"Guys...wake up...", the nurse came after an hour and found them with their faces down. It worried her to see them like that. The two turned on their backs and stretched. "I was thinking", she continued, placing a blanket between their beds, "If you could have a little emotional support".

Their faces lit up. That was the exact thing they needed right now! How could she know? Anyways, she lifted them up one by one and sat them down on the blanket. "There", she said, "You can keep it". As soon as she left, they hugged and just stayed like that for a while.

"You feeling better now?", asked Lilo. "Yes", said Wakko. "Hey, when's the last time you ate?", Lilo suddenly asked. Wakko froze. They didn't have breakfast. Which meant... "Last night", he answered, "Our apetite fell". Lilo slapped herself hard, "No way...". Wakko took her hand, "Just don't hurt yourself, ok?". "I'm fine, don't worry", she said. "How can you be fine after what has happened?", he asked in shock.

"I said that because of slapping myself", she explained. "Oh...", said Wakko, feeling like he overreacted. "But you're right", she continiued, "We're hurt. Have been many times". "Ok, ok", said Wakko, "Can we talk about something more...cheerful?". "Like what?", asked Lilo. "Well", said Wakko, "One time I was just walking around the lot when this guy came with a camera and started following me and I yelled at him to stop filming me but he didn't so I just striked the camera with my mallet".

Lilo laughed, "That sounds funny". "Yeah", said Wakko, chuckling as well, then remembered another one, "Or that one time Scratchy and I got stuck in the elevator". "Really?", asked Lilo. "No", he sighed, "It was only for the show". "Oh", she said, "So they stopped the elevator on purpose?". "Yup", he said, "Probably because of me". "Hey", she wrapped one arm around him, "Please don't think like that".

"I just don't understand comedy anymore", said Wakko. "That's ok", said Lilo, "We don't have to talk about it if you don't want to". "Ok", he said, "What can we talk about then?". "Our imaginations", said Lilo, "Some beautiful places that don't exist". "Like...those with a lot of food?", he asked. Lilo chuckled, "I guess so".

"What about you?", asked Wakko. "I like to imagine that you can live in the sky, on the clouds", said Lilo, "And when the sun sets or rises, they become pink, and it looks so beautiful". "Yeah", he said. "You know, I've always wanted to fly in the clear blue sky between white clouds over the sea". "Wow", he said, "You're talking about your home, right?".

Lilo sighed, "Yeah". "You miss it?" "A lot. Especially my sister". Wakko gasped, "Me too", and frowned. "What is it?", asked Lilo. "They're probably looking for us...", he said. "Who knows?", she said. "You think they're not?", he asked. "I don't know", she shrugged her shoulders, "But to be honest, it's better for us to get yelled at than for them to be in danger". "You're right".

Suddenly, they heard someone arguing outside and then footsteps coming towards the door. The two looked at the door, frowning. Luckly, the nurse entered. "Sorry for that", she said, "Here. Have something to eat", she set the food on the blanket.

After lunch, the two decided to take a nap. "I'm afraid to fall asleep", Lilo whimpered. "It's ok", said Wakko, "We don't need to go back to bed". So they just layed down and fell asleep across from eachother.
