Freedom Is Always With You

When faced with endless possibilities, people will always take the one that lets them do what they want to do. Izuku Akatani lived by that ideal to the beat of his heart, and his freedom never died out as he explored the whole world around him. 3. Look Past The Clouds

Travel the City, No Holding Back

Neito Monoma used to look at the world with disdain and apathy. He used to look at everyone with sadness and anger as he turned to a dark place in his life. He grew up knowing that his quirk was a danger to other people as they saw a monster instead of him. They saw something else entirely.

"SON, GET AWAY FROM THAT QUIRK STEALER."

"GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER YOU FREAK."

"STAY OUT OF MY WAY, YOU GODDAMN THIEF."

He saw and heard these words all the time, and never once responded, as he feared he would get an insane amount of backlash if he even responded to the bullying he received.

Then he met Hitoshi Shinso, a person with the same burden as him, looked upon with Anger and apathy for his quirk. Why? Why did quirks define people? Why did they define your personality? Why did they define who you truly are?

It was thoughts like those that led Monoma to wanting to become a hero, wanting to prove all of his doubters wrong about him. Wanting to prove every single person who said all those swears and insults that they were wrong.

And he didn't care if they asked for his forgiveness.

He then met Izuku Akatani, a guy that didn't care about his quirk, a guy that didn't care about his inferiority complex that he had gained, a guy that looked at him as an equal and friend.

A person he could trust for the rest of time

Izuku showed compassion, empathy, pride, confidence, seriousness, and fun-loving all at the same time. He looked at him as an equal, as a person who would become a top hero, a person who would become the #1 hero.

Neito would stand right next to him

He would be on the same road to Heroism as Izuku. He learned how to train his quirk with Izuku in his simulations as to hold the copied quirk for a longer amount of time. He learned martial arts such as Kickboxing, Breakdancing, and Wing Chun. He grew flexible as to help with his dodge timing and trained his reflexes using Izuku's speed to produce perfect timing for his counter-attacks. He trained with Izuku and Hitoshi almost every single day; he knew everything about them.

They were his brothers

He knew he could be an amazing hero; he had the training; he had the drive; he had the passion. All he needed was the right school to get him to that level, and UA was that school. Sure, he could've gone to Shiketsu or Ketsubutsu Academy, but UA was the only school that would take his talents far.

He would become Legendary

Once he saw Izuku do his recommendation exam, Neito knew he would get into the school. He knew that there was absolutely no chance Izuku would be declined from entering the school.

And that got him fired up

Once Present Mic sent them to their cities, he looked at Hitoshi one last time and he saw something

He saw the same determination

That is when Neito knew that all three would make it into UA, and that all three would see each other as future heroes. This was his journey, his future, his path.

His World

Hitoshi Shinso was on the bus to the city contemplating how he got to this point in life. He thought about how he got here, what he had to go through just to make it to his dream school.

He fought and clawed his way through the ranks, while getting looked at with disgust by everyone around him. He grew up around Bakugou and was turned into the villain of his class by everyone around him. He was hated by his peers and teachers alike, never once trusted to open his mouth or else people would kick him out. He desperately wanted to prove himself.

He wanted Freedom

He met Neito Monoma when he was transferred into Aldera Junior high after Neito got pulled out of his former school for beating up too many bullies. He appreciated Neito, for he was a similar soul in the world. A person who knew what it felt like to be looked at like a villain and to move past it without a care in the world and walk alone on the road of liberation. They now walked together on that road, never once losing sight of the light that was heroism.

Bakugou was a thorn in his side at all times, always insulting him, always trying to attack him, always trying to put him down.

He never faltered

He wanted to look at his doubters and tell them they were wrong about him, wrong about the insults, wrong about the claims of villainy, wrong about everything.

Death threats, claims of expulsion and being put into jail, they never stopped him.

Then Izuku Akatani changed his life forever. A random person stood up for him, stuck his neck out for him. He almost found it to be a fantasy at that point. No one had ever stood up for him before. Then Izuku complimented his quirk, and that was a shock to the system. No one ever said his quirk would be a hero's quirk before, and the words he said after stuck with him until today.

"Quirks don't define a person, but a person can define their quirk. If you believe you can be a hero, be a hero, no one will stop you on the path you want to walk if you work hard enough. People in this society will always try to bring you down, but when you walk along the road to freedom, no one will ever come between you and the endless opportunities you can claim. Anyone can become a hero, even a villain, all they have to do is look for the freedom that guides you to your true calling, and walk that path until you become great."

Izuku had said those words to him before with the most amount of passion and determination he had heard from anyone ever, and from that point on, Hitoshi had a new goal for himself. He would no longer do it to prove doubters wrong, he will no longer become a hero for his own satisfaction.

