Across the magical lands of Ooo where creatures of all sorts got together to have fun and parties whenever they can. There was the Ice Kingdom, flocks of penguins waddling through the snow as snow golems went about their day getting… nuts and stuff.

And within the giant ice mountains that made up the home of the one, the only. The titular Ice King. Said Ice King currently sitting on his throne as he pulled his desk closer to him. Gunter sleeping on a dog bed nearby as Ice King got ready to write some fanfiction.

"Oh boy! Finally, some time to finish that Fionna and Cake series. Where they'll finally meet me so I can help them defeat the dastardly Mallard Man. This'll be so fun." Ice king said aloud to no one in particular.

Reaching into one of his cabinets to fish out one of his books, but he paused as he grabbed one of them. A confused look sprouted on his face.

"That's strange, one of these books contains a bizarre lack of tears and sweat in them." Simon thought to himself aloud as he pulled out the book, glancing at the title and immediately gasping in horror.

"Wha! What is this!? Gunther!" Simon bellowed out, waking up the penguin who groggily got up. Rubbing its eyes.

"Wah?"

"Gunther! Did you write a Fionna and Cake fanfiction outline without my know-how!"

"Wah? Wah wah wah."

"You being illiterate doesn't suddenly exempt you from being a suspect Gunther! I can't believe this! My beautiful original characters are being defiled like this! I mean seriously! Why'd you use a pun as your title!? 'Shock and Aaa' that's not even remotely clever!"

Gunther rolled their eyes. "Wah wah."

"I-I care because I made these characters and have strange fantasies about them! You can't defile that Gunther!" Ice king yelled out before opening the book and skimming through it, growing more enraged with each word.

"And even worse! A mailman's one of the protagonists! As if someone as boring as a mailman could be cool."

"Wah wah wah! Wah!"

"What? Of course a Courier's a mailman, it's the same bleeping job! But that's not the point! I hate mailmen! They all refuse to send my letters to Princess Bubblegum!"

"Wah wah."

"Bah! Marking them and stamping them is too hard! They should just send my letters anyways! And besides, why do I have to pay for to send the letters? I'm a king!"

Gunther side-eyed Simon for a moment before waddling away. Ice king frowned even further.

"Oh no you don't! You don't walk away from me mister! Get back here!" He said as he tossed the book to the side and followed after Gunther.

After a moment of silence, a portal opened within the room. A massive figure stepped through the portal.

A giant of a man wearing black robes that shifted like shadows in the void, golden trimmings, and fabric that seemingly glowed cutting through the darkness within the robes. Golden-scale armor hidden underneath much of the robes, only visible on the chest and shoulders. A giant hood obscured much of the mans head while a golden and oddly shaped mask with two tusks covered his face.

The man looked around for a moment before picking up the discarded fanfic book and cradling it like a baby. He then walked back through the portal, it closing behind him.

Fionna groggily opened her eyes as she sat up on the bed she was in, slouching forward as she rubbed her eyes with her hand. Once that was done she stretched to get the kinks in her back as a few satisfying cracks clicked in her ears.

As her eyes adjusted, however, she quickly realized something. This wasn't her bed, and it sure as heck wasn't her room that she was in. The gray and steel-colored room was a far cry from the tree house.

She paused when she saw that the wall to the room's left had large amounts of cardboard taped on it. For some weird reason.

Panic flashed through her for a moment as a million thoughts ran through her mind. Her tattered blue shirt and skirt were replaced with a… medical gown and some pj's. Glancing to the side she saw a needle sticking out of her nub. The stump itself had some surgery scars and some robot junk that has been implanted into the arm.

Frowning slightly she yanked the needle out, blood trickling down the pin-sized wound. She then scratched the back of her head in thought before quickly realizing another thing.

"My hat!" She yelled as she looked around, trying to find it anywhere nearby. But when she couldn't, she changed her mission. To find her hat.

Immediately, she began trying to stand up as she grabbed a nearby table for support.

{"I wouldn't do that honey."} Fionna froze at the somewhat tinny but feminine voice that seemingly came from the walls.

