Holy crap, it sure has been awihile also this is my first time talking to you guys, so hello! Sorry for the long wait, but I hope it was worth it!

DECEMBER 10, 2003

"Good Morning Everybody! Rick Langtry here with a new episode of the Langtry show! Here to bring you up to date with happenings of New York City! Yesterday, an explosion rocked the upper west side! Police and Firefighters were immediately on the scene."

"After some investigation, it looked like a scuffle happened there. Also, some reports say that they saw the new vigilante battling another unknown individual. Well, what do you guys think? Do you think they were working together to commit some explosive vandalism or the new guy tried to stop this other person from causing more chaos? Let me hear your thoughts in the mail!"

A large pale man stood behind a large window observing the city in front of him. He then picked up the wine glass and started twirling it around.

"New York, the big apple, a place of many opportunities which will one day be mine." He said to himself, his face then turned into a scowl as his thought shifted to Peter. He took a sip out of the glass.

"But with most grand plans, obstacles must be thrown my way." He then placed the wine back on his desk, he picked up the phone near it and dialed a number. He then placed it onto his ear and began to speak.

"Gargan, get up here." He said to it. A few minutes later, a hispanic man adorned in a suit and tie with his hair cut into a fade entered.

"You called Boss?" Gargan asked.

"I have new orders, leave this vigilante alone for now. If we go after him again the people will start to become suspicious." Tombstone explained.

"So then what should we do?" Mac asked.

"Observe him, learn his strengths and weaknesses, and when we do. We can exploit them to the best of our abilities." Tombstone declared.

"Achoo!" Peter sneezed.

"Bless you." Mary-Jane said.

"Thanks. Harry, are you sure I can't get an internship at the company or something?" Peter begged.

"Sorry, can't help you bro. My dad already said no." Harry expressed. Peter sighed in defeat, Mary-Jane patted the boy on his back.

"Don't be sad Tiger! I'm sure you'll think of something, hopefully…" Mary-Jane shrugged. Peter sighed, the boy had been looking for a job to help with May's bills and for him to have some extra cash on hand, but he sadly had little luck.

"Aw shucks, I gotta blast. Rehearsals are starting." Mary-Jane expressed as she looked at the time. She got up and started to make her way to the auditorium, she waved goodbye before she left however and the two boy's reciprocated.

"Well, I gotta go too. My butler's here." Harry adds as he pointed towards the limousine at the front gate.

"Alright then, See ya later." Peter said, and now he was all alone contemplating about how he was gonna fix this problem. Suddenly, as if the universe heard his thoughts, a poster practically flew into his hands.

"The hell?" Peter said to himself, He lifted it up and read it. His eyes widened.

"Holy shit. Bless Parker luck I guess." Peter stated. He rolled the poster into a cone and placed it into his bag and rushed home.

A short while later, Peter opened the front door to his house and sped past aunt May, but he poked his head out a few moments later.

"Evening May!" Peter greeted before he ran into his room. May chuckled.

"Teenagers." She joked.

Peter walked into May's room and took out a classic camera.

"Daily Bugle here I come." Peter stated.

A tall man sat in his basement. His long shaggy blonde hair swayed by the air blowing from his fan. He sat on his rollie chair and looked to be building something on his workbench, the welding helmet adorned on ⁶his face was only illuminated by the welding torch and hammer as he slammed in the last piece of the device.

He lifted the machine, or should I say weapon into the air and examined it he smirked, but that smirk contorted into a scowl as he remembered what made him determined to finish the device

"I'll show you Osborn, the sonic pulse generator ain't a failure, I ,Clayton Cole am not a failure! I'll show all of you." Clayton hissed.

DECEMBER 11, 2003

Peter sat on top of a roof top examining the photos he took, they were good but there was something missing…

"These look kinda bland." Peter said to himself, he sighed.

"How the hell can I make these look more exciting?" Peter questioned as he scratched his chin.

His answer came as soon as he asked. Peter started smelling smoke, he looked around confused.

"Where the hell is that coming from?" He asked as he followed the scent. Peter leapt off the building and made his way to the source.

What greeted his vision made his eyes widen. Oscorp was on fire, Peter then proceeded to swing the fastest he ever had.

