The Bonds That Tie

Ten days had gone by since Harry took on a wildcat in the back woods of Malfoy Manor just to feed, but as he and the others had suspected; it didn't even get him through the night. By dinner time; Harry was right back to wanting blood. For a couple days, Harry would come out and sit with everyone; it was very clear the need for blood was taking over because of the redness of his eyes, gone were the green irises and instead the scarlet red of a predator stared back at the others. Harry's eyes normally went back to green after feeding and only went red when he was furious or hungry. Severus did return on Saturday, the 21st with Harry and Draco's things from Hogwarts. Meanwhile, Lucius had gone to the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement to report Albus Dumbledore's transgressions against Harry's person. Though there was an absence of proof, he believed Albus might have been responsible for the poisoning of Draco's blood, and how it magically linked to all members of his family. Excluding Bellatrix because she was technically a wanted criminal. The report was to be added to the already on-going investigation on Dumbledore. Lucius returned home afterwards to ask how Harry was, and was told that he was mainly keeping to himself. Today marked it being New Year's Eve and the last time anyone had seen Harry was on Christmas morning; he came down to celebrate with his adoptive family, the Death eaters, Voldemort, and Severus. Harry had tried to enjoy it with his family, but once presents had been opened; he thanked them and quickly took refuge in his room and had thus since locked himself in.

"He hasn't hunted since the 20th…" Narcissa frowned.

"We don't know that; he could be going out at night and hunting to avoid us seeing," Lucius offered to his worried wife.

"No, he's just refusing to feed off of animals because he knows it's pointless." Draco remarked. "It works in a tight spot, but he's been on nothing but human blood for almost a year. Even as an emergency form of blood; it's not enough. You saw the size of that wildcat on the 20th, an animal of that size being sucked dry should have held Harry's hunger at bay for, at least, twenty-four hours and it did nothing."

"I have to agree with Draco," Bellatrix nodded. "And he won't give into feeding on a muggle?"

"He detests the idea of it. Finds it absolutely revolting," Draco sighed. "This is exactly how he was when I found him last April. Locked away in a room to keep himself from losing control…"

"You've said that he went eight months from the last human blood feeding at the point you helped him, didn't we?" Voldemort inquired.

"Yes, but he'd been using animal blood every couple of days to satiate the hunger; it only got him close to bloodlust because he hadn't been able to go out and hunt with the castle so empty." Draco clarified. "I asked Harry how long he'd gone without animal blood next time he fed from me a couple days after the first one; he told me it'd been a month until I came through that day."

"So it took a month for him to get to that state?" Severus questioned. Draco nodded and bit his lip slightly in worry.

"And…How long has it been since you fed him this time around. You mentioned on the 20th that it had been several weeks?" Corban Yaxley asked.

"The last time Harry fed from me was at school and that was…" Draco had to pause to think back. "Sometime in the beginning of November? I believe, maybe, the 6th?"

"Next week marks the 6th of January and that means it's been nearly two months since he fed?" Narcissa said softly while looking aghast at the notion of someone going so long without food even if said someone was a vampire.

"Why so long, Draco? I thought you were feeding him every week?" Severus wondered.

"Things just kept happening, Uncle Sev. We kept putting it off and that troublesome Weasley bint was aggravating Harry to no end." Draco scoffed.

"Ginerva?" Lucius arched a brow while Narcissa admonished her son for his crude language.

"She's convinced herself that she and Harry will be perfectly happy together once he stops deluding himself with the idea of being gay. She doesn't believe he is, so she's always trying to spend time with him, touch him. According to Harry she'd followed him everywhere when not in classes, and even attempted breaking into his bedroom. It's starting to get stalker-like and creepy." Draco explained. "Why Potter hasn't hexed her yet all the way into the Great Lake is a mystery to me. Though that might traumatize the Giant Squid."

"There's no question in Harry being into men?" Voldemort asked. "No reason the girl would believe that Harry isn't gay because he hasn't been seen involved with a male?"