"What? Who's there?" She asked as she stood up somewhat wobbly, her legs shaking as she took her first steps.

'Don't fail me now legs!' She mentally screamed. 'I still need you if I gotta karate kick someone!'

{"Hey! Get back in bed! The big man still needs to check up on ya."} The tinny voice yelled at her.

"Oh yeah? Well, I'm not gonna trust some disembodied voice!" Fionna responded while pointing at the walls. "Not after the last time." She whispered the last part to herself.

The voice sighed in frustration. {"Fine, walk on over to the doorway. You'll see me there."}

Fionna hesitated for a moment before slowly walking over to the doorway, looking around but seeing nobody there.

"Where-"

{"Over here."} The voice said to her left, and as Fionna looked she saw… a light switch.

"What? Oh! So you're like a… robot or something?" Fionna asked as she leaned closer to the light switch.

{"Kinda? It's hard to explain and I kinda don't care about it, sweetie. If you wanna know more you could ask that KNOW IT ALL BITCH IN THE OTHER ROOM!"

{"OH SHUT IT YOU SKANK!"}

{"Tch, anyways. The big man wanted me to let you know that he left you an extra set of clothes on the table next to us. Along with your hat."}

"Oh! Thanks." Fionna replied, spotting the clothes the light switch mentioned.

{"Oh don't mention it hun, get dressed and get something to eat."} The light switch said as Fionna looked at the bundle of clothes, she immediately put her hat on, covering most of her hair except for a small amount that poured out the front. And then she looked at the other clothes, something that looked like a blue jumpsuit with the number '21' on it along with some socks and boots.

Taking the time to put the jumpsuit on she found that it was actually really comfy, like some PJs. After she managed to get everything on she felt that everything was sized almost perfectly to her, just a tad too big but nothing to complain about.

Once she was outfitted she walked into the next room, it was kinda like a small living room. With a cream-colored couch and a table next to it, various posters of bands she never heard of lining the walls, and a large tv opposite the couch. She then spotted a toaster on the table and a light switch next to it.

Getting ready she walked towards both, the light switch audibly sighing while the toaster laughed maniacally. Steeling herself as she stood before the two robots, this will be one of the greatest challenges she has had to ever endure.

"Hey! So you're little robots too?" She asked, trying to start up a conversation.

{"Well-"}

{"LITTLE!? I AM NOT LITTLE! I AM THE TOASTER! AND I WILL BATHE THIS WORLD IN FIRE! … AGAIN! AHAHAHA!"} The toaster began to laugh psychotically as its little yellow lights flashed ominously. Fionna smiled a little while nodding.

(SPEECH:37/40 {FAIL}) "Well, that's neat."

{"Wha? Neat? NEAT!? I AM NOT NEAT! I AM TERRIFYING!"} The toaster roared as its lights turned a bright red.

"Then why do your little itty bitty lights change colors when your angwy? That's cute." Fionna gushed slightly as the Toaster practically threw a gasket.

{"CUTE!? CUUUUUUUTE!? CUUUUUUUUU AGHLGHTY !#%$^ &*(!& ^!)!( ##$-"} The toaster then began to sputter before its lights died out Fionna gasping as she nervously grabbed the toaster.

"Oh, glob! I broke him." She said while shaking the toaster, hoping that would fix it as the light switch rolled her nonexistent eyes.

{"Oh don't worry about him, Doctor Six will fix the loud box later. And hopefully, remove his personality tape too."}

Fionna's attention was turned to the light switch as she nodded and set the toaster down gently.

"So uh, you mentioned Doctor Six? Who is he?" Fionna asked inquisitively.

{"Him? He's only the smartest scientist at the think tank, perhaps the entire world. I've aided him in various projects, such as the Mk2 series Riot Armor and the Mk3 Securitrons."}

"Oh that sounds neat but uh, what's he like?" Fionna asked.

{"Oh, well… He's a good man, even if he seems to think otherwise… If you want the gory details go ask the mainframe, he always had the most free will out of all of us."}

"Oh ok uh, thanks anyways." Fionna said with a small wave as the light switch hummed. The girl left the room, entering the main Sink area. Noticed how drab and gray it was. The area was shaped like a big circle with two workshops near one door along with various other oddities that decorated the place.