Meanwhile, Norman laid on the ground in severe pain. His arm and leg were broken and his head was bleeding profusely. He looked up to the assailant with a scowl. The attacker in question wore a white mask with rings that spread out from the center forming a soundwave themed pattern, his body was covered in a skin tight bodysuit that was colored black from his neck to the end of his shoulders and pecs with the rest of it being white.

"Tch! What the hell is wrong with you! Do you want to get everyone in this building killed!" Norman yelled.

"No one else gets hurt if you accept your fate, Osborn." The masked man hissed.

"So why don't you do it then Clayton? Too scared? Or are you too weak to finish the job?" Norman insulted, Clayton's face then contorted into fury. He raised both hands into the air revealing yellow disks attached to the gloves, they charged up turning them into a bright blue.

"I ain't Clayton Cole anymore, the name Clash will be the last thing you fucking see!" Clash roared, as he fired his blast. But before it came, a sneaker collided with Clash's face sending him flying, the soundwave in his hand smashed into the ceiling causing it to collapse.

Peter ran and grabbed Norman leaped out the window. Peter flew through the air and shot out a webline slowing his fall, he then landed in front of an ambulance. The paramedic and police officer nearly jumped into the air.

"It's you!" The officer shouted as he raised his gun at the masked hero.

"Whoa! Whoa! Lower the gun! Mr Osborn is injured! Please take him off my hands before you shoot." Peter stated.

"How do I know that it wasn't you who caused this?" The officer questioned, still keeping his aim. Peter was starting to get annoyed.

"Officer, lower your weapon, he's not a threat." a familiar voice said. Both Peter and the officer turned to see Yuri standing before them.

"Captain Watanabe! But…" The officer interjected but he was interrupted.

"He may be doing illegal vigilante work, but he saved someone's life. Take Norman off his hands." She ordered. The officer sighed and put his gun away, the paramedic took out a stretcher and placed Norman on it. Yuri turned her attention to Peter.

"For now, we have a truce. We'll work together to take out the maniac in the building, you fight him directly and we'll work to protect civilians. Do you understand?" Yuri explained. Peter nodded in understanding and web zipped his way towards where he left Clash.

"Alright! Officers, we give him some support and rescue civilians trapped in rubble! Move, move!" She ordered, with other officers soon following.

Meanwhile, inside Oscorp a soundwave erupted from the rubble with Clash emerging from the hole he made. He looked around trying to find Norman, only to find him gone. He slammed his fist into the ground.

"Dammit! What hit me!?" He shouted out.

"I did, ." Peter taunted. Clash looked up to see Peter hanging upside down from a web. Clash scowled at his opponent.

"Who the hell do you think you are huh?" He asked angrily.

"Well let's see about THAT!" Clash roared as he fired a blast but Peter dodged out of the way. He then ran up to Clash and closed his fist, Clash tried to block but he couldn't do it fast enough as Peter landed a vicious uppercut sending him flying into a wall.

Clash landed on a lower floor in the building. He lifted himself off the ground, the portion of his mask where mouth felt wet. He touched it, his eyes widened when he saw red on his fingers, he was bleeding. He looked at his adversary landing before him, restoring his fighting stance.

He then realized that this was a fight he couldn't win. He had to retreat for now, but he had to cause a distraction. Thinking fast he shot a blast at a support pillar sending the whole floor crashing down. Peter shot out a webline and hung from the ceiling, he then realized that Clash was gone.

"Hey!" Clash shouted, Peter looked at the man with the bloody mask. Clash pointed at him.

"I'll come back stronger, and when I do I'll kill both you and Norman." He spat as he made his escape. Peter then tried to shoot a webline to attach himself to the villain but was stopped when he heard a cry for help.

He then looked down to see Liz pinned under rubble with some debris about to crush her skull.

"No!" He shrieked, he looked over to Clash who was escaping, but he couldn't focus on him. He had to save Liz or else she would die!

He let go of his webline before going into a head first dive, he shot out multiple web balls which splashed against the rocks above stopping them in place. He landed next to the girl and lifted the rubble off of her, he then grabbed her and started to carry her bridal style outside. The girl looked at him with amazement.

"Y-you're that Spider guy!" She exclaimed excitedly. Peter smiled under his mask.

"That's me. The one and only." He expressed. He then carried her outside, in the building parking lot, there were a whole lot of injured people. Peter then placed Liz on a stretcher as he was about to leave Liz grabbed his hand.

