A Not So Friendly Reunion
Now we are going to look more into what The Destroyer is planning now. After RDJ and the others left the burial chamber, they will of course be running into more trouble. But how will they deal with it? Let's find out together…shall we?
A few hours had passed since the head of the assassins and his group of friends entered into the next burial chamber to receive the key. The streets were pretty dead quiet since the heatwave entered the city. It being almost summer time and all.
This was the perfect opportunity for The Remainders and the assassins to carry out their duties and without being spotted by the humans.
RDJ slowly pushed open this sarcophagus from the inside, and managed to lift it right out of the way due to his upper body strength. Then he climbed out of the empty space, and turned to help his friends out.
"Come on, this way!" He spoke to his friends as one by one he helped them out into the open. With Keith being the last one to climb out. "Wow Keith, with a bit more training you could almost be stronger than me."
"Almost? Is that a wing wrestle challenge you're offering?" The barn owl jokily responded, giving him a nudge.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves! Now…we have the second key in our possession. We just have to head off to a quick pit stop before heading back."
"But mentor, isn't your wife waiting for you to…you know?" Monifa replied shyly, scratching the back of her head. "Get intimate with each other?"
"I've already discussed it with Lila that I intend to kill my brother. I know it seems a bit strange for me. But…I can't let him keep trying to pursue my wife! Believe me…if any of our wives were here and he still tried to pursue Lila, then it clearly isn't a coincidence!"
"What makes you say that?"
"I'm not sure…but Jameson and Alex were right from the beginning! Something clearly isn't right with that guy, and I'm not taking any more chan…" RDJ was just about to finish his sentence, but someone put a wing on his shoulder and he used his quick reflexes to flip whoever that was over his shoulder, and point his hidden blade at them. "WHO THE HELL ARE…Aiden?"
"MENTOR! IT'S ME! IT'S ME!" The scarlet male replied in a shocked manner, lifting both of his wings up.
"Don't sneak up on me like that! You know if you were one of them, I would have cut your throat!" The blue and gold male replied with annoyance, as he picked him up so he could stand on his feet. "Where even were you?"
"Me and…Allie were on a patrol and we found…a weapons cache!" Aiden smiled triumphantly and clapped his wings together.
"Really?! That's great! What did you take?" Alex's eye lit up when he said this. He was very eager to know what weapons he took.
"I found a shotgun and six boxes full of thirty rounds! And Allie found what was like a strong slingshot looking thing. Then we ran into a bit of trouble, so I shot two Remainders and we got the hell out of there. Then I told her to go back to the church while I came here to meet you!"
"Wow…so, could you tell us where it is? To see if we can take anything of use?" Monifa pondered, rubbing her wings together.
"Oooh…right…about that…" Aiden muttered nervously, scratching the back of his head. But…to save him from any embarrassment…
"YOU IDIOTS!" Suddenly, all of them quickly shot their heads over to the commotion that was going on in front of the cemetery entrance.
A group of The Remainders were standing in a straight line like they were in the military. This was pretty unusual for them, as they normally just travel in a bunch.
"Mentor, do we take them out?" Aiden asked as he pulled his shotgun out.
"At ease kid. We have to find out what they are up to!" RDJ pushed the barrel of the gun down and crept closer to the front gates of the graveyard. Focusing his attention on the enemy cautiously like a hawk.
As all of The Remainders stood up straight with their heads facing forwards, pretty soon The Destroyer arrived on the scene and began pacing up and down in front of them like he was a sergeant.
"What are you up to Destroyer?!" RDJ grumbled, hiding right behind a tombstone to avoid being spotted.
The Destroyer just glared blankly into all of their eyes as he passed them. Not breaking eye contact with a single guard. When he repeated this same action again, he stopped in front of one military macaw. Looked him dead in the eye…and just started…laughing?
"Hahahaha…ahhhhh…So, you ummmm…are telling me that…our entire weapons supply has been…destroyed?" The Destroyer asked his soldier, who nervously nodded his head. Not even daring to look him in the eye. "Was…all of it…destroyed?" He asked again, circling around that one particular guard.
RDJ smirked in amusement when hearing this, and patted Aiden on the back. "Nice work kid!"
