Chapter 2 Prepare for War
.Another Area in the forest
Elsewhere in the forest a group of adventurers came back to the forest to test their skills. After Shizuna passed they decided to train harder and push themselves to help honor their memories of her. Many monsters were in the forest so it should not be too hard to find for one. They searched high and low looking one. They were not aware of the shift in the ecosystem due to the orcs invasion which they will see the results soon enough. After a long search they decided to take a break.
"You know, I was expecting to see more monsters around here. Did something happen?" Irene asks.
"This area was supposed to have plenty of monsters, but to think there was hardly any is a surprise." Guid uncertain.
"Maybe we should try going deeper into the forest?" Cabal suggested.
"I don't know about that. I was hoping we could avoid going too deep into the forest." Irene stated.
"Yes but at this pace we won't find anything and all that training would be for nothing." Guid points out.
"You're right, it would be a waste, so let's go a little deeper." Irene replied.
"If we don't find anything we leave immediately." Cabal being cautious
They continued to move deeper into the forest. They found monsters just not the ones they were expecting. These monsters were usually seen on the other side of the forest.
"Alright that's far enough. We have not found anything worth testing ourselves so let's call it a day." Cabal preparing to leave
"*Sign* We will just have to try again another day." Guid disappointed. Guid turns around when something grabs him without making a sound. Cabal and Irene heard something fall and see Guid was not around. They trace back to see Guid dagger laying on the ground. They pick it up and slowly walk forward to look for their comrade. After passing a nearby tree they found him hung upside down by his feet. The two looked around to see if anyone else was around. There was noise coming from the bushes and loud footsteps coming towards them. A massive troll comes out of the bush and several more appear and surround them.
"Elemental Trolls? What are they doing on this side of the forest?" Cabal asked.
"Mind cutting me down?" Guid asked.
Irene shoots magic and cuts him down. The group does their best to fight off the elemental trolls but their large bodies and coordinated attack proves troublesome for the adventurers. After two of the trolls coordinated an attack, the group was left paralyzed and unconscious. The trolls took their catch and headed back to their cave. *Predator Crackling Noise*
Troll Cave
Wolf vs Elemental Trolls
The group was deep inside the troll cave and locked up inside a wooden cell. The trolls were preparing to eat the adventure. The group was powerless to fight back against the trolls. The Fire troll grabs Irene and takes her to the fireplace. The other two adventurers tried to help, but the Green troll smacks them both, sending them flying back into their cell. The Fire troll looks back to see what's going on. The next instance a cloak weapon pierce through its neck, the Fire troll fell still holding the adventure. The other trolls looked to see what was going on. The Elemental trolls began to fire off magical shoots in different directions to eliminate the threat in the area. Irene opens the cell to free her comrades. The adventure looked where the trolls were at. It was hard to see in the cave with the flash from the remaining elemental trolls.
The remaining trolls were facing different directions, waiting for their attacker. There was a sudden noise coming from one direction and the trolls turned and fired in that direction. The purple and blue troll walked over to see what was there. The trolls heard a noise behind them. They run back and see the green troll's head missing. Looking farther back they saw his head pinned on the wall. The adventurers were watching from a distance behind some rocks wondering what is, attacking the trolls relentlessly.
"There's something out there making sport for these guys." Irene
"I've heard a few rumors about a head-hunting demon in the forest. Do you think… that it's here?" Caba asked.
"The Devil of Jura." Irene replied.
"If it's here then we need to get out of here. I don't plan to die in some troll's cave." Guid whisper.
"We can't escape as long as the trolls are around." Irene replied.
"Once he takes care of the last one we run for the exit." Cabal instructed them.
The adventurer poked their heads up and saw only one troll left, the blue one. The blue troll was struck with fear after watching its comrade killed off one by one but it still had the will to fight. The blue troll filled the area with a little water so he could know where to aim his next attack. He hears a noise and uses the water in the area to trap it. The troll tightens his fist and crushes whatever was trapped in his water prison. He walks over to see what it is and was shocked upon his discovery. It was the corpse of the green troll. *Impale SFX* The troll's heart has been pierced by a metal spear and then he falls to the floor.
The adventurers are still hiding, wondering if the fight is over.
