Marie was bound to a chair and it wasn't one of her spicy dreams that she had been having. Danny, Gina, and herself were all involved with today's hero mission. Danny had volunteered them as the bodies for today's hero training.

It was frustrating because that meant that Marie couldn't observe from the sidelines. It was going to be the first time that she'd get to watch Shinso doing a combination of rescue and fighting training. Maybe she could ask Aizawa Sensei for the recordings later.

The room that she was in was cold and she thinks it was supposed to be hospital themed. One of the instructions that she was given was to fight against the person who came to rescue her. Aizawa had told her that no matter what the heroes do, I needed to try to run and act as if I didn't want to be rescued.

But they had to find her first in the mock city. Her senses could pick up on some of the sounds around her. That's how she could tell that they'd found Gina, who milked up the fact that Todoroki was on the team that found her. They must have been close because Marie could hear the dramatic acting that was Gina running away. She could also hear when she got caught again shortly after.

Specifically, "You're going to carry me in your big strong arms." Marie heard it as a statement and not a question.

Marie had to wonder if the reason she hadn't been found was because they didn't expect for the victims to be close to one another.

Looking around the room she tried to see what exactly she'd do when she got rescued and how she could resist.

These were students in the hero class and she had just started training her body. This week she had gone running with Gina, Midoriya, and Todoroki every morning. Afterwards she had done some aerobic training that went well with her feline quirk. She added in kick boxing but only 3 days in the evening that week and she only worked on her form.

The added physical training continued to help tame her inner cat. So she continued. It also felt good when she was able to achieve running the track for the whole time.

Being able to run would probably help her. There was a window next to her chair and at a glance she could see that there was a ladder and some grain pipes. With the grip on her hands she could probably climb down the building with ease to escape.

Her arms started to tingle as she could sense that someone was down the hall to the room she was in. Their footsteps were heavy and mechanical sounding.

Through the door walks the class A representative, Tenya Ida.

"I'm here to rescue you. Are you hurt anywhere?"

He asked her as he entered the room. She felt stupid doing the role play so just shook her head.

He moved behind her chair to untie her and the only thing that Marie could think about was the fact that she was supposed to retaliate.

She needed to make this difficult for the heroes. Her heart was racing and her nerves were on fire. She heard more footsteps coming down the hall.

They were definitely lighter than Ida's robotic suit.

The moment she felt the slack in the rope she went to the window. The action confused the mechanical hero.

"Miss. I am here to rescue you."

She was over the ledge of the window and just saw Midoriya enter the room when she grabbed the ladder to start climbing down.

She was on the fourth floor and was making it pretty quick down the ladder.

"Miss!"

Looking up she sees Ida, Midoriya, and Shinso looking down at her descending figure. It was clear they weren't informed about the rescued person being runners.

Midoriya grabs the ledge of the window and she knows that he was going to come after her.

Marie was in front of the window of the third floor and without much thought she opens the window and climbs through.

Ida turns to Shinso, "You backtrack to get her from the front-" He hardly had to say anything as Shinso was already leaving the room to go search for Marie. On the floor below.

He ran and kept his ears open to try to listen for the girl. He couldn't hear anything. But could only think that she couldn't have gotten far.

Marie could hear that the hero class students were coming for her in different directions. She had abandoned her shoes the moment she got into the third floor. Being barefoot would help with her being quiet.

She knew that Ida was fast, Midoriya was strong and that Shinso could completely brainwash her if she spoke to him.

The end of the wallway had an open window that she headed towards.

"Marie!" She halted at the open window and looked back to see Shinso standing there just coming from the stairs, "Miss, We're here to rescue you."

And I'm supposed to make it difficult. She thought but didn't speak in case his quirk was in use.

She starts to climb into the window opening.

Hitoshi couldn't believe that he was watching what this girl was doing. That window didn't have a ladder on the other side. He had been in these training grounds enough now to know that.

"Could you come out of the window? It's not safe." She was silent. She was well aware of how his quirk worked.

He could see the contemplation in her eyes but it was quickly erased when Izuku and Ida entered the hall from two different stairwells.

He watched the girl without hesitation jump backwards from the third story window. He couldn't wrap his head around it and only bolted to the window. He hoped to use his capture cloth to snag her before she went splat but saw that he wouldn't need to as she appeared to land with grace on the pavement.

She looked up at him with a huge grin on her face, "Cats always land on their feet." She yelled.

