Natalie: My water could break, you could get a big case, anything could be close to home.

Charles' POV
I never imagined in a million years that I, Detective Charles Boyle, would sleep with and date my enemy, Dr. Sarah Reese.
Sarah: What's going on?
Charles: We gotta get ready for work.
Sarah: You're right, we're gonna be late.
At the 99, we walk in seperately, but I still love her, she's really gorgeous, I just wonder what Sylvie will think about us when she gets back.
When I walk up to our floor, Holt calls me into his office, as I walk in, I see Lieutenant Lansing and Sergeant Voight also standing beside him.
Holt: Boyle, this is serious, this is your first case without me, Jeffords or Lansing as supervisor.
I think I'm screwed if Voight's supervisor, which he then confirms and that it's serial arson.
The four of us then head out of Holt's office, Lansing hands out partnership assignments.
Lansing: Today, Peralta, with Atwater, Jeffords, take Roman, Santiago, Halstead, Diaz, with Lindsay, Boyle, Ruzek, Gina, Antonio, Kim, with me.
Holt: Something else.
Lansing: Sylvie Brett's undercover and Gabby Dawson's on our team today.
I'm glad to be with Adam, he's a good man and cares for Kim almost as much as I do, tomorrow, I'm sure I'm with Jay.
Adam: You and me today.
He pats me on the shoulder like the good man he is.
Terry and Sean and Jake and Atwater are getting ready for their investigations as I tell Adam about the arson case.
Adam: This is fire territory, we need help.
Lansing walks towards us telling us that 51 will be meeting us at the scene.
As he and I go to the scene, I recognize that Sloan will be there, we're taking orders from him, but when we get out of the car, all I see is Squad 3's rig.
Severide: I know, you expected Sloan to be here, Tony and Capp are in right now and Cruz is out back.
Charles: Copy that.
Adam and I head in with flashlights.
Capp: You're gonna want to bag this.
Charles: Gloves on, smart, your handprints won't get on there.
Tony: Smart move, I know.
The radio talks asking me if I can take a working call with Truck, Squad and Boden as 61 was out, I responded with yes hoping Sloan would be there.
I then alert Adam warning him about the scene.
He then gives me the go ahead.
I get in the car and drive to the scene where everyone is there, including everyone from the 99.
Casey: Otis, raise the aerial.
Boden: Squad, get the guy out.
Severide: Cruz, grab the sawzall, Tony, Capp, webbing.
I go towards Sloan, telling him I was looking for him earlier.
Sloan: What's this about, Detective?
Charles: I didn't see you at the scene.
Sloan: I was busy at another one.
Charles: Makes sense.
I walk away from Sloan as Lansing arrives.
Lansing: Talk to me.
Holt: Person trapped, we're raising the aerial right now, Jeffords and Peralta are chasing the criminal right now.
Lansing: Sloan's orders?
Holt: No, mine.
Lansing: Nice.
Holt: It's possible we're gonna get a fire or car crash later today.
Lansing: If that's the case, we're gonna-.
Sloan: Son of a bitch.
Holt, Lansing and I rush towards Sloan wondering what he was talking about.
Sloan: Get Boden here, now.
Boden: Heard you loud and clear, what's going on?
Sloan: That was The Target, chased her down in the 80s.
Boden: Must be hard for you.
Sloan: Better believe it.
Holt: OK, Lansing and his team are focusing on Joey Thomas, right now, after that, all teams should be able to work on taking her down.
Lansing: We arrested Joey last night actually.
Charles: Great.
Sloan: Target investigation, you can't begin for some time actually.
Lansing: Why not?
Sloan: It can take some time to arrest her, and some of you will be in grave danger as she marks down her own territory.
Lansing: Oh, man.
Holt tells us not to begin a single investigation as tomorrow our focus will be on The Target.
When we get back to the precinct, Gabby looks at me on the 4th floor, but it was Jake she needed to talk to.
The rest of us head back into the precinct.
Holt: All of you could be in grave danger, we're assigning patrol officers to keep you safe if you're not a cop.
Lansing: And the case could be you dying.
Voight: It is unfortunate.
Holt: Dismissed.
Casey's POV
I get worried about what just got mentioned as a lot of us are affected.
Herrmann: Casey, no one's gonna die.
Casey: You don't know that.
Herrmann: We may be in grave danger, but no one's gonna die.
Casey: You better be right.
Mouch walks towards us telling us Trudy has assigned a patrol officer to my, Gabby and Kelly's place.
Back to Charles' POV
I get worried about Jake, Amy and especially Sarah and Kim as The Target marks down her territory, Sloan came upstairs to help.
Holt: All right, we have a map, the areas in red are were target territory is.
Voight: You could be in the area.
I walk towards the area and recognize that a ton of people I care about live in territory.
Holt: What's wrong, Boyle?
Sloan: Turns out that a ton of people he cares about live in territory.