"You check and see if it's clear." Guid tells Irene.
"Ok."
Irene pokes her head up. *Flesh tearing and Bone Snapping SFX* Irene just saw something pull the spinal cord and head off the fallen troll. She covers her mouth and hides behind the rocks. After ducking back down she pukes from the sight she saw. *Puking and coughing SFX*
"What did you see?" Cabal asked.
The cave suddenly began rumbling, followed by a growling. Cabal looks up and sees a giant bat looking creature with electrical magic coming from it. He also saw something that looked like a human but taller and muscular. It was the Predator Wolf readying himself to fight this monster on his own.
"Run!" Cabal shouts.
The adventurers ran as fast as they could out of the cave.
Scarface side
Scarface grabs the lower spine. After two tugs he pulls the Orc's spinal cord and skull out, holds it up and lets out a roar of triumph. Everyone is in a bit of shock after what they just saw. Scarface turns around still holding his bloody trophy in one hand and Shion is standing several feet from him, not sure what to make of what she saw.
"The Devil of Jura!" Shion was shocked with her eyes wide open.
Scarface looked at Shion and then at everyone else. There was silence for a moment. *Predator crackling noise*
"Hahahaha." Voice mimic.
Scarface then begins to fade out of existence. *Cloaking SFX* The last thing Shion sees is a pair of blue eyes light up then disappear. Scarface walks off with his trophy and disappears. After Scarface leaves, Rimuru heads back to the village with everyone else including the orges
Troll Cave
Inside the troll cave, a fierce battle recently concluded. Wolf climbs out of a cave with the head of the powerful monster that manipulates thunder and lightning along with the troll's skulls. Wolf has now achieved his goal of slaying a monster worthy of an Elite and is now officially the clan leader. While leaving the cave, information display inside his mask on his screen

The following skill Trophies evolves to Skull Collector- receive an additional Magicus and strength from prey. Additional magicus if the prey uses the same kind of Magicus.
Clan Leader physical strength and Magicus and intelligence increase.
Wolf climbs up high into the tree to give himself first aid. He sits down his trophies and pulls out his med pack and begins treatment. After cleaning up the wounds, he grabs a syringe with some liquid in it. He pushed it and a little of the liquid came out then he injected himself. He lets out a loud roar that startles the birds in the surrounding area. Wolf finished his treatment and around the same time there was a gust of wind that blew past him. He looks up and sees no one around.

Traces of Magicus detected.

A trail of Magicus was seen near Wolf. He pushed a few buttons on his wrist computer that opened a lid and a small circular sphere came out. He grabs his fresh trophy and begins to walk. He paused and looked back behind him for a second and then turned around and disappeared like a ghost. *Cloaking Activate* Treyni poked her head out from behind the tree and saw Wolf was gone. She looked below her and saw the circular sphere where Wolf was sitting. She picked up the small metal ball and red alien symbols lit up and gave a beep noise like a sonar. It beeps a few times. Elsewhere Wolf's masked eyes flash while traversing through the forest. Inside his mask on the screen a beacon was emitting from the device he left behind on his mini map and vital readings in the radius.
Predator Base
Scarface returns to their base of operations. While walking down a hall, three large Blackfang Wolves are chowing down on meat. Scarface throws some fresh meat for them and they begin to eat. After one finish, he follows Scarface. Scarface cleans up his trophy and places it with the rest of his collection. He walks into a larger room where Scar is working on a new prototype weapon. A large black tiger with white strike looks to see who is walking in. Scarface places his recovered Shuriken back on his armory wall with the other weapons. Shortly after, Wolf walks into the main room with his trophy and displays it to them. Scar and Scarface meet him in the middle. They both knew what this meant. Wolf was now an Elite and officially their leader. They both took a knee and bow showing their respects to him. Wolf walks past them towards a throne type chair where he sat down.
A larger Blackfang Wolf comes in and takes Wolf's trophy to where it will be cleaned and displayed later. Scarface and Scar go back to their station and Wolf's chair rotates 180 degrees the opposite direction. A large screen displays the entire forest from a bird's eye view. The screen displays the current location of the orcs army. Wolf pushes a few buttons from his throne and then projected the destination of the army base on the current route. Predator symbols displayed and then an image of a lizardmen appeared next to the symbols. The large Blackfang Wolf returns to Wolf's side. He gives a pat on the side and continues observing the screen.