He will become a hero to show what freedom is to all.

Izuku and Neito were with him every step of the way, each of them training their bodies to their absolute limit every day. Training their minds, their bodies, their quirks, their reflexes, everything.

His quirk could now brainwash even the smallest of verbal responses, even a single gasp could control someone. He learned multiple fighting styles with Jujitsu and Breakdancing, and learned to use a bo staff. He modeled himself after Eraserhead, the hero that could erase other's quirks. Hitoshi knew he needed to do his best. He saw Neito's face as both of them left for their respective cities after Izuku's performance. He knew what Neito was thinking, as he himself was thinking the same thing.

"I will stand next to my brother!"

He looked ahead to the fake city that was before him as he was looking outside the bus windows

"Let the freedom guide me to my goal, and I will reach the next journey in my life."

Katsuki Bakugou waited as he got off the bus to prepare for his grand entrance into the Hero Course. He was excited to dominate the exams, and now he has even more motivation for getting first place.

"That damn Blue haired extra, how dare he steal my spotlight?! He was supposed to just be a bug I could squash aside, a goddamn ant compared to me, why is it that he is so good?!" He thought to himself.

"I am getting first place in the exam, and no one is stopping me. If someone tries to stop my rampage, I will kill them dead. They will not get in my way!"

Bakugou then thought about the two from his former school, the two villains.

"If those damn villains try to get into this school and steal my birthright, they have another thing coming. I was supposed to be the one to get out of the backwater swamp into the spotlight, and if they try to stand with me, I'll send them back down to where they belong!"

Bakugou looked at the entrance to the City. Only one thought came to him in the end.

"I will be Number One, and no one will stop me from getting my glory."

Nozomi Yagi looked at the entrance to her city with a determination that could rival the top heroes, and arrogance that could rival her friend Katsuki. This was her time, and hers alone. She will become a hero and save everyone, and she will become number one. She had to become number one; it was the only way to live up to what her father accomplished. Her mother and father wanted this from her, and she would not disappoint them. It was a given that UA was going to accept her into the school, she just needed a strong showing in the entrance exam to ensure it.

She needed to do it to prove herself to her parents, to prove herself to her uncle and grandfather. Her eyes shined green as she lifted herself into the air a little with her telekinesis. It was time to join her parents in the ranks.

No Holding Back

"LISTENERS, GET READY TO GO!" Yamada shouted as they all ready their quirks for battle to show themselves off.

"START!"

Hitoshi rushed into the city, Neito dashed inside, Bakugou used his hands to explode his way forward, and Nozomi floated inside, all ready to show their worth.

"What are you all waiting for, there are no countdowns in real life! There are students already gathering points, GET GOING!"

It was a mosh pit

Everyone rushed in looking for robots to manhandle. In City B, explosions were heard all around as Bakugou charged in, ready to demolish everything that came his way. City C had robots floated up and then smacked back down as Nozomi lifted some up. City A had robots all with destroyed heads and cannons as Monoma powered his way through using the basic form of Izuku's energy blasts, and City D had robots destroyed with Shinso's bo staff and finesse. Other competitors tore through the robots. A black-haired teen hardened his skin and punched through, while a silver haired one turned his skin to steel and did the same. A teen that looked like a younger Ingenium used the engines on his legs and kicked through the robots with extreme finesse. A girl used her quirk to touch the robots and lift them up into the sky, then bring them back down. A girl with vines on her head lifted the robots and flung them into walls.

It was Pandemonium

Neito looked through his city and the robots he had taken down. He had already gathered multiple points using Izuku's quirk, but now it was time to show his versatility. He shut off Izuku's quirk after he gained 15 villain points and looked for another person. He then saw a girl being cornered by some three pointers in an alleyway. It seemed the girl was moving towards the building, but tripped and fell onto her ankle as it rolled a little. He rushed toward her and took off the heads of the three pointers and then looked at the Black-haired girl that was right behind him as he took down the robots.

"You okay, anything hurt?"

"...thanks…I am fine"

"Alright, here let me help you up."

Neito helped her up and then set her straight to make sure her ankle is fine. He knew he had gained a copied version of her quirk, but now was not the time to dwell on it.

"Alright, I'll see you later. Hope you pass Miss?"

"...Yui Kodai."

"My name is Neito Monoma, see you later."

"Wait!" She yelled as he almost ran.

He turned around and raised an eyebrow as she looked at him with serious eyes as he stared back unaffected.

"... Can we work together to gain more points…?

