Naruto sighed as he sat at a bridge with Shikamaru and Hinata waiting for Kurenai. Naruto was thinking how it's been living with Iruka and Anko at the new apartment. Naruto felt a nug in his shoulder so he looked up seeing Kurenai. Naruto smiled at her then he saw her hold out three slips of paper and heard " I recommended you three to enter the Chunin exams. You need to sign these papers and talk them to room 303 at the academy." Naruto nodded and then said " Ok." Naruto saw Kurenai nod and then heard " Dismiss." Naruto nodded then turned when he heard " Naruto you want to go do some extra training?" Naruto looked at Hinata and smiled with a nod when he heard Shikamaru say " I got to do something at my compound anyways." Naruto just nodded with a smile. Naruto saw Shikamaru walk away and after seeing him disappear behind some trees he looked at Hinata with a smile.
Naruto saw Hinata walk up to him getting closer and he was about to kiss her when he felt a huge demonic chakra. Naruto turned his head when he heard " Naruto you ok?" Naruto shook his head as he channeled Kyuubi's chakra then thought ' Kyuubi what is this?' Naruto didn't get an answer then after close to a minute heard " It's powerful but no idea." Naruto nodded, then said, " Hinata, I need to go do something." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " We met in an hour." Naruto nodded then ran off wanting to find this chakra.
Naruto hopped onto a rooftop looking around the village when he felt the chakra coming from the main gate which is on the north side of the village. Naruto ran in that direction and after five minutes he stopped on a rooftop looking at the gate. He saw two people, one in a catsuit with something wrapped in bandages behind his back, Naruto then looked at a woman wearing a bing shirt that stopped just above the knees. The shirt was pink and under it was a mesh shirt with a metal item on her back. Naruto looked at the two ninja seeing that they are from sand but also the chakra isn't from them. Naruto sighed but jumped down and walked up to the ninja. Naruto smiled when he heard the boy in the catsuit " What do you want, leaf ninja." Naruto sighed and was about to speak when he heard " My brother Shikaku." Naruto looked around confusing the ninja so he looked at them and said " Where is your third teammate?" Naruto saw the two ninjas get scared so he sighed then said " Sorry you must know his secret so I'll tell you mine. I'm his brother Mr. Nine." Naruto saw the two ninja confused for a couple of seconds then their eyes widened.
Naruto heard a chuckle so he looked past the ninja seeing a boy his age with red short hair. He was wearing a black jumpsuit with mesh clothes coming out the edge with a brown and white sash across the chest and a gorg on the back. Naruto saw black lines across one side of the face with one eye black with a golden eye so he sighed. Naruto walked up and put his hand out and said " You must be Mr. One." Naruto saw the boy just looking at him then heard " Father wants your blood." Naruto looked at the demon holder then said " Shikaku if you're hearing this let's just say I know more about your kind than anyone else." Naruto saw no reaction then he heard " Gaara you ok?" Naruto saw the holder shake his head then look at the boy in the cat suit and heard " Kankuro shut up or I'll kill you." Naruto sighed then looked at the girl and said " His seal is unstable isn't it?" Naruto saw the woman nod nervously." Naruto nodded, then looked at Gaara and said " No killing in this village." Naruto saw Gaara look at him then heard " Father wants blood he gets blood." Naruto chuckled then leaned in and said " Demon Style Separation of Chakra and soul. I'll use that on you if you kill someone that is not in the exams." Naruto pulled his head back seeing Gaara shook then nodded so he turned and said " Also be nice to your teammates." Naruto sighed walking off heading to the Hokage's Office knowing that Hiruzen wants to know.
* Ten Minutes Later *
Naruto entered the Hokage's office seeing Hiruzen doing paperwork so he walked up to the desk and stood there for a few seconds." Naruto saw Hiruzen completely distracted so he said " Jiji." Naruto saw the Hokage look up and smile then heard " Naruto Umino what can I do for you." Naruto chuckled then said " Jiji I wish I wanted to come and see you but I have something you should know." Naruto saw the Hokage nod so he looked around and then said " Jiji, this has to do with my kind." Naruto saw Hiruzen nod again then wave his hand. Naruto saw many blurs then he saw a seal appear on the door and walls so he looked at Hiruzen and said " Suna sent their demon holder who is unstable. I talked to him and made a threat that made the demon not do anything. The holder is basically crazy and extremely unstable." Naruto saw Hiruzen nod then heard " Ok I'll send him back." Naruto shook his head and said " Jiji the Kazekage wouldn't send him unless he's planning something. With Kyuubi's help I can deal with the holder so don't worry but I will let him stay." Naruto saw Jiji look at him nervously so he said " Trust me and after we stop anything that the Kazekage pulls with your student's help we can create a new seal that will help stabilize him." Naruto saw Hiruzen nod then heard " Fine but if he kills you'll be in trouble for it." Naruto nodded and said, " Let's just say I threatened to destroy his chakra system." Naruto saw Hiruzen chuckle then heard " Of course you know a jutsu like that." Naruto nodded with a smile then said " Yea." Naruto then talked to the hokage for a few minutes then left heading to go get something to eat.