Like posters depicting some kind of brooding vigilante wearing a black trenchcoat and wielding a silver Tommy guy or others showing off what looked like a barbarian with a really cool ax. And what looked like an old-timey Juke-box that was humming to itself.

Hearing faint snoring to her right she glanced as saw a giant metal rectangle with a medical symbol on the front of it. She assumed it to be 'Doc'. Not wanting to bother the sleeping robot she walked over to the center of the room where a strange glowing table resided.

She looked at it, thinking it was either a magic table or one of those weird hologram thingy's Prince Gumball had. Fionna decided that it was probably the latter. Walking up to it she looked it over for a moment.

"Uh… hello?" She said as she looked at the table, and after a moment it lit up slightly.

{"Hello Madam, I see that you have recovered. Master Six will be so pleased to hear of your speedy recovery.}

"Cool… so uh who is the 'Six' guy?"

{"Currently he is away on a mission and you are inside the SINK, an outpost of his. But he is one of, if not the most brilliant mind that resides within The Big Mountain Research Center. Thanks to him, we have gained many new wondrous advancements in ideological principles and various technological wonders. And not to mention his immensely charitable-"}

"Uh… I'm sorry, but I meant more… what is he like? As a person." She clarified slightly.

{"Ah, I assume one of the light switches told you to ask me. He changed my programming slightly so I could… advise him during difficult times. Six is a remarkable man indeed, he cares a lot for people, all kinds of people. Regardless of what they've done, everything he's done is to help others. But… he can be cruel if needed. However… I suppose you can ask him yourself, he's right outside the door."}

The final words caused Fionna's eyes to widen as she turned to the front door, the handle turning as it opened. And what she saw froze her slightly, at the doorway was a massive man, a cold and oppressive aura entering the room along with him. Wearing a heavy armored trench coat that covered his entire body with shadows seemingly warping around him, the glowing red eyes of his mask stared into her soul and caused Fionna to involuntarily take a step back.

"Oh shit. Sorry! I didn't mean to spook ya." The man then said as he raised his hands up in surrender, his soft slightly squeaky voice immediately disarming Fionna as the cold aura immediately disappeared.

"Huh? Oh, yeah it's fine." She replied as her body relaxed immediately. Six entered the sink and closed the door behind him.

"How ya feeling? Any pain?" He asked as he got closer, Fionna barely coming up to the mans shoulders and for some odd reason a brief thought ran through her head. 'He smells nice, like lavender… Where did that come from?' She shook her head slightly before responding

"No, not really." She said as she rocked on her heels. "I feel pretty refreshed actually." She said as she jumped a little bit to emphasize her point.

"Well, that's good at least." He replied before reaching into his coat and pulling out a clipboard. "And before I let you go, I wanna ask a few questions. That's alright with you?" Six asked as Fionna nodded.

"Alright… let's go to the living room and sit down while we chat so we're not standing around awkwardly like this. Like a pair of jackasses." Six said while Fionna narrowed her eyes slightly.

"Swear." She said as she crossed her arms, looking displeased at his potty mouth, Six tilting his head in confusion.

"... Excuse me?" He asked in total befuddlement.

"Swear, in fact. You swore twice! One now and one earlier. That's not cool dude." She said simply while Six looked confused behind his mask.

"You're shitting me right?" He asked as Fionna narrowed her blue eyes again, she glanced to the side and saw a mug and grabbed it before pointing it at Six. The courier looked down at the mug for a moment before realization set in.

"Oh… oh you are serious." He said incredulously before looking at her and looking back at the mug. He then sighed and reached into his pocket and pulled out three bottle caps before tossing them into the mug.

"Hey! That's cheating! It has to be real money." She said while pouting slightly.

"That is real money." He defended petulantly. "At least… around here it is. Rules of the wasteland." He said while waving his hand slightly. As if it explained everything perfectly, Fionna pondered his words before shrugging.

"Works for me." She said before moonwalking back toward the mini-living room that she saw earlier. Six just walking like a normal person.

