Author's Notes: I want to say sorry for this chapter being short but I didn't have anything to put but the next chapter is going to be longer as I make this on a google document and every chapter is four pages long. Thank you all for the reviews and views even though I can't see it.
Chapter 14: Death of Naruto Uzumaki* One Day Later *
Naruto sighed as he exited the Hokage tower just wearing his ninja outfit without his weapons. Naruto looked up seeing Iruka and Anko so he smiled and walked up and said " Hey I thought I was meeting you at your apartment?" Naruto saw Iruka shrug and heard " We wanted to talk to you." Naruto nodded and then said " Ok." Naruto saw Iruka smile and heard " Well we were going to go to the Akimichi restaurant why don't you come." Naruto just nodded then walked with them to the restaurant.
* Twenty Minutes Later *
Naruto saw meat being set in front of him so he started eating and after eating two pieces of meat he heard " So those clans protecting you." Naruto looked confused when he saw Iruka chuckle so he looked at the meat hanging out of his mouth so he took his fork and pushed the meat in her mouth. Naruto ate and after finishing the food he said " What are you talking about." Naruto saw Iruka look at him in confusion then heard " When you went on your C-rank mission a council meeting was called for you to leave. During the meeting the Nara, Akimichi and Ambrama clan said they would leave the village if you or your friends were hurt. Also the Hokage threatened the village if it happens as well." Naruto looked at Anko in shock then heard " You never knew?" Naruto shook his head and said " What?" Naruto heard Anko chuckle so he just leaned back, shook and mumbled " What?" Naruto just smiled as a couple of tears fell down his cheeks. Naruto whipped his cheeks and sighed then said " That's nice to know." Naruto smiled and continued eating. Naruto finished eating his first plate of five BBQ slap meat.
Naruto saw his second place being placed so he smiled at the waiter and said " Thanks." Naruto saw the waiter nod and heard " Anytime Naruto." Naruto smiled and ate two pieces of BBQ meat when he heard " Naruto." Naruto looked up at Iruka seeing him smile then heard Anko say " So you and Hinata have been hanging out all the time." Naruto looked at Anko seeing a smirk so he sighed and said " She refuses to leave my side since Wave." Naruto saw Anko nod so he said " So what are the two planning on moving into?" Naruto put a third piece of BBQ meat in his mouth as he saw Iruka shrug then heard " We are thinking of an apartment. Two bedrooms, one bath." Naruto nodded and said " Cool." Naruto saw Iruka nod so he smiled and nodded.
Haku was walking through Konoha heading home after a long day of training. Haku was just looking around when he ran into someone so he turned with a smile and said " Sorry." Haku saw Ino turn around with a smile and heard " Haku right." Haku nodded and then said " Sorry about that." Haku then turned and was about to walk off when he heard " Hey Haku." Haku turned towards Ino and heard " I'm sorry for how I was earlier, why don't we go get something to eat and talk." Haku shook his head when he heard " I promise I won't insult Naruto." Haku sighed and nodded, then said " Fine." Haku saw Ino nod then heard " I'm heading to the Akimichi restaurant." Haku nodded then followed Ino there.
* Fifteen Minutes Later *
Haku saw the restaurant in the distance so he looked at Ino then back seeing Naruto run out of the restaurant with two people walking out after then walking away. Haku sighed and shook his head then looked at Ino and said " So I've never been here. How is the food?" Haku saw Ino smile and heard " Great, I used to come here almost everyday to eat." Haku chuckled, then he looked forward and said, " Why do you want to be friends with me?" Haku saw Ino sigh then heard " Truth I don't have any true friends. I used to have one but I ruined it by acting like I liked the same guy as her and now she's obsessed. I act like that around her but it gets annoying." Haku nodded and said, " THat's nice to know but you insult my friends all the time. Why do you think this would work?" Haku saw Ino shrug and heard " I think of him as a demon like everyone else but he doesn't act like one and I'm mainly confused." Haku chuckled and said " Ok. "Haku grabbed the door of the restaurant and opened it then gestured for Ino to enter.
Haku quickly sat at a table and after just a few seconds in silence he saw a waitress walk up and heard " Would you like the usual." Haku saw Ino nod then heard " Two plates of Honey BBQ pork and a side of fries and some Root Beer." Haku saw the waitress nod and then heard " I would like to tell you that the soda isn't cold yet as we just got some more after running out." Haku saw Ino nod then heard " Ok then don't get it." Haku saw the woman nod so he said " Same with two drinks." Haku saw the woman nod then walk off so he looked at Ino seeing her confused so he said " I'll show you." Haku saw Ino nod so he smiled then they both had small talk.
