Leaving Olympus, Percy and Nico vapor and shadow traveled, respectively, that is, to camp half – blood. Walking through the barrier, they exchanged a nod, before Percy went off to the woods, striding towards bunker nine, while Nico went to inform Chiron of the situation. (1)
Hearing loud bangs and crashes, caused Percy to shake his head, 'great, what has he created now?' though he was more amused than upset, after all, Leo could make a lot of things, some of which were very powerful. Coming to a stop in front of the massive doors, leading into the hidden forge, the powerful young demigod stood for a mere moment, and then raised his fist, and knocked.
"go away. Busy here. Not taking any requests. Consulting hours are between eight and five every other Thursday. Come back after scheduling an appointment in advance. If you are a door to door salesman, than feel free to never come back. If you happen to have a spare pizza, then leave it at the door. Thank you for your understanding." Leo's voice called out. (2)
Percy just raised an eyebrow, before calling out to the talented son of the forge god, "as amusing as that little speech was, Mr. Stark, we got work to do, and a quest from the 'almighty powerful' gods of Olympus." (3)
Glancing up from his work, which now that Percy had a chance to see it, appeared to be replica of the iron man armor, from avengers infinity war, again much to his amusement, Leo took in Percy's appearance for a moment, his eyes widened.
While he didn't look much different to Leo, there was a look of anger in his eyes, making Leo gulp, one should ever anger Percy, and if he is angry? Get the fuck out of the way!
Percy, seeing a moderate amount of fear in Leo's eyes, closed his eyes, and began to calm himself down. "sorry man. I don't know what is wrong with me anymore, I get angry easier, and it seems to come over the smaller stuff. Maybe it's because some god or goddess has fucked something up intentionally or unintentionally, and once again I have to fix it." (4)
"nah man, it's cool. We've all been there. Truth be told, I think we are all getting tired of being playthings for petty and immature immortals. It's irritating. What, do we not have a right to live our lives, for ourselves? Though, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do our, esteemed loving parents, want with you this time? Haven't you done enough?!" Leo went into a mini rant. (5)
Truly, Percy was touched, while he wouldn't say he was a hard person to get along with, or he had few friends, there was just something about a friend getting angry on your behalf, who could see what was being done to you, and willing to acknowledge the wrongness of it.
"moving on, bitching about it won't change anything. Here's the general gist of it all. A space ship landed down in an abandoned parking lot up the street from my mom's place. Inside it, there were a group of people who need a part to get back to their home. One of them is a queen. In order for the part to be fixed, we needed your father to do it, but of course knowing the gods the way I do, I wasn't sure if they would help, and given that if anyone needed to leave with them, they would have to go through the sky to get to space, so I asked Zeus for permission to possibly leave with them, and asked your father for the part, which we again needed Zeus' permission, since he doesn't want the mortals to know about the gods. (6)
Your father agreed to help, but he asked me to help you, since it would take him about three days, but he said with your help, it would be about two. So will you help?" Percy asked.
Leo didn't even hesitate to answer, "of course aqua man, anything you need, the mcshizzle is here to help with. So any hot space alien babe women or men? I'm not picky." (7)
Percy snorted, "well the queen is kind of cute now, but I bet she will grow to be quite pretty in a few years. Though there is a little girl among them, who gives me a strange vibe." he trailed off in thought, thinking about Anita.
"huh, maybe I should introduce myself to them. Speaking of introducing myself, and in light of what you mentioned just a few moments ago, who all is interested in going?" Leo questioned, as he and Percy left the bunker and headed back to the big house.
"I don't know. I haven't exactly had a chance to speak to anyone else about it all yet, and the only one I have a for sure idea on yet, is Nico, but that's only if I choose to go. I have to admit, the idea is kind of tempting, when else will I get a chance to see more than just earth? Plus, not only am I restless here, but I can help people out. Although, I don't know how big the ship is, inside or out, so for all I know, we could take every camper. It's alien technology, after all." Percy answered distractedly, still thinking about Anita, for some unknown reason to him, he couldn't get the child out of his mind. (8)
"hm, well if you go, then I think it would be safe to say that Annabeth would go, Reyna might, gotta be honest with you, I would be willing, the armor and weapons from space could be interesting." Leo stated matter of factually.
"Speaking of weapons, did you know, that apparently the Jedi, which is some kind of mystic race of monks, carry laser blades that can come in a variety of colors, and use an invisible ability called the force, to move objects, or influence people? I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those laser blades. It would be cool." Percy told his friend with a smirk. (9)
Leo felt his mouth drop, "no way?! They seriously use swords made out of lasers?! What the fuck?! Why don't we have those kind of weapons?! I have to make those!"
"yep, my thoughts exactly. However, something else has been troubling me about this situation." his momentarily companion spoke up.
"oh, now what? Wondering how to get your hands on one of those swords right away? Or perhaps you are thinking of another woman for you and bethie to bed and breed?" Leo teased his friend some more.