Neito was confused, but also it was an intriguing opportunity. With her by his side, they could cover each other's backs and share the points that come with each robot. It was a possibility he couldn't refuse as the pros outweigh the cons by a mile.

"Sure, but can you keep up with me though?" He said with a taunting smile.

She looked at him with an eyebrow raised and smile as she said,

"Better try to keep up with me, blondie."

"Hey, can I join you two, we can make the day out of it?" a voice from above had yelled.

Both Kodai and Neito looked up to see a black-haired boy with a bandana smiling down at them with an excited grin as he jumped down.

"Sure, but what is your name and quirk?"

"My name is Yosetsu Awase, and my quirk is called Weld. I can fuse objects together at an atomic level if I'm touching both objects."

"My name is Yui Kodai, and my quirk is called Size. I can alter the size of any non-living object that I touch."

"Name's Neito Monoma, and my quirk is called Copy. I can Copy any quirk for a max of 30 minutes and use it at an appropriate level."

Both Kodai and Awase looked at him, and Awase then screamed,

"That is so cool, man! You can be the ace of our team, heck maybe you can combine our quirks together?"

"...It is a very cool quirk." Kodai then whispered.

Neito just looked at them and smiled. He found more people he could trust right now. He was very excited to dominate the exam.

Hitoshi had gone through the exams very simply. The robots were easy to crush with his skills now, and he had no trouble taking them down. He then thought back to before he met Izuku and thought about what he was before.

"If I stayed that way, I probably wouldn't be doing as well as I am right now."

Hitoshi then looked towards the roof and got a view of the city for multiple robots as he heard,

"8 MINUTES REMAINING."

He had 22 villains points as he destroyed 3 three-pointers, 4 two-pointers and 5 one-pointers.

"That's not enough, I need to get more if I want to end up in the hero course." He thought to himself as he stared at the streets below.

He then catches a glimpse of an Orange Haired Girl protecting a girl with a mushroom on her head from multiple 3 pointers. Hitoshi then jumped off of the building, rolled, and immediately sprinted to the robots. He then took out his bo staff and crushed the head of a robot as he had his back against the Orange Haired girl's back, each facing off against multiple robots.

"You look like you need some help, you two." He said with a tired voice.

"Yeah, she fell down and might have a concussion if her head isn't soft. I rushed over here immediately, but I'm having trouble holding these things off," the orange one said in a serious voice.

"Yo, mushroom head, you okay?" Hitoshi yelled out to her.

"Yes, I'm fine for now, my head protected me from the fall…" She said in a pained voice.

"Alright then, join the fight, we need to beat these things."

Each of the three then rushed the 7 remaining robots, with Hitoshi taking three out easily with the other two taking two each.

He was about to walk away, seeing that they were okay, but then stopped himself.

"You two okay?" He asked with a sigh.

"Yeah, we are good, thanks for helping us out there. My name is Itsuka Kendo."

"My name is Kinoko Komori, nice to meet you shroom!"

"Hitoshi Shinso, and how many points do you all have."

" I got 37 points." Kendo stated with pride.

"... 24 Points…" Komori said with shyness.

Hitoshi then thought to himself, "Okay, I have 31 points now. If we all stick together , we should secure enough points to get into a hero course."

"Do you want to work together?" He asked them.

Both of them looked at him with a weird look and then Kendo asked him, "Wouldn't that bring our points down though?"

"Not if we all look for where the most points lie, I can parkour my way to the roofs and then look for the biggest density of where robots are by jumping across, and with you two following me on the ground we will gather enough points to get into a hero course."

Kendo and Komori both looked at each other, then Hitoshi, each wondering what the other would do. Komori then stepped up to him and bowed, "I'd love to work with you."

Kendo then smiled and stuck out her hand, "Same here." as she shook Hitoshi's hand.

"What are your quirks, mine is Big Fist. I can enlarge my fists to a specific amount to do more damage.

"My quirk is called Mushroom. I can spread various types of fungi from my body to the floor that will grow into mushrooms, they can even grow on my body!" Komori said excitedly. She always enjoyed talking about mushrooms.

Hitoshi then sighed. Here was the deal breaker, the one that would push away these people.

"My quirk is called Brainwashing, I can brainwash someone if they respond to me verbally. Even if they gasp or are about to say something, I can control them."

Hitoshi then shut his eyes, waiting for them to walk away from him and was about to turn around himself until he heard,

"That is so cool! Getting this far in a combat test without a physical quirk is really hard to do. You must know some martial arts right, when this is over maybe we can have a practice fight to see who is the better martial artist?" Kendo said with a grin.

"It is very impressive that you got this far, and your quirk is really suited for hero work Shinso." Komori mumbled with a smile.

