Finaly, the day arrived. Lilo woke up that same morning after the night the three Warners found out her secret and felt like this really was it. The day she was finaly going to talk. Like it was time. Still, despite all of her confidence, Lilo was shaking like a leaf. They still hadn't asked her anything, which meant they could today. And if that happened...
Lilo looked around the room, all three of them were already awake. The light from the outside was shining trough the window, making it maybe even too clear to see. She had always wondered what was behind that window. So she went to it and looked outside. And sure enough, there it was. The whole view of the movie lot. The blue sky with a few clouds on it made a perfect day for...
Wait, what? Lilo snapped out of her toughts, realising she got lost in staring at the view. She remembered what she had to do and slowly went to the door, feeling excited as never before. Ever since she came, she was being careful with everything. She opened the door and stepped into the hall. Everything was strangely quiet, like they were waiting to jump out and surprise her. That made Lilo even more excited. Negativly, of course. She felt like she had done something wrong.
She slowly went trough the hall and came to the living room. Looking around, she shivered. There she was, standing in front of the middle child, ready to finaly say something, ready to help. "Morning Lilo", he greeted her. She just stood there, looking at him with unsureness and some kind of fear. "Is everything ok?", he asked.
That was it. The moment had come. Lilo felt so proud she was finaly released from all that stress that didn't let her utter a single word in days. Her tears had dried long ago, still that stress kept her quiet all this time. And now, she finaly had a chance.
"Wakko...", she quietly spoke, and all of a sudden, something like an earthquake shoock inside of her. Something was falling apart, freeing her to talk. She broke it. She broke the barrier keeping her from talking. However...
Wakko gasped in shock. Has he heard it right?! Lilo could actually talk?! He ran and hugged her, smiling widely. "You did it...". "N-no...", was all Lilo could say before her head fell on his shoulder and blackness covered her eyes.
"What's going on?", his brother asked as him and Dot came. Dot gasped, "She...she passed out again!". Wakko just stared at them, confused and worried. "What should we do now?", he asked, "How are we going to take her to the psychiatry building?".
"And what do you think, how?", his brother asked as though it was no big deal. "Carry her?", asked Wakko, "That's difficult". "But we have no other choice", said Dot. Wakko sighed, "Alright". Alright? It was anything but that. He felt like Lilo was dead, which made him worried sick. Her skin was pale, almost their color. Her eyes were shut, it looked creepy.
Finaly, they came to the psychiatry building and knocked on the door of the emergency room. "Good morning-", the nurse greeted them, then gasped, "What happened to her?!". Wakko sighed heavily, "I don't know, she tried to talk and-". "Talk?!", the nurse stared at them, frowning. It wasn't the fact that Lilo tried to talk. It was the consenquence she was facing that was unfortunately possible.
"Alright", she said, "You need to take her to the hospital". "Why?!", all three of them whined. "Because", said the nurse, "She's sensitive. This wasn't only a shock, it was an anxciety attack, right? So, she needs to be monitored because of this". The three stared at her with frowns on their faces.
"Would you like me to take care of it?", she asked. The three looked among themselves. "Ok", they said in unision. The nurse smiled and picked Lilo up. "Come here after filming, I'll tell you everything, ok?". They all nodded and waved. It was all so sad. Like loosing a friend.
While they were walking back in a quick pace because of that visit group they didn't want to see, Wakko tought about what happened. Because it all happened so fast. It wasn't fair. On one hand, it was their fault. They weren't careful not to let her know they discovered something. And now she felt like a suspect, which knocked her out. They could simply talk to her and maybe get something out. If not, they could still try.
But no, they had to hide and keep everything for themselves. They were afraid of her reaction, and that wasn't right. There was nothing to be afraid of. It was just an act of some kind of selfishness, behind the exuse of caring. And because of that exuse, it didn't seem selfish at all.
On the other hand, it was her brain's fault. She was too sensitive to try. No wonder. Her one and only enemy wasn't far. Then again, the first option was more possible.
The nurse took Lilo to the hospital and put her in a room that had a brain monitor attatched to the bed. It would take a while until she woke up.