"Thank you for saving me. My mom and dad would've been devastated if I just ended up dead by some crappy debris, it sucks that I'll have to cancel my date though." She lamented. Peter's face formed into a frown under the mask, makes sense though, looks like the rubble sprained her ankle.

"I'm sure he'll understand." Peter reassured. She smiled at his reassuring words.

"I'm sure he will, but thanks anyway." Liz said, the paramedic then brought the girl inside the ambulance.

Peter was about to leave but he was stopped by Yuri.

"Hey you, nice work on saving that girl, but did you catch the criminal?" She asked.

"No, he caused the whole floor to crumble to cause a distraction to get away." He explained. Yuri absorbed the information and sighed in disappointment.

"That's alright, you did good work today. But after this incident, The police will be given orders to arrest you, so I suggest that you get out of here." Yuri warned. Peter nodded, he then web swung away and landed at the ceiling of the top floor in the oscorp building, he then grabbed his camera and left the scene.

A few hours later, Peter stood outside the Daily Bugle with his photos in hand, he took a deep breath and made his way inside. The environment inside was a one to one creation of a workplace in TV shows, journalists were running around looking for leads, editors were working on placing the finishing touches in the stories, and publishers working hard to put them out.

He made his way through the busy room careful not to step on someone's shoes or bump into them, he finally made it to the receptionist.

"Um, hello Ma'am. Where can I find Jameson?" He asked. The tired receptionist looked up at the boy in front of her in confusion.

"What for? Aren't you a little too young to submit photos?" She asked.

"Uh, well it doesn't hurt to try does it?" He responded whilst shrugging his shoulders. The girl laughed.

"Top floor." She answered.

"Will do, thanks!" Peter thanked, he then made his way to the elevator and entered inside.

Once Peter got to the top floor he looked out for Jameson's office, he wandered the floor a bit until he saw a woman sitting next to an office labeled "Jonah".The girl in question had brown long fluffy hair and hazel eyes that were focused on the computer she was working on. He walked up to her and rang the bell.

"Oh, hi there. What do you need?" She asked.

"Hello, is here? I want to submit these photos." Peter explained as he showed the pictures to her. The girl's eyes widened.

"Woah, these look pretty good." She complimented.

"Thanks." Peter responded.

"He's in there, but let me tell you something, my boss is a little passionate about his work, so try to get on his good side." She whispered.

"Alright, I'll take it to heart." Peter replied, he then opened the door and entered. Inside, the office was quite nice and looked cozy with a couch and coffee table in the middle, at the top of the room was a roller chair and work desk in the middle.

"Um, is anyone here?" Peter asked, he received his answer when the roller chair turned to face him. A relatively old man sat in front of him, a cigar sat in his mouth and his gray eyes pierced the young boy's soul.

"The hell? Why would Betty send a kid in here?" The man said to himself. Peter gulped.

"Are you Mr. Jameson?" Peter questioned nervously.

"Who else would I be? Now answer my question, what do you want?" Jonah asked.

"Um, do you think you could give me a photography job?" Peter asked. Jonah looked at him with confusion.

"Ain;t you a little too young for that?" Jonah asked.

"Well that is true, but could you atleast give me a chance?" Peter questioned as he placed the photos down, Jonah looked at the pictures in front of him and started examining them.

"Did you take these?" Jonah asked the teenager. Peter nodded indicating a yes.

"Hmm. These pictures are terrible." Jonah expressed, Peter's face immediately became dejected, he sighed, "Worth a shot." he thought to himself solemnly.

"You're hired." Jonah declared.

"Wait what, WHAT!" Peter practically yelled in his brain.

"Starting today, you're hired. You are gonna get me pictures of that menace!" Jonah exclaimed, Peter while ecstatic he got the job looked at the man with inquisitive eyes.

"What do you mean by menace?" Peter asked.

"This new vigilante is a menace, isn't it obvious?" Jonah responded.

"But he isn't a menace." Peter retorted.

"And what makes you think that?!" Jonah orated.

"He saves people, he helps the cops by catching criminals." Peter expressed.

"HELPS THEM!? Kids these days must have a few screws loose. He's a menace and a threat, A MENACING THREAT!" Jonah exclaimed.

"But, isn't that slander?" Peter questioned.