"Thanks mentor!" Aiden whispered back and nodded his head.
"Y-Y-Y-Yes my master!" He was so scared that he actually peed himself a little bit. Causing his master to gradually look down at his talons. Then he slowly looked back up to look straight into his soul.
"Oooh no! You had a little accident? Here…Allow me to save you the many days of embarrassment…" The Destroyer replied quite calmly at first as he wrapped a wing around him like he was his close friend or something. But…after a couple seconds of silence he changed his facial expression and pulled out a machete, and rammed it right through his throat out through the neck on the other side.
"AAAACCCKKKKKKAAAAAAaaaaaa…" The guard choked on his own blood and fell flat on his back as he slipped into a lifeless state.
"You fucking psychopath!" RDJ thought to himself, narrowing his eyes at his main threat. "I'm gonna kill this bastard when I get the chance…"
"Let this be a lesson to ANYBODY, who fucks up! Our ENTIRE weapons supply is now gone! Our weapons factory is GONE! We have no choice but to raid the birds of this city of their weapons and cargo! The assassin RDJ is here in the city! And his gang of puny assassins and pussies! If you find him, I want you to end his life! If you see that blue macaw girl, you bring her to me!" The Destroyer bellowed in irritation, as his guards saluted him with respect. "ALIVE! Fred will be there to meet you to discuss what the next phase of the plan is!"
"YES MASTER!" All of them simultaneously replied before lowering their wings to their sides.
"You lot will be going to the church off the coast of the beach! There you will find his little associates and the girl! Kill all of them apart from her! Do NOT fail me, or you will end up like your friend here! NOW MOVE IT!"
"YES MASTER!" All of them replied in fear and pulled out their weapons before heading off in pursuit of the samba club team.
As for The Destroyer himself, he set off in a completely different direction to sort out his own personal errands.
"Grrrr! I knew that Fred was involved with The Destroyer somehow! And you didn't believe me!" Alex cockily whispered and did a mild little chuckle. But that was until RDJ shot him a very annoyed killer glare. Making him gulp in fear. "Or…you know…how could we know that? In f-f-fact…who even is Fred?! Is he like a pelican or something?"
"Very manly Alex…" Keith mumbled to him…earning a slap from Aiden on the back of his head.
As the group of The Remainders dispersed, RDJ swallowed a lump in his throat and turned to face his friends. "Okay, my brother may be the guy who The Destroyer is meeting? Aiden, Alex, Monifa and Keith! I want you guys to head back to the church and protect the others!"
"Yes mentor! But…what will you be doing?" Monifa asked, cocking her head to the side.
"I'm following that fucker to where ever he's going! Hopefully, if I'm lucky I might be able to catch him meeting Fred. Then I can end both of their lives! Now quickly go! I'll see you guys back at the church!" RDJ beamed and was about to set off, but just before he left, he pulled the key out of his bag and gave it to his student. "Monifa, take this key and once you're finished sending those Remainders to hell, put this in the same chest I left the first one!"
"Yes mentor, I promise I won't let you down!" She nodded proudly while smiling at him.
"I know you won't, you're a good student! And soon you'll be a great assassin! Now go! Go!" His four friends hastily departed to get to the church before the guards do. And just like that, the head of the assassins began his own pursuit. As he saw that The Destroyer was walking down a gloomy ally. "Alright Destroyer…let's find out where you're going…"
Let's Briefly Check In On The Church…
Back at the main base for the assassins, Allie was currently sitting in the study with the map and the book with they key locations. But…she was really struggling to concentrate on what she was doing. Because the conversation she had with Aiden really hit her in a vulnerable spot. She did look like she had cried for a little while, but she did her best to try and dry her eyes to not look like she was upset.
"Okay…so the first coordinate is here…" She pin points a spot on the map, and then using a pencil to write the numbers down. "And the…Haaaa…For fuck sake!" She picked up a grape and threw it at the wall. Burying her face in her wings. "Oooh god! I hope I didn't wreck our friendship?!"
"Who's friendship?"