When they entered Fionna flopped down on the couch as Six sat down next to her, reaching into his coat and pulling out a robotic arm molded like a humans. Fionna's eyes widened slightly as she glanced at her stump.

Six paused as he looked at his guest. "Don't worry, it'll only pinch a lil bit. Promise." He said gently as she nodded, pulling up her sleeve and revealing her stump.

"Alright." Six muttered as he attached a few wires from the prosthetic to the robot junk in her stump before placing the arm at the elbow joint. "Hold the thing for a sec." He said, Fionna grabbing the metal arm as Six reached into his coat again and pulled out two tools. The larger one looked like some kind of handheld drill and the other one kinda looked like a taser.

Grabbing the larger one he used it to tighten the bolts around the arm and the cybernetics already installed. Once he was satisfied with the tightness he grabbed the smaller device and pointed it at the joint.

"This is gonna sting." He said before firing a blue laser at the joint, Fionna gritting her teeth at the stinging sensation as the weird laser tingled through her skin. After a moment she began to feel some sensation in the cybernetic arm. The fingers twitched as a flood of an incredibly bizarre sensation racked her brain.

The robotic hand clenched into a fist and Six turned off the blue laser, her cybernetic hand unclenching as Fionna slowly lifted the arm while giving it a good look over. She then looked at Six and gave him a thumbs-up with the cybernetic hand.

"Thanks for the replacement."

"Ah, don't mention it. Just doing what any good catholic boy would do." Six replied jovially before clapping his hands as he thought of something.

"Hey, you want some snacks?" He asked and before Fionna could answer him her stomach growled loudly, she blushed slightly in embarrassment as Six barked out a laugh.

"Guess that answers that." he muttered before reaching into his coat and pulling out a granola bar and tossed it to her, Fionna easily caught it before opening the granola and savoring its delightful crunch and flavor.

"Wait right there. I'll get us some pizza and drinks." He said before standing up and walking away, leaving Fionna alone she took another look around the room and saw a small bookshelf next to her with all kinds of comic books, magazines, and regular books. But mainly comic books.

One book caught her attention and she picked it up, something called 'pugilism illustrated' with two big burly men duking it out on the cover. She began reading the book, watching the pictures of people beating each other up and the book also showed effective ways to punch and kick as well as various grappling moves to incapacitate opponents. It was pretty enlightening.

After a few more pages the smell of pizza entered her nose as Six entered the room again, a pizza box and two soda bottles in hand. Setting the pie down Fionna opened the box and saw some pepperoni pizza. Quickly thanking the armored mailman she took a slice and began to eat it, savoring the flavor of the well-made pie.

"S'good." She said through a mouthful of cheese and sauce, as Six chuckled and took off his helmet. Setting it on the side, his entire head covered in a balaclava. The only parts that weren't covered were his mouth as he took a bite out of the pizza. And his eyes.

His eyes, unnerved her somewhat if she was being completely honest. They didn't look natural, the irises of his eyes were a bright golden color that seemed to glow slightly, even in the light. But she had to admit, it also looked really cool with the armor and mask he had on.

"Woah, your eyes look bananas." She said, trying to compliment him.

"Oh, thanks I guess." Six said with a shrug before setting down his slice of pizza and pulling out a clipboard from his coat.

"Alright, date of birth?" Six asked, beginning the questions.

"Uh, March 14th, 983 A.M.W." She answered honestly, Six pausing before looking back at her and then at the clipboard before sighing.

"Should have seen this coming." He muttered to himself before coughing slightly. "Ok, how old are you?" He instead asked.

"Oh uh. I'm nineteen." She said as she finished her first slice and grabbed another slice.

"Alright." Six said before writing something down. Humming to himself before taking a sip of his soda.

"Name?" Six asked before finishing his first slice of pizza.

"Fionna, Fionna Josephine Jostar." She replied evenly, Six stopped writing as he glanced at the girl. A smirk under his mask as a truly unexplainable feeling arose within his heart.

"Fionna Josaphine Jostar? Huh, pretty bizarre name." Six remarked as a devious glint sparked in his eyes, Fionna narrowing her eyes as she knew what was coming.