"I resent that, slander is spoken, on print it's libel." Jonah stated, Peter rolled his eyes. Peter was about to say something but he was interrupted by Jonah.

"Ah ah ah, one more outta you and I'll lower your pay." Jonah threatened, Peter's mouth quickly shut.

"Now go give this check to my secretary in front of my office and she'll do the rest, HURRY UP AND GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" Jonah bellowed. Peter scowled at the man and turned to leave, as he exited the office he looked down at the check, his eyes widened.

"Holy shit, five hundred dollars! Maybe this guy ain't so bad after all." Peter thought to himself.

"Hey, Peter right? How did it go?" Betty asked.

"Pretty well, he said I should give this to you." Peter said as he gave her the check.

"Woah, this is a lot, nice going Pete." Betty expressed. Peter chuckled and looked a the name on her desk

"Thanks, guess I'll see you around Ms Brant." Peter remarked, Betty smiled.

"Same I can say about you." She replied, Peter grinned and entered the elevator.

Clayton stood in front of his mirror, his blood still leaking from his nose. He scowled at it and slammed his hand into the sink.

"That damn kid! If he didn't interfere I would've gotten my revenge!" Clayton shouted. He then went out to his living room, sat on his couch and turned on his television.

"Just this morning a super villain attacked Oscorp, he had come to kill the C.E.O Norman Osborn, luckily the aforementioned survived thanks to the new vigilante." The news anchor voiced. Clayton grew angrier, he then put on his sonic disks and blasted the TV to kingdom come.

"Why, WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS ON HIS SIDE, HE'S A LIAR, A CHEAT, A FUCKING THEIF! He stole everything from me and now…" he drew off as he thought about Harry.

"And now, I'll take everything from him." He hissed.

DECEMBER 12, 2003

Next week Friday was the last day of school, so by all means he should be happy, well he wasn't. As it turns out, Jonah had went through with his claims and printed a paper called:

NEW VIGILANTE!

THREAT OR MENACE?

And every single thing in it was a damn lie, what's worse is that pretty much everyone believes it and what was even worse was that they used his photos. But that wasn't the least of his problems, his fate was canceled and worst of all his best friend's father in the hospital in a deep coma.

It was lunch time now and he already wanted the day to end.

"At least it was Friday." He said out loud.

"Hey Pete." Harry greeted sounding way sadder than normal.

"Hey Har, how's your old man?" Peter asked, Harry sighed.

"He still hasn't woken up but he's stable for now. Head injury he got was pretty bad." Harry added.

"I'm sure he'll be okay Ginger brains." MJ stated, startling both boys.

"Jesus christ! You're a redhead, how are you so damn sneaky?" Peter retorted.

"You shouldn't be worrying about that tiger." MJ replied.

"Alright enough about my dad, Did you get the job you were looking for?" Harry asked.

"Yeah I did but there's one small problem, have any of you seen the new paper published?" Peter questioned his two friends.

"Nope/Nada" Harry and MJ responded, Peter sighed.

"My boss has a hate boner for me… well me as a vigilante, and the bugle just published a paper calling me a menace to society because of him and they also used my photos. Now when I swing around people think I'm a criminal here to steal my money." Peter ranted.

"It's actually kinda sad how unlucky you are dude." MJ lamented.

"Well even so, you can still help people." Harry reminded.

"Yeah that is true, but the people I wanna protect being scared of me, doesn't feel right." Peter stated. Both MJ and Harry looked at their friend somberly, that was also when the redhead got an idea.

"Hey, Pete. What if they don't trust you because of your appearance." MJ suggested, Peter and Harry looked at her in confusion.

"Are you saying I'm ugly?" Peter questioned.

"No dummy, you're not ugly but your suit is." MJ, as soon as she said those words it clicked in Harry's brain.

"OH! What you're saying is that Peter should have a more friendlier costume?" Harry noted.

"Exactly! You need a makeover!" She shouted a bit too loudly causing everyone in the cafeteria to stare at her.

"Sorry." She mouthed.

"Well it's a good idea, but where am I gonna get the materials and time to do that?" Peter asked. Both MJ and Harry looked at each other and smirked.

"Give us four days tiger and we'll whip something up for you, and you can just save the day like you always do." She assured him with a bright smile. The bell then rang indicating the end of lunch time.