Hitoshi just tiredly smiled at the two and bumped fists with them. Ready to take on the challenges that lay in front of them.

The Staff of UA watched through the cameras of each city with anticipation on their faces as they looked at multiple people.

"These future students, they need to be strong"

Camera then showed a Black-haired boy punch through a robot

"Fast"

Another camera shows a tall blue-haired boy with engines in his legs run down a street

"Creative"

Another shows Neito uses the combined version of Awase's and Kodai's quirks as they all take down a group of robots in front of them.

"Tenacious"

Footage cuts to Bakugou, destroying every robot in his path, keeping the angry look on his face.

"Smart"

Footage cuts to Nozomi using her quirk to smash the robots together and using the parts of the destroyed to fling at others.

"And above all, they need to be ready to put their body on the line at all times."

Footage cuts to Hitoshi, Kendo, and Komori all staring down the three pointers covering each others' backs.

"These are the qualities that make up a pro-hero today, and this is what the future generation needs to hold." Nezu said all the staff.

"Some students are doing extremely well, but I didn't expect some to group up like that." Kayama said excitedly as she looked at Neito's and Hitoshi's groups of 3 as they took down some robots.

Aizawa especially looked at Hitoshi with a serious stare, wondering what he was truly made of.

Kan meanwhile looked at Monoma, looking at the leadership he displayed and how creative his attacks were.

"Nezu, isn't it time for you to stop playing around and actually make it serious for once?" Aizawa said while in his sleeping bag.

"Yes Aizawa, lets see what the children are made of." Nezu said with a grin.

A tall Blond man then stepped up to a red button, ominously hovering over it.

"I believe that I should be the one to do the honors."

That is when all hell broke loose.

Hitoshi, Kendo, and Komori each walked down trying to find several robots to take down, but couldn't find any.

"How many points do each of you have?" Hitoshi had asked while panting.

"42 points," Kendo said while catching her breath on the floor.

"I have 34 points," Komori said while lying down on the floor.

"I got 45 points," Hitoshi had finally ended.

Each looked at the other with smiles, they thought they had done it.

A rumble was then heard from their location, as screaming started happening.

"What on earth is going on?" Kendo had asked while on her knees.

The group then looked up to see a giant robot the size of a building standing up in the city, looking down at the students.

"Well, shit." Hitoshi said while looking up.

Neito, Awase, and Kodai each had finished a three pointer group as they all met up with each other to discuss.

"I got 50 Points!" Awase said excitedly while gasping for air.

"...I got 39 points." Kodai said quietly while panting and sitting down.

"I got 47 points, good job you two." Neito had said to them with a tired grin as he held himself up with a wall. "We did extremely well, no doubt we are getting into a hero course."

They then looked up at the sky and saw a looming figure in the distance. It rose bigger than the buildings and it stared down at the streets, with its shadow covering half of the city.

Bakugou had gathered 92 points and was walking down a street, throwing parts out of his way. He had massacred the robots that dared to step in his way as he was looking to head into the triple digits. He then saw multiple students running away from a robot bigger than the city buildings.

"Goddamn extras, why the fuck are you even trying to be a hero if you're going to run away from something bigger than you?! You got to stare down any and everything if you are going to be the strongest." He screamed at them all.

He rushed the 0-pointer, ready to take it down, even if it cost him no points.

Nozomi also rushed the 0-pointer, ready to take it down, but not for the same reason. She saw the same girl that the boy Akatani had saved in the morning from tripping underneath a rock and was determined to get her out.

"HEY, YOU WITH THE BLUE HAIR, COME HELP ME!" She had screamed to the one with engines on his legs. He rushed over and said.

"Miss, what is it that you need me to do? There is this behemoth and I need to get away fast enough to avoid damage."

Nozomi then lifted the rock off of Uraraka, and then told engine boy,

"TAKE CARE OF HER."

Nozomi glowed green and picked up debris from the floor as she started bleeding from her nose and eyes.

She threw all the debris at the Zero-Pointer, ready to take it down for good.

Hitoshi was always a great strategist. Even in bleak situations, he could always think himself out of a problem.

This Problem Was too Big to Think out of

A robot the size of buildings. No wonder they said it is an arena trap. He looked towards Kendo and Komori, both on their last legs.

"LEGS, THAT'S IT!" He thought to himself.

"Komori, do you think you have a little more stamina?" He asked her seriously.

"I think I have enough for one more mushroom, yeah." She said to him tiredly.

Kendo then looked at Hitoshi and saw the seriousness on his face, "Shinso, what are you thinking?" She asked him.

He then just looked at Komori and said to her, "You are going to be the one to take that thing down."