"Don't you dare."

"Dare to do what? Jojo!" Six joked before chuckling to himself as Fionna pouted slightly before a small smirk wormed its way to her face.

"I never saw that one coming, just like the THUNDER CROSS SPLIT ATTACK." She said before laughing at the joke, Six furrowing his brow in confusion as he tried to decipher the meaning behind the joke. Fionna's laughing grew stilted as an awkward silence filled the room.

"Uh, what… what's wrong?" Fionna asked after a moment of silence.

"I don't get it, the joke." Six replied as he continued to mull over the joke in his head. "Is it some kind of reference?"

"Wha, You don't get it!? But, you made the reference first!" She said as she pointed at Six.

"I did? I just thought Jojo was a funny nickname." He admitted with a shrug. "I didn't know there was a show or something after some Jojo guy."

"Well, I guess I should have known 'cause it's not really… ah never mind." She replied before a thought crossed her mind. "And uh, what's your name?" She asked.

"Well, I go by many names and titles, most of them are technically insults but I think they sound cool. But most people just call me The Courier, or Courier Six."

"Wait, your name is Courier Six? Like the job?"

"No. It's not my real name obviously, but it's what most people call me." Six shrugged. "But I prefer Courier Six honestly."

"Huh…" Fionna paused as she drummed her fingers on the couch's armrest. "Can I know your real name?"

"Hah, no." Six smugly replied. "However, as some sort of reconciliation. I can offer you my backstory in return." Six said, a small smirk forming under his mask as Fionna considered the offer. The girl was definitely curious about the man in front of her, about him in general. From his cool armored trench coat to his glowing golden eyes.

"Alright, yeah sure." Fionna said as she grabbed another slice of pizza, digging in as Six began to recant his tale of woe.

"It all began when I was born, for you see, I was raised by a clan of wandering Ninjas." Six began, immediately capturing Fionna's attention as the Courier told of the grueling training he underwent with his Ninja Clan.

The various Ninja wars and Ninja duels he had fought in his life, all Culminated in him winning back his family's heirloom sword that had been passed down for generations.

"And here it is." Six said as he reached into his coat and pulled out a pristine katana that gleamed in the light, its velvet red hilt contrasting the bluish metal of the sword.

"And with this blade, I was officially crowned King of all Ninjas." Six exclaimed as Fionna looked at him with stars in her eyes. "You may bow." He said

"Wow. So you're ninja royalty?" She asked in slight reverence.

"Nope." Six replied simply, grinning under his mask before laughing at seeing Fionna's pouting expression.

"But you said you were going to tell me your backstory!"

"I did say that, but I didn't say I'd tell you right now." Six said as he put the katana away. "Besides, what I told you is more entertaining than the real thing." Six said with a shrug as Fionna continued to pout at him. The Courier rolled his eyes before making a decision.

"Alright fine, I'll tell you someday. But." He raised a finger before Fionna could respond. "Not today. Ok?"

Fionna looked at him exasperated, she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath before nodding. "Alright." She responded.

"Perfect, now back on track." Six said before looking at his clipboard. "So, as a hypothetical. You witness a trolly heading towards a split on the tracks, on the first set of tracks are five people that are tied down to the tracks with the trolly heading towards them-"

"Oh. That's simple. I'll just untie the guys… or gals." She said as she slouched into the couch. Six chuckled slightly and pointed the pencil he had upwards.

"Not finished." He said simply as Fionna blushed slightly in embarrassment, muttering a small sorry in response.

"It's fine, but yeah. The trolly is heading toward the people. In front of you is a lever and if you pull it, the trolly will go on the other track instead. However, on the other track, there is another person, also tied down and if you pull the lever they will die instead. What do you do?" Six asked as he leaned into his chair, Fionna staring at him in disbelief.

"Wha- That's a dumb question." She whined. "There's no right answer! I- why can't I help all of them?"

"There's not enough time. But, what would you do in this situation?" He asked again as Fionna paused and thought to herself, rubbing her chin in contemplation. Six ate one slice as he waited for her, Fionna thinking harder before her eyes widened as a metaphorical light bulb flashed over her head.

