Percy vs Thaila

Waking up in the morning was always a chore. It was easier back home in New York with my mom waking me up early with smell of blue breakfast wafting around the apartment. I can't say it's the same at the Fifth Cohort, as everyone got up earlier than usual. Patrol squads were smaller this time around and the seats at the coliseum were first come first serve. As you can imagine, that meant pure chaos within the barracks. The last day of the tournament was here.

I woke up sleeping on my sword arm as a pool of drool damped my pillow. Not a good way to start the day.

I got up from my bed and saw so many campers trying to freshen up and get ready for morning. One of them stepped on my foot by accident too. It was that serious. Thank the gods I took a shower the night before as the line to barrack showers was as long as the line to enter the coliseum. Being the final day was one thing, but having the Olympians present as well was something else.

I got dressed and headed out the door quickly knowing who stood outside. Annabeth was drinking some tea from the café near Temple Hill. She must've started her day way earlier than the rest of us.

Annabeth was kitted for war. With multiple knives on her person and a long imperial gold knife on her hip. She only had armor on her chest and shins for lightweight aggression. Her match came up second after mine and her opponent was Jason of all people. She can't beat him in a tank top.

Annabeth gave me a weird look before laughing. I was confused until I looked down and saw some drool on my Camp Half-blood shirt.

I cleaned it up quickly before anybody else saw as Annabeth held my hand. The hand that wasn't drenched in drool.

"I'm guessing you had a rough night?" Annabeth asked with a smile. "Any Gods or Goddesses confront you in a dream?"

I shook my head. "No, I just didn't get enough sleep, and you're one to talk after that match with Clarisse." I looked down at her right hand and saw her balancing both her tea and a bagel.

I scoffed at her. "So, you didn't get anything for me. Even though I'm the first match up."

I thought shades of guilt would appear on Annabeth's face, but she still was smiling.

"I thought you would like the cookies they had, but they weren't blue, so I didn't buy any." Annabeth smirked.

I rolled my eyes before she pulled out a bagel for me. I ate it all on our way towards the coliseum. The number of people walking about the forum was unreal. There was Greeks and Romans conversing with each other and having a good time. It was only going to get better when the event starts.

We reached the coliseum and walked up the staircase reaching the viewing area. It was full of so many campers this time around. Roman and Greek campers were watching from the balconies, using the practice range, and just talking with each other. The viewing area looked beautiful before, but it really shined with a bigger group of people.'

"Frank invited all the centurions to stay here for the day." Annabeth chimed in. "Chiron agreed and a invited a select number of campers from Camp Half-blood as well."

Annabeth wasn't lying as I saw some old faces from Camp partying it up with legionnaires. Nyssa from Hephaestus cabin was talking to son of Hebe, Paolo. Lou Ellen, who was the head counselor of Hecate's cabin was showing Hazel some type of new magic. The day just started, and everyone was having a good time.

"That's not the only reason they invited all these people" Annabeth added as she pointed to the crowd.

I looked out the window and saw the packed coliseum. Every seat was taken, and hundreds of people gathered. Demigods, Lares, Legacies, and more cheered for the favorite demigod to win it all. I heard cheers for Reyna, Kahale, Jason, and even some for myself. Others cheered for the Gods as they had yet to make an appearance.

I was awestruck from it all. We had a lot of issues and problems over the last two days. From the army of monsters to Kahale's revolution and so much more. None of that mattered. This feeling and adrenaline was worth it all. I got to thank the praetors when I see them.

I turned around to get Annabeth's reaction and saw her talking with Calypso instead. Calypso saw me approach and greeted me before reaching in for a hug. I'm glad things weren't awkward anymore between us. Leo was always right for her, and Annabeth was right for me.

"So, where's Leo. I still can't believe I missed his match."

Calypso's smile turned to a smirk as she pointed to one of the corners of the room. All by his lonesome was Leo Valdez, as he tinkered with a device with his head hanging low. You can see the anguish on his face as he took his time with his device, which was a first for him.

"He didn't take his lost to Nico well, did he?" Annabeth asked.

Calypso shook his head. "He had a real plan against him and everything. I trained him the best I could without Clarisse. I tried to make him feel better last night, but he's going to be like this for a while."

I walked past both Annabeth and Calypso and reached Leo in his corner. I said hey a few times before Leo lifted his head up.

Leo had two fingers close to each other in a pinching position. "I was this close, Percy. Imagine the look on everyone's face if I made top 8. I would've shocked everyone."