Percy said to him, "well yes, but no. I was thinking on the fact that if some of us did go to space, how would we speak to any other being? What exactly would we eat? Where would we live? How would we live? How and where would we earn money? These are all things that we would have to think about before agreeing to anything. Because honestly, I can't see the gods helping out much. I also already have a suspicion that the gods are going to force me to go, simply to get rid of me. What should I do in that case? What if one of the other pantheons attack while our stronger warriors are gone? While I don't think the Norse or Egyptians would cause any harm to the mortals, I can't say the same for some of the deities from all religions. Many of whom are just waiting, biding their time until we are gone, whether that be leaving the mythological world behind or joining Hades in his ever growing kingdom, it doesn't matter. As much as it pains me to admit it, the gods don't really even care for the mortals, it's just a matter of pride and territory for them. If the other deities wanted to slaughter all of mankind, the Olympians wouldn't bat an eyelash. They sicken me. There needs to be a check point, a system to keep them in check." his sea green eyes darkened, the waves began to furiously beat against the shore. (10)
Leo, feeling Percy's anger start to rise, spoke up quickly, "hey, you're at camp right now, okay? Just remember if it comes down to it, we all have your back. Family comes first. I have to ask, however, what started your whole spiel about the gods? We all know they are terrible rulers, but why get bent out of shape over them? Hell if we must, once I see what we have to work with, we could always build more space crafts to move humans off the planet, and then the gods can have their little death matches."
"Well, I guess there is that. I would rather it not come to that though. I don't know, I just have a bad feeling about the future right now, that's all. It's probably nothing, I might just be feeling this way due to the upcoming trip to space. I don't think even the fates themselves would do something this horrible. We should table this discussion for another time, Chiron and Nico are waiting for us up ahead." the young sea prince declared, before nodding towards the big house railing, where the legendary trainer stood, alongside their friend, Nico.
Walking up to the steps, Chiron gave Percy a hug, before throwing him a look, one that spoke of many things. Pride, pain, respect, love, wisdom, and sadness.
"Nico has told me about the gods' orders, as well as these strangers. Tell me Perseus, what do you think about it? About their situation? Will you go? If so who will you take with you?" the wise old mentor spoke to his favorite and greatest pupil. One who made him proud beyond measure, the one who acknowledged him more like another father, rather than just a mentor or friend.
"honestly? I don't know. Part of me wants to go, to explore the universe. Travel around the planets, meeting different people and seeing how they live, I even want to train with these Jedi, I am interested in seeing how they fight. Yet there is a part of me that dreads leaving, because of what could happen here once I go. I don't think the gods are going to give me a choice in the matter, they will most likely order me to go. As for who will go with me? Well that's really up to whomever chooses to go." the powerful warrior said.
"in that case, perhaps we should speak to the campers? I have already taken liberty of calling them all to the amphitheater. We should head over there, afterwards, I wish for you to come to the big house, we have much more to discuss." the ancient centaur told his students, before they all headed over to the building.
"Heroes, quiet! We have some important news for you all, so settle down. Perseus, the floor is yours." he turned towards his former student.
Looking out at the faces all staring at him, the demigod son of Poseidon gathered his thoughts, and said, "well it's like this…." (11)
Having finished his speech, he could see several were thinking long and hard about what he had told them all. Leo, Nico, and Chiron were all impassive, having already heard about what he said, and were, in Nico's and chiron's cases, going to hear more on his thoughts later.
"go back to your cabins, and think long and hard about what I just told you all." Percy commanded, seeing the demigods faces as they nodded, he turned and walked to the big house, with Chiron, Nico, and Leo following him.
Getting inside, he then told Chiron and Nico his thoughts about his thoughts on what could happen if he were to take many demigods with him. Chiron sighed, "I don't think that would happen. The other pantheons have left us alone for the most part, I don't see why that would change."
"well Chiron, if we were to make most of the demigods leave, including the most powerful ones, what exactly would be here to stop them? The Olympians? Don't get me started on them! You know as well as I do, they don't truly care about mortals, other than just as entertainment! The gods are just as bad as the titans, in all honesty." Percy snapped.
"I hope it's just the unease of heading into the deep reaches of space, that is making me feel this way, but I can't shake the feeling that something mythological is coming, and it's not good." his favorite student spoke up again.
"when the time comes Perseus, we can only be ready and prepared to the best of our ability. What is destined to happen, as determined by the fates, will happen. However, I have faith in you. If anyone can stop something such as this, then it will be you." chiron's words spoke of assurance, as if he truly believed Percy could do such a thing. Percy was moved beyond words. Chiron, really had that much faith in him?
"besides, you will have all of the campers, from half-blood and Jupiter, to assist you, alongside the hunters, the amazons, and all of the nature spirits. I am sure even the armies of both the underworld and the depths, will join the fray. You won't be alone in this endeavor, if it comes down to it, which in all fairness, we don't even have a guarantee it will happen. So I say we all prepare, while also remembering to enjoy life. As Leo said, if the worst case scenario does come to pass, he can ask his dad for a favor, or get the Athena and Hephaestus cabins, along with the Vulcan cabins, to go overdrive and begin mass producing ships, and we can evacuate the humans from the planet." Nico said.
"I'm impressed, Nico. That was actually an inspiring speech from you." Percy told his honorary little brother as he reached over and ruffled his hair, earning a scowl from said teenager.
"now, we need to plan our course of action here. Perseus, will you go? Who will you take with you?" Chiron once again brought the question back.
Percy thought for a moment, "yes, I will go, it's too good of an opportunity to pass up. As for who I will take? Well, how about…?" (12)
and that's a wrap people, sorry for the lack of action, been trying to think on some things and build up some ideas.

4.) I had to give Percy some kind of issues/flaws, and I think he could have some minor anger issues, especially towards gods and goddesses