* With Naruto Ten Minutes Earlier *
Naruto was sitting at the table with Iruka and Anko finishing his third plate of meat when he heard " Naruto." Naruto saw Iruka smile then held some papers and heard " I need you to look at these for me and give me an answer." Naruto nodded then took them. Naruto didn't look at the title and just looked through the papers to see what was written. Naruto turned the page to see some more writing then a signature which he read: Iruka Umino. Naruto saw another line and below it read: Child's Signature. Naruto got completely confused so he turned the page back to the first and looked at the title and read: Ninja Child Adoption. Naruto looked at the papers then back at Iruka hearing " I want to adopt you Naruto and move in with me and Anko. You don't have to call me dad or Anko mom and you don't even have to change your name." Naruto just looked at Iruka then he set the papers on the table. Naruto just looked at the papers when he heard " Naruto you can think about this." Naruto looked up at Iruka in complete shock then he moved out of the table and ran out of the restaurant having no idea where he's heading.
Haku smiled as his food arrived and after nodding he looked around. Haku grabbed both cups and slowed his breathing, focusing his chakra. Haku felt the cups get cold and after feeling them cold enough he let go and pushed one towards Ino. Haku saw Ino grab the cup then look at him in shock so he said " I have a bloodline that lets me do ice Ninjutsu." Haku saw Ino look at him in shock then heard " Screw being a ninja you'll be the new soda man here." Haku chuckled when he heard " Thank you." Haku nodded and then said " Ino why don't you repair your friendship?" Haku saw Ino sigh then heard " My friend's family is getting an abscess and she is with Sasuke Uchiha. I also can't as I ruined the friendship." Haku nodded and then heard " But I would like to maybe have a friendship with you." Haku sighed when he heard " I won't insult Naruto again even not in your presence and maybe you can help me see if Naruto is what people think he is or just human." Haku nodded and then said " Ok but there is one thing." Haku saw Ino nod so he said " Once a week I want to hear one positive thing about Naruto you have to say." Haku saw Ino nod then heard " Deal." Haku chuckled then started eating.
Naruto sat on top of the Fourth Hokage's stone head looking over the village and tears down his cheeks. Naruto looked over the village when he turned sensing someone to see Hinata. Naruto whipped the tears and stood up and said with a smile, " Hinata." Naruto saw Hinata smile sadly and heard " Naruto I know what Iruka asked you." Naruto stood there shaking when he heard " Anko got scared and ran to Kurenai. I overheard everything and instantly came searching for you." Naruto nodded, then said " What do I do? I don't know whether to accept or reject and if I reject I will look. I don't care about Iruka and if I do, it looks like I'm greedy and want more people and love." Naruto saw Hinata walk up and then felt a hug. Naruto just stood there when he heard " No one would think that." Naruto chuckled and then saw Hinata pull back so he said " You decide." Naruto saw Hinata shocked and then heard " No." Naruto sighed when he turned and looked over the village and said " I don't know."
Naruto felt Hinata hug him from the side so he put his arm around her shoulder and just looked at her. Naruto smiled at Hinata thankful he had her and after staring at her for a few seconds said " Hinata." Naruto saw Hinata move so he smiled and said " I'm going to need you to stop dating Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto saw Hinata's eyes go wide and her step back so he said " And I want you to date Naruto Umino." Naruto saw Hinata glare at him then felt a punch on his shoulder and heard " Not funny." Naruto chuckled, then he looked at Hinata and said " I'm going to sign the documents and take Iruka's name." Naruto saw Hinata smile then he felt her lips touch his so he closed his eyes melting into her as they both made out.
* Twenty Minutes Later *
Naruto looked at Hinata, his arm around her shoulders. Naruto leaned his face in kissing the side of her head and said " Thank you." Naruto saw Hinata just nod then heard " I like you accepting me." Naruto chuckled when he saw he was near Kurenai's house so he moved his arm and said " See you tomorrow." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he was about to turn off when he saw Iruka and Anko walk out of Kurenai's house so he smiled then ran up to them. Naruto stopped as he saw a nervous Iruka so he smiled and said " I will accept if you let me do one thing." Naruto saw Iruka nodding so he said " Let me take your name Iruka." Naruto saw Iruka's eyes widened so he smiled just to hear " Yes of course." Naruto smiled, then he hugged Iruka and Anko, whispering " Thank you for asking me." Naruto felt a nod so he pulled back and said " Today is the death of Naruto Uzumaki and the birth of Naruto Umino."