I picked Leo up. "I wouldn't be shocked, man. You're top 8 material. You beat Old Dirt Face while I was having a nosebleed, remember?" I asked Leo.

Leo tossed his device in the trash and started over with a new one. He really was in a funk.

"I know I'm awesome, you don't have to remind me."

Jason came out of nowhere and put his arm around Leo's shoulder. He was armored up with gold plating and a cape. The cape was purple was orange lining. Representing both camps.

Jason smirked at Leo. "You fought Nico Di Angelo to a standstill. You did good, repair boy."

Leo softened up up a little, but the air of disappointment was still there. He might be a bigger perfectionist than Annabeth.

Leo put his hands in the air before walking off. "No offense but being comforted by the two strongest dudes in the tournament isn't making feel any better. I think I'll just reconfigure Festus for the millionth time today."

Leo walked away towards the practice range. I can't say we didn't try.

"He'll get over it soon." Calypso said before turning towards the rest of us. "Those who made top 8 are supposed to be in the arena you know. Hurry before Chiron starts looking for you guys."

We said goodbye to Calypso and made our way downstairs. The doors opened and we made our way towards the center of the arena. While going down the stairs. I talked with Annabeth.

"So did you think about your wish?" Annabeth asked.

I knew this was on her mind. Victoria was offering up a wish granted by the Gods of Olympus. Annabeth waited for my answer as her grey eyes bore into me.

I never really thought about my wish. Hades, I never even thought that deeply about the tournament. I never wanted to enter it in the first place, but the wish granted by the Gods wasn't something to disregard. You only get that type of gift by winning an end of the world type of war, and now I only had to win a few more matches to get that ultimate reward. I was giving it my all in the matches before, but I was just having fun. Maybe I should put a little more effort into this now that it was getting harder.

I gave Annabeth a non-answer. "My wish isn't immortality if that's what you're thinking." I spoke.

Annabeth smirked. "Of course not, let me tell you mine."

Annabeth came close and whispered it in my ear. For dramatic effect really. There wasn't anybody listening in, but Jason was curious.

I gave her kiss on the cheek after and laughed. "Ok, I'm stealing that idea and winning it for you."

Annabeth punched me in the shoulder. "I don't need your help, Seaweed Brain. I'll win it for the both of us."

Jason coughed loudly. I guess we were getting too cocky for our own good.

We reached the bottom of the stairwell and opened the door.

The sound was deafening as hundreds of campers all clapped and yelled for us. I couldn't believe my eyes to the number of people in the stands. Seeing them all in the viewing area was one thing, but when all of them are looking at you with smiles on their face? It was all priceless.

Chiron had a microphone for once. He had to retire that horn he used yesterday. He couldn't compete with the crowd.

He asked everyone to quiet down before speaking. "Demigods of both Camp Half-blood and Camp Jupiter. I welcome you all to the final day of the Ludi Decem Tournament!"

The crowd soared in excitement. They were so loud that I didn't even notice the people next to me. Nico, Reyna, Clarisse, and even Kahale were all standing in rows next to Annabeth, and Jason, and I. Someone nudged me from behind and I turned to see Thalia in her traditionally hunter's garb. No Death to Barbie shirt or black skirt. Only the silver circlet on her head stood out.

"Ready for the beating of a lifetime, Seaweed Brain?" Thalia yelled despite the crowd.

"This isn't Capture the Flag anymore and there isn't an Oracle to stop us this time."

"Really?" Thalia said in a faked shock. "I guess if we brought that redheaded oracle then you would be easily distracted."

I was about to laugh until I saw the hard stare of Annabeth right next to me, so I shut up quickly.

Chiron pointed to tall regal seats that stood above him. "The fighting spirit of the top 8 has even reached Mount Olympus itself. The Gods of Olympus are more than pleased with the matches so far. So, the Olympians have chosen to watch and judge the remaining matches."

The moment Chiron said that, the seats above him shimmered brightly until thirteen beings appeared out of nowhere. I was ready to see the Gods, but I wasn't ready for the forms they appeared in.

Each and every Olympian was in their Roman forms. This was the first time I've seen them like this.

Jupiter sat at his throne in the middle. I only met Zeus a few times, and he always wore a suit. Jupiter wasn't in a formal mood like Zeus as he wore a purple toga. His face was stoic in nature and far too serious. It was like his own eyes could smite me out of existence.

