After the visit with the local healer, Miss Sheen tells Sans the bad news the Diagnostics of his little brother's injury was severe, and Papyrus lost all of his memories and there is not a chance for him to ever retrieving those memories back. This devastated Sans knowing that his little brother lost all his memories because of the person that he thought was his friend, but no more he's no longer to be that gullible and innocent little skeleton that everyone thought he is. Sans going to be more serious and take care of his little brother Papyrus needed him and he'll do whatever it takes to keep his brother safe. As for Papyrus or should I say Y/n, was sitting on the couch thinking about what to do now?

'What shall I do now? Even though I want some information about this world I don't know where I am? Am I in underswap or horror-tale I wish there is a way to know what I can find out? Ah, if this was a game then there should be an "Appraisal" skill for me to gather information.'

Suddenly, I heard a voice in my head that sounds like a machine. Then out of nowhere a screen popped up with different types of abilities flashed in front of my eyes. I looked around to see if Sans noticed anything but he doesn't seem to notice the screen that appeared in front of me. 'Let's see there it is, "Appraisal" skill! alright, I'm fired up! My answer is a YES!

Even though I used all my skill points, such points would surely increase by the time I level up so there's no need to worry about that. I should check out my new skills lets start with appraisal skills by examining various things but how to use them? Well, let's see, I should try focusing on the wall while I chanted "appraisal" in my mind.

huh, that was weird it seems I could Appraisal myself but other objects with Appraisal will not work. My Appraisal skill is in LV1, purposely I need to attach an LV, I should put more thought into this. In other words, the skill will not have much effect in LV1. Even though I want to raise the LV, I do not have any skill points left to be used. Agh, I wasted all my skill points! welp, no crying over spilled milk now let us try my other skill out Isekai, I should try this one outside, so I will not do any damage to the house.

"Sans, I'm going outside for a bit." this startled Sans from his train of thought he comes running out of the kitchen and make his way toward me and stammered out "o-outside are you sure Papy." I noticed how scared he looked, and I reassured him that I was just going to be in the backyard. "Don't worry sans I'll be in the backyard, and you could see me from the window in the kitchen, so you don't need to worry about me okay." Sans was reluctant to let me leave his side I know he is concerned about my well-being because of my injury, I knew a way to break Sans's resolve, I gave him the sad puppy dog eyes making me look more adorable. I knew Sans's resolve wouldn't last long and I was right he didn't last very long because he's giving me a bone-crushing hug as we speak and told me he'll keep an eye socket on me through the window. I nodded to his condition and walked outside the door I noticed the backyard is full of snow, but the trees are baron, and they look dead.

I crouched down on my knees scooping some snow out of the way to see if there is any grass, once I moved maybe five layers of snow, I found some grass but just as I suspected it was dead and shriveled, I dropped my head/skull on the snow thinking of a solution how to get through this famine and it just hit me I have the unique skill Isekai. The power of anime and movies how could I forget about that skill, that is the reason that I came out here to try it out. I carefully sat up straight not to jostle myself too much in the Lotus position, thinking of using my unique skill Isekai. I thought about what type of anime or a movie to use then it hit me Fullmetal Alchemist has transmutation grass into bread. However, should I draw the transmutation circle or see if I could clap my hands and do it as Edward Elric does, but don't I have to commit the taboo known as human transmutation to see the truth? I question myself just to play it safe, I am going to draw the transmutation circle.

Grabbing a handful of dead grass and using one of my phalanges to draw a transmutation circle from memory. Once I finish drawing the transmutation circle, I place the grass in the middle of the transmutation circle. Putting both my hands on the last line of the transmutation circle I gathered my center of attention on what I wanted the grass to turn into bread. And just like that, I saw the grass was transmuted into bread, and I was happy it was a success on my first try using my unique skill Isekai. It seems I was lost in my, an accomplishment I did not notice that Sans saw the chemical lighting and he came running outside and tackled me to the ground thinking it was an attack. Once we hit the snow-covered ground Sans used his body as a shield to cover me. I did not know what was happening until I registered what happens, "Sans, please calm down it wasn't an attack." I explained as I pointed to the loaf of bread that was sitting on the transmutation circle. Sans turned around and saw the bread and was shocked to see it there? He carefully got off me and help me up.