"AHHHHHH!" Allie jumped to her feet when hearing the new voice in the room, and once she turned her head around she saw Jameson and Raul standing in the doorway. "Oooh, it's you guys! Sorry about that…I'm a little jumpy!"
"Sorry for scaring you Allie! We heard you crying from the next room? Is everything alright?" Raul asked her kindly and patted her on the back.
"Ohhh I'm just fine Raul. I'm just…I'm a little upset about a certain…conversation I just had." The pink macaw lowered her head sadly, wiping her tears away.
(Ahhhh…I think I see what's going on here…)
Devil Darkness spoke in a calm voice, while she looked back up at Jameson with sore eyes.
"You…you do?"
(I think I noticed it the past few weeks Allie. You like Aiden)
"How did you know?" She asked softly, wiping her face with her wings.
(The way you guys look at each other like that? That's exactly the way me and Devine used to look at each other. He clearly is into you? He just…has a hard time expressing his emotions)
"Well he could just tell me if he's scared! I mean…I haven't really been this close to anyone before. And…now I'm afraid that I might have scared him away?" Allie didn't want to feel upset about the whole thing. But after confessing her true feelings to her close friend, she didn't know how to feel about the response she received.
"Allie…listen to me." Raul took her wing with his and sat down on the chair that was next to hers. Rubbing it softly in a friendly manner. "Let me give you some really valuable advice that I've learned the past few days."
"Ohh…okay?"
"When it comes to telling someone how you feel…you as the individual have every right to tell that someone! Life is way too short to be scared and worrying about the unknown or things that are yet to come? In life you have to take major risks! Because I find that…for you to get the things you want, you have to take the risks! Grab the bull with two horns! Then ram that horn up the enemy's butt!"
"Dude, that last bit is just sick!" Jameson slapped him on the back of his head.
"OW! Look, all I'm saying, is that don't be upset about taking a risk Allie? Did he at least say anything in return?" The scarlet macaw asked her, before she shook her head from side to side. "Then that means he is thinking about what you just said! I don't wanna jinx it, but I think that's a sign that he feels the same way about you."
"Really? You think so?" Allie felt a ray of hope strike her heart, showing a fairly small smile.
"He's right Allie! If he didn't say the word no? Or say he doesn't feel the same? Or if he just tried to change the subject, maybe he does reciprocate your feelings! But is afraid to tell you, because he doesn't know how to express these emotions!" The black owl male spoke encouragingly, lifting her up onto her talons. "Now, I think you should take a break from the map for a little while! Let's all just head outside and…"
"GUYS! GUYS! GET OUT HERE!"
Jaime came flying into the room full panic mode, pulling Jameson and Allie by their wings to get them to go outside.
"Jaime bud, what's going on?" Jameson chuckled when seeing what his reaction was like.
"REMAINDERS! OUTSIDE! SIX OF EM'! COME ON!" The blue jay didn't waste a single moment of their time and escorted them out of the building. As for Allie herself, she decided to stay behind and out of the way. She wasn't really in the mood to fight right now.
Just Outside The Church…
"My my my! Aren't we lucky today lads?" A male scarlet macaw chuckled sadistically while opening his wings up. "I'm surprised your so called mentor isn't here to save you? Well…lucky for you sweetheart, you're off the hook!" He referred to Lila while winking at her. "As for the rest of you, I'm afraid you're gonna have to die!"
(Over my dead body!)
Devil Darkness bellowed as he instantly took over from Jameson and shot both his tentacles out ready for battle.
"So? The Destroyer was right! Devil Darkness does exist! How about we just take the cube instead? And the sexy blue girl for our master!"
"NOT SO FAST!"
"Huaaaa…no…it…it can't be?!" The male scarlet macaw heard a loud booming voice over the horizon. And once he spun around to confirm his suspicions.
"BACK OFF FROM MY FRIENDS!" Aiden arrived at the scene with Alex, Monifa and Keith arriving besides him. All of them getting ready for a battle.
"Well well well! If it isn't our old buddy? Our old pal? Nice to see you…Aiden!" The Remainder chuckled sadistically with the rest of his group. As they all crossed their wings and laughed out loud hysterically.
"I wish I could say the same about you…Johnny!" He replied in a dark voice, as he stood up straight in front of the bird who was revealed to be as Johnny.