Rimuru Village
Rimuru's Village was slowly growing and advancing. After Rimuru returns to his village he provides food and shelter for the orges. Later that night they had a large feast. During this time, Rimuru talks with head Orge and what they plan to do from here.
"We will fight the orcs and avenge our clan. Unfortunately we lack the strength to do so."
"Why not stay here until you recover your strength?" Rimuru asked.
"We are a warrior species. This town would be caught in our revenge. I couldn't ask you or this wonderful town to do that." Benimaru replied.
"I know, however, sooner or later we will all have to confront the orcs."
"Give me some time to think about it." Benimaru replies and slowly walks off.
"It's a good offer, but the decision is ultimately yours." Souie appears from the shadows. Benimaru continues to walk through the town.
Rimuru is enjoying the large feast with the rest of the town. Rimuru saw a couple of the young Goblin playing around and saying something in a different language.
"Hey Chief, what are the young Goblins saying?" Rimuru asked
"They are saying the Devil of Jura." Chief Goblin answered.
"Devil of Jura? I've never heard of it."
"We usually tell stories of the Devil so that children behave and go to bed. We all fear and respect the Devil of Jura." The Chief laughed.
"Tell me more about it."
"What we do know is that he takes the heads of monsters and men and other species. Mostly the strong ones he goes after. This happens in the hotter area of the forest. There are many hostile monsters in those areas. We just stay away from that area." Chief Goblin explained.
"Has the Devil of Jura ever attacked the Goblins?" Rimuru asked.
"No, not that I know of. I've heard he dwells in the hotter parts of the forest far from here. " Chief Goblin answered.
"The Devil of Jura sounds alot like the Predator that I'm familiar with." Rimuru pondered while drinking a drink.
The next day Benimaru meets up with Rimuru to give him an answer. Rimuru could tell that he had a lot on his shoulder and did not want him to regret his decision. Rimuru tells him to call the other orges since this is a very big decision to be made. After the other orges assembly, Rimuru tells them he will give them all names.
"Are you sure you're ok with that?" Shuuna asked
"It's no problem at all. Do you not want a name?"
"It's not that I don't want a name. It can be dangerous if one is not careful." Shuuna replied.
Rimuru proceeds with naming the orges.
lizardmen Domain
The Chief Lizardman has been also monitoring the orcs army movement. He also received word that they took out the Ogre clan and it's not known if there are any survivors.
"Chief, we also bring news about the attack on the orges."
"Speak." Chief Lizardma commanded.
"A group far outside of the village about a company size of orcs were strung upside down and skinned like animals."
"They were what? How many?" The Chief Lizardman stands up from his throne.
"We think it could have been him. The one we heard stories of."
"The Devil of Jura." The Lizard Chief spoke their language.
"What will happen if he attacks us too?" One soldier questioned.
"I thought he was only in the hot areas in the forest?" Another soldier questioned.
"That is why we stayed away from the hot areas,"another one points out.
"I don't want to fight him and the Orc's army as well." Another soldier complained.
The Chief Lizardman slams his trident on the floor to silence everyone in the room. The Chief Lizardman knows that he alone can't defeat the Orc army and they will need help if they are to survive this. The Devil of Jura is an unknown element in this conflict. TheChief does not want to provoke the Devil of Jura either. In the meantime he will send his son out to request aid from the one who tamed the wolffang. He hopes that he will bring back good news.
Rimuru Village
Rimuru in slime form wakes up in Shion lap. After naming all the Ogres he collapsed from magicules exhaustion which put him out for a day. The orges introduce themselves with the names Rimuru gave them. After they introduced themselves, Shion informed Rimuru that it was lunch time and that she prepared a meal for him. Benimaru, Souei and Hakura had a cold sweat after hearing that Shion cooked. Rimuru, excited, turned into his humanoid form and followed Shion to the dining area.
"Benimaru, will you be joining us?" Rimuru asked.
"No, I already ate thank you." Looking away and sipping on his drink.
