A/N: I have to say this for obvious reasons… I saw the American Sailor Moon Piot... it was so cheesy and I wonder what the anime fandom would be like if that was picked up instead... Enjoy the chapter...
Chapter 3: The First Day
It would be a couple more months until school would start. Still Izuku would be going to UA! And he was excited.
He was at first nervus due to his quirk but thanks to something that Setsuna said while talking about using his quirk he got it down.
Thankfully Setsuna also helped him by letting him use a training room in her agency on days when he didn't have school.
He did have to finish middle school after all.
Also Ochaco had to find a cheap apartment in town, and found one not too far away from Izuku's place.
Inko offered Ochaco to join them for dinner whenever she wanted it.
In fact the day she moved in, Inko had a dinner for not only the three of them.
And Toshinori who joined them for dinner as well.
"You didn't have to invite me too…" said Toshinori.
"You're the one who help Izuku with his dreams. OF course you should be here too." Said Inko.
"I don't know about that…" said Toshinori.
Ochaco looked at the two who seemed to awkward around each other.
"Are they dating?" asked Ochaco.
"No they're not… I don't even think they like each other that way." Said Izuku.
He was in denial due to many reasons.
Such the reasons that he didn't want to get his hopes up about the two being in a relationship. After all it is the dream of every child of a single mother (and sometimes father… depending on certain circumstances) that their parent would date All Might…
Bu still eventually it was time for the first day at UA.
Ochaco waited outside of Izuku's apartment, he was taking ai while but they would go to school together.
"Mom wanted to make sure I had everything." Said Izuku.
Ochaco giggled at her friend.
Izuku looked at Ochaco.
They were both wearing the UA uniformed that had gray blazers and dark blue green pants for boys and skirts for girls.
He looked at Ochaco and started blushing.
"What's wrong?" asked Ochaco.
"It's nothing." Said Izuku.
However he was thinking, "She's really cute in the uniform."
They made it to the school.
The two looked at the large door to their classroom. It was very big.
"It must be for people who can't turn off their giantism quirks!" he marveled.
He reached for the door handle and hesitated.
"What's wrong?" asked Ochaco.
"I'm worried about Kacchan or that one guy being the class." Said Izuku.
"You mean the guy who called you out at the exam?" asked Ochaco, "Didn't he apologize to you for something."
"Oh yeah." Said Izuku.
He opened the door and of course right when he got in two people were arguing.
The tall boy and a blonde boy not wearing the tie of the uniform.
As it turned out he was the childhood friend/ bully to Izuku a boy named Katsuki Bakugo or Kacchan as Izuku couldn't say his name was while he was little.
Bakugo glared harshly at Izuku.
However the tall boy walked over to Izuku.
"I'm Tenya Iida from Some…" said the tall boy.
He then bowed.
"I apologize for my behavior during the exam. Not only that but I now understand that you're a better hero candidate than I am." Said the boy named Iida.
"It's okay…" said Izuku.
"No… you truly figured out the exam that I didn't know about." Said Iida.
"What?" asked Izuku.
"Oh I think he means rescue points." Said Ochaco.
"Oh yeah! I didn't know about those." Said Izuku blushing.
"He rescued me because that's the type of person he is." Giggled Ochaco.
Izuku blushed at the comment.
The pink girl who saw them at the entrance tried not to sequel that two of them were there.
However that was when they noticed behind Ochaco and Izuku was a man in a yellow sleeping bag.
They all jumped as the man got up.
"It took you 8 seconds to quiet down that's 8 second wasted." He said.
He took a sip from a jelly pouch.
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa." He said, then took out the gym uniforms, "I want you all to put these on and meet outside… and you better take less than 10 minutes."
All of the students were confused and followed his directions.
They had all gathered outside.
"All right! We're going to be doing a Quirk Assessment." Said Aizawa.
"Wait, what about Orientation?" asked Ochaco.
"UA High has a free style teaching style, we're given a lot of leeway, and I don't see the purpose of such frailties." Said Aizawa.
He talked about how it was credential how school didn't measure a student's quirk and called up Bakugo for having the highest score telling him to perform a ball throw with is quirk.
His quirk let him create explosion from an explode sweat.
And because of that the ball was tossed very far away thanks to his quirk.
He also yelled "DIE!" while tossing the ball.
The explosion sent the ball flying big time shocking the class.
Aizawa then showed the distance on his phone, which was over 700 meters.
"No way!" said a boy with spikey red hair.
"We get to use our quirks this is going to be so much fun!" cheered a pink girl.
"You think this is all fun?" asked Aizawa.
The class knew that the pink girl said something bad.
"Whoever get last place will be expelled." He said.
"That's not fair!" cried Ochaco.
"You want fair! There are so many things that could go wrong in the filed… fires, accidents, murphy's law. You're not going to hang out after school at McDonald's and if you want to, go to another school…You're training to be heroes." said Aizawa.
The rest of the class was quiet after that speech.
However the first real test wasn't the ball throw but rather the 50 meter dash.
