In the kitchen, Emma and Noah are perusing the dossier before coming across their first clue hidden amongst the various blank pages.
"All right," Noah said. "Here's the first clue. Looks like a riddle. "'With shiny fangs…'"
We cut to the bedroom where we see Bridgette and Geoff looking over the riddle, with Bridgette continuing from where Noah left off.
"'My bloodless bite…'"
We're shown Ryan and Stephanie in the dining room where we see Stephanie finishing off the riddle.
"'Will bring together what's mostly white'."
"Donald Trump," Ryan immediately blurts out, gaining a look from his wife.
We return to the kitchen where we see Emma in deep contemplation.
"'Bloodless bite'," she whispers to herself. "It's not a vampire. Um…" Worried that the others might figure it out first, Emma digs through her purse and pulls out her phone. "I'll just Google it." As she begins typing it in, Noah appears skeptical about the earlier proceedings.
"It's so inconsistent, isn't it?" Noah tells his wife. "I mean, they stage this super realistic fight. They give us an FBI dossier but with riddles. It's like, let's pick a tone. Let's stick with it."
"But that's the game," Emma comments. "You wanna win this car or not?"
"Yeah, yeah. More than anything, but I feel like Dave is setting me up. Do you get that feeling? You know, that this is some game where somehow he's gonna humiliate me?
Rubbing her chin, Emma believes she understands where Noah may be coming from with this. Then, upon seeing Dave's tablet computer, she gets an idea… an awful idea… she had a wonderful, awful idea. "Well, let's not play by his rules." She holds up her phone and the tablet, gaining a mischievous smile from Noah.
We return to the bedroom where we see Bridgette and Geoff still looking over the dossier, with Geoff constant repeating the first line, hoping something will come to him.
"'My bloodless bite, my bloodless, bloodless bite. Bloodless bite, bloodless bite, bloodless bite'." After a while, Bridgette gets annoyed and shuts the dossier before shutting Geoff up.
"Can you stop chanting 'bloodless bite'?" she asks, politely. "It's just… Trying to think." Geoff holds up his hand in understanding. He then hears a car engine start up and looks out the window to see Noah and Emma driving away.
"Oh, shit!" he says. "Noah and Emma must have figured it out. Shouldn't surprise me, they're smart as shit."
"Right," Bridgette said, trying to come up with a strategy. "We need to find an advantage." Geoff silently whispers 'advantage' to himself as she looks around the room for something that'll give them a leg up on the competition. After a moment, she spots something on the bedside and approaches it. She picks it up and shows it off to Geoff, revealing it to be Dave's wallet.
"Dave's wallet?" he asks, confused, before coming up with a possible reason as to why she's digging through his personal items. "You think we should steal all of his shit!"
Bridgette, despite smiling at Geoff response, shakes her head solemnly. "No," she tells him as she pulls Dave's credit card out of the wallet. She then goes back to where Geoff's standing and dials a number on a cordless phone. "Hi, yeah," she begins speaking to someone on the other end. "I lose my credit card. I was wondering if you could tell me what the last few charges I made were."
Geoff, a bit nervous about whatever Bridgette planning, frantically asks, "What are you doing?"
"If we can find out the name of the murder mystery place he used," she begins to explain, covering the phone so that the person on the other end doesn't hear, "we can go to their office and pay them off to give us the final clue."
"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Geoff appears excited when he hears this. "You're, like a double threat. Brains and you're vegan." Bridgette, although slightly peeved that he got those two mixed up again, decides to let it slide.
"Thanks," she replies as she waits for a call-back.
We return to the dining room where we see Ryan & Stephanie still trying to figure out the answer to the riddle.
"Okay. What has shiny fangs that bites white things together?" Ryan says. After a moment, Stephanie comes up with the answer.
"A stapler!" she answers, excitedly. "And the white things are paper." Ryan shakes his fist in triumph at his wife's knowledge.
"Yes! You are so smart and unfaithful!" Despite comment, Stephanie raises her hand, and they high five each other.
We then turn our attention to them entering Dave's study where we see a stapler situated on his desk. They rush towards it and open, revealing that the contents of the stapler doesn't contain staples, but a flash drive. They momentarily observe it before Stephanie motions towards Dave's computer.