Both of them were locked in a destroy stare down…neither side me of them taking their eyes off of the other.
"Aiden? You know these guys?!" Tomada asked, getting his tomahawk at the ready.
"Old friends…" Aiden replied in the same tone, not taking his eyes off of his former friend.
"Yeah, until you betrayed us!" Johnny grumbled, as he tightened his wings into fists.
"I DIDN'T BETRAY YOU!"
"YES YOU DID! YOU WERE PART OF OUR GROUP TO SERVE THE DESTROYER AND THE THUGS FOR YEARS! WE WORKED FOR FELIX, BUT WHAT HAPPENED WHEN HE DIED?! YOU LEFT US!" Johnny screamed in rage as he threw a machete towards him, but he luckily was saved by Monifa, who caught it swiftly and threw it into the ocean. "Impressive…"
"I left you…because you were killing innocent birds!" The scarlet macaw male grumbled irritably as he felt the blood boiling in his stomach. "I chose a better path…"
"Just remember Aiden? Who took you in when you left your home? We did! Who gave you refuge when you needed protection? We did! And who was willing to fight by your side amongst all the bloodshed and tears lost in battle? We were! You…are nothing but a traitor! Working for the likes of RD-Gay!" Johnny rose his voice as he felt his temper flaring.
"HIS NAME IS RDJ! AND HE IS MY HUSBAND!" Lila growled at the leader angrily, as she was being held back by Jacqueline and Jaime.
"Ahhhh…now I see why The Destroyer wants you? Fiery! Passionate! I dig that!"
"Well you will have to go through me first!" Aiden stepped up to him, narrowing his eyes at his former best friend. "I will take all of you on by myself!"
"Pffft! Good one Aiden! What's next? You're then gonna blast the moon with one punch?" Johnny burst into laughter again along with his group.
"We find a place! That small island over there!" Aiden pointed his wing out to a small abandoned island off the coast of Mexico. Then lowered his wing to his side. "All six of you against me! Let's go!" Aiden insisted as he gestured with his wing for the group of Remainders to fight him on the small island. "After you…"
"Pffft! This will be easier than taking bird seed off a chick!" Johnny scoffed in a cocky manner, and motioned with his head for the group to follow him. Then one by one they flapped their wings to fly off to start the battle.
After Aiden departed himself, Jaime took him lightly by the wing and spun him around to face him. "This is suicidal Aiden! You are gonna get killed out there!" The blue jay male warned him with nothing but concern in his eyes.
"Don't worry about me, I…" As he was about to finish his sentence…he caught a glimpse of Allie who was standing on top of the bell tower. With tears running down her cheeks, giving him a very painful look. Showing that she is hurting by the fact that Aiden hadn't returned her affections. But peculiarly, he too felt a small pain in his heart from gazing at her with so much confusion. "…I just want to get this over with…Before I start to think things through in my head…"
"What things?"
"Nothing…now you can either watch or stay here? What's your decision?" He gave him a serious look…as if he really didn't want to do this. But felt like that he had to do this.
"We will watch in case you need the backup!" Monifa spoke up for all of them, then turned towards Lila. "As for you, it's probably best that you and Jacqueline stay here with Allie! We can't afford losing you to these assholes!"
Both blue spix's macaw females turned to each other and nodded their heads, before proceeding back into the church. Leaving the others to leave with Aiden to watch the fight.
"Okay…let's just get this over with!" Aiden sighed heavily in annoyance, as team samba club set off for the small island.
Not really knowing what Aiden had got himself into this time. But…they knew that this was something that he had to do. So of course they aren't going to judge how he acts about this.
Let's Turn Our Attention Back To RDJ…
The head of the assassins continued to lurk among the rooftops of certain stores and restaurants in the city. Keeping a good separation distance from the enemy he was tailing.
"Come on, come on! Where are you going Destroyer?" RDJ thought to himself as he pulled his hood further over his head to hide his face more. "Are you going to meet Fred? Hmmm…I wonder if he is doing your dirty work for you?"
He noticed the thug leader quickly checking over his shoulder to check if anyone was following him. Luckily he didn't see the assassin as he was well hidden. Then he strolled down another dark alley.