Neito looked up at the robot towering up over him, Awase, and Kodai with a nervous smile on his face as he turned to the others, who were petrified with fear.

"So, you think you can take it down?" he asked the other two with nervous laughter.

"ARE YOU INSANE, THAT THING WILL KILL US!" Awase yelled out to him

Kodai just stood there, staring at the robot above them, seeing her life flash before her eyes.

"Guys, everyone else ran away. We have to be the ones to take it down, or else it will kill us." Neito said with no ounce of fear on his face.

Awase then looked at him with an angry look on his face, but once he saw that Monoma had no fear on his face, he felt it was going to be okay.

"Monoma, you brought me this far man, right now I trust you, so if you want to take it down, be my guest. I will help any way I can." Awase declared seriously.

"Kodai, do you think you can do this?" Neito looked at her seriously.

Kodai just looked at him and saw the seriousness in his eyes. She felt scared, terrified, but Monoma's eyes didn't just hold seriousness to her, it showed worry to her as well.

She would be okay.

"I.. I can do this." She uttered anxiously.

"Good, because Kodai, you're the key to beating this giant." He stated with a monotone voice.

Bakugou didn't care about how this thing was bigger than a building; he did not care about how the thing looked as strong as it was. All he cared about was becoming number one. All he cared about was being the strongest, and his journey to become the strongest started right here.

"COME GET ME YOU BAG OF BOLTS. I AM GONNA SQUASH YOU LIKE A GODDAMN ANT."

"They put themselves in the face of danger and do not care."

Hitoshi begins to distract the zero-pointer by jumping across roofs and keeping its focus on him.

"They go against the tides and put themselves in a place to succeed."

Awase and Neito begin to run around the Zero Pointer's legs, trying to weld it to a building to stop its movements.

"They risk their lives to prove themselves to the masses."

Bakugou explodes an arm off of the Zero-Pointer as he continues his assault.

"They know that this moment might be their last, and they don't care."

Nozomi launches the debris that partially destroys the Zero-Pointers Arms and face.

"They Go Beyond."

Komori begins to make the biggest mushroom she has ever made.

"PLUS ULTRAAAAA!"

Komori encases the Zero-Pointer legs inside of a huge mushroom which led to it falling over and getting destroyed because of the velocity it fell over at. Kodai shrinks her Zero-Pointer and passes out because of the exhaustion she experienced during the test. Bakugou explodes his zero-pointer into bits and pieces of what it used to be, and Nozomi pelts the robot with debris until it ceases to function.

The alarm sounds, the test is over, and each person falls to the ground as the exhaustion spreads. But they had done it,

They had beaten everything UA had thrown at them

Neito and Hitoshi both wake up in a hospital room with each other, and both look at each other from their opposite beds as they each ask one thing after they wake up.

"I got 47 points." "I got 45 points."

They both just smiled at each other and pumped their fist. They had taken on the UA gauntlet and took the challenge head on, and it didn't break them. The door then opens to see an older, short woman walk into the room.

"You two passed out on the floors of your respective buildings, and since UA knows of your history with each other, we put you two in the same room. Your friends that you participated with are in the rooms next to yours, have a good day, and I hope you get into UA, no matter how reckless you two are." She said to them as she muttered the last part to herself. She then walked out as Neito and Hitoshi got up and bro-hugged each other.

"We did it, man." Neito said with tears in his eyes.

"Hell Yeah we did!" Hitoshi exclaimed tiredly

"Hey Monoma" "Hey Shinso"

Both turned around and saw the people they had taken part with as they both looked at each other and said, "You made a team too?"

Neito then said to Hitoshi, "Well these are the people I teamed up with, Yosetsu Awase and Yui Kodai."

"These are Itsuka Kendo and Kinoko Komori, they teamed up with me." Hitoshi responded.

Awase then walked up and punched Neito on the back of the head, "NEXT TIME DON'T DO ANYTHING SO GODDAMN STUPID."

He then bro hugged him and said, "But man, you were a goddamn badass over there."

Kodai then went up and hugged him and said quietly, "Thank God you're okay."

Neito then blushed and Hitoshi raised an eyebrow at him as he then got smacked by Kendo.

"Next time you do something like that, I am going to hit you so much harder." She then picked him back up and hugged him saying, "But nice to see that you are okay, I was worried there," in a sister-like tone.

Komori then stated, "Nice to see you are okay Shinso." She then slapped him and said, "Next time you make me do that for my last shroom I'm putting you in it," pouting and huffing at the same time.

Hitoshi then said, "My bad Komori, next time I will die." He said tiredly and sarcastically.