"Is the trolly empty?" She asked as she leaned forward slightly, Six raising an eyebrow before nodding.

"I guess so yeah." He replied with a shrug.

"Then I'll try and derail the trolley with my sword." She said with a smug sense of satisfaction.

Six just looked slightly befuddled before chuckling to himself and leaning forward slightly. "Alright, I'll bite. How would you do that?"

"Well, I'll just jam my sword into its wheels and it should clog it up and cause it to stop." She explained as if it was a master stroke to a multi-layered plan. Six looked at her for a moment before he began to chuckle again, placing a hand over his mouth as he just pictured this girl that barely came up to his chest just forcing a massive metal box off the rails, all just to save a few people. He just found it endearing.

"Alright, that's one of the most creative answers I've gotten to that answer." He said before writing something down. "I guess that tells me what I need to know." He said as he tossed the clipboard aside and stood up.

"So, you still hungry?" He asked as Fionna ate her fourth slice, the girl looking at the rest of the pizza before shaking her head and finishing her soda.

"Dope. Let me show you around here then." he said before grabbing his helmet and putting it back on. "Come on." He said as Fionna smiled somewhat before standing up and following him through the SINK.

The two of them entered an elevator with Six pressing a button on the panel, the doors closing and the elevator descending to the lower levels as smooth jazz began to play through the elevator speakers.

"You like Jazz?" Six asked as the music played in the background.

"Eh, I like pop-music more." Fionna replied as Six tilted his head in surprise.

"Seriously? Never would have guessed." He replied while Fionna shrugged lightly.

"It's upbeat and it puts me in a good mood. I just like it." She explained simply as Six nodded in understanding.

"Fair enough." He said as the elevator stopped and they arrived at the ground floor, stepping out Fionna took a look around and saw something that instantly caught her attention. Just outside were two golf carts.

"Hey, what are those for?" She asked as she pointed at the carts, Six glancing at them.

"Those? They're for getting around the crater quickly, mainly if I need to go fix something. Why you ask?" Six wondered as they looked each other in the eye, a silent conversation happening between the two of them. They then looked back at the golf carts.

Near the forbidden zone of the Big Mountain research facility were two robots currently performing landscaping duties in the facility. An Assaultron and a protectron raking leaves that somehow always managed to get there despite there being no trees around.

{"I blame Borus, I know that bastard's always putting leaves here."} The assultron said, grumbling to itself.

{"It. Is. Obvious Borus. Puts. These. Here… To keep us busy. But; I hate Doctor. Zero. For. Making. Us. Self-Aware. I. Hate. Him."}

As the Assultron moved to respond something zoomed past the robot, clipping it and sending it flying to the side as it landed on the pile of dead leaves they had spent hours piling up. Sending it everywhere as like Autumn Leaves they glided across the air.

Another object zoomed past, scattering the leaves even further before taking off. The faint sounds of laughter off in the distance as the object went out of view. The protectron stood there for a moment, processing what had just happened.

{"Sometimes. I. Wish. I could. Kill. My. Self."}

Six pressed the pedal down to the floor as soon as he came out of the turn, the engine in the cart roaring as it shot forward at its top speed. Glancing behind him he saw Fionna fumble the turn slightly before chasing after him. The dust clouds kicked up by both carts made it hard to see her, but he could hear the motor of her cart.

Turning his gaze back to the road he took another left as they passed by the Y-0 center and entered the botanical area. The lush vegetation of the section filled his view as he saw Fionna slowly catching up to him in her cart.

Grinning under his mask, Six spotted the end of the cavern and took another sharp left, drifting on the dirt road before slamming on the gas once more as he shot forward. Glancing behind him before focusing on the road again.

The cart wobbled slightly, not built for what he was currently putting it through. But he had faith that the machine would get him to the finish line. He built it after all.

Glancing back at Fionna he saw her cart wobbling unsteadily as she grew closer, even worse than his cart was. She was really putting that thing through it's paces. His grin widened slightly as he enacted the first step to his devious plan. Watching as Fionna passed him by in her cart, her grin and focused eyes made him happy. He'll let her have this, for now at least.