Shion came back with her dish and placed it in front of Rimuru. Rimuru took one look at the dish and he had a horrified expression. The dish was unappetizing and had a purple ghost looking creature pop out indicating certain death. Just looking at it and he knew for certain he would die if he ate it. He looked over at Benimaru who was still drinking his drink.
"Benimaru, you knew Shion couldn't cook, that's why you didn't say anything." Thinking about himself.
"Forgive me. Rimuru sama, once you understand how terrible her cooking is, you will never want to eat her food again." Benimaru turned away thinking to himself.
Shion was just smiling waiting for Rimuru to dig in.
"Great Sage you gotta help me out of this!" Rimuru pleaded in his head.
"Dig your spoon in, close your eyes and shove it to your right as hard as you can." Great Sage replied.
Rimuru follows Great Sage's instructions. When he opened his eyes, Gobta had a spoonful of Shion's food and turned purple with foam coming out the side of his mouth and fell backward. Rimuru put his hands together as if he was praying, thanking Gobta for his noble sacrifice. Shion looked clueless as to why he fainted
"Shion." Rimuru called out to her.
"Yes?" Shion jumps
"From now on, before you serve your dish, have Benimaru taste it first."
"Rimuru, that's just too cruel." Benimaru replied. Rimuru just stuck his tongue out at Benimaru for payback.
A moment later Rimuru received word that the lizardmen were here to see him. The orges went with Rimuru and were curious as to what they had to say. Upon arrival the Lizardman Gabu was looking down on Rimuru because he was a slime. Rimuru looked over at Benimaru and Suoei who had an expression of "Can I please kill him for you." Shion tightened her grip while holding Rimuru.
Predator Base of Operation
It was late in the afternoon and Wolf was sitting in the throne with his mask off, going over recent recordings. He came across and watched the recording of Scarface when he went to retrieve his weapon. He saw Rimuru's fight with the Ogres and the different skills and abilities he had. Wolf continues to watch the rest of the recording. Afterwards he rewinds the playback to when Rimuru displayed his black flame to the orges. Wolf pressed a few buttons on his throne and zoomed in on Rimuru. He then presses a few more buttons to switch to a few modes. Once he found the mode he was looking for, he took Rimuru readings. The readings were very high. Wolf calls forth Scar and Scarface. They both had their masks off and entered the room. They saw the playback and looked at each other. They both walk up to the side of Wolf to get a closer look at the readings. They both see Rimuru readings that are higher than anything else in the forest.
"Is he the one?" Scarface asked.
"Possibility very high." Wolf replied.
"Magicus very high." Scar commented.
Wolf thinks back before they came to this world and what sign to look for. There was a beeping sound that went off in the room. Wolf pulls up the map on the screen and it triangulates in the forest. The triangle was moving slowly. Wolf pushes a few buttons and zooms in a few times showing Treyni walking in one direction and talking with one of her familiars in the forest that brings her information.
"Yes, I will ask the master of the village. It is unfortunate what happened to the orges."
"What about the Devil of Jura? Will he help us?" Ask the little familiar.
"I'm not sure. I only met him recently and I still don't have a way to contact him. He left this behind but I don't know how this works. He was the one that informed me about the Orc Lord." Treyni replied.
Wolf close the screen and his chair rotates 180 degrees
"Suit up." Wolf commanded as he stood up and walked away from his throne.
He grabs his mask, combi spear, shurikens and other gear. In addition he puts on a little more armor than before. (AVP Wolf lV526 attire) (Scar AVP Dark attire) Wolf, Scarface and Scar head outside and into the forest.
Somewhere in Jura Forest Treyni's current location
The little sphere Treyni was holding began to light up and beep slowly. She looks at it and it continues to beep slowly. Elsewhere the Predators were traveling through the Forest heading straight for Treyni position with incredible speed. The beeping was picking up pace and a new alien symbol appeared more and the beeping noise became more frequent. After the symbols made a long beep noise the Predators appeared in front of Treyni. The little familiar hid behind Treyni. She commanded the familiar to continue to observe the forest and sent it on its way. She looked at the little sphere and looked at the Predators. She gave it a press and there was a long beep noise and Wolf's eyes on his mask lit up.
"Is this a way of contacting you?" Treyni asked. Wolf simply gave a nod.