As the other students ran,. Ochaco knew she had to ask Izuku about his quirk.
"Have you trained?" asked Ochaco.
"I have." Said Izuku.
(Flashback)
After eLearning the truth about his mysterious healing powers and the fact that Setsuna was far older than h thought they talked about One for All and how he used it.
He brought up how to control like an egg in the microwave.
However as Izuku and Toshinori was talking about that, Setsuna realized something.
"Wait… I have an idea that might be better." Said Setsuna, "What if you treated it like you were a balloon."
Izuku blinked, sure Setsuna didn't know how quirks worked for the most part, but she did know a bit about their quirk.
He realized how he used during the exam… by putting all of the energy into his limbs.
But if he spread it though out his body…
"Wait! You're right!" said Izuku.
He filled it though out his body, and he started to spark… and with doing this he was able to better regulate.
"I don't think you should use it right now." Said Toshinori.
"You're right… maybe when you have time you can train it at my agency." Said Setsuna.
"Oh yeah… you're right." Said Izuku.
Setsuna breathed a sighed of relief as he turned off the quirk.
(End of Flashback)
Thankfully Izuku got it down by this point.
"Midoriya, Bakugo you're up!" called out Aizawa.
The two of them were at the starting line.
Izuku channeled his quirk thorough his body.
And they were given the go ahead to go.
Izuku spirited very quickly as Bakugo shot explosions from his hands.
However Izuku beat him by a couple seconds.
"What the fuck was that DEKU!" yelled Bakugo going to attack him.
Izuku flinched.
However Bakugo found he couldn't use his explosion as he was suddenly wrapped up with a strange scarf that Aizawa wore. Not only that but his eyes were glowing red as his hair floated.
"What the fuck is this!" yelled Bakugo.
"It's a special capture weapon… I don't know why you're attacking Midoriya but stop it… I'm not going to let you attack him either." Said Aizawa, "As for your quirk not working… that's my work."
"No way! You're Eraserhead"! yelled Izuku.
"I've never heard of him." Said a blonde boy with a black streak in his hair.
"he's an underground hero!" said Izuku.
Aizawa sighed as he let go of Bakugo who was glaring Harshly at Izuku.
"You did great Izu-Kun." Said Ochaco.
"You really think so?" asked Izuku blushing.
Ochaco nodded.
However they're classmates noticed how the two were getting along.
"Oh they're so cute together." Said an invisible girl.
"I know right! I totally ship them!" said Mina.
"Oh come on…" groaned a short boy with ball hair.
And soon enough the other tests happened.
Izuku did well overall, Ochaco did okay, getting nowhere near last place.
Though for some reason Ochaco and Izuku couldn't help to watch some of the other girls in class…
Including the pink girl named Mina Ashido who was able to shoot acid.
As well as the girl who was one of the two recommendation students named Momo Yaoyorozu who could create anything.
However there something else that needed to be cleared up… As the test were going on, Aizawa knew he had to ask something.
"Midoriya we need to talk." He said.
"Okay…" he said nervously.
They talked away from the other students.
"I saw the exam footage. How come you broke yourself during the exam but not here?" he wanted to know.
"Oh… um… I thought you knew." Said Izuku.
"Know what?" asked Aizawa.
"That I only got my quirk during the exam." Said Izuku.
"What?" asked Aizawa.
"I wasn't able to use my quirk until I gained enough muscle mass… I would have hurt myself worse than what happened during the exam if I had used it then." Said Izuku, "But after the exam a pro hero helped me train and control my quirk."
"I see… it wasn't All Might was it?" asked Aizawa.
"No it was Lady Pluto." Said Izuku.
Aizawa sighed.
IT was a well-known fact that All Might and Lady Pluto were close and people often questioned their relationship. They did insist to the press that they saw each other as family but not anywhere romantic at all.
So he wasn't surprised by this answer.
He had seen All Might watch time after all…
It was soon time for the Ball Throw.
And this time Ochaco got top score.
As he just removed the Gravity Fall from the ball and was given a score of infinity.
"That was amazing Ochaco!" cheered Izuku.
"Thanks!" said Ochaco blushing.
Bakugo on the other hand was angry.
Not because of that… but rather his mom and Inko were best friends.
And she had gotten word that "Izuku had a girlfriend."
He figured she was exaggerating things, but this was proof that it wasn't by much.
After the remaining events.
"All right… I won't' go into details about the scoring… but this is the ranking." Said Aizawa.
He used his phone and hologram projector to show the scores.
Izuku saw his name under third place.
He also beat out Bakugo who was very angry about it.
Ochaco was somewhere in the middle, no doubt gotten a high score thanks to the ball toss.
However the short boy with balls for hair was crying, as his name was Minoru Mineta and he had gotten last place.
"By the way I lying when I said I was going to expel whoever got last place it was a logical ruse to get everyone to do their best." Said Aizawa.
Most of the class was shocked.
"It was obvious." Said Yaoyorozu, "I figured that out right away…"
Everyone in the class stared at her.
"You should have told us." They all thought.
Plus it didn't help she had gotten first place.