RDJ leapt from one roof to another and followed him closely from the rooftops. Keeping a very close eye on him.
Luckily, the chase didn't go on for too long. The Destroyer entered a small building on the right hand side of him. Which actually appeared to be the very same building that Aiden and Allie were in moments ago.
"Jeez, this kid managed to destroy an entire floor? This kid might end up being more deadly than me?" RDJ thought to himself and scanned the building for any entry points. "Bingo!" He spotted a window that had been smashed fairly recently…and he swung on a lampshade, before hopping through the window quietly. Crouching down while he was slowly approaching the next room. Which had now been filled with petrified Remainders. Who clearly weren't looking forward to their leader's reaction.
In the now completely burnt and destroyed room…every single weapon that The Remainders had in storage was irreplaceable. None of them could be salvaged from the explosion…which put them in a really terrible position.
"Fuck! The Destroyer is not gonna like this! What are we gonna do Cameron?!" A red bellied macaw male asks his boss. Who was feeling equally as uneasy as the others were.
"I don't know? He doesn't react well to these things! I'm more worried about what he might do to one of us…" The blue throated macaw spoke with so much fear…that he didn't even notice his boss entering the room behind him.
"FUCK!"
All of them quickly stood up straight and stayed stock still when hearing the voice they all shivered at.
The Destroyer stomped his way right over towards his men, and gripped both of his wings into fists. As he wasn't impressed at all by how they handled the situation here.
"WHO LET THIS HAPPEN?!" The Destroyer growled and picked a bird up with his wing around his throat. "WAS IT YOU?!"
"No…Ackkkk…Master!" The guard wheezed in pain, struggling to breathe.
His leader threw him into a glass case and picked up a chair before throwing it at the wall. "AHHHHHHHH! When I find out who did this…I'm gonna fucking kill them!"
"But master. We know who could have done this! The very same bird who…" Cameron was about to reply, but then The Destroyer grabbed him by the throat.
"You think…I never thought of that?! He was in the burial chambers when this happened! So it couldn't have been RDJ!"
"I know! B-B-But what about his friends?! They could have been ordered to do it?!"
"Hmmmm…very true!" The Destroyer let go of Cameron's throat and placed him down on the floor as he coughed and gasped for his oxygen back. "Listen up! I want all of you right now to raid the birds of this city! Take EVERYTHING that they have! I want to see results! As for myself, I will now be tending to the prisoner that we have until further notice…"
"Prisoner? What prisoner?" RDJ thought to himself as he leaned in to focus more on the conversation.
"Fernando is locked up tight under the old prison in the west from here! He will surely give me the information I need!" The Destroyer grumbled in irritation, as he walked out of the room in a hurry. "Do NOT disappoint me again!"
RDJ decided to stay low for a few seconds more to wait for The Remainders to leave the room. Once the floor was completely empty…he grumbled with anger when hearing the name of the prisoner.
"Grrrrrrr! I better make sure I beat The Destroyer to the prison! If Fernando was hurt in any way…I swear I will kill that son of a bitch who kidnapped him!"
The blue and gold male leapt back out of the window behind him, and set off once more to search for this hidden prison.
Now Let's Finally Head Back To Aiden…
"Alright Aiden! We are here?! How do you wanna do this?!" Johnny eagerly spoke as everybody but Lila, Jacqueline and Allie gathered on this small island for the fight between Aiden and The Remainders.
"I will take all of you on! I will be sure to end you for the amount of pain you've inflicted upon the innocent!" Aiden growled with rage…as his blood boiled at the sight of his former group. As they all just chuckled sadistically and prepared for battle.
"Hahaha! You against all of us?! You don't stand a chance!" A female hyacinth macaw spoke next, pulling out what appeared to be a samurai sword.
"Enough talking! Let's just end him now!" Johnny ordered his group, who all begun to circle around the young scarlet male. Who got into a defensive stance, darting his eyes back and forth to coordinate his attacks perfectly.
Over on the edge of the battlefield, team samba club were looking rather concerned at their friend. They wanted to help him take on these thugs…but Aiden made it very clear to them that he wanted to do this on his own.