"I see. I have received word that the one known as Rimuru the slime is having a meeting about the Orc's army. This would be a good time to inform them about what I know about the situation and.."
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Voice mimic from Scar.
Before she even finishes explaining, the Predators walk over to her side.
*Predator Crackling Noise*
"Oh, I see. So you intend to meet him as well. This makes things easier."
In a burst of wind they all disappeared.
Rimuru Village, Conference Room
After receiving a little information about the Orc army, Rimuru decided to hold a meeting about what they should do and find out what the orcs motive is. Shunna asked Souei if he found any clues when he went back to their village.
"There was nothing there when I returned." Souie replied.
"I see. What about the other group that attacked us when we left." Shunna asked.
"They were skinned and hung upside down from the trees." Souie replied.
"Then this confirms that the Devil of Jura was there that night we were attacked but he was supposed to be in the hot area of the forest." Benimaru confirmed.
"Yes, but we don't know if that was just a coincidence or not. Also we don't know if the Devil will help us or attack us while fighting the orcs." Hakura points out.
"Well he did help us twice already. Maybe we can become allies with him?" Shuuna also points out.
"We can address our concerns with the Devil of Jura later. Let's get back on topic." Benimaru informs them.
"Shuuna, what was Souei looking for back in your village?" Rimuru asked.
"Corpses." Shunna replied.
"Not a single one was left behind in the village. Ogres and orcs." Souie added.
"I was wondering how they are feeding such a large army. They are not known for having any leaders or to be this organized." Benimaru
"Then that means their next meal will be the lizardmen. So they are looking to gather their strength and make it their own. Perhaps they won't come over to our village after all." Rimuru concludes.
Souie received a message from one of his clones.
"Rimuru-sama, a dyrid, wishes to speak with you." Souie informed him.
"Hoo, a beautiful onee-san wants to speak with me. I wonder what she wants to talk about." Rimuru thought to himself.
"She is also the one known as the manager of the forest." Souie informed Rimuru.
"Alright tell her I will speak with her and ask her.." before he could even finish a large gust of wind and smoke entered the conference room from the widow and Treyni made her appearance.
Everyone was bewildered by Treyni's beautiful appearance. She appears at the opposite side of the conference table with double the doors behind her and smoke still there.
"Mufufu. So you're the little master I heard so much about." Treyni walks towards Rimuru and leans over.
"I'm Rimuru, the master of this village. How may I be of assistance."
"Rimuru san, I have a favor to ask of you. I wish for you to suppress the opposing Orc threat ." Treyni requested.
"Treyni san, wouldn't it have been better to ask the stronger species of the forest?" Benimaru asked her.
"If the Ogre tribe had not fallen I would have gone there first. If they invade the dyrid area, we will not have the strength to fight them off with their numbers. That is why I seek strength from the strong." Treyni replied.
"So you wish for me to get involved with suppressing orcs? That is a lot to ask from me, a mire slime? I have others that depend on me and their safety comes first. We also don't know if there is an Orc lord involved in this matter. I asked that you give me some time." Rimuru replied to Treyni's request.
Treyni had informed Rimuru that the Orc Lord has indeed been born and is leading the Orc army. Treyni also went over the skill he uses, a skill similar to Rimuru's Predator skill but it has a lower success rate, however if multiple people use it, then it will increase. She informed him the reason for the Orc Lord is likely due to a Demon Lord meddling around. Rimuru thought the orcs wouldn't find him appetizing since he is a slime.
"The Orc Lord will eventually become a demon lord. This matter is something that even you can't ignore. I will ask you again. Will you suppress the Orc Lord?" Treyi smiled.
"Of course he will do it. The orcs are nothing compared to Rimuru sama." Shion proudly proclaims. Rimuru looks at her with shock and disbelief.
"Of all times you choose to be a secretary, you do it now. Good grief. Well let's not disappoint her faith in me." Rimuru thought to himself.
"Alright, I will suppress the Orc Lord. I will need more allies since we are greatly outnumbered." Rimuru points out.
"Yes, I believe the lizardmen would make a good addition to your forces."
"Well, one of their subordinates came by earlier today to offer an alliance, however his negotiation skills were not that impressive. I hope they send someone more capable next time to negotiate." Rimuru explained.