Juno wore a blue dress with a goat skinned cloak with multiple necklaces. She smiled at Annabeth and me. I was really hoping that she would appear as an old lady again.

Mars was still wearing the small military outfit he was wearing when I first got to Camp Jupiter. I thought he would do the same thing as Juno and taunt me, but he stared at Clarisse instead. Wonder what's going on with them.

Pluto wasn't a welcomed surprise but a surprise none the less. He wasn't part of the original 12 Olympians, but he still sat among them. I never thought I would see him leave the underworld. The only time that happened was during the Second Titan and Giant War.

The rest of the Gods were there as well. Bacchus, Ceres, Diana, Vulcan, Mercury, and Venus. None of those Gods interested me and I was surprised that I knew all their Roman names. Studying for my history final really paid off.

The only Gods that interested me were three. The first was a God that I didn't even recognize. She had a plumbed helmet and armor. She had brown hair and blue eyes. Her face was strained to say the least, but she still appeared calm. Who was this? It couldn't be Minerva. Annabeth told me of the differences between Athena and Minerva and I was shocked. Despite being Roman, she hated the Romans and wanted them to lose in the war. She was definitely off the Olympian panel for now.

The second God I was interested in was Hestia. This wasn't surprising to me with what Annabeth told me last night.

"Apollo won't be there tomorrow. Zeus banished him to who knows where after our battle with the giants, remember? Hestia will take his place in her Roman form, Vesta."

I remembered clearly since it was the same day where my nosebleed caused Gaea to awake. My whole body shuddered in embarrassment. Remembering that moment twice in one day was too much for me.

I was happy for Hestia for returning to her former place, and she was sharing that place with Mr. D after all this time. With all these Gods being replaced, I was hoping he was one of them.

The last god to shock me was my own father. Neptune sat on the other side of Jupiter, but he wasn't wearing his Tommy Bahama shirt or his brown khakis. I expected this, but I didn't expect to see him in a form I recognized. Neptune appeared as an old man with a bushy white beard and grey hair. His armor had seaweed around it, and it seemed to weigh him down. His tired eyes, leather like skin, and pale green eyes weren't new to me. This was the same form I saw before the Second Titan War, after the Princess Andromeda exploded. After Charles Beckendorf died on the ship while I fell towards the dark trenches of the sea. He said it was a form that represented the state of his realm during the war, but that was a lie obviously. I didn't know it at the time, but what I saw was Neptune right then and there.

Neptune didn't meet my eyes. I could see the embarrassment develop on his face. Not only does he realize that I caught on to his lie, but the Romans didn't respect him like the Greeks did. This was all painful for him and I didn't know what to feel either.

Jupiter got up from his seat and the sound of thunder could be heard right outside of the arena. I met Zeus and he wasn't nice. Jupiter had to have a whole other level of seriousness in comparison.

Jupiter stared at me. "Percy Jackson, step forward."

I didn't listen at first until Annabeth gave me a nudge on the shoulder. I still wasn't used to seeing all of the Olympians in their Roman forms.

"Thalia Grace. Step forward."

Thalia did the same but without the same level of hesitation that I had. I turned to see Thalia's face and she was looking straight at Jupiter. She used to be so nervous when it came to her father, but she really grew out of that hesitation.

Jupiter stared at both of us. As if he was getting a better sense of Thalia and me. I don't know why, but Jupiter scared me more than Zeus.

Jupiter put his hand to his chin. "Thalia, my child. Letting the Romans hear your speech doesn't give you the right to silence your father."

Thalia's eyes widen as she kept her mouth shut. The crowd seemed confused, but I wasn't. Thalia told Zeus to shut up as she was trying to cheer Reyna up after their match. Hard to forget that when Zeus let out a thunderbolt in response.

The confusing part was that Jupiter knew that. I assumed that Zeus let out that thunderbolt, but it was Jupiter all along. Two godly forms, same dude. Man, this is confusing.

Jupiter smiled at Thalia's embarrassment, which is something I would never see Zeus do. This was starting to get weird.

Jupiter beckoned us to turn to each other. Everyone else left the arena and headed back upstairs. Thalia got out of her nervous stupor and pulled out both spear and her Aegis shield. I let Riptide sit in my pocket until I needed it.

Chiron got on his microphone again.