"Should we really be letting him do this alone? I mean yeah…RDJ could kill all these guys easily without breaking a sweat! But…we don't know what this guy is capable of?" Jaime whispered to Jameson, who nodded his head in agreement.
(I'm sure Devine will help him out! She always helps him in his time of need!)
Devil Darkness replied confidently, as he let Jameson take over again due to not being needed at this time.
"All I'm saying, is that this is not a fair fight!"
"DD knows how Devine fights Jaime. If he says that he can handle it, then he can handle it!" Raul reassured him, although inside he too felt a little anxious about the fight.
Keith and Monifa stood side by side to watch the battle…but neither of them spoke a single word to each other. The reasons for this were unknown to the others…but deep down they felt quite nervous to talk to one another.
Aiden continued to watch as his opponents circled him, and he was waiting anxiously just to get this fight over and done with.
A hush fell upon the atmosphere…the only thing you could hear was the sound of Aiden's breathing. As he remained calm and composed.
Suddenly, someone ran at him from behind with their machete raised, ready to strike him in the back.
He heard their stepping and performed a backflip, and kicked the male on the back of their neck. Sending them flying into another one of the thugs. Knocking them over and they fell flat on their faces.
"YOU LITTLE…" The knocked over bird shouted, as he leapt to his feet and tried to barge right into him. But Aiden once again was too clever, and used a grapple technique and he sent him flying right into the female hyacinth macaw. But unfortunately for her, the blade he was holding ended up piercing through her forehead. And she began to choke on her own blood as it poured out from her forehead.
"ACCCCKKKKKKaaaaaaa…" She fell flat on her face after the impact, and slipped into a lifeless state. Killing her instantly.
"Ooops! One down! Five to go!" Aiden cockily but calmly replied, as he got back into a defensive stance.
"GRRRRRR! ENOUGH FOOLING AROUND! EVERYONE ATTACK HIM AT ONCE!" Johnny ordered his men, as the four remaining associates of his all charged at him all at once. Causing Aiden to get a little bit more concerned.
"Oh shit!" He rolled to the side to avoid a slash from someone's sledgehammer, then he dodged to the right and then the left to avoid being struck by a large axe.
Then he jumped and performed a double kick, kicking two of the guards in their throats. Making them stumble a little backwards.
Then he decided to do a double back flip to create some space in between them. But no matter how far he tried to get away, they kept charging at him at full speed.
"Fuck! I forgot that these guys have good stamina!" The scarlet male huffed in irritation, dodging another attack…and then another…and then another. Not making this fight easy for the thugs at all.
But just as Aiden looked like he had things under control…Johnny picked up what appeared to be a large spear. With a really, really sharp blade on the end.
"Alright Aiden…let's see if you like shish kebabs!" The scarlet male chuckled as he leaned his wing back, with the spear gripped tightly in his wing.
Aiden had his back facing Johnny as he continued to fend off the other four attackers. Luckily he managed to slice another one's throat with the machete, killing them within seconds as they dropped lifeless on the ground.
"HAHAHA! Two down! And four to…ACKKKKKAAAAaaaaa…"
"AIDEN!" Everyone screamed from the edge of the island…as they all gazed in horror…due to the fact that Johnny had thrown his spear…and it went straight through Aiden's back and out the other side.
Tomada immediately ran over to his friend and yanked the spear out…he then threw it directly at another thug. Who dodged it pretty easily, chuckling at him in a mocking way.
"Kid! AIDEN! NO! YOU CAN'T DIE YET?!" The falcon screamed in fear as he backed away from the scarlet male…with his face buried in his wings in shock.
"It's too late falcon boy!" Johnny laughed hysterically, as he celebrated and high winged his associates. As they celebrated in triumph after they killed their former friend. "Now…here's what's gonna happen now! You…will stand aside…give us the cube that our master needs…then you give us the girl!"
"FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!" Monifa screamed out loud in rage, standing up tall in a deafening pose.
"Hahahaha! How cute…seems as though we are being threatened by an old lady?"
"HER NAME IS MONIFA! AND SHE IS AN AFRICAN GREY MACAW YOU DICKWAD!" Keith bellowed at the top of his lungs defending his friend.