"I suppose it's possible that she thinks Harry isn't gay because he's not seen actively advertising it, but that shouldn't matter." Draco shrugged. "He's definitely only interested in males and that bloody harpy needs to get her head on straight,"

"No one is doubting his preferences, we're just wondering if the girl has found a reason to not believe it and so she believes she has a chance." Voldemort stated.

"I know." Draco replied sounding somewhat aggravated by that whole situation. "Either way…I'm more worried about my brother, who hasn't eaten in weeks and probably getting pretty close to the blood-crazed state."

"I know we can't feed him because of the toxic blood, but what about one of the others?" Bellatrix suggested. "There's eleven others here who aren't affected by it. Twelve if you include yourself, my lord,"

"Harry is very likely not to accept feeding from me. Plus, I think there's a scent factor." Voldemort reminded. "I'm assuming he looks for certain things in the blood he takes in if he goes by scents to determine who has good blood."

"And that day he showed up here back in August…He didn't really have eyes for anyone except Draco, but after him Lucius and…" Narcissa paused. "And you, Severus." All those present now turned to look at the resident Potions Master who frowned.

The potions master turned his head towards his godson's mother, arching a brow in question at the fact she called him out. "Excuse me?"

"You're right!" Draco exclaimed. "Uncle Sev…The only blood he wanted that day was either myself, father's…And yours."

"I do hope you're not suggesting what I think you are, Draco…" Severus glared at the boy. "Mister Potter and I hardly get along. The boy would be loath to aim for my blood."

"You're not affected by the blood toxicity and your blood is basically the trifecta of vampire yumminess. That being blood that will satiate, tastes great, and powerful for him to take in…You could feed him…" Draco said calmly. "Plus…He wouldn't want to kill you. Your blood is like gold to him…" He snickered.

"Vampire yumminess?" Lucius mouthed silently towards his wife who just tried to hide a snort.

"I will n-," Severus started.

"Sirius," Narcissa said quickly as her cousin's portrait-self returned to the frame set in the room they were in. "How's Harry?"

"Getting worse, I can't tell if it's because he's going into blood rage or if-," Sirius trailed off.

"If he's dying…?" Lucius inquired and Sirius nodded once.

"Last I saw he's huddled in a dark corner of his room, shaking." Sirius informed.

Just like that, all eyes were on Severus. "You cannot be serious for me to go up there and let him feed from me?"

"It's just as Draco said; your blood hits all the markers that Harry needs, Severus…" Rodolphus mentioned. "And he's clearly not going to go much longer without feeding."

"Severus…Help him." Voldemort said calmly.

"I've done enough over the years." Severus folded his arms over one another.

"Indeed you have and I've chosen to not punish you for helping the boy I was trying to actively kill. You swore loyalty to me and you were helping my enemy…" Voldemort reminded. "All those years you spent protecting a boy you claimed to hate because he's the spitting image of one of your bullies, and now when he is in trouble; you refuse?"

"This is different," Severus argued.

"It is not," Draco remarked.

"The boy's life is at risk and you saving it?" Voldemort inquired. "So it wasn't you muttering that counter curse on the jinxed broom in first year during the quidditch match? Wasn't it you who unknowingly taught him the disarming charm in the dueling club during second year. You didn't put yourself between a werewolf and Harry in third year? You didn't ensure the Gillyweed was accessible to Harry's house-elf friend, who gave it to my undercover Alastor Moody as Barty Crouch Jr? You didn't contact Grimmauld Place when Harry was seeing visions of Sirius being tortured, or alert the Order when Umbridge took Harry and that Granger girl into the forest and they didn't return?" Voldemort asked as his eyes narrowed at the other man.

"I was doing my job as a teacher…" Severus stated calmly. "And your spy, knowing you wanted him alive to kill him yourself."

"How is that so when you were protecting him from all my attempts to kill him?" Voldemort asked. "No? Let's try this then…When I said I'd kill the boy as a baby, you didn't run to Dumbledore to protect Lily and her family?" Severus flinched. "You changed sides and only returned here to spy for Albus and keep Harry safe. Then you saw Albus was a manipulative old fool and understood that I simply wanted to rid the world of people like him."

