Angel Williams had arrived approximately 3 hours before the train was due to leave. She was anxious: anxious about leaving her family, anxious about school, anxious about her mission. She had tried walking around the train to calm her nerves as trains had always been a soothing memory in her mind, but to no avail, she was still anxious.
She sighed deeply as she entered an empty compartment plopping her black-haired green-eyed cat, Pang, onto her lap.
"Oh Pang," she sighed again, "I don't know if I can do this." Pang meowed softly in response and nuzzled into her hand. She checked her watch, only 10 minutes had passed.
'This is going to be a long ride' Angel thought as she leaned on the window and shut her eyes as she began to fall asleep.
...
Angel awoke with a startling gasp, 'Drats' she thought 'I wasn't meant to do that'.
"Sebastian?" she called out, grabbing her head, sleep-projecting always made her dizzy. She was in her bedroom back at home in Angrelan, the place she least wanted to be in the world right now.

"You have to," he softly replied.
She snapped her head up, "I know that, obviously, I know that."
"It's only one year, love," he held her face in his hands, "just wait one year for me."
"I have to go."
"Angel, please," Sebastian begged, anguish in his eyes.
"I never meant to come here. Bye, Sebastian," she answered and she started to fade.
"Wait-
...
Angel once again woke with a deep gasp. She was back in the compartment with Pang.
"What am I going to do, Pang," she said, nuzzling him into her face as he meowed in reply. She checked her watch, only 30 minutes until the train departed.
She took one more deep breath in and out 'I can do this'.
...
The train left the station at 11 on the dot, but nobody entered Angel's compartment, but she didn't mind being too busy taking care of Pang, who had not taken the fast-paced train travel well. It was only about 10 minutes into the ride when she got a knock on her door with a boy and a girl standing outside.