"The first round of the Top 8 is here. Representing The Hunters of Artemis. She is the leader of the hunters and the right hand of the Goddess of the Hunt. She is also the sole daughter of Zeus. Fighting alongside both camps during the Titan and Giant wars. The eldest sister to the former praetor and son of Jupiter, Jason Grace, and the former protector of all of Camp Half-blood that kept us safe for years. Please welcome, Thalia Grace."

The crowd rose and clapped for Thalia. The real screams came from the Greek and hunter sections. The Hunters of Artemis was a small group, but the lungs on those girls can erupt the ear drums of Apollo himself. They would probably enjoy it.

Thalia gave me a wicked smile. "Good luck getting that standing ovation."

"You aren't serious, right?" I asked honestly.

"Representing the state of New York. The former leader of Camp Half-blood and the former praetor of Camp Jupiter. He has more quests under his belt than any camper. Completer of both the great prophecy and prophecy of seven. One of the seven that lead the charge against Gaea and fought Kronos to a standstill on Mount Olympus. Defeater of the Titans, Savior of the Gods, and the strongest demigod in the last 300 years. Please welcome, Percy Jackson.

Everyone was on their feet. Both Greek and Roman. From the demigods within legion, to the cabin leaders, and even Romans of the university. Almost every single person in the stands were giving me a standing ovation that lasted for a few minutes.

I just gave Thalia a quick smile before she sent death stares in return.

Jupiter gave Chiron a nod and Chiron yelled out a scream.

"Fight!"

I ran up quickly to Thalia and slashed her shield. Making the first move. Riptide was in sword form instantly. Playing the hard and fast game was my plan. Keep Thalia on the defense until she couldn't defend anymore.

I slashed her shield three more times before aiming at the legs which didn't work. With a couple of more strikes to her shield, I could see Thalia losing her temper. I slashed at her shield three times before moving to her spear arm. She dodged both attempts as I went back to slicing her shield. It was a solid three minutes of her being on the defensive and she didn't like it one bit. Not like there was another option for her besides defense and attack, and I had both options covered.

Thalia let out a frustrated shout before stabbing forward with her spear. Like a million times before, I sidestepped it and cut her spear in half. The crowd gasped as her weapon fell on the floor. One weapon down, another to go with Aegis. Thalia's anger multiplied by ten as she pushed her shield forward and bashed me.

I fell on my back for a bit as I tried to find my footing. As I got up, I traced my eyes back towards Thalia as she pulled out her sword from her sheath. Never mind, there was still two weapons to deal with.

Thalia smiled. "I'm glad you broke my spear, Percy. Now I show everyone who's the best with a sword."

Thalia transformed her shield back into a bracelet and attacked sword first with both hands. I blocked her strike with Riptide as the fight raged on.

Thalia was always an adapted fighter. She was skilled with a bow, hunting knifes, and more, but I never thought she was this good with a blade.

She parried all my strikes, and I was on the defense for a little bit. She went for a frontal strike and jumped out of the way. Before reaching the ground, Thalia was already running towards me with a stab at the ready. I parried it mid fall and established my footing.

I was losing my edge and she didn't even have her shield out. She was trying to make a point, that the daughter of Zeus was a better with a sword than the son of Poseidon. She was lucky that I was rusty.

I wasn't out of it yet as I noticed a pattern in Thalia's attacks. Quick aggression with heavy slashes before trying to finish me off with a stab. The pattern only changed a few times, and I knew she would switch it up when she noticed it wasn't working. I had to take advantage of her attacks now.

I parried each of her slashes as hard as they were. I was pushed back as well as losing feeling in my sword arm, but it was all worth it for the next strike. I pretended to lose footing and Thalia took the bait. I was going to wait for her stab and deflect it hard enough so she would lose her sword. It was an old defensive move I learned from Luke, and I wasn't going to waste it.

Thalia rushed forward to capitalize on my position, but instead of going in with a sword stab, her metal bracelet expanded in a span of a second and became Aegis. She rushed into me and stabbed forward with Aegis, a weapon I couldn't deflect. I had no time to think and jumped in the air before vaulting off her shield.

I was ten feet in the air and was ready to come down with all my might before all the hair on my arm stood up. I felt it before it happened as I stared downwards at Thalia's smile. Blinding light and thunder came down and struck me at my back. I fell towards the earth and landed on Thalia's shield Aegis, as Thalia herself raised the shield high with a scream that reached the heavens.

The crowd screamed with her, and before I could even think of retaliating, Thalia threw me off her shield as I bounced off the ground twice and landed into the shallow pond near the walls of the arena.