"Yes he was quite full of himself, but worry not, there will be additional allies assisting you in the upcoming battle." Treyni sipping on some tea.
"Really? That is very reassuring coming from you, Treyni-san. I just hope they are more promising than what the lizardmen display."
"Well, why don't you ask them yourself." Treyni smiles and continues with her tea.
"Eh? Them?" Rimuru sounded confused. Treyni was silent while sipping her tea but pointed behind him.
Around the same time he was turning his head, the smoke in the room was clearing up and three red dots appeared on his chest. Everyone in the room stood up. *Decloaking SFX* Scarface appeared from the right side of the room.
"The Devil of Jura!" Everyone speaks their native language. Scarface turned his attention to the left.
*Decloaking SFX* Scar appears on the left side holding his combi spear like a staff.
"There's another one!" Benimaru points out. Scar turned his head to the right, looking to the center of the room.
*Decloaking SFX* Wolf appears in the middle holding his non extended combi spear and is the one aiming at Rimuru, then deactivates it.
*Predator crackling noise*
"Eh? Ehhhh! There are three of them!" Rimuru and everyone in the room was in complete shock. Treyni just gave a small playful laugh.
"I was just as surprised as you are when I first met them. They will be assisting you in the upcoming battle." As she walked to the middle where Wolf was standing.
"Treyni san, it's dangerous over there!" Gobta shouts out.
"It's quite alright, I can assure you." she smiled. Rimuru slowly walks towards Wolf.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Voice mimic from Scar. Everyone in the room started chatting in disbelief of what they heard.

Scanning… Scan Complete.

Magicus Readings: Extremely high.
Armor: Blessing of the Dragon.

"Please wait Rimuru-sama. Let's see if they are worthy to be your allies." Shion said being prideful.
"Oh my." Treyni covered her mouth.
"Shion! I know you just got your name and evolved into an Oni, but aren't you being a bit overconfident here? One of them wiped out most of the orcs single handedly and he is not even named." Rimaru thought to himself with a disbelief expression.
"You there, the one with the red line on your mask! I will test you personally!" Shion points at Scarface with a smile. The room went quiet for a second.
"Shion!" Everyone shouts.
Scarface snaps his head in Shion's direction. Shion was just smiling. Scarface slowly walks towards Shion. Rimuru is hoping Shion didn't piss him off. Scarface was standing a few feet from Shion and was towering over her.

*Predator crackling sound*.Shion was still smiling. Rimuru and everyone was feeling a little tense.
*Hahahaha. I promise you a night to remember, baby didn't I?" Voice Mimic.*
Scarface begins to walk to the exit of the room and turns around to face Shion. He motioned with his head to "follow him" outside where they will have more room. Shion walks towards Scarface passing by Wolf and Treyni and they head outside. Wolf, Scar, Treyni and everyone else followed them outside.
"Are you sure this is ok?" Rimuru asked Wolf.
Wolf just looked at Rimuru and then at Scarface and Shion. Everyone gathered around the open area and we're whispering. The Predators were on one side and everyone else was on another side. Rimuru walks to the middle where Scarface and Shion were standing.
"Alright this is just a little spar. No killing or causing serious injuries from either of you. Understand?" Looking at both of them.
They both gave a nod. Scarface removes his plasma caster and combi spear.
"You may begin!" Rimuru signals them to begin.
Scarface spar with Shion
Shion charges in with a straight punch. Scarface catches it and holds it with ease. Shion throws a series of punches but Scarface dodge and block them. After another series of punches and kicks Shion landed a solid punch to Scarface's gut causing him to hunch over a bit, the impact created a small shock wave. Shion fist is still in his rock solid abs, Scarface looks at Shion, the eyes on his mask light up. Scarface grabs Shion's arm and then hip tossed her. Shion quickly gets back up ready to continue.
"I see you got some skills. You're pretty good." Shion complements Scarface.
*You're pretty good.* Voice Mimic.
After one block, Scarface actually landed a kick that sent Shion flying back. She gets back up to continue the fight. Shion goes for a straight punch but Scarface steps to the side and turns his body to avoid the strike. Shion passes Scarface and his back is facing her. Shion, falling for the bait, charges in and prepares to strike again. Scarface quickly turns around to redirect her strike and knees her in the gut and then flips her off her feet and on her back.
