"HAHAHAHA!~"

What looks to be some kind of bank, some kind of hostage situation was going on, a very unusual hostage situation, with the hostage themselves tied up with special pretty ribbon with a large cake at the center that had a timer on it, there was also a large group of heavily armed criminals, that wore clown thug costumes, that surrounded both the civilians and two specific people that stood out among the rest

"Stop this now Joker, and I promise to only break one of your arms this time."

"Batman, Bat pal, B-Man, Batsy Batsy Batsy, you should know better by now~"

The one that looked to be the main boss of the Clown Thugs, plus being the one to perform this bank robbing, was a purple suited, green hair and wide red smile clown, who goes by Joker, the way he talks and acts screams insanity, his crazy laughter didn't help, as for the person that stood before the not so sane jester, he seemed to be some kind heroic or vigilante figure, due to his bat like costume, being in a fighting stance that shows of both defiance and justice, plus, despite wearing a mask that nearly covered his entire face, he still wore a expression of vengeance and determination, he was Batman and he did not back down before his mortal enemy

"This song and dance between you and I will never stop and will never end!~"

As the Joker starts to give out his devious monologue and speech, the Vigilante made sure to be in his line of sight, all the while secretly looking at the ceiling and seeing three specific figures moving around, no doubt his allies, secretly letting him know that everything was good and ready

"I create chaos, kill everyone I see, you appear, we give each other some proper spanking, you send me to Arkham Asylum, I break out of Arkham Asylum, rinse and repeat~"

The Joker continues on with his philosophy and his life style of pure evil, though the Hero only barely listened as he slowly and secretly reach into his back and pulled out his signature weapon, called the 'Batarang'

"I Am The Yin To Your Yang Batsy! Nothing You Do Will Ever Change That, No Matter How Many Times You Try To End Our Playtime!~"

Joker then ends his dramatic talking by quickly pulling out a remote and pressing the button, which starts the timer of the bomb cake, making Batsy tense up and causing the hostages to panic extremely

"Not this time Joker, I will make sure you will stop causing so much death and destruction, for good."

Batman glare harshly as he, as well as his hidden allies, prepares to stop the Mad Clown, who could only laugh out loud from what he just said

"Heh, oh my delusional Dark Knight, the only way that I will ever stop is when I'm dead!~"

Though before Joker could cause any destruction, and before the Dark Knight, plus his allies, could stop him, the sound of slashing could be heard, which definitely caught everyone attention, they all look and saw that a random Thug Clown had his head sliced off and then fallen down to the ground, dead, much to everyone shock or surprise, though it didn't end with just one dead Thug Clown, soon another sound of slashing was heard and another dropped dead, then another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another, those that were alive and spectating couldn't even keep track of it all, all they could see was a black shadowy blur and the bloody aftermath of the next unfortunate victim, the only time they even get the chance of seeing the person responsible for all this, was when the mysterious shadow killed the last Clown Thug and then going straight for the Civilians and cake bomb, managing to free and pushing away the hostages before ending all this by unleashing some kind of black slimy tendrils, which quickly wrapped around and cover the entire cake, only having a few seconds left in the time, after it was completely covered, a loud but very muffled explosion could be heard and slightly seen underneath the dark liquidy mass

"Hey! How Dare You Ruin My Fun With My Most Favorite Hated Enemy!"

Joker was extremely upset to see that all of his hard work was easily taken out by the unknown stranger, who slowly revealed himself more after containing the explosion, a male figure who wore pure black, with only a few gold colors, having a hood and mask to hide his true identity, though was still able to see his red glowing eyes, which boredly glares at Jester of Genocide

"I'm the one who lurks in the shadow and fight the shadow."

Before the Joker could say or do anything else, the unknown figure quickly spears before him and used his sword, that seemly came out of nowhere, to stabbed deeply into the clown's stomach, who gasps in pain and cough up blood

"But to you, I'm your death that was asked for…"

That was the only thing the Joker was able to hear before the stranger used the sword, that was already in his stomach, to cut him into two, making blood spray everywhere as the split body fell to the ground, unmoving and very much dead, but the stranger could care less about that, now turning his attention to the Dark Knight, who was still in his fighting stance and had his Batarang out, though his expression and posture felt more intense

"Are you friend or foe?..."

Was all Batman could ask, which only made the cloaked man huff in response

"And why should I answer such a question?"

The blacked figure showed no interest of killing the person before him, though it was clear that he wasn't going to submit to anyone who might threaten him

"If you're a friend, then I will take it easy on you."

As Batman continue to speak with him, the same three figures from earlier finally jumped down from hiding and surrounded him, the dark stranger took this chance to see who these people are, there was a woman who wore similar clothes to the Dark Knight himself, though with noticeable changes, a young man who wore skin tight black suit with a blue symbol on it and held two electric baton, and lastly there was a child, who also wore a hood but had red colors and wielded a staff for a weapon

"But if you're an enemy, then I will show you no mercy when taking you down…"

With Batman giving him his last warning, there was a moment of silence between everyone, the Vigilante and his allies waited for an answer to be given, while also preparing for anything that might go wrong, though as the unknown figure himself, after a moment to realize what he was told and what he has gotten himself into, he couldn't help but respond to all this with a simple chuckle, letting his weapons dissolve into his clothing before holding up his own fist and getting into his own fighting stance

"Batman was it? My name is Shadow, let's have a real conversation between us~..."

'Hehe, good job Cid, always wanted to use that line!~'

I'm not gonna lie, a lot of villains, and maybe a couple none villains or specific hero's, will either die or join his side, I assure you that it won't be a 'OP Character Destroys DC Universe', but knowing Shadow and his Followers, them being neither hero or villain, not to mention will not hesitate to kill if necessary, yeah, lots of things will happen.

(Though despite saying they wouldn't be 'OP Unbeatable', I'm caping Shadow to 10 Nukes with his followers being somewhat lesser than him, that doesn't mean they wouldn't get stronger, especially in a world filled with new powers and technology, speaking of which, any specific information about DC I should know that might interest Shadow and his Garden?)

/Character I Will Include Plus Basic Plans For Them\

Cid, aka Shadow: At the moment, simple exploring, somewhat enjoying being back at something familiar but amazed for the difference, like the large superheroes and villains that now exist.

Claire: Looking for her brother, obviously lol, though maybe she could accidentally become a hero as well, maybe.

Aurora: Claire ghost like companion and is in charge of protecting and giving her more power.

Alpha: Main objective is looking for her master, but doing it carefully and learning how to do it.

Beta: Partnered up with Alpha in specific mission, in charge of the other members whenever she needs to.

Gamma: Established a secret and public base of operations and hide outs.

Delta: In charge of protecting Gamma and their temporary base.

Epsilon: Recruiting or infiltrating the Heroes, I'm open to suggestions, I'm thinking of the teen titans, before meeting Robin.

Zeta: Recruiting or killing the Villains, I'm open to suggestions, I'm thinking Redhood and Deathstroke.

Eta: Research and mad scientist stuff, learning and mixing old and new world magic and technology to increase their power and defense, while also learning where they're at and informing the team with any important knowledge or new stuff, BTW I'm open to suggestions on what kind of upgrade should each character get~

Rose Oriana: Protecting and being close friends with Clair, while also being the main person to travel the streets as a "Normal Civilian", both for research and buying, or stealing, supplies.
