Life was great for both Lilo and Wakko now that they had solved all of their problems. Wakko didn't have to participate in filming anymore, and the visit group was gone long ago, so now they visited the psychiatrist every morning and had a lot more free time, which also meant they could get to know each other better. Little did they know that would soon be disturbed again.
"Morning everyone!", Katie's mom greeted everyone that one day, "Did you all sleep well?". "Yeah", they all said, thinking what she was up to again. "You remember the movie lot visits?", she asked. They all nodded. "Do you want to go there again?", she asked.
Half of them cheered, half of them groaned. But one thing was for sure. Mertle felt so much rage, she wanted to disappear. At that moment, she wanted to scream at her mom. They wanted to destroy her, which she tried her best not to let happen.
"Alright!", Katie's mom said, "Since half of you agrees, I think we should go. It'll help you become better people". Better people?! That was what they wanted? Mertle already started making yet another escape plan.
Lilo stared in shock at the sight below her. She couldn't belive it. Was this Mertle's plan? No, surely not. If it was, she'd come alone. "Come on Lilo, we're-", Wakko stopped as well and stared down in her direction. There they were again. "Hey, you know what?", he turned to her, "They're in charge of an adult. Why don't we just pass them by? Nothing bad can happen".
Lilo's face lit up and she hugged him, "You always have a solution". So, they still went to visit the psychiatrist.
Dr. Scratchensniff watched as the two were passing by the crowd. Suddenly, it dawned on him, he realised what could've happened that they had been in the emergency room the other day. How were they going to handle it now? What was he going to say if they told them what really had happened?
Knock knock
"Come in!", he said and the two opened the door just a little bit, but didn't enter. "Can we go talk to the nurse again?", asked Lilo there from the door. "Of course!", he said and they closed the door. As soon as they left, he sighed in relief.
"Oh, morning you two!", the nurse greeted when she saw them and gave them a big hug, then frowned, "I saw everything". "Wait, what?", Lilo asked, "You know who hurt Wakko?". "I just guessed", she said with a sigh, "It's not hard". Lilo sighed as well, "It wasn't supposed to end like this".
"Not everyone is going to hurt us", said Wakko. Lilo looked at him in confusion, "What do you mean?". "Out of all of them out there", he said, pointing out the window, "There's only one who could". Lilo sighed again, "I know...I'm still scared". "You don't have to be", said the nurse, "We're here to protect you".
"How long will this go on for?", asked Lilo. "What?", asked Wakko. "Your siblings are going to kill us if we keep hiding this from them", she said. "What makes you think that?", he asked. "If Mertle tries to hurt us again...", Lilo trailed off.
Wakko took her hand, "It's better like this. I don't want them to worry".
Oh great! They're back again, Mertle tought when she saw them walk to the psychiatry building.