Voight: You're a expert at this.
Sloan: I've been chasing her down for 35 years.
I get less worried as Sloan's an Target expert, the alarm then rings calling Engine, Truck, Squad and COs to the scene alongside DEA, Lansing's unit.
Everyone then gets ready, at the scene, we get Ambulance 96, instead of our normal 61.
Boden orders 51 to get hoses, Truck and Squad to search and Sloan to get the cuffs ready, before that Sloan worrys as we could be in Target Territory.
Sloan: 99th, except for Holt, Peralta and Jeffords, stand by, Holt, Peralta, Jeffords, chasedown.
Holt: Let's go!
Severide: Cruz, with me, Tony, Capp, back.
Casey: Otis, raise the aerial, Mouch, Herrmann, with me.
As the firefighters head in, we focus on taking down the people as Lansing gives orders to his squad.
I get worried when it takes too long but then a shot gets fired.
Sloan: Shots fired!
Every one of us rush to the officer down and it is revealed that Amy got shot.
I call the hospital, and tell them Amy got shot.
Natalie's POV
I hear Maggie say that we have a victim who got shot, I get worried about who it is as the cops rush in.
Natalie: Amy, can you hear me.
Medic: Woman, mid-30s, Cuban, shot in the chest.
Natalie: April, let's go!
April walks towards me as we get ready for treatment.
Back to Charles' POV
Amy is in the hospital so Jake calls her parents as Lansing paces.
Holt: OK, Santiago is in all our graces, we have respects for her and we hope she survives this.
Lansing: Diaz is down there right now, helping with the treatment, better work.
Voight: Nothing bad better happen.
Holt: Dismissed. Peralta, my office.
Jake goes into Holt's office as I wonder what it's about, he later gets out telling me what Holt said.
Jake: Boyle, this is serious, this case isn't solved until the bust.
Charles: Obviously.
Jake: I'm worried for Amy.
Charles: So am I.
Jake: She's gonna survive. Don't worry. She's a fighter.
Charles: She's tough.
Jake: Very.
I go down to Lansing's office to talk to him.
Lansing: Detective, what's going on?
Charles: How long is Amy's leave for.
Lansing: 1 month.
Charles: Got it. Also-.
I get cut off by Natalie.
Natalie: Guys, Amy's fighting for her life, obviously she'll survive.
Lansing: She's a fighter.
Charles: Makes sense.
Natalie: Also, I'm going through a tough time, pregnant, recently widowed, it's not easy.
Charles: I'm sorry.
Lansing: Probably gonna come to me, then you came in.
Natalie: I was gonna go to you, Lieutenant.
Lansing: I am a widow, was for 11 years.
Natalie: You probably loved her.
Lansing: I did, why didn't you go to Voight or Casey?
Natalie: Didn't want to cause any drama between those two.
Charles: Smart.
Lansing: Well, glad you came to me.
Natalie: I'm glad as well.
Lansing: Dismissed. Both of you.
Natalie and I leave Lansing's office.
Charles: Glad Amy's still alive.
Natalie: I'll update you guys if anything changes in her health.
Charles: Thanks.
Natalie: You're welcome.
I head back to the 4th floor and when I step out, Adam approaches me.
Ruzek: Well, our guy was burned to death, ME's office just confirmed that.
Charles: Copy that, anything else?
Ruzek: Nothing.
Charles: Got it.
Holt calls me into office after that, I walk in with Lansing and Voight standing beside him.
Charles: Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant.
Lansing: Burgess is suspicious about your relationship with Sarah.
Charles: I should've known, Kim's pretty suspicious overall.
Voight: Peralta's also suspicious.
Charles: No way Jake's suspicious.
Cuts to Charles talking to the two.
Jake: I am pretty suspicious about Sarah, we think she's setting you up.
Charles: Impossible.
Kim: We're worried about you.
Charles: I'm fine.
Jake: Still, we're worried.
Charles: I'm making the right choice.
Jake: Everyone will have an eye on you.
Charles: I appreciate it but I'm fine.
Kim: Yeah, right.
Later at Shaw's Bar
No POV
Jake: Still worried about Charles.
Lansing: Sarah's not gonna stab him in the back.
Kim: Better be true.
Jake: I'm gonna be helping out more, Natalie asked me to help out with the baby when it's born.
Lansing: She told me that.
Kim: That's amazing.
Jake: It is, I'm gonna step up like I wanted.
Casey: Guys, I'm warning you right now, Amy's still on medical leave but she got discharged 5 minutes ago.
Lansing: Hallelujah.
Jake: Thank god.
Kim: Much better now.
Casey: I know. The entire team's happy about that.
Jake: That's obviously true, we care for Amy.
Lansing: We really do.
Lansing's phone rings.
Lansing: Hold on a minute. Lansing. Copy that. Got it.
Jake: What was that?
Lansing: Erin's been kidnapped.
All of them are in shock.
