi you're first." Kurenai looked at the masked Jonin, seeing him nod and heard " I'm Kakashi Hatake, Leader of team seven. I request Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki. Sasuke is the last Uchiha and so I can train him in his Dojutsu while also turning him into a good balance person. Sakura Haruno has good chakra control and basically someone I could make into anything and plan a medic. Naruto Uzumaki has huge chakra capacity and knowing the Shadow Clone Jutsu I can teach him tons of Ninjutsu and turn him into a Ninjutsu power house also I could start training him in using the fox's power." Kurenai sighed then said " Hokage-sama may I speak?" Kurenai saw the Hokage nod so he looked at Kakashi and said " Kakashi I've asked him if he would want to learn to use the fox's powers and he told me no as it's not his power so he's not powerful and refuses to uses the power of the Kyuubi."
Kurenai saw Kakashi nod and heard " Noted." Kurenai nodded, then looked forward, seeing the Hokage look at his son, then heard, " I'm Assuma Sarutobi, leader of team ten. My requests are Ino Yamanaka, Choji Akamichi and Shikamaru Nara. I believe I can turn them into a better trio than their parents and would be forced to reckon with." Kurenai nodded then looked at the Hokage seeing him look at her so she said " I'm Kurenai Yuhi, leader of team eight. I request Hinata Yuhi, Shikamaru Nara and Naruto Uzumaki." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod and heard " First why Shikamaru Nara." Kurenai nodded then said " First everyone knows that the InoShikaCho trio has better team work than the Sannin." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod so she said " Yes the trio is good but say the next generation of Sannin had the same summoning contracts their whole style is different but with the trio they use their clan jutsu. Shino would be better for Assuma's team as Shino's bugs drain chakra and can do similar things like a Nara but have some other benefits."
Kurenai saw the Hokage nod just to hear " That's a good idea I don't mind switching and want to." Kurenai smiled then looked at the Hokage hearing " Next Naruto." Kurenai nodded and said " First Naruto has been working on stealth for the last year and is extremely well but also he's good with seals and is useful. He's also better equipped for stealth." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod then heard " That is true but Naruto would give Sasuke a challenge and they both would get stronger off of it." Kurenai shook her head and said " Naruto doesn't care for being the strongest so he wouldn't challenge Sasuke but also do to everyone knowing I think Naruto needs people. Sasuke is power hungry and would demand almost everything from Naruto and if you make him you'll not even connect to him and Kakashi trust me after just a month if you do that he would quit." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod so she said " As you know Naruto talks to Anko about his problems and Anko tells me to an extent nothing in detail but just yesterday I found out Naruto broke down in front of her as he was extremely scared of losing his friends. He's still broken and if he's on a team with people who don't expect him he might try and kill himself again."
Kurenai saw the Hokage nod but heard " He would apply to convince Sasuke and Sakura also I still think he'll push Sasuke which would push him." Kurenai chuckled and said ' No." Kurenai looked at Kakashi and said " Truth is that Naruto talks to the fox and his closest friend. He would have pushed away if they insulted the fox in front of him. He has asked permission to use the fox's power and only will use it if he has no choice. Also that arm that is wrapped is a project I have no idea and he's told Anko about it and what I could tell it's not complete and I'll admit this she's the most crazy ninja we have who can do stuff we would puck if we did but she told me the project if used on her would make her shit herself." Kurenai then looked at the Hokage and said " Also Naruto uses poisons and advances fast with powerful poisons." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod then heard " Kurenai." Kurenai looked at Kakashi to hear " With Naruto and my request I can make the next generation Sannin." Kurenai nodded then said " Yea and you would get that Sasuke would leave for power Naruto would leave as he can't stand being in the village to do something and Sakura would mope around."
Kurenai looked at the Hokage and saw him nod so he looked back at Kakashi and said " So yes Kakashi you would create the next generation of Sannin and no offense to the Hokage but you would most likely mess up in a way like he did." Kurenai saw Kakashi grow angry and saw him about to speak when she heard " That's enough." Kurenai looked at the Hokage and heard " I'm not offended by Kurenai but I don't know. Maybe Kakashi is right. You'll know my decision day for team assignments." Kurenai nodded and said, " Hokage-sama, I have one more piece to give." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod so she said " Naruto doesn't just have his arm bandage up to hide his project. Hinata knows something and refuses to tell me which I stopped praying on but I can tell it's important for her not to tell and do to her being really close to Naruto it's important for him to hide." Kurenai saw the Hokage nod so she smiled and said " Ok." Kurenai then left with the rest of the Jonin senseis and quickly headed home.
Naruto was in his mind looking at Kyuubi and said " You wanted to talk." Naruto saw the Kyuubi nod then heard " Kid I'll admit this you're the first to treat me like this and I know you've trained with my power more to get used to it but I would like to train you in my ninjutsu." Naruto nodded and then said " Ok but there are some rules." Naruto saw the Kyuubi nod so he said " First I'll only use it as a last resort and second do to me needing your chakra. I can use it no matter what even if we don't get along during a mission. After a mission you don't want me to use your power any more I won't use it." Naruto saw the Kyuubi nod then heard " Deal." Naruto nodded just to hear " Do to my chakra though you can only use these jutsus and not anyone else or your clones as they'll just dispel with that much chakra going through them." Naruto nodded and then said " Ok." Naruto then turned his head hearing a knock then said " Someone's at my door got to go." Naruto saw Kyuubi nod so he closed his eyes.