"Are you going to kill me if I admit to it?" Severus asked.

"No, all will be forgiven if you go up there and do what you've always done, Severus, out of your undying love for Lily. Save Harry." Voldemort ordered.

"He'll either die from refusal to give in and find a muggle, or he'll lose himself to bloodlust and go out to feed without his humanity; probably end up killing someone then. Which will give the Ministry just enough justification to want him caught and culled." Lucius stated.

"Severus, please?" Sirius hoped. "It's killing him…You know I loathe to beg anything of you given our history but I can't watch him suffer more. Please save him? Do it for Lily…And the life debt you owe James!" Severus stiffened. "James saved your life, you owe him. And you swore on Lily's body that night in Godric's Hollow you'd always protect her son." Severus stared at Sirius's photo. "Her son is right upstairs. Help him…Save him, please?"

Severus sighed. "Fine…What must I do?"

"Give him your wrist," Draco stated. "Bottom up, like this," He showed his godfather with his own. "He's either gonna take it right away, or hold back and fight it out of believing he might hurt you." He informed. "If he refuses, just slightly slice your wrist to bring the blood out and tell him it's okay. Be gentle. You have to stay calm or he'll pick up on the fear or uncertainty and push you away." Draco explained. "It won't hurt, Uncle Severus. I promise. There's a pinprick when his fangs break the skin, but it'll fade and you won't feel anything. And he won't drain you, no matter how hungry he is."

"Very well…" Severus turned and headed for the stairs.

"His room is right across from mine!" Draco called. Severus kept walking and eventually disappeared from sight. "This is gonna be interesting…" He chuckled.

"Why?" Lucius inquired.

"Don't worry about it," Draco smiled.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy…" His mother gave the warning tone. "Do you know something that we don't?"

"I just know Harry's been itching for Uncle Sev's blood since that day in August. It's pure virgin blood…" Draco informed.

. . .

Severus reached the second floor and instantly located his godson's room, then turned to face the one across from it. Severus approached the door and knocked lightly. "Potter?" No response. "Potter, it's Professor Snape." Still no answer, but Severus could hear him inside the room. He pointed his wand at the door and unlocked it, then turned the handle and pushed the door open, it creaked slightly. The room was dark as Severus traipsed inside slowly, finding Harry huddled in the corner, shaking. Just as Sirius said he was. "Harry…"

"Have you come to tell me it's safe to feed from Draco yet?" Harry asked.

"I'm afraid not." Severus stated as he bent the knee to not be hovering over the clearly agitated and starved vampire.

"Then you may go, Professor…" Harry told him. "I want to be alone."

"I'm here to help," Severus informed briskly.

"And how do you intend to do that…" Harry questioned, raising his head to show his red eyes.

Severus unclasped the buttons to his black sleeve and pulled it back, then repeated the same action with the white shirt that was under the black one. Severus moved closer to Harry and set out his wrist in front of him. "You need to feed."

"You're offering? You seemed pretty against it a couple months ago…" Harry remarked, his eyes were as scarlet as blood yet he perked up as he focused on the veins in his professor's arms and neck. Unconsciously he licked his lips, letting Severus get a peek of a fang.

"It's not an easy thought to settle with when you're told openly a vampire wants to suck your blood." Severus stated, trying not to make it seem that he was nervous.

"Professor, you should get out of here," Harry announced as his vampiric instincts started to take over with a warm body in the room. The hunger burned in his throat and the beating of Snape's heart so near to him did nothing to dissuade him from jumping the Potions Master. "You don't want me feeding from you in this state…You don't know what your blood's scent alone is doing to me. Leave, this is your only warning…"

"Mister Potter, you will feed tonight one way or another." Snape uttered. How dare this boy argue with him when he was trying to help? Why would he refuse blood when he knew he needed it? This time, Severus made a mistake he didn't realize by using his wand to cut his arm just enough for blood to seep out. Harry reacted right away, the scent of virgin blood hitting his nose and leaning closer to the man. Severus instantly felt like something had shifted the energy of the room.