All of them then heard a knock on the door, as each was wondering who else could it be. They then see a blue-haired boy with green glasses walk into the room with his hoverboard.

"It's the guy that was on the screen!" Everyone thought excitedly. They then looked at him as he did a backflip and said,

"NEITO, HITOSHI! YOU TWO DID SO WELL. I SAW EVERYTHING FROM A CAMERA THEY SET UP FOR ME." Izuku said with a rush as he went and hugged the two of them.

"Izuku, get off of me, my bones are cracking." Hitoshi said while in pain as Neito just stood there almost passing out for a second time.

Izuku then let go and fired off a list of questions as Kendo, Awase, Komori and Kodai each looked confused at. Did their new friends know this guy?

"Excuse me," Kendo was the first to speak up, "You guys know this dude?" She said with a tilt of her head.

Izuku then jumped and said, "Sorry bout that, I just haven't seen them for a whole day and was super excited about their performance in the trials. Same with you guys, I was impressed by your control over your quirks and the amount of versatility they contain. Name's Izuku Akatani, nice to meet you." He said with a grin and thumbs up.

"Name's Yosetsu Awase, nice to meet you, man." He said with a grin of his own as they fist bumped. He liked this guy! He was nice and was easy going.

"My name Is Kendo Itsuka, nice to meet you too." She said as he gave her a handshake.

"My name is Kinoko Komori, nice to meet you. I hope you like mushrooms!" She said excitedly.

"Well, I am a fun guy," He responded with a smile and laugh as she hugged him for the joke.

"...My name is Yui Kodai, I'm glad to have met you." She said with a bow.

"Nice to meet you, Kodai!" He exclaimed with a grin.

"Wait so, how did you do all that on screen, what's your quirk." Awase asked curiously.

"My quirk is called Chaos. It uses energy within me and on the outside to speed me up to sonic speeds and produce energy attacks at all ranges. I have defensive moves, offensive moves, dashes, any type of move in the book I can use. My quirk also gives me no weaknesses."

At that moment, everyone's jaws dropped as he explained his quirk to them.

"B… But THAT IS SO OVERPOWERED!" Yosetsu had screamed out to him.

"Oh no no no no, I had to train day and night to make sure that I had this power. Every time it is my birthday my power increases and I have to learn to control it, so I always have extreme control over it. It is not really overpowered as other quirks can match up to it, I just have my quirk controlled to a point where it seems overpowered. My creativity is also well, and that's how you saw me do that stomp in midair." He said with a peace sign and snicker as he looked at their faces.

"How did you get to those places and what is that board you have there?" Kendo asked with excitement as she was impressed by his quirk.

"I got to those places by using an invention I call the Reality Simulator, you heard what they called it, right? Anyway, I use that invention to create a reality in which I can train in, whether it be any biome, rescue mission, search and destroy mission, etc. It can test my speed and my power pretty hard, and I can also take damage in there as it still gives me pain when I get hit by something. Hitoshi and Neito both have trained in some levels along with me as I am still programming levels into the Simulator. As for my board, I call it the Extreme Gear, and it is a hoverboard I created that goes at high speeds and can boost and grind across multiple services. I plan on building more and handing them out to my friend group before introducing an Extreme Gear tournament to the world."

Every word Izuku had said was taken into account by the shellshocked teens before him. This guy was bending reality, and he didn't even care. They all had one thought.

"I want to be friends with him."

He was a nice guy who they learned loved music, video games and martial arts as he always liked to have fun. His favorite food is katsudon and chilli dogs, as he always loved inventing and running. They also learned about how he had traveled all across the world and learned multiple languages as he had visited multiple countries.

"Wait, are we friends?" Kodai asked quietly.

"I thought we were already friends the moment we met." he said with a grin that was returned by everyone else.

"Well, we have to leave UA soon, can't come back here until when we all get in." Izuku said excitedly.

"Don't you mean if we get in?" Kendo asked him curiously.

"Nah, I definitely mean when." He said with a thumbs up.

They each walked out as they headed to the nearest fast food place as they all hung out for the evening.

"Wait so, when are we getting the acceptance letters, do you know Akatani?" Awase asked him with interest.

"Never did, but You can call me Izuku, all my friends call me by my first name." He said with a smile that was returned by everyone.

"In that case, you can call me by my first name too, call me Neito."

"Hitoshi."

"Yosetsu."

"Itsuka."

"Yui."

"Kinoko."

They each smiled at the others as they learned a lot about the others. Yosetsu liked to play video games, which Izuku challenged him upon when they left, which he gladly accepted. Itsuka liked martial arts and reading as she challenged Izuku, Hitoshi, and Neito all to some spars, which they accepted with challenging looks on their faces. Yui enjoyed learning new things and Kinoko liked mushrooms, something that was not lost on Izuku as they both began to make mushroom puns, to which everyone taped their mouths shut and laughed.