Thalia egged on the crowd while I was down facing the mud and fresh water. I couldn't see all that well, but I could hear perfectly fine.

"Savior of Olympus on his butt again." Thalia gloated. "Just like old times, Seaweed Brain."

I got up slowly. I thought I was messed up, but the water slowly healed me. It wasn't seawater, but it was good enough for now. I opened my eyes fully and saw Thalia walking towards me. She had a few bruises from my attack, but she was still in fine condition. I looked down at myself and saw a ripped camp T-shirt and a few bruised ribs. Courtesy of the Thalia's shield. I couldn't dwell on that as I rose upwards.

If Thalia wants to bring the thunder, then let her. I'll show her the power of sea. I thrusted my hands upwards and several pipes near the pond exploded. From the pipes I formed a small whirlpool before launching several watery hands towards Thalia.

Thalia dodged the first and the second with ease. I threw a few more but she dodged each and every one like it was nothing. The fifth hand, then seventh, and then ninth hand being the last. I couldn't hold up the water for that long as the last one dropped with a splash. There was a long streak of shallow water that fell on both sides of Thalia from the pond where I stood to the back of the arena. Thalia wiped the sweat from her brow and looked towards me with a smile while passing her sword from hand to hand. Playing with it as if she already won.

"No more energy left in the tank, huh? I thought you were a son of Poseidon, but you wiped out. Where's the sea?"

Thalia let her gaze of me go and looked towards my father, Neptune. She smiled at him the same way she smiled at me. Taunting the both of us. Pretty brave to taunt a God like that. Thalia and I weren't so different.

As Thalia's head turned, so did everyone else's in the arena as they stared at my father. I looked as well and saw something I couldn't believe. My father was the king of the sea. All seven seas and all underwater kingdoms. He had pride but was humble, he was strong but was fair, and he was a great ruler. All of that didn't apply to Neptune. He felt great shame as everyone stared at him, some of the Romans and Olympians stared with contempt. His wrinkles multiplied, his eyes went shut, and he lowered his head in disgrace. I never seen my father act this way, and I couldn't stand to watch.

Thalia turned back to me with a little remorse. "Lets just end this, Seaweed Brain.

I never thought I could get this angry. Despite my anger, I was thinking clearly for the first time. My will to win developed by my anger allowed me to think clearly. I couldn't beat her in a sword fight in my condition. I thought my ribs were bruised but it was clear that I broke a few of them after that lighting strike.

I had a plan ready for Thalia and I knew she wouldn't like it, so I had to act fast.

With quick reflexes and hardened will, I summoned the shallow waters on both sides of Thalia. Forming them into hands again as quickly and as close as possible. I didn't want to give Thalia the time to dodge and focused on my energy on speed rather than power. The hands formed on each side of Thalia as the water surged upwards. They were skinner than before, but Thalia didn't even time to even dodge before they attempted to crash into her. She didn't have time to dodge, but Thalia was still quick enough to fight

Thalia's eyes widen as she attain a fighting stance. She slashed at one hand before trying to dodge the other by sidestepping to the right, but the second hand grabbed her. She struggled to get out as both her hands and legs were tied within the clenched fist of surging water. There was no fear on Thalia's face as she tried to wiggle out of the hand, but the fear was slowly setting in.

I was happy that she destroyed one of the hands. One less hand to control meant that I could summon another. With more might than before, I created another watery hand beneath me and surged upwards. Thalia's fear was at its apex as she realized what my plan was. We both were rising towards the skies, as far as the hands could take us. As that happened, I could hear Thalia's screams. Her old fears reawakened as she fought tooth and nail to free herself. None of that mattered as I pushed my watery platform towards her.

In the skies, it was just Thalia and me. I looked down with no fears and saw the coliseum. The people in the stands looked like ants from here. I was a little worried being this high up as a son of Poseidon, but I doubt Jupiter would do anything while the match was going on.

I turned my head towards Thalia and saw her pleading eyes. She was scared to death. The height was far too much for her. I started to regret my decision as soon as I saw her face. Thalia was still one of my best friends and here I was making her face her biggest fear in life. This plan was made out of anger, and I didn't want it to last. For Thalia's sake at least.

"Say Uncle, Thalia." I urged her. "The faster you say it, the faster you can get down.