He felt as his face grew and teeth were wide and showing. His heart was racing at the tease. A blush building along the bridge of his nose. And she ran away from the building and down the sidewalk.

"Is she okay? She really just jumped from there?" Ida spoke.

"Apparently. She ran away with no apparent limp or injuries." He turns to Izuku and Ida, "I do have a plan to capture her though."

Midoriya watched the spark in his friend's violet eyes, "You mean 'rescue' right."

Marie was now walking down the sidewalk to the fake city. How long did she have to be here? Was there a time limit? If there was, she forgot about it and didn't have a way to keep track.

She turns into the fake grocery store and starts to look at the empty shelves. Through the back she can hear some movement. Her hair raises on her skin. Had they already found her.

She was tired of running at this point.

"Is someone there?" She recognizes the voice. It was Danny's.

But was it really? She knew that Shinso had a voice mask that could imitate other voices. He had even become proficient in throwing his voice like a ventriloquist.

So Marie stood frozen in place waiting for the voice to say something to give her a hint.

"Gina, Marie, Heroes?" The voice yelled at the other side of what appeared to be an office door.

It still wasn't enough to convince her.

There was jingling on the other side of the door, "These handcuffs aren't comfortable. Are we done yet?"

It had to be Danny. The heroes wouldn't be locked in the office.

There was a silence as she made her way to the door. She also was waiting it out because if it wasn't Danny there would have been enough time between when he last spoke and now for Shinso's quirk to not be active.

"Danny? If that's you I need you to tell me something so that I know it's you."

She heard the sigh on the other side of the door, "You don't like idol bands because you think they're cringe and you prefer to listen to American classic rock."

It wasn't a huge indication that it was Danny but she also didn't think that Midoriya, Ida, or Shinso would know it either.

"Did I pass the test? Can you let me out now?" She heard the chain jingle.

"Yes." And just like that she was frozen and before she could process what was happening a capture cloth was wrapped around her torso and she was being pulled back to the front of the grocery store.

She watches as the office door opens and she can see that it had a backdoor that was open, Midoriya was holding the chain that they used to manipulate her senses.

A thud and her back was in someone's firm chest. Her body felt equally stiff and pliable. She knew exactly who was behind her. Her ears had grown accustomed to the subtle sounds that Shinso made and the sixth sense that she memorized from sitting next to him the past two weeks.

An alarm went off in the store and all throughout the complex.

"Mission Success." She heard Aizawa Sensei's voice over the intercom.

In an instant she felt the haze over her mind disappear. Blinking a few times as if that would help with the mental fog that she had.

She felt a shift behind her. Turning her head she realized just how close she was to Shinso.

"Hey, you okay? You really just jumped out of that building. It was pretty reckless of you." He held his mask down as he spoke. His breath trailing across and reaching over her ear. Sending a tickling sensation.

"I'm fine." She speaks and is sure to face away from him to hit a growing blush. A blush that she knew wasn't coming from her cat but genuinely herself, "Could you unbind me?"

He unwound her and the whole group walked out of the massive training area to where the class was watching on monitors.

Marie found Danny and Gina to stand with.

She heard as different people praised Shinso for his plan to capture/rescue me.

"Shinso, Midoriya, Ida, you were able to rescue your escaped victim. But you would have been unsuccessful if this was outside of training." Aizawa spoke up.

"What?" Ida.

Aizawa only glances at Marie before speaking, "You were only able to lure Ms. Marie due to your prior knowledge. That won't always be the case."

Marie watched as the three boys faces went from proud to defeat.

"Actually Aizawa, It could have had gone smoother for this if it wasn't for me." She speaks up.

The hero class turn toward here. Nor.ally the management students don't speak out much during their training. At least not till now.

"I also had the prior knowledge of all of their quirks. Giving me the first advantage. They simply followed my lead. In the end it was a battle of wits."

Aizawa hides his grins at the feline student in his capture scarf.

"A battle you lost." He turns to the heroes, "You did well. Class dismissed."

Nothing more was said and they all went their separate ways.

Marie had to head back if she was to get her homework done and be ready for another night of laundry at Aizawa Sensei's.

Danny bumps into her arm out of endearment and that's when she felt a pain that wasn't there before.

She hisses.

"You okay?" His face shows concern.

She rubs her arm and thinks about how it would probably not be a big deal. It just needs rest.

"Yeah. Just not really used to this hero stuff."

Behind them headed toward the locker rooms Hitoshi looks back at the interaction and watches as Marie holds her right forearm closer to her body.