"Put it in the desktop," she tells Ryan. They hurry over towards Dave's computer and insert the flash drive. They quickly open the file, which they discover contains another riddle, which Stephanie proceeds to recite.
"'I'm brown and old by day, white and young by night. My eyes are glass, I have nine faces but no head. I sing to the sky but have no voice. I'm everywhere and nowhere'."
After finishing it off, the two give incredulous looks, signifying that the riddle is more confusing than trying to tell the difference between cilantro and parsley. Ryan, in particular, is fairly vocal about how ludicrous the riddle is.
"What the fuck is that?"
Back with Noah and Emma, we find them triumphantly driving in their car with Noah laughing while Emma overlooks something on Dave's tablet.
"I mean, how cool are we?" Emma asked her husband.
"Very, very cool," Noah responded. "We are very cool."
"Right?" Emma said.
"You're the cool one," Noah clarified. "You know, tracking the phone is just a great idea." Emma nods before turning her attention back towards the tablet.
"Still on Route 18, huh?" she responds, revealing that she and Noah are hot on the heels of Dave and the supposedly fake kidnappers.
"We're catching up to them," Noah said, the confidence extremely prevalent in his voice. "Here we come, Davy."
"Can you imagine the look on his face when we find him so fast?" Emma says, excitedly.
"You know, baby, I can feel my sperm already coming back to life," Noah tells her.
"Perfect," Emma whispers to herself before speaking in her normal tone. "So we'll win your brother's car, and then we'll go make a baby in it."
"Yeah! We'll make him watch us. Huh?"
"Yea-" She begins, before taking into account what Noah just said and immediately recoiling at his statement. "I don't wanna do that."
"No, me neither," Noah admits.
"I'm not into that."
"Sorry, don't know why I said that. Not a great idea."
"Okay."
Back at the house, Bridgette is shown wrapping up the call, looking pleased as punch by the answer she received.
"Okay, great. Thank you," she tells the person on the other end before hanging up the phone. "All right, I got the name and the address of the games company."
"Yes!" Geoff cheers, shaking his fist in triumph. "All we have to do now, figure out what 'bloodless bite' means." Bridgette, after having put in all that work, gaps at Geoff's statement.
"No, we don't," she tells him, annoyed. "That's why…" She pauses, allowing for Geoff to soak up the information, resulting in him face palming due to his statement. "Doesn't matter. Let's go," she reassures him before the two proceed to vacate the premises.
Back with Ryan and Stephanie, they're still having trouble piecing together the answer to the second riddle.
"How you gonna be old and young?" Ryan asked, bewildered. "That doesn't make sense."
"I know," Stephanie says.
As they continue looking over the screen, Geoff and Bridgette pass by, which gives Geoff an idea for a little foreplay.
"Guys, hey, how's it goin'?" Geoff asked them, a bit too nonchalantly, as he slowly closes them with Bridgette smiling in the background. "I just wanted to wish you the best of luck tonight. Bye." He shuts the door. After he does so, Ryan and Stephanie share a frown.
"No," they both say, indicating that they know the guy is clearly up to something.
Outside, Geoff slides a console in front of the door.
"What are… What are you doing?" Bridgette asked her date.
"Just being a dick," Geoff tells her. They begin to leave as Ryan attempts to open the door, only to realize Geoff blocked it. However, before leaving, Geoff kicks the still unconscious Agent Sanders, amazed by her dedication to her part.
"Don't kick her, Geoff!" Bridgette tells him, offscreen.
"She's such a good actor!" Geoff tells her as the two make their leave and begin towards the murder mystery place.
"Geoff!" Ryan yells from inside the study, fidgeting with the door handle in an attempt to get it open, to avail. "God damn it!"
Inside the study, the trapped couple begin looking around the room until Ryan's eyes fall upon a box of matches.
"Baby, hand me those matches," he says. "I'm about to burn this door down."
"You're gonna light a fire in a windowless room that we're trapped in?" she asked her husband, nonplussed.
"You slept with Bill Nye the Science Guy. He talked to you about flames?" Ryan questioned, gaining a groan out of Stephanie due to him still being hung up on this. However, as she looks around the room for another solution, she looks up and points to something up on the ceiling.
"What about that?" Stephanie said, turning Ryan attention's towards and overhead skylight, signifying that they may've found a way out and allow them to continue the game.