His plan beginning with a simple flick of a wrist.

Fionna grinned as she passed by Six, gaining the lead in their golf cart race before taking another turn and getting the drift down almost perfectly this time as the cart shot forward; glancing back she saw Six struggling to keep up.

Her grin widened as she forced the cart to go faster; the exhilaration of the race made her heart pump wildly as the carts engine roared. The machine wobbled from the speed as the cool air whipped at her face.

"Whoo Hoo!" She yelled out in exhilaration, her blood pumping

Zooming past the weird structures and crystals the dotted the place Fionna spotted another turn coming up, the last one before the trek to the finish line. With a determined gleam in her eye she spun the wheel of the cart in order to drift around the turn.

The cart shook at the turn and Fionna's eyes widened as she heard a popping sound from behind her. The cart now uneven as it began to spin out of control.

"Woah!" she yelped as she slammed on the brakes, hoping the cart would stop. Dust was kicked up all around her is it continued to spin before it had finally come to a stop. Just a hairs breath away from tilting over. Fionna sat stiff as a board for a moment before sighing in relief and slouching into the carts seat.

She glanced to the side and saw Six pulling up next to her cart before stepping off and rushing over. "Hey, you alright?" He asked as she nodded.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." She replied as she stood up, her legs a little wobbly. Six holding out a hand for her to help keep her steady. "I faced a lot worse before, just a little shocked I guess." She said with a small shrug with Six nodding in understanding.

"Well glad you're alright." Six said as they both glanced at the cart.

"Uh. Sorry about the cart." Fionna apologized as she rubbed her arm sheepishly, Six shaking his head and waving her apology off.

"No, It's fine. I can fix it pretty easily. I'm just glad you're ok Fi." Six replied, gently patting her on the shoulder.

"Come on, I technically showed you around so let's get back and play some video games and watch some bad movies. What do you say?" The Courier asked while leaning in a little closer, Fionna beaming up at him before nodding.

"Yeah, that sounds great actually." She responded as the both walked towards Six's cart. Hopping on and driving the rest of the way back to the main dome of the dome-shaped mountain.

As they approached they saw one of the brains of the mountain floating there, the irritable Doctor Klein waiting for the both of them.

"Huh, who's that?" Fionna whispered as they pulled up.

"Klein, don't worry about him I'll handle it." Six whispered back as Klein approached them.

"Yo Klein! What's up?" Six asked as he waved at the brain, Klein grumbling to himself.

"WHAT'S 'UP' LOBOTOMITE IS NOT ONLY THE SKY, BUT ALSO THE FACT YOU AND THIS OTHER SUBJECT AND HER BIZARRE PENIS-SHAPED HAT-."

"Hey!" Fionna whined with Klein ignoring her.

"THE TWO OF YOU HAVE CAUSED MINOR DESTRUCTION TO ONE OF THE WHEELY DEVICES AND SOME ROBOTS THAT YOU RAN OVER IN YOUR 'RACE'. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF LOBOTOMITE?" Klein demanded as Six drummed his fingers on the steering wheel.

"Well for one it was a science experiment, as an engineer I was simply testing the durability and general performance of the cart. With Fionna simply being my assistant in the matter." He said with a shrug.

"Secondly, You're just being a hater. Get over it." Six said with a shrug as Fionna laughed slightly, covering her mouth with her hand.

Klein grumbled something before floating back into the sink, muttering to himself all the while.

"That went well." Six said with a nod before getting off the cart, Fionna following close behind.

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask. But is this place close to the candy kingdom?" She asked concern shining in her eyes as she thought about something. "My friends are there and I hope my sister's there too."

"Candy kingdom?" Six hummed in thought, "Never heard of it, sorry." He said with a shrug as they entered the elevator back up to the SINK. Fionna's expression fell at his words

"But, I'll help you get back there if I can." Six continued, Fionna smiling slightly.

"Thanks, Six." Fionna said as The Courier nodded back at her, he was about to say something as the elevator opened up. But a ringing sound cut him off, Fionna recognizing the sound in an instant.