Thalia stared at me deeply. Knowing that if she broke that gaze, she would be looking towards that massive height difference and break down. Despite all that pressure, all that fear building up inside her, Thalia didn't yield.

"Drop me if you want, but I'm not saying Uncle, Jackson." Thalia said with full conviction. Her eyes didn't even come close to matching her words. It was only a matter of time before she broke down.

'But that's not the way I want to win.' I thought. 'I don't want to see a friend of mine reach that point.'

I thought about it for short amount of time. Letting us hang in the air for a bit before descending downwards. Thalia couldn't believe that I gave in.

I brought us down slowly. Trying not to agitate Thalia even more than I already had. I could only hope that we could continue the fight on our own terms. Maybe pull out riptide and give that a go. I don't think I could win with my injuries, but I would give it a try.

We were only 15 feet above ground before it happened.

In that split second, I knew I messed up. Before I could even turn my head back to Thalia, I was swatted out of the sky like a bug. The biggest lightning bolt you could think of came crashing down and hit the both of us in midair. Unlike the last time, I didn't land in the pond but instead fell directing into the arena with no protection. The lightning didn't hit me completely, but I could still feel the burning sensation around my torsos. I could smell the burnt flesh as I fell towards the ground.

I fell directly on my sword wielding arm and couldn't get up again. I thought that was enough pain for a lifetime, but Thalia fell right on top of me, bruising my body even more. I was broken and tired. I couldn't move anything but my non sword wielding arm. Having energy wasn't the issue, what's the point of energy when you can't use it.

I was done physically. With only one non-sword wielding hand that could move, I started to lose hope.

Randomly, I thought of Annabeth and what she was thinking. She had to be watching the whole thing. Watching two of her best friends duking it out. What was she thinking? What would she do in this situation?

I thought deeply and remembered a time when I learned from her. Outside the Big House a few days after coming to Camp Half-Blood the first time. Still a dumb little kid carrying around a minotaur horn and looking for his missing mom. I remember a wise girl with a baseball cap. Teaching me to fight before I even met Luke.

"A good fighter knows his positioning; a great fighter knows the positioning of everything else."

The words ringed in my head as I looked at my surroundings. Looking first at Thalia.

Thalia didn't look good. She tried to get off me but struggled. The lighting hit her too, but I'm guessing that was her plan. Her face was soaking wet from all the water as well as her hair. Matter of fact, there was water all over the arena as both watery hands exploded after the lightning strike.

I could feel the water below me. Healing me slowly but it wasn't enough. I needed something else. The water was far from shallow as the pipes of the arena were still pumping water at full blast. Sooner than later the excess water would reach us, and if we didn't get up, we would start floating.

Thalia barely stood up. The lightning didn't affect her as badly as it affected me. That was an issue, but she was a daughter of Zeus. Can't be tossing lightning if you can't handle it.

Thalia bore her eyes into me before grabbing her sword off the ground and pointing it towards me.

"Say uncle." Thalia said. "I'm not going to ask twice, Jackson. You had a good fight and it was fun for a bit."

Her eyes were full of fury. If I didn't piss off Thalia before, I did now.

"The fun is over now. Say Uncle and we're even, Seaweed Brain." Thalia said with finality.

"Stop" I said before coughing. I could barely get a word out edge wise.

Thalia didn't break a sweat with her response. She didn't have the time or patience for me right now.

"You're the one that needs to stop. You can't move an itch without breaking something and I have a sword to your neck. Stop fighting this Percy and just give up." Thalia begged.

I felt the volume of water increase around me. The water of Little Timber to the sides of me, underneath me, and all around me. Thalia struck me down with thunder, but I was a child of the storm as well, and when it rains, it pours.

"No" I barely spoke. "Not that." I said to Thalia.

Thalia finally snapped and screamed at me. "Not what, Percy? Why should I stop? I'm the strongest demigod there is! I beat Luke and I'm going to beat you too. What exactly should I stop doing?"

In that moment, Thalia felt the water beneath her rise. She felt the earth shaking and turned her head to the left of the arena. Where the pipes and pond were as all the water from there was funneling towards a 20-foot wave right behind us. It wasn't in motion as I controlled it with one hand. Waiting for my command.

"Stop calling me Seaweed Brain." I said with a whisper. "Only a wise girl can call me that."

The wave crashed into the both of us as I went into a deep slumber.

Our longest chapter yet! That was Percy vs Thalia! The battle has ended but who won? The next chapter will be all about Hazel. Stay tuned for more.