The school day was over, MJ and Harry had gone to Oscorp to help give him a makeover or whatever that means. He sighed and made his way towards the Midtown high gate.

"Peter, hold up!" A familiar voice, Peter stopped and turned around to see Liz running towards him.

"Hey Liz." Peter greeted, the girl stopped in front of him.

"Hey, I have something to tell you. I have to cancel our date." She stated. Peter already knew this information though, he sighed.

"That's fine. But can I know why?" Peter asked.

"I'm grounded, so I can't really do anything pertaining to the outside world." Liz explained.

"Makes sense." Peter expressed.

"But I wanna still make this work. So can we do it next week when I'm ungrounded?" Liz questioned, Peter smirked a little.

"Yeah, I'd like that." Peter stated.

It had been a few hours since the school day had ended. MJ and Harry were both in an Oscorp Lab working on what seems to be a suit.

"So is this everything you need?" Harry asked. The girl nodded, Harry then looked over to the drawing she made. "Looks pretty cool. No wonder she's the major costume designer in the play next week." He thought to himself.

"Hey Harry, can you cut this?" MJ asked as she handed him some scissors and blue fabric. He took them from her hands and began his task. He then looked over to the girl, she looked focused but troubled at the same time.

"Hey Red, something bothering you?" Harry questioned her, MJ's eyes widened a bit.

"Um, no I wouldn't say that." She assures. Harry deadpanned.

"Are you sure? You don't usually look this sad." He expresses. The girl sighs.

"I told you Harry I'm fine." She states. He didn't believe her for one second.

"Is it about Peter?" He questioned, that seemed to have gotten to her.

"Damn, what made ya guess?" She asked.

"Just a hunch." Harry responded, she chuckled.

"I've just been worried about him I guess." She explains.

"You're worried about the dude who has super powers?" Harry questioned.

"Okay but that doesn't make him invincible dumbass." MJ retorted.

"What? Do you think he's gonna get killed? Peter's not gonna let some phony supervillain get the jump on him." Harry stated.

"But it did almost happen! If it wasn't for Joey, Peter wouldn't be here with us right now." MJ voiced.

"But he's here now. When did you become so protective over him?" Harry interrogated, MJ then covered her face releasing a groan reeked of annoyance. Harry noticed how red her ears became.

"Ever since I came back, I've been having these feelings. They were small at first, like when I saw him again on the bus my heart skipped a beat a little. But then after he got his powers, it's like my brain went into fucking overdrive. I think about him constantly, his warm smile, his beautiful blue eyes, it's on my mind 24/7. I like him alot, hell love even, but I know that nothing's gonna happen between us. He likes Liz, and if I did say something, I might lose one of my closest friends." She finished ranting. Harry's eyes were wide open at this point.

"Wow. Just wow. I don't even know how to respond to that." Harry orated.

"Didn't expect you to Ginger brains. I shouldn't even be helping him with this, I should tell him to stop what he's doing and go to therapy or something. But he wants to use his gifts to help those in need, and that's exactly who the dork I fell for is." She explained whilst giving her friend a tearful smile. Harry smiled back.

"That nerd sure is the coolest." Harry declared in agreement.

Peter perched himself on a rooftop, overlooking the bustling city below him. Even though the night was peaceful, there were troubles affecting it. He sat on the rooftop and pondered the question.

Who the hell is tombstone?

A question that has been bothering him in the week he found out about him. A man who has killed a friend of his and has probably hurt more innocent people.

"Days of searching and I have nothing to show for it." He stated, a sigh came from his mouth. His head then started to tingle, his eyes shot open looking for the danger.

He then looked down and saw a truck and some strangely suspicious men. He started to climb closer to the men on the building walls but not close enough for them to see him. Once he was close enough, he began to listen.

"What the hell are in these boxes we transporting?" One of the men asked.

"Drugs, weapons and all other kinds of illegal shit. Boss wants us to carry this to the docks to sell this to some dealers in New Jersey." Another answered.

"So they are criminals, but another thing I should be asking is, who the hell is boss? Could it be Tombstone or another person who participates in organized crime?" Peter wondered. But those were questions for later, he had to follow them as it had the slight chance to give him clues about Tombstone's whereabouts.