* Next Day *
Naruto sighed as he stood in front of the academy with Hinata and Shikamaru. Naruto looked at their teammates and smiled then said " Ready?" Naruto saw his teammates nod so he entered. Naruto walked up to the second floor and started walking to the stairs to go to the third floor. Naruto looked around seeing the room numbers go from the two hundreds to the three hundreds so he chuckled when he saw a group of many genin from different villages fighting two other ninja that won't let them in. Naruto recognized the two genin at the door blocking others' just transformation of the gate guards so he sighed then he mumbled " Let's go to the stairs discreetly." Naruto saw his teammates nod so he smiled. Naruto then was about to start to walk when he felt Hinata grab his wrist so he looked at her. Naruto saw Hinata looking at someone else so he looked at who she's looking at seeing Neji. ( Neji looks like he does in a cannon). Naruto sighed then said grabbing her hand " Let's go don't beat yourself up." Naruto saw Hinata nod then look at him so he smiled then guided her and Shikamaru to the stairway. Naruto saw Hinata smile as their hands disconnected then he watched her as she walked upstairs.
Naruto sighed when he heard " What was that about?" Naruto looked at Shikamaru with a small smile then said " His name is Neji and was Hinata's cousin. When Hinata was the cloud ninja that came for peace kidnapped her. Haisha killed the ninja and Cloud wanted his head so they sent Neji's father as they were twins. Neji hated the main branch and took his anger out on Hinata. Hinata tried her best to be family to Neji and always tried. She feels guilty that she couldn't help." Naruto saw Shikamaru nod then heard " Got it." Naruto nodded, then he went up with his teammates. Naruto entered another room full of ninjas.
Naruto looked at Shikamaru then around when he heard " Hey you're the Kyuubi holder right?" Naruto turned to look at a boy that is about three or four years older than him with silver hair and wearing a purple outfit and glasses. Naruto nodded and then said " Yes." Naruto saw the boy smile and heard " I'm Kabuto." Naruto nodded and said, " What do you want, Kabuto?" Before anything else could be said he heard " Ino pig get off my Sasuke." Naruto turned to see Ino with her arms around Sasuke's neck. Naruto chuckled when he saw Ino move and he swore he saw her smirk but he just sighed then looked back at Kabuto.
Naruto saw Kabuto smile then heard " I wanted to offer some information on your enemies." Naruto looked at the man and nodded, then said " I'm fine." " Naruto saw Kabuto nod when he heard " I want information." Naruto looked at Sasuke just to hear " Rock Lee." Naruto saw Kabuto pull out a card so Naruto took the card and looked at the card when he heard pull it back. Naruto chuckled and said " This is some nice work. The seal is great and this data is almost impossible to get. By your age you've taken the Chunin Exams six or seven times but your chakra reserves say otherwise so you're not telling the truth or the whole truth." Naruto heard a gulp. Naruto looked at Kabuto and handed back the card and said " Just an observation." Naruto saw Kabuto nod and walk away so he said " Nice to meet you."
Naruto let out a deep breath then he looked at Shikamaru and said " Thank you." Naruto saw Shikamaru nod as he walked towards him then heard " Shadow Mimicry." Naruto nodded and said, " I wonder what the test is." Naruto saw Shikamaru nod then heard " Same." Naruto smiled then he looked at Hinata seeing her look at Neji so he sighed then said patting Shikamaru's shoulder " I should go distract her." Naruto then walked off with a smile heading to his girlfriend.
* Ten Minutes Later *
Naruto was talking to Hinata with a smile on his face when he heard " Ok listen up brats." Naruot turned to see a man in a gray outfit and a black trench coat. This man also had a bandana on his head covering all of it with the Konoha symbol on it. Naruto's eyes widened seeing the face then said " No." Naruto saw Hinata look at him so he said " His name is Ibiki and he's the head of the Torture and Interrogation division of the Anbu Black Ops. I've met him a few times as Anko works with him." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he said " He's torchers people with the mind making mind games. He knows more about the mind than a Yamanaka, so be careful and really think about anything." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " Ok." Naruto then looked at Shikamaru seeing him nod so he looked at Ibiki. Naruto saw Ibiki look around then heard " You are to grab a number out of the bucket then go sit at it. The rest of the rules will be given once everyone is seated." Naruto nodded then walked up to the bucket and grabbed a piece of paper. Naruto walked into the seating area and opened the paper to read: 36. Naruto went to the seat and sat down.