"Is that a promise?" Harry asked as he unconsciously added a seductive tilt to his voice. Severus shivered as Harry leaned forward on his arms, eyeing not Snape's arm but his neck.

"You will die or succumb to bloodlust if you don't," Snape answered, though he was loath to admit that Harry's tone unnerved him quite a bit. "It's imperati-AGH!" He was cut off when Harry jumped him and slammed him into the wooden floor.

"Tell me, Professor," Harry was too close to his ear. The hot breath ghosted over Snape as the vampire nuzzled his neck. "Have you ever been lost in the throes of pleasure?"

"Y-You know my answer," Snape managed to ground out. He was certain it became public knowledge to the Malfoy's, the dark lord, and the death eaters that Severus was a virgin. His breath hitched as Harry's hands started to wander. A fingernail became sharp and easily slit away the multitude of remaining buttons down the front of the man's black jacket he always wore.

"Much better…" Harry smirked as red eyes looked at their prey. Severus held his breath; he noted that this was a vampire already in bloodlust. Emphasis on lust. "But you didn't answer my question,"

"No…." Severus ended up breathlessly saying as more of his clothing was easily being ripped off, leaving Severus in his underwear, completely unable to fight Harry's strength. "Do you make it a habit of playing with your food?" He had to add.

Harry merely gave him this smirk before responding, "Where's the fun in just getting into it? I enjoy the workup…I believe it's referred to as foreplay and I do so want to play with you, Severus…" The seductive tone made the potion's master hold his breath. Harry nipped at Snape's inner thigh. The older man hissed as blood was drawn. How had the boy even divested him of his robes so quickly he absentmindedly wondered, though that was food for thought for another time. More nips followed, more blood drawn and Snape moaned as Harry's fangs carried that incredible pleasured sensation through his system. Severus let out a very unmanly squawk as Harry's inhuman strength lifted him up from the floor and deposited him on the bed. The bedsprings creaked as Harry seductively crawled over Severus's torso, nipping and licking his way upwards. Then before Snape could protest his lips were caught in a brutal kiss, fangs pierced his lip and Harry lapped up the blood droplets.

"I can't wait to taste you…I'm going to savor this." Harry muttered under his breath.

"Oh Merlin. I really am going to be a snack," Snape exclaimed as Harry copped a feel, eliciting another moan.

"You're going to be the an entire buffet, with dessert…!" Harry happily informed, staring into Severus's eyes. "Can I play with you, Professor?" Severus only managed a nod to Harry, who then contently recaptured the potions master's lips with his own.

. . .

Hours later, Harry was not only fed fully, but knocked out asleep and holding a death grip around Severus. The man laid awake, staring at the ceiling as his mind went over the events that just took place. Severus had only come upstairs at everyone's insistence to feed Harry before he did something out of his control and ended up hurting someone and it turned into Harry having his way with Severus, not that Severus stopped the vampire. No, Severus eventually fell into things when Harry's fangs sunk into his neck and he started drinking a bit. The feeling was indescribable, but it got Severus to relax fully and go along with what was taking place. Harry's warning should have registered and Severus should have left. Harry warned that Severus didn't know what he was doing by offering himself, what his blood was causing Harry to do.

It had been entirely true. Severus let the acceptance hit that he had sex with Harry, and it was technically his own fault that it happened. Harry gave him multiple warnings and opportunities to get out of it and Severus, while still unaffected by the pleasurable effect of Harry biting him, never spoke a word. Harry was the one in control, and Severus let him. Harry, of course, fed between things happening and it was always on Severus's neck. The entire event had been more than enjoyable, Severus couldn't even try to feel otherwise about it. At the same time; the reality hit Severus that he was still Harry's teacher and he'd just had sex with a student. If it ever got out; Severus was going right to Azkaban. Severus was conflicted on where things went from there; surely, it was just the one time? After the toxic blood situation cleared up, Harry could go back to feeding from Draco. No, this wouldn't happen again. No matter how utterly amazing it had been. Severus turned his head to look at Harry, seeing how peaceful he looked. Finally, the potions master drifted to sleep.