She actually felt quite touched that he would defend her like this…she even had a small dreamy glimpse in her eye. Not that he saw this anyway.
"Monifa? Monica? Macarena! I don't give a shit what her name is! And since none of you are willing to back down, I suppose we will need to go with our original plan…" Johnny explained as he grabbed the samurai sword dropped by his fallen comrade and raised it up in a threatening manner.
"Ummmm…boss?" A military macaw spoke up…as he was looking away from his leader…but he looked pretty shocked and horrified for some reason.
"Not now Nick!" Johnny snapped at his friend…whilst continuing to stand in a threatening pose. "I'm gonna enjoy this…"
"Boss…you might wanna turn around?"
"I said…NOT NOW NICK!"
"BOSS! I really think you need to…"
"WHAT?! WHAT IS IT YOU…You…What…the…HELL?!" Suddenly, the thug's eyes matched size of his associate's. His jaw dropping very low…and his body beginning to shake. "What sorcery is this?!"
Everyone one the island slowly turned around and gazed at where Aiden's body had been laying…and all of a sudden…it appeared before their very eyes at the hole that was going right through him…started to slowly…shrink? As if his body was being completely sown back together from the inside with a tonne of needles and thread.
"Ughhh Tomada?! What the hell is going on?!" Alex asked in fear, hiding behind the large falcon.
"I don't know what you are looking at me for?! DD?" Tomada asked the black owl, who just smirked in amusement through Jameson's beak.
(It appears Devine is saving Aiden's life!)
Aiden's body was healing itself in the most remarkable way possible! The hood in his body had completely disappeared and he let out a loud breath. "HUAAAAAAAA!" He breathed heavily after somehow managing to survive such an attack!
The scarlet male then jumped back up to his feet…closed his eyes briefly…then his body slowly started to turn black. As Devine now decided it was time to take over.
Once she fully took over his body…his eyes glowed a bright red…and then Devine spoke in a cocky manner. "Okay…now it's my turn!"
"Oh fuck…" All four of them gulped in fear, and slowly began regretting this decision.
Devine launched one of her tentacles forwards and grabbed Nick by the head…and with one strong pull, she ripped his head clean off his shoulders and threw it at another one, knocking them down on the floor.
Even though they were terrified, two of The Remainders tried to take her out from behind. But she sensed this coming and picked up the shotgun that Aiden uses, pointed the barrel backwards and shot one of them without even looking.
As for the other, she performed a backwards fly kick and sent him flying up in the air. Then with the finishing move, she shot both of her tentacles upwards and grabbed hold of the now helpless macaw. And vigorously pulled him straight towards the ground. Causing his body to splat really hard on the ground. Sending blood flying everywhere.
"Ahhh crap! You got blood on my nose Devine!" Monifa whined in irritation, using her wing to dry the blood off.
"Sorry about that! Now all who's left is…wait…where's their leader?" Devine pondered as she looked all around her. Realising that he was no longer on the island with them. But luckily, Jaime managed to point her out.
"HE'S THERE! HE'S HEADING TOWARDS THE CHURCH!" The blue jay shouted in fear…thinking that this was not good!
(ALLIE!)
Aiden shouted from within Devine, and rapidly managed to take over again after the short duration of the fight.
He picked up the shotgun in his talons, and leapt into the sky to try and catch up to the fleeing enemy, while his friends also fled the island in a panic to stop Johnny from doing something stupid.
"YOU MAY HAVE WON THE BATTLE AIDEN! BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO HIT YOU WHERE IT HURTS!" Johnny called back in a sadistic laugh, and flew right into the bell tower of the church. Making the scarlet male's heart literally feel like it's jumping out of his chest.
"If he lays one wingtip on her…I am gonna rip his eyes out and shove em' down his fucking throat!" Aiden was so filled with rage and determination to help protect his friends…especially Allie. "JOHNNY! JOHNNY! LEAVE ALLIE ALONE!" Aiden screeched with his eyes narrowed in the angriest frown possible.
He flew in the same room that his former friend had entered…and there by the mattress…was a petrified pink macaw female. With a blade aimed at her throat, with Johnny holding her in a strong grip.