After Five minutes and everyone sitting down, Naruto saw Ibiki standing in front of everyone and then heard " You will be handed a test with ten questions. You will do the first nine and when there is fifteen minutes left I'll give out the tenth question. You start with ten points if you're caught by one of my sentinels of cheating you lose two points and after five times you're out. Also if one of your teammates is out your whole team is out." Naruto just nodded then looked at the sentinels seeing five but one stood out and after a few seconds he recognized Haku. Naruto just smiled at him then he turned back as the test was given to him. Naruto read the first question then mumbled " A genin wouldn't know this." After reading through the question Naruto found himself dumb founded.
Naruto just looked at the question for no joke for ten minutes not knowing what to do or answer when he felt his body stop moving. Naruto instantly made himself look comfortable. Naruto looked at his paper as his hand moved with the pencil and after seeing it done moving he read: The point of the test is to cheat. The tenth question will most likely be him messing with people but the point is to stay. You don't need to do anything and Hinata already knows. Naruto nodded, then he flipped his pencil as he got back into control and erased everything. Naruto just smirked and started drawing.
When Naruto ended his drawing he saw needles fly past him to hit the paper of the person next to him and heard " Team 15 you're out." Naruto sighed when he then saw two kunai hit two different people's papers and then heard the two teams leave. Naruto sighed as he leaned back then he spent an hour watching teams after teams were kicked out. After forty-five minutes Naruto listened to Ibiki go about the tenth question and mess with people but by the end Shikamaru was right and the point was to stay.
Naruto sighed as he saw Ibiki put his bandana back on when he heard crashing and smoke appear which made him know who it was and after seeing the smoke disappear he saw Anko and a banner above her which read: Anko Mitarashi the sexiest Ninja in the world. Naruto chuckled when he heard " Yea you are?" Naruto chuckled and then heard " Ok Meet me at training ground forty-four." Naruto saw Anko disappear so he sighed then he walked over to his teammates. Naruto saw Hinata and Shikamaru smiling so he then said " Thanks Shikamaru." Naruto saw his friend nod then heard " I did also help Choji." Naruto chuckled but nodded and said " Good." Naruto then walked off with his friends to training ground forty-four.
Naruto arrived at the training ground ten minutes later, seeing a fence off trees. Naruto stood in front of Anko with a lot of students then heard " Welcome to training ground forty-four or the forest of death." Naruto saw Anko hold out two scrolls and heard " You'll get one of two scrolls you are to get the other scroll and go to the tower. The tower will be open. Anything is allowed, even killing. Which is why you have to sign this waver which says Konoha isn't at fault for your death." Naruto nodded when he heard " What." Naruto looked at Sakura then just sighed when he sensed killing intent so he looked at Gaara. Naruto saw Gaara smirking and his teammates were nervous so he put a hand on Hinata's shoulder and said " Give me a minute."
Naruto walked over to Gaara with a smile and he walked up seeing the smirk disappear so he said " I thought to tell you good luck. Naruto just smirked and then he whispered " Kill people in the forest but if you go into the tower and you kill someone I'll use the jutsu I don't care who you are." Naruto smiled then said " Good luck." Naruto saw Gaara nod so he walked back to his team then signed the papers.
Naruto gave the paper to Shikamaru as when to go get the scroll. After looking around, seeing no one and then being behind a huge boulder, no one saw him or Hinata. Naruto smiled then he walked closer and leaned in then he closed his eyes letting his lips touch Hinata's. After a few seconds he pulled back then said " That felt nice." Naruto saw Hinata blush then heard " Do you think we should tell Kurenai now?" Naruto nodded and said " Sure but at the end of the exams." Naruto saw Hinata nod with a smile so he smiled when he heard " Come on." Naruto turned towards Shikamaru so he said " How long have you been standing there?" Naruto saw Shikamaru shrug and heard " I just walked up." Naruto nodded and said, " Let's go." Naruto and his team walked to a gate they were assigned.
Naruto sighed when he said " Shikamaru you have a plan. Naruto saw Shikamaru smirk and nod then heard " Simple we go for a Konoha ninja no offense but if you channel the Kyuubi's power you'll scare the shit out of them and they will just give the scroll." Naruto chuckled but nodded and said " Back-up." Naruto saw Shikamaru nod then heard " Fine then I'll think." Naruto sighed as Shikamaru closed his eyes so he waited. After a few minutes he saw Shikamaru open them and heard " Naruto we send your clones out for recon all around us and if they find a group dispel so we know. But also they can follow them and after finding targets we wait until dark to strike. We will then head to the tower by the next morning." Naruto nodded when he felt his head hurting which was a sign of the Kyuubi wanting his attention so he said " Give me a second the fox wants to talk."
Naruto channeled Kyuubi's chakra, his eyes changing, then he thought ' What?' Naruto didn't get an answer and then heard " A ninja I don't know who beside Gaara had huge amounts of Chakra more than the Hokage. They aren't demon holders so most likely a Jonin." Naruto nodded and then thought ' Anything else?' Naruto heard a chuckle then heard " No." Naruto nodded then stopped channeling the chakra and then told his team what the Kyuubi told him. He also had a clone go tell the Hokage.