Scarface displayed impressive hand to hand skills. Shion did her best however she was outmatched. Shion turns on her hands and knees and Scarface walks to her side, picks her up with one arm and throws her into a tree behind her. Scarface still has his grip around her neck but he is not choking her, instead he is holding her up off the ground. Shion's feet were just dangling in the air while she was being held against the tree. Scarface leaned in closer to examine Shion skull just for fun, slowly moving it to the left and then the right. The next moment took everyone by surprise, a loud rumbling noise was heard by everyone in the area. The noise was heard again, Scarface and Shion both looked down at the source of the noise and then looked at each other. Shion's eyes widened and face was turning red from embarrassment. It was her stomach making all the noise. Everyone just started laughing. Scarface released his grip and walked away. Shion sulking started running to Rimuru.
"Waaa! Rimuru sama!" Shion hugging Rimuru.
"There, there, it's ok. You did your best. Let's get you something to eat." while comforting Shion.
*Hahahaha. I promised you a night to remember, baby didn't I?" Voice Mimic.*
"I'd say they definitely proved their worth. Wouldn't you agree with Shion?"
"Yes." Shion agreed.
"Still, that was an impressive display of hand to hand skills. Where did you learn that from? Rimuru asked Scarface. Scarface simply looked in Wolf's direction.
"If you're that good then I can only imagine how good your leader is." Rimuru commented and Scarface gave a slow head nod.
Rimuru walks over to Scar and Wolf. Wolf was currently observing the village and the residents. Wolf notices one of the guards goofing off with their katana. Rimuru just so happens to notice Wolf looking at the katana.
"We leave to take on the Orc Lord in seven days. Can we count on you all to be there?" Rimuru asked them
*Predator Crackling Noise*
Wolf gives a slow head nod.
"I will send a message to the lizard men that meet them in seven days. I must make some preparations. Our goal is to stop the Orc Lord and that should stop the rest of the army." Rimuru informs Wolf.
There was a loud noise behind Rimuru and he looked over to see Shion attempt to pick another fight with Scarface but there were a few people holding her back to stop her. Scarface just looks at her and is playing back her stomach growling of her voice recording and Shion not liking that.
"This isn't over yet!" Shion points at Scarface.
"I see those two are getting along very well. Perhaps we could send them on a mission of some kind later on." Rimuru smirking and plotting.
"Of course he'll do it." Wolf's voice mimics Shion's voice.
"Well, think of this as a cultural exchange between us. When that time comes." Rimuru commented.
Scarface and Treyni made their way to were Wolf and Rimuru were at. Rimuru informs them that they will meet in seven days to attack the Orc Lord. The Predators took off and Rimuru began his preparation. Rimuru stopped by Kuro's shop to ask for a favor.
"Oh Rimuru-sama, what brings you down here?"
"I have a few requests I have for you. Can you have them ready in five days?"
" Consider it done Rimuru-sama."
"How are you liking your shop?"
"It's wonderful, it has everything I need. Ican make things to my heart's content."
"Glad to hear. If you need anything else, just let me know."
"Thank you again Rimuru-sama."
Lizardmen area
The chief of the lizardmen was waiting patiently in his chair for news about the alliance. The other lizardmen were making their own preparation for the upcoming confrontation with the orcs. There were also concerns about the Demon of Jura and here he stands with this war.
"Chief, there is someone here to see you. He brings word from the one name Rimuru." A soldier report.
"Show him in." The Chief replied.
Souie makes his way into the room. The Chief was surprised to see that an Ogre survived after hearing that their tribe was wiped out.
"Greetings Chief I am Souie, subordinate to Rimuru sama. I've come to pass a message from him."
"What is his message?"
"Hold off your attack for seven days against the Orc."
"We will hold them off for seven days. I heard that the Ogres were wipe out how did you survive?"
"A few of us were able to survive thanks to the Devil of Jura. I am also no longer an Ogre but an Oni."
Small chatter about the Devil of Jura.
"An Oni? That is a very rare species indeed. The one who blessed you with a name must be an even greater monster.
"He is a slime monster."