"Haaaa…Haaaa…Dude…you don't make it easy for me do you?" The thug panted quite exhausted after escaping the battlefield. With Aiden standing directly opposite of him, pointing the shotgun towards him.
"Aiden…" Allie whispered fearfully, with tears running down her cheeks.
"Johnny…Come on now? Don't do something you will regret…" The now tired out scarlet male tried to reason with his former friend to let Allie go from his grasp. "Are you okay Allie?"
Just one look from him into her beautiful brown eyes, was enough to know they she was genuinely terrified at this point. But she dared not to show her attacker any sign of weakness.
"You are so right Aiden! But…I think I might just save you the trouble by killing her right now!" Johnny replied as he moved the blade closer to her throat.
"Wait! Wait…Don't do this…" Aiden softly spoke…as he sent to take something out from behind his back…which was something that Monifa had given to him earlier before the battle.
"NO! YOU LISTEN TO ME!" Johnny bellowed in rage, as the grip on Allie tightened. "I waited…TEN YEARS for this day! TEN FUCKING YEARS! And now…watch as I take someone important from your life…as you did mine…HAAAAAAA!"
Suddenly, Allie had elbowed Johnny in the face and quickly shot away from the attacker. Then he growled in rage and went to take a swing at her…but just before he got there. Aiden pulled out a throwing knife…and instead of throwing it directly at him. He quickly slid over to the right…and rammed the knife deeply into his abdomen…stopping him in his tracks.
"MMMMM…AHHHHH…Haaaa…Haaaaa…" After this quick and dangerous attack…Johnny gradually looked downwards…only to see that Aiden had rammed the knife deep into his abdomen. He then slowly collapsed on the ground…and Aiden swooped underneath him to catch him before his head touched the floor. "Haaaaa…N-N-No…It's…It's too s-s-soon! I…I'm not ready to die…"
"Nobody is ready to die…you know I had no choice…" Aiden muttered softly…as he held his head up in his wing. "I couldn't let you hurt the bird I care about…" He muttered the last part smoothly, gradually looking over to Allie. Who was now being hugged by Jacqueline and Lila.
"Aiden…I…I…I'm sorry. S-S-Sorry for everything…" Johnny apologised with the last few breaths that he had. "I just…I was…I'm just…s-s-sorry…"
"As am I…My friend…As am I…" The scarlet macaw replied very sadly…wiping away the tears that were running down Johnny's cheeks. "Shhhhhh…just let go Johnny…Let yourself be free now. You don't have to be scared anymore…you're free…"
"Huh…When were we ever…ackkkkkaaaaa…f-f-freeeee-ahhhhhh…" These were the last few words that Johnny managed to speak…as his body started to feel heavier…the temperature of his body turned colder…and the light had disappeared from his eyes…Johnny was no more!
"May we see each other again some day…my friend!" Aiden whispered to the now lifeless old friend of his. Pain and sadness filled his heart…as he used his wingtips to close his eyes. "Rest in peace…Johnny…"
Once he closed his eyes…he gradually stood back up on his feet. Then just stood there…gazing down at the lifeless corpse. Wiping away his many tears.
A hush fell upon the room after what had just happened…nobody dared to say a word to the scarlet male in case they accidentally upset him.
Everyone turned away and left Aiden in the room with his dead friend laying on the floor.
But the only one who didn't leave the room…was Allie.
The pink female scratched her right wing anxiously…trying to find an excuse to talk to the man she's in love with. But just as she was about to tap him on the shoulder…she slowly moved her wing away from him.
Then without even saying a word…she too decided to leave the bell tower, without looking over her shoulder once.
Leaving Aiden alone in this tight space…as he felt like he wanted the ground to swallow him up. After killing the only friend he ever had…when he moved to the city all those years ago.
What he was going to do now…well…that is the big question.
I know that it took me a while to update this chapter! But I have been fairly busy last couple of days! But I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, as we now look towards the next one! Where RDJ will try and get to the prison before The Destroyer does to save Fernando! Also, we will also be taking a look at Lila's reaction, when she receives…a letter from home!
