"How much longer." Rocket heard Casey ask.
It'd been a few days since she'd gotten the letter saying she'd been accepted into Avengers Campus but she wouldn't be starting until the new term started in a few weeks, only Casey was too excited about this makijg her brother sigh being the vice-dean of said campus was getting annoyed until he had one of his ideas.
"Soon, just be patient, don't you have friends." Rocket asked her over Groot Morning pancakes.
"I don't have any, I have Bento and you." she replied to him knowing it was Sapling Adoption Day.
"Awww that's sweet but come with me today, alright." Rocket replied makijg her excited.
After getting ready for the day, she joined him at the apartment-door relieving Rocket as they left but she got excitedseeing AvengerscCampus making Rocket chuckle but were going to the greenhouses seeing kids lined up making her wonder what was goijg on, joining the line being curious seeing her brother entering the greenhouses which added to her curiousuty.
After a bit, she entered the greenhouses amazed that kids were getting Groot saplings excited yet nervous, she wasn't a student yet but saw a smile on Rocket's face leading her to the flowerpots, seeing a sapling which looked like Groot when he was this little making him chuckle.
"Of course you get one, this is Branchie your new Groot friend, every year Sapling Adoption Day where kids get to adopt Groot saplings from the branches that Groots have donated to help their population, yes uncle Groit donated a branch, which Branchie came from." he explained to her impressing her.
"Hi Branchie, I'm Casey and maybe we can be friends, like my brother and uncle Groot are friends." she said.
"I am Groot." Rocket heard Branchie told him making him grin, yet Casey confused.
"Of course she will, she says hi, oh yeah, I have to teach you Groot." he told her.
"Awwww I like you too, Branchie, but let's go explore." Casey told her.
Rocket was relieved, his plan was workijg hoping this could help his sister make friends, especially for when she started in the Fall knowing it was almost lunchtime hearing the bell ringing seeing students coming inside, seeing Casey there but sitting at a table with Branchie in her flowerpot making Rocket sigh, knowing Branchie would help her make friends joining the faculty for the meeting.
"Awwww, Branchie's so cute but will take care of you." Casey told the female-sapling as she was in her room, aftershe and her brother had returned to their apartment while Rocket was making dinner for them and Branchie makijg her happy but saw her nuzzle her furry cheek making Casey giggling unaware her brother was listening, knowing this was a good idea even though she still hadn't met any friends yet smelling something yummy.
"Guys dinner's ready, Casey, go wash Your paws alomg with Branchie to wash her hands." she heard Rocket say heading to the bathroom to wash up for dinner, helping Branchie giggling.