There was a bit of chatter in the room when they found out that Rimuru was a slime. The guards were looking down on Rimuru and Souie nearly took one of their heads off for their disrespect. The Chief intervenes and apologizes for his subordinates behavior.
"The request for the Orc Lord's also comes from the manager of the forest." Souie informed the Chief.
"The manager of the forest personally asked him? That is not a name that anyone can throw around. If she asked him then he must be powerful."
"I'm glad you understand."
"Finally some hope for us."
"My master also wanted me to pass on a message, to watch your back."
"I will be sure to do so. Thank you for your warning."
Souie began to head out the room when he had one last thing to pass.
"Oh, before I forget there was one last thing I forgot to mention." turns around and faces the chief.
"The Devil of Jura will also be joining the battle."
The Chief's eyes widened with the shocking news he just received.
"Wait, is he also a subordinate as well?"
"No, he is not." Souie replied and left.
The Chief sat in his chair, processing the news he received. The Devil of Jura is also involved in the battle of the forest. To think that he would get involved means that there is a good chance the forest will pull through. The Chief continued with his preparation. Over the next couple of days the lizardmen would defend their home with their lives by engaging in defensive tactics and formation. During this Gabiru is unsure why his father chose to not go on the offense. They are the proud lizardmen and they should show the orcs what they are capable of doing. A strange man dressed up in a clown shows up and talks with him.
"Your father must have lost his warrior spirit over the ages."
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean if someone else was to lead them, I'm sure they could end this battle in no time, but that's just me."
The clown did make sense in Gabirus mind. The only thing he has been doing is defending these last few days.
"My father has grown old in his age. I will do what I must to ensure we see this through and bring glory to the lizard men. Gabiru heads out to confront his father.
"Good luck out there Gabiru san." Clown.
Little did Gabiru know that he was being used and would bring danger to his people.
Predator Base
The Predators were making their own preparation for the upcoming battle. After meeting Rimuru and speculating his power, Wolf believes he may be the one and will have an answer after this battle with the orcs. He decided to continue to observe him in the meantime. Scar was building new suits and gear specializing in a wider range of attacks. Scar had built a few prototype weapons that could take out a much larger crowd. He had a few plasmacaster to try out. Scarface attaches one of the prototype plasmacaster for a trial run. The plasma caster built up slowly and then went off. A powerful line is shot, leaving a trail of fire behind. This plasma caster was like a rail gun. Scar suggests he add a little magicus to it and see what happens. Scarface goes for another test run. This time the charge up was quicker and the shot was farther and more destructive. Scar and Scarface continue with their run throughs.
Meanwhile Wolf was up stairs monitoring the activity with the lizardmen and orcs. So far the lizardmen are holding out. If the lizardmen can maintain this pace they will see this through. Wolf pushes a few buttons and then heads downstairs to where Scar and Scarface were at. Wolf gave them an update on the battle and asked about the progress on the gear and weapons for the upcoming battle. They inform Wolf that the gear and weapons are in the final stage of preparation and will be ready for the battle ahead. Wolf picks up his trusty whip and examines it for a bit then runs a little magicules through it. The next item he picks up is his combi spear. He extends it and powers it with lighting and the spear is now electrifying. He throws it at a cave wall. There was a massive discharge and a huge crater in the wall. Wolf extends his hand and summons the combi spear back to him. He catches it and twirls it around before collapsing it.

Chapter 3 Preview
Lizardmen village
The chief, his daughter and a few other lizardmen were captured by Gabiru. Gabiru disregards his father's warning about the orc lord choosing to go on the offense. The orcs have now invaded their domain and the lizardmen risk extinction if they lose this war. The chief has not given up hope and sends his daughter out to find Rimuru.
"Daughter, the hope of the lizardmen rests with you. You must go and find Rimuru."
"Yes father. I will make haste."
An Orc soldier enters the room and slaughters two lizardmen.
"Go! I will hold him off!"
The Chief's daughter takes off and heads into the forest. High up in the trees, Scar sees the Chief's daughter running from the palace and into the forrest.

The Forest
The Chief's daughter is trapped by a group of orcs. The leader of the Orc toys with her as she is no match for him. The chief's daughter is breathing heavily. She looks up and barely sees three red lines aimed down on one of the unsuspecting orcs.