"Papy what is going on?" Sans question me, but I did not want to tell him the full truth, so I told him a half-truth. I explained the transmutation circle and its theory and how I made the bread out of the grass. "This is amazing Pappy you found a way to make food now the underground won't starve I must spread the word throughout Snowden but first before I do that, I remembered that I interrupted you when you needed to take a bath or shower lets to head to the restroom." I deadpan I was hoping that Sans forgot that. This is going to be so awkward as I was being carried away by my brother to the restroom.

Once we entered the bathroom, Sans immediately stopped the bathtub and let the water fill the tub. I Am wincing a bit, trying to take off my clothes, I did not look at my skeletal body and carefully folded my clothes and placing them on the 'toilet' cover. I grabbed a towel from the small closet that was in the bathroom, almost grabbing a second before realizing that as a skeleton I did not have hair, making the second towel unneeded. I did not notice that Sans left the restroom and leaving a quarter full tub leaving me alone to undress and take a bath, I placed the towel on the sink, letting it hang there I gulped feeling disturbed about the water I took a deep breath and shook it off I need to get this done before Sans comes barging in again.

Small-time skip

Once I finish with my bath, I made it downstairs to see Sans and the whole residents of Snowdin in our living room. I facepalm knowing that Sans when and told everyone in Snowdin of my ability of alchemy. I let out a sigh of frustration there's nothing that could be done now I coughed and got everyone's attention, "all right everyone please listen I'm going to explain this only once so please ask questions until the end." Everyone agreed and state silent as I explain how I got these abilities due to the injury that Alphys gave me. In the process, I lost my memories of who I once was including my brother Sans everyone I knew.

Everyone was shocked and saddened after I told them this information, I even saw Sans flinch blaming himself for what happened to me, or should I say Papyrus I'm still confused about that part am I still myself, or am I Papyrus? did he die due to the injury? I will never know but I do believe he's still in there somewhere. "OK, people we found a way to provide food but not for all the underground I know this may be sound harsh and cruel. But I think we only should provide for the citizens of Snowden the other parts of the underground are loyal to Alphys and Undyne has hidden cameras everywhere. We must locate them within Snowden and destroy them, so Undyne couldn't use them to spy on us and inform Alphys that we have food." Some of the monsters were not too keen about leaving the rest of the underground to defend themselves.

But what choice do we have with little resources we have left, we have no room to spare soon it will be 'Eat or be eaten' here. The atmosphere became tense as no one wanted to speak up or even think about letting their fellow monsters starve, but one of them stood up and that was Muffet. "he's right we have no choice to let the other citizens of the underground starve, we must think about ourselves and our little town Snowden. We must build a barricade to keep other monsters out." What shocked me the most is that another monster, stood up and spoke up "Not just a barricade we must arm ourselves if the rest of the underground is going to starve who knows what's going to happen to them, we must protect ourselves and our families." And just like that, every monster within our house agreed to the plan we divided into search teams to find those hidden cameras and destroyed them. In a matter of no time, we found every camera and destroyed them, and it didn't take long for us to build a barricade since Snowden was deeply Within the Woods. We chop down some of the trees, and with the help of my new alchemy ability, all I had to do was draw a transmutation circle and place the logs in the center of the transmutation circle. I made sure that everyone stayed at a safe distance away from the transmutation circle, I'm not too interested in tampering with human transmutation, or should I say monster transmutation it is still taboo.

And I don't want to lose any body parts at this moment, just like I did before place my hands on the transmutation circle and watch as the transmutation happened, everyone was in awe as they saw the logs turn into wooden planks. Once complete everyone took planks and started to build the wall, it didn't take long for the wall to be completed and there were hidden entryways only a certain few monsters knew about it. Everything was set and everyone was armed and ready for when the shit hit the fan, but for now, we had to clear an area free from snow so I could transmute wasteful material back into the soil to give it nutrients so we could plant any type of seed they have laying around to grow food. I don't know when the human will fall into the underground? it could take weeks or take months we must be prepared for anything. I know for a fact there are some animals out in the woods, that we could have a hunting Party or set up traps to get the animals I do hope what I'm doing is enough to help everyone in Snowden for now I must go back to practicing my new abilities while Sans keeps an eye on me just in case something happens I don't want to injure myself again or get tackled to the ground by Sans.