"Yes! I can still impress the ladies!" cheered Mineta.
All six of the girls in class stared at him.
"All right there are Syllabus in class and you can pick them up… other than that class is dismissed." Said Aizawa.
They all headed to the locker rooms.
However all of them had noticed something as they got changed.
"So Uraraka…" said Ashido as they all gotten changes, "You and Midoriya… right?"
"We're not dating…" said Ochaco, "He's just a friend really!"
"Come on girl! You are totally into him." Said the invisible named Toru Hagakure.
"Honestly… who cares…" said a girl with purple hair and audio jacks draining from her ears, her name was Kyoka Jiro.
"If they're together they don't have to tell you… ribbit." Said a girl with a frog quirk named Tsuyu Asui.
Meanwhile in the boy's locker room.
"Okay Midoriya! Right?" asked Mineta, "How did you do it!"
"Do what?" asked Izuku.
"Already get a girlfriend in class!" said Mineta,
"Yeah I was thinking about asking her out. But it's clear she's already taken." Said the boy with blonde hair and a black streak who was named Denki Kaminari.
"We're not dating/." Said Izuku, then then started to glare at him, "And even if we were please don't ask her out…"
"They must be in denial about their feelings." Said a boy who seemed to sparkle named Yuga Aoyama.
"We're just friends! Honestly!" said Izuku.
Bakugo just gritted his teeth, finished getting changed and left the locker room.
"What was that about?" asked a boy with a weird things on his elbows were made name, named Hanta Sero.
"I don't think it's a good idea to get into it…" said Izuku with a sweat drop .
Meanwhile outside…
Aizawa was walking when he called out "Are you done watching?"
As it turned out Toshinori was watching.
Turned out Aizawa did have a habit of expelling students. Including his whole class the year before.
However before Toshinori could ask him more questions about it, someone interrupted him…
"Actually it was a Logical Ruse… I had asked him to no expel any one from his class this year." Said the voice Principal.
Aizawa froe.
"Officially he could, but then he'd lose certain privileges." Said the vice Principial.
"Really what?" asked Toshinori.
"Please don't…" said Aizawa.
The vice preanal gave a sly smile.
"He wouldn't be allowed to baby sit my daughter anymore." Said the vice principal.
"Really Tsukino…" muttered Aizawa.
"I have my reason for doing it this year… but still…" said the vice principal her name was Keiko Tsukino… well her actual name was far more complicated, but she went by Luna as her hero name.
Aizawa was muttering things under his breath .
"Is he a good baby sitter?" asked Toshinori.
"He's her favorite." Said Keiko with a smirk.
"Oh! You're Sho-Sho?" asked Toshinori.
Aizawa face palmed.
"He is indeed Sho-Sho…" said Keiko.
"How do you even know about that!" yelled Aizawa.
"Well you see… All Might is actually her Uncle Toshi." Said Keiko.
"It's true." Said All Might.
Keiko's daughter had told him about her "Uncle Toshi" who was a really strong hero but was really busy so he couldn't baby sit her often.
Aizawa's eye hadn't stop twitching.
In fact the other two walked away from him .
"So you had to make sure that they weren't expelled." Said Toshinori.
"I couldn't help them. All 6 of them are in Class 1-A… Honestly I don't know why Nezu put them all in his class…" she sighed, "But I'm not going to lose any of them… Not until they know at least…"
Toshinori nodded.
Not too long later, Izuku was waiting outside for Ochaco.
Once again Inko was making a celebratory dinner for the two of them.
That was when Someone grabbed his shoulder.
As it turned out it was Iida.
"Sorry for startling you." Said Iida.
"It's fine." Said Izuku.
"Are you headed for the train station?" asked Iida.
"Yeah but I'm also waiting for Ochaco." Said Izuku .
"I see…" said Iida.
It was clear that Iida was trying to befriend him.
"Still Aizawa lying about expelling us…" said Iida.
"Yeah…" said Izuku.
"Izu-Kun!" called out Ochaco, "You ready?"
"I am!" said Izuku.
"Ah Infinity Girl!" said Iida.
"It's Ochaco Uraraka…" said Ochaco.
"Oh yes." Said Iida.
"He's headed for the train station too." Said Izuku.
"Oh cool!" said Ochaco.
Izuku was happy that he made another friend.
And three of them headed to the train station together.
However he didn't see a woman floating in the air.
"UA students…" she said, "They should be the perfect targets for our new weapon…"
And little did they know that things were going to change as they're real destiny would finally come fruition.
Next Time: A mysterious woman attacks, Tenya in a very strange way during the walk to the train station. However what will happen when Ochaco and Izuku awaken their powers... especially since Ochaco wasn't expecting it completely... What will happen... find out next time!
A/N: Two things I want to mention... the whole thinking himself as a balloon is something that hit my very recently and I hope it catches on in the fandom because that's a good way to think of using One for All, by "blowing himself up" and stopping at the right pressure before he pops.
As for Luna's human name of Keiko as I got it from her orignal VA... No much to say about that...