The men had finished loading the trucks and had begun to drive off, Peter started to web swing closely behind them. They drove for a long time but they had reached their destination which seemed to be an "abandoned" ship dock. Peter perched on a rooftop nearby and observed them.

The group of three men exited the truck and unpacked their illegal goods, they started to wait. A few more minutes passed and a small ferry parked at the dock with two men exiting from it. They approached the group of three and handed them some cash. They started speaking so Peter began to listen to them.

"Thanks for the shipment, tell Lonnie I sent my regards." The dealer said, Peter's eyes widened.

"Lonnie? Is that his name?" Peter whispered to himself. He needed to get more info.

"Oi! Don't say his real name out in the open like that. It's Tombstone, got it!?" The thug shouted. Under his dust mask Peter smirked a little, so his assumption was correct. Now he needed to stop these guys.

He leapt into the air and landed in front of the group.

"Why hello there, gentle and fellowmen. This sure is a great time for a superheroic asskicking." Peter quipped.

"It's the freak!" One of the men shouted as they all pulled out their guns.

"Now that's a little mea-" Peter was interrupted by a bullet whizzing past his face. He scowled at the man.

"Now that wasn't very nice at all!" Peter exclaimed as he blitzed the man and punched him into the ground, the other men started firing. Peter dodged all the bullets, he then webbed one of their guns and pulled it towards him.

Pulling the gun caused the man to fly towards the boy, he then proceeded to chlothesline the man knocking him out.

"Two down, three more to go." Peter expressed as he slammed his fists together. The dealer's eyes widened in fear; he then turned around and began to bolt in the opposite direction. The other two men started firing at Peter, he then jumped into the air webbing both their heads and slamming them together.

After dealing with them, Peter sprinted towards the dealer, easily catching up. He then tackled him to the ground and pinned.

"Alright bud, since you seem to know a lot tell me, who the hell is Lonnie?" Peter interrogated as he raised his fist in the air threatening to punch.

"L-Lonnie is a name Tombstone goes by! I heard that he could be the C.E.O of TRICORP but I have nothing concrete! Please don't kill me!" The man blabbed.

"Huh, that was easier than I thought. Thanks for the info bud, have a nice nap." Peter quipped as he flicked the man's forehead knocking him out. He then looked at the scene before him and winced.

"Ouch, guess I went a bit overboard. I'm sure you all will be fine tomorrow, or whenever you wake up. Especially the guy whose head is stuck in cracked pavement." He commented. He then called the cops and left the scene.

Peter sat on a rooftop, "C.E.O of Tricorp huh? Looks like their suspect number one." Peter declared.

DECEMBER 16, 2003

Peter stared at the costume before him, he was enamored with it. The suit was primarily red and blue, web like patterns covered the red parts, on the middle of the chest of the suit was a black spider emblem about the size of a palm and on the back a larger fat red one contrasted the blue. On the mask were two big white bug eyed lenses outlined with black rims.

"This is so cool!" Peter exclaimed. He ran towards his friends and pulled them in a tight hug.

"Thank you! You guys are the best." Peter expressed.

"Y-you're hugging us real tight there huh P-Pete?" Harry breathed. Peter let them go and scratched his head sheepishly.

"Sorry." He apologized.

"Anyway, so Tiger, are you gonna try it on?" MJ asked, Peter then picked up the costume and dashed into the closet in the lab.

A few minutes later, Peter exited the closet. The suit fit perfectly and under the mask he smiled.

"You know, even though I had all these cool powers that helped people I still didn't think of myself as a superhero like Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and especially Captain America." Peter expressed as he started to tear up.

"But now, wearing this costume, I think it changes things." Peter stated.

"Well, what's a superhero without a catchy name? So have you thought of one yet?" Harry questioned.

"Nope, I don't even have a clue what to call myself." Peter replied. Both MJ and Harry deadpanned.

"You gave us that really nice quote about being a superhero and you don't even have a name?" MJ asked dryly.

"I am terrible at naming things. Do you want me to be known as Spider-Man?" Peter questioned.

"Better than nothin." Harry stated.

"And it's not even that bad." MJ added. Peter rolled his eyes, but then his head started to tingle. His eyes darted to the window, they widened as a sonic wave was coming for Harry and MJ. Peter dashed towards and tackled the two causing the wave to miss all three of them.

Peter mask lenses squinted in anger. He looked up and saw the culprit.