It was around 5 P.M. when they all checked out Izuku's apartment, in which Itsuka, Yosetsu, Kinoko and Yui all marveled at the open space.

"Wait, you live here all by yourself?" Itsuka asked him.

"Yup, ever since I came back to Japan around 10 months ago I've been living here, all expenses paid for." Izuku said as he put his hands behind his head.

"What happened to your parents?" Kinoko asked innocently

"Never knew them, left my adopted family years ago because of an abusive father and never looked back." Each of them then gave a sad glance as he smiled and said, "It is alright, you didn't know and besides, I don't hold any of them in my heart. I never knew my birth parents and in all honesty if I ever meet them I don't know what I'll say. I have had a good life until now and I just zoom forward knowing that in the end, I'll be okay."

They all just looked at their new friend with a smile as Neito and Hitoshi both just nodded at him, they already knew the story, they didn't seem to care anyway as he was their brother now.

"How did you meet Hitoshi and Neito?" Yui had asked shyly.

"I met them both on the same day. They were getting harassed by this dirty blonde hair guy that I can't remember the name of, and I just messed around with him for trying to bully other people. I defended them and we became friends and I brought them here to hang out. We all have been brothers ever since." He said in a soft voice as he looked at Hitoshi and Neito.

They just looked back at him and nodded with a smile on their faces as he then grinned and dashed upstairs and back down with the gaming system.

"Anyway, I heard you want to duel me in gaming, you up for the challenge Yosetsu." He said with an edge behind it as an evil smile grew on his face. Yosetsu grinned evilly right back as he said, "You're going down!" as lightning was seen between their foreheads. Kinoko joined them as she said, "You're both going to get mushed." Neito then told Yui, "I can teach you how to paint. I paint pictures on the side and would love to teach you how to do it." He said with a hopeful look as she nodded with a blush on her face.

Itsuka then grabbed Hitoshi's shirt as he tried to walk away and said, "oh no, we are going to have that spar right now!" as Hitoshi just sighed and closed his eyes as she whisked him away to fight on the fighting mat that Izuku had set up back when he came there.

Yosetsu had asked Izuku when they started the game Dragon Ball Fighter Z, "So what led you to join the recommended exam?" He said as he picked Vegito Blue.

"Well, it was a perfect storm of events, really. I was on a remote island next to Japan that I found and I was training there since the scenery there is amazing and the terrain there is perfect for my speed so I always make sure to take a trip there. While I was there, the principal of UA came there. Apparently, he also goes there, but for different reasons. He goes there to check on the animals and make sure they are okay as he was supposedly born on that island and always makes sure they are okay. He met me there and after Impressing him enough he offered me a chance to go into UA as a recommended student. The exam I did was for another reason as well, however. The principal wanted me to show off so it would get the other students so fired up that it would cause them to do their absolute best in the exam."

"Isn't it highly convenient that the principal of UA found you?" Kinoko asked as he snorted lightly.

"I found it very convenient, but I never question it." as he laughed as he KO'd Yosetsu again with Ultra Instinct Goku, but they weren't really paying attention.

"Well, you 100 percent got me fired up, I did the best I could and with Yui and Neito helping me, I got a great score."

"Same, Itsuka and Hitoshi both helped me get an amazing score. I thought it couldn't be done."

"Neito was a born leader. He will do anything to help people as to not experience what he did growing up. Hitoshi knows what he is doing as well, he is always tired but always tries to go beyond expectations," Izuku said with a snicker.

"I heard you, he helped me so much through the exam. I am grateful. You think you could build me an Extreme Gear. I'll race you all the time." as they both looked at each other and grinned.

"Same here, make me a mushroom theme one and I will never lose!" She said as she started cheering.

"You'll both lose easily, it won't be a competition."

Neito and Yui were both upstairs, Neito sitting next to Yui guiding her on how to paint.

"You painted some things before and sold them to some art museums." Yui had asked.

"Hell yeah I did, they were some good paintings too. I painted all the stuff in this apartment as well." Neito said proudly.

"How did you get into painting?"

"It was mostly to do with getting my emotions out on a canvas, releasing the stress I had contained inside of me. Nowadays I just use it as a calming experience for me as I always enjoyed it."

"Why did you save me during the exam?" Yui asked, and she looked down. Neito then stopped painting and looked at her.

"I mean, I was alone, and you could have gathered more points and left me there." She then starts to cry as she almost yells, "What was the point of saving me? I just hindered…"

"Stop right there."