Naruto opened his eyes into his room then got off his bed and opened the door to see Hinata. Naruto smiled and stepped to the side as Hinata walked in and said " Sorry I was talking to the fox." Naruto saw Hinata nodding so he said " What's up?" Naruto saw Hinata turn and heard " Being on teams means we might not see each other that much." Naruto nodded and then heard " So I wanted to come and just hang out as we might only have a few days." Naruto nodded but saw something else Hinata wanted so he said " Spill." Naruto saw Hinata just nod and then heard " It's just you are still a little nervous and everytime I get nervous even thinking of you my heart just drops." Naruto just smiled and said " I know what it's like." Naruto saw Hinata just look at him so he walked to his bed and sat then said " After I learned of what happened to you my heart dropped every time I was around you as I thought my presence made you think you're just a burden but then I remembered that you would come to me if that was true so I slowly stopped feeling that." Naruto heard a chuckle so he said " Hinata I'll be fine really and you will be too." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " I know but…" Naruto just smiled and gestured for Hinata to sit down next to him.
Naruto looked at Hinata and said " I've talked to the fox about three months ago about his power as he told me negative emotions will draw upon it." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he said " I found out that Kyuubi can stop that but if my negative emotion is really really strong I can call upon his power and go crazy attacking everyone. Ever since I've been working on a seal that I'll place on myself that I would give my sensei to stop me. If you want I can show you the hand signs and I won't be offended or care as if it makes you feel safe I'll be happy." Naruto saw Hinata nod with nervousness so he said " Hinata it's fine I trust you with my life." Naruto saw Hinata nod then felt her head on his arm then heard " Can I tell you something?" Naruto nodded and a minute in silence heard " Truth is that I was happy once I found you why you were hated." Naruto was shoo but waited for Hinata to finish and after another minute in silence heard " I was always hated by the Hyuga's for who I am and when I found out the truth I felt like we're more similar." Naruto chuckled, then looked at Hinata and said " Ok." Naruto saw Hinata smile and nod then head " Have you talked to any of our friends?" Naruto shook his head and said " I wanted to give them time." Naruto heard a chuckle from Hinata then heard " Listen up."
* Two Days Earlier *
Shikamaru was standing in the kitchen as his father walked in with his mother so he said " We need to talk?" Shikamaru saw his parents nod so he said " What do you think of Naruto and the truth and don't lie because I know you were just a council meeting where the Hokage told you what happen." Shikamaru saw his dad nod then heard " I don't think of him as a demon but truth everytime I see him I get angry. I know it wasn't Naruto Shikamaru but the fox is in him and sometimes all I want to do is hurt him." Shikamaru nodded and then said " Ok." Shikamaru looked at his mother just to get nothing so he said " Why didn't you help him?" Shikamaru looked at his dad and said " If you know it wasn't his fault you should have at least helped him when he was attacked. He was beaten half to death, attacked." Shikamaru saw his father nod and he was just angry so he yelled " He was a fucking kid Dad!" " Language." Shikamaru looked at his mother and said " Fuck no you and this whole clan didn't help a fucking child from being attack. I know his past and I finally understand why he tried to end it a year ago."
Shikamaru just saw his father nod but heard his mother say " That demon should die." Shikamaru looked at his mother and shook just to hear " I wanted to kill him every time you went out with him. I wanted to run after you and put a kunai on him." Shikamaru glared at his mother and yelled " You're the monster!" Shikamaru saw his mother shaking so he yelled " When it was exposed I first thought he was the fox but it didn't matter as I know Naruto but when he told me he just held the fox I didn't care then! He was beaten and almost killed." Shikamaru took a breath then said " I get if you hate him because he holds the Kyuubi you can't stop but if you think of him as a monster then you're the fucking monster." Shikamaru saw his father step and heard " That's enough?" Shikamaru shook his head and said " No it's not." Shikamaru looked at his mother and said " I'll eat, sleep in this place and train but I refuse to talk to you until you see the right side." Shikamaru saw his mother shake then heard " What has the demon done to you?" Shikamaru shook his head and yelled " Nothing god dammit and to my concern you're the demon not Naruto."
Choji stood in his living room eating as his mother walked in on his father there so he said " What's your thoughts on Naruto?" Choji saw his parents tense and heard " I don't hate him or angry at him." Choji nodded and said, " Then why didn't you help him?" Choji looked at his father then his mother, setting the food down just to hear " I had an image…" Choji interrupted his father by yelled " Fuck the clan's Image!" Choji saw his father shaking at his words but he looked at his mother and heard " I don't think of him as a demon but I can't stop but hate him?" Choji nodded still angry when he heard " I remember seeing him dig through the garbage out in the back of the restaurant so I started wrapping some leftover food and putting it next to the garbage." Choji nodded and said, " At least you helped him a little." Choji looked at his dad seeing him frown then heard " Choji you need to understand that Naruto is hated by the village and even if we gave him some food it would look bad." Choji shook his head and said " It doesn't matter he could have had at least a slightly better life if you did the right thing." Choji then walked to his room slamming his door.
Naruto was shaken by what Hinata told him so he looked at Hinata and said " What about Shino?" Naruto heard a chuckle then heard " Do to their clan it was a shouting match but his Father hates you and his mother didn't. Shino accepted this and told his mother you should have helped and his father that he needs to see the right side." Naruto chuckled just to hear you have good friends." Naruto shook his head and said " No, I have a good family." Naruto looked at Hinata and said " Would've you yelled at your father?" Naruto saw Hinata shake her head and heard " I don't have a father and Kurenai doesn't hate you so I have no idea what I would say." Naruto nodded and said " Ok." Naruto just smiled when he heard " Don't blame yourself if their families are broken, it's the parents fault not yours." Naruto nodded then said, squeezing Hinata against his body " I'm pretty sure you would have just walked out of the compound and not returned."