"Clash." Peter hissed. Clash was floating in the air using his sonic waves, he stared at Peter with a scowl.

"Damn kid! What the hell are you doing here!" He shouted.

"You have a lot of guts to show yourself again dude! I kicked your ass last time, remember!" Peter roared.

"I ain't here for you! Give me the Osborn brat and I'll let you and the redhead live." He demanded. Peter looked down at his friends.

"When I say go, you both should get up and run, got it." Peter explained, the two nodded in response. The masked hero then looked up at his opponent.

"We'll see about that! You two, GO!" He shouted as he charged at Clash, MJ got up and grabbed Harry's hand and began to bolt in the opposite direction of the battle. Clash tried to fire at the two escaping teens but Peter tackled him causing them both to dive towards the ground. Peter began to repeatedly punch the man in the face, but they weren't doing any damage, Clash retaliated with a sonic powered punch to the boy's skull.

This sent Peter cratering towards the ground with Clash soon following. In the crater Peter was the first one to get up with Clash close behind him, Peter tried to web him up but he then realized that his web shooters were jammed, this distracted him long enough for a colossal punch to collide with his face sending him flying.

Peter slammed into a car causing it to explode on impact, Peter got to his feet. He looked at himself to see that the costume was barely damaged.

"Holy crap. What is this thing made of?" He asked himself, Clash slowly limped towards webslinger and Peter slowly stumbled his way towards Clash.

"While the suit is durable, I'll still have to be careful and not take hits. Cuz I'm pretty sure taking those two headshots did a number on my brain." Peter breathed as he held his head in pain.

"Why?" Clash questioned.

"Why what Boomstick? Why are you such a giant loser? Cuz that's pretty easy to answer.

Why do you defend Osborn and his lineage?!" He roared. Peter looked at the man confused.

"Isn't it obvious? It's because they're innocent!" Peter replied.

"Innocent? Norman Osborn is anything but innocent!"

"And what makes you think that?"

"Because Norman is a thief! He stole my research!" Clash yelled. Peter's eyes widened.

"What are you on about? Mr. Osborn would never do that." Peter argued back. Clash started to get furious.

"GOD DAMMIT! STOP BELIEVING HIS LIES! LOOK AT MY HANDS, DO THESE DISKS LOOK FAMILIAR?!" He screamed as he showed his hands. Peter looked at them, they did look familiar, in fact remembers them!

"Aren't those disks being in the sonic pulse cannon?" Peter asked.

"EXACTLY! THEY WERE MINE AT FIRST! I SHOWED THEM TO HIM, AND DO YOU WANT TO GUESS HE TOLD ME? THAT THEY WERE PATHETIC AND USELESS, GUESS HE DIDN'T AGREE WITH HIS OWN WORDS AS HE USED THEM IMMEDIATELY AFTER I LEFT, BRANDING IT AS HIS OWN!" Clash shrieked. That's when Peter remembered, a guy tried to sue Oscorp and his name was Clayton Cole.

"Clayton? Is that you?" Peter asked, Clash began to calm down.

"Yes! Please tell me you believe me!" He begged the boy. There was no denying that Clayton's research was indeed stolen.

"I believe you, but hurting his son won't change things." Peter stated, the man slumped to his knees and removed his mask revealing his tearful face.

"I know, I'll turn myself in. T-thank you." Clayton thanked. Peter then webbed him up and brought him to the cops. As soon as they saw him they raised their weapons at him, with captain Watanabe right behind them.

"Thanks for the help, but we're gonna have to arrest you too." She stated. Peter chuckled.

"I'm well aware, but that's not gonna happen." Peter expressed.

"What makes you so sure?" Yuri questioned.

"I'm gonna help people in whatever way I can, whether you guys are attacking me or not." Peter voiced, he then turned to a reporter and cameraman.

"Name's Spider-Man, and I promise that I'm gonna do all I can to keep the neighborhood safe." Spider-Man declared as he leapt into the air and swung away. MJ and Harry stared at their friend as he left.

"Guess he went with the name." Harry mentions.

"I guess he did." MJ said.

Spider-Man climbed into his bedroom window, and laid to rest on his bed. He stared at the ceiling for god knows how long, he started grinning.

"I bet Ben would be smiling at me from the heavens right now." He told himself, and in the afterlife, Ben was doing just that.