Yui just looked at him with tears in her eye as she saw the smile on his face as he put the brush in her hand, guiding her across the canvas.

"It is because you needed help, and I am supposed to be a hero. What kind of hero would I be if I didn't save someone who looked like they needed help? What kind of person would I be if I left someone to be hurt, or even worse, die? I saved you because I wanted to. You saved me as well Yui. So don't be downtrodden about how you supposedly "hindered" me, when you saved me and Yosetsu from the Zero-Pointer. Few people could do that, and you did it."

She then stopped the brush as she looked at him right in the eye,

"Do you think we can be together?"

Neito then widened his eyes and laughed. She almost cried when he laughed until she heard him say, "Give it a couple of weeks, that way we don't end up dating on the first day we meet. Get to know me more before you come to any type of conclusions," He said with a grin as he finished guiding her as she finished the painting on her own. It was a painting of her facing off against the Zero-Pointer. She looked at him and smiled as she said, "Yeah, you're right. Don't need to rush into things too quickly. For all I know you can be a prick." She said with a chuckle as he laughed with her.

Hitoshi slammed Itsuka onto the mat, as he said with a fatigued voice, "Are you done losing to me?"

"Yes yes, I'm done, but don't think this is over!" Itsuka shouted at him.

"Trust me, it never is. Izuku is still better than me at fighting, but I'm catching up to him."

"I want to ask, why did you close your eyes when you told me and Kinoko your quirk?" She asked with a confused tilt of her head as he sighed.

"I was bullied for years for my quirk, because according to some people I had a villainous quirk."

"But that's stupid, no quirk is villainous, it's"

"The person who uses the quirk in a villainous way. I know, Izuku gave me the same spiel about it and that's when I changed my drive to become a hero. I used to want to become a hero to prove my doubters wrong about me, now I want to do it to show people a difference in what it means to work hard for your goals."

"That's an impressive drive, Hitoshi. What was your training regiment like?"

"Every day, Izuku, Neito, and I would train in the simulator that Izuku provided. Some have fighting lessons such as kickboxing and Wing Chun, and we would spar with each other every day. I also got into parkour and practiced roof-hopping in the city to eventually get it right. I trained my quirk to make sure it is at its fullest potential right now and will eventually get to a point where I can control people just as easily as Neito can use his quirk, or Izuku can use his."

"You think Izuku will let me practice in his simulator?" She asked with interest.

"I'd be surprised if he did not ask you by the time you left." He said with a small mumble and chuckle as she laughed at him.

Izuku then ordered a pizza for them to eat as he told them, "You all could train with me if you want to. I always love helping my friends with something." He said as Hitoshi just whispered, "I told you so," to Itsuka who started laughing while eating the veggie pizza as Kinoko was asking about how good the Mushroom pizza was.

Friends Are Made with Connecting Souls

A week had passed since the Entrance Exams had taken place and Izuku was at his apartment watching House Of Cards on Netflix when he heard knocks at the door, and when he went to open it all 6 of his friends popped up with the letters from UA in their hands.

Izuku immediately let them in and they all sat at his couches and each opened the letters at the same time.

"I AM HERE AS A PROJECTION!" A blonde man had screamed

"Wait a minute, ALL MIGHT?" They all had yelled.

He then laughed boisterously and said, "YES KIDS, IT IS I, THE SYMBOL OF PEACE HIMSELF. ALL MIGHT! AND YOU MUST BE WONDERING WHY I AM HERE? BUT I AM HERE TO TELL YOU THAT I AM BECOMING A TEACHER AT UA HIGH SCHOOL!"

"ALL MIGHT IS TEACHING AT UA?" Yosetsu had screamed

"THIS CAN'T BE TRUE." Kendo had pinched herself as both Neito and Hitoshi looked shocked, Izuku just looked on with a smile and nod.

"Anyway, lets get on with the points."

Hitoshi got 45 points, Neito got 47 Yosetsu got 50, Kendo got 42, Yui got 39, and Kinoko got 34.

"BUT WAIT, THAT WAS NOT ALL TO THE TEST. UA doesn't just have villain points, we also have a system of points called "Hero Points" where the more heroic you act, the more hero points you earn."

"CONGRATULATIONS, THIS IS YOUR HERO ACADEMIA."

It then showed a list of the Top 15 and the names that were shown were

Time had stopped as each of the group looked at each other, then they heard sniffling as Kinoko and Yui had started to tear up. Then they all started cheering while Hitoshi and Neito stayed in silent shock. They had really done it. Izuku just looked at the two, laid back and smiled.

They beat the odds that were stacked against them. There was nothing to hold them back now.