"That's my phone!" She said as she rushed towards the source of the sound, a chest next to one of the workbenches, Six walking close behind. Fionna opened the chest and spotted her backpack.

She grabbed her phone and answered the call. "Hello?"

{"Fionna!"} A familiar voice called out through the phone, both worried and jubilant.

"Cake!" Fionna called back, a wide smile on her face. "Cake your ok!" She continued, relieved beyond words.

{"I am, but are you ok Fionna? I was so worried."}

"I'm fine Cake, I got some help."

{"That's great, but we need you to get back to the Candy Kingdom as soon as possible. Because… the kingdom has moved."}

Fionna paused, raising an eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?"

{"From what Prince Gumball has told me, it's teleported to somewhere else. Just, where are you?"}

Fionna opened her mouth to speak but stopped, mostly because she had no idea where 'Big Mountain' was. But then Six stepped forward.

"Can I have the phone for a second?" Six asked, Fionna hesitated for a moment before nodding and handing over the phone.

"Hello, Cake? Right?"

{"Uh, yeah. Who is this?"}

"Well I go by many names but uh, Just call me Courier Six. And yes, like the job." Six said while reaching into his coat and pulling out his pip-boy 3500. Grabbing one of the adaptive cables and plugging it into the phone.

{"Huh, well. Can you tell me where you and Fionna are at?"}

"Yeah, so, this Gumball guy already figure out how y'all got here? Good." Six asked as the map on his pip-boy updated. "Huh, you're in Kansas, near Colorado." He muttered before continuing.

"If possible travel by air and stay as high up as possible, less risk that way, if not, go by car. I'm sending the directions over to you, it should take about a day. Got it?" He said as he uploaded the completed map through Fionna's phone over to Cake.

{"Yeah, I got it… Thanks. And you better keep my baby sister safe or I swear I'll-"}

"Don't worry, I'll make sure she's fine. Scouts Honor." Six replied, Cake sighing slightly on the other end.

{"Alright… thanks."} She said before hanging up the phone, Fionna looking at him intently, expecting an answer. Six sighed as he put his pip-boy back into his coat.

"So… I was hoping I'd be able to ease you into this." Six started, twiddling his thumbs.

"Ease me into what? Six, what's going on?" Fionna asked as she stepped closer.

"... You want the good news or the bad news first?" Six asked, clapping his hands together.

"Oh! Uh, good news." She responded, nodding her head slightly.

"Alright, Good news! The world hasn't ended and we're all still very much alive." The Courier said jovially while giving her a thumbs up. Confusion Fionna slightly.

"And… the bad news?"

"Well…" Six paused as he nervously rubbed his gloved hands together. "Fionna, our 'dimensions' have permanently merged together and people are starting to notice. A powder keg has been lit, and I don't know when it's all going to explode." Six sighed and slouched, stressed out.

"I wish I had more time to figure everything out… but…" Six shook his head. "It's not exactly a walk in the park." He said with a shrug, Fionna pondering his words as she rubbed her chin in thought. Her eyes widened as she realized something.

"I… I think I know what caused this to happen." She admitted, her hand shaking slightly. The atmosphere in the room grew cold in an instant as The Courier looked at her, the red lenses of his helmet gazing deep into her soul.

"Tell me everything."

AN: Hey, it's me again. I'm back after the hiatus. Last year was not kind to me in the slightest, from college kicking my ass and a toxic partner that played with my feelings like a fiddle. Things were not super poggers tbh. But it's in the past, I'm back you sexy mother lovers.

Super heavy weapons guy: Indubitably, fun times abound for all.

Thewolfgod99: Glad you liked the chapter.

Khoashex: Glad you like it, and yeah. One of the conflicts later on down the line are factions like the NCR and various tribes trying to expand and use the resources of AAA. Lots of conflicts further down the line.

JustYaAverageReader: Well, with the man cast it'll be a mix of befuddlement and excitement lmao. While other, not-so-wholesome factions, try and take those locations over for personal gain. And while I do plan for AT characters to interact with those guys, I will do omakes of the cast just doing various shenanigans.

Gwynx: Thanks, amigo.
