Chapter 3
Neo Cortex has never been a morning person, or a night person in this case, as the moonlight bleeds through the curtains and try to block it with the duvet. He would have successfully lulled back to sleep if it wasn't for the rapid knocking on his door.
"NEO! Get up! Lesson is going to start in 10 minutes!" a familiar voice shouted through the door, making Neo's eyes shot wide open and immediately jump out the bed and fish out his uniform that he managed to put on in under a minute. He looks at himself in the mirror to see a yellow skin young man with askew black hair, a 5' o clock shadow starting to show on his face and a giant capital 'N' on his forehead that is an eye sore to him. He looks down and see his tie is not straight and try to sort it out when he hears the door open.
"Are you ready to go? We can't be late for Madame Amberley's class!" Neo sighed as he grabs his bag,
"I'm ready. It doesn't matter anyway, she will always find a reason to give us detention anyway." he turns to see N. Gin hair grown into a hair bob that frames there face, but that's not the only thing that shocks Neo.
"Are my eyes deceiving me or is he wearing a skirt?" he shakes his head,
"Errr N. Gin, you are aware you're wearing a girl's uniform right?" N. Gin puts his hand up to stop him.
"First of all, it's not N. Gin anymore, it's Ginny, and second I'm very well aware and I think I look cute in it." they said as they give it a twirl while giggling. Neo rolls his eyes at N. gin or Ginny for being an oddball but he does respect them for their craziness.
"Yes, very cute, as long as you're not doing it for 'I'm the master of time' N. Tropy I don't care what you wear." Ginny blush at the comment and clear their throat,
"Well….." Neo suddenly feels annoyed at their hesitation as they start walking down the hall.
"You are joking? Seriously N. Gin,"
"Ginny."
"Sorry, Ginny he's not going to notice you. He doesn't even like you and not worth your time. Besides, he's a fucking arsehole." Ginny just waves him off,
"Ok it's not entirely true. I always feel like I'm different and I find skirts and dresses to be more free and comfortable which makes me happy but think about it, since I'm more comfortable dressing up as a girl and he's only attracted to girls why not just wear a skirt anyway, I get more of a chance." Neo can't argue against their logic, but he also believes you shouldn't change for someone who doesn't accept you for who you are and he's worried that's what they're doing.
"Also that's just his exterior, he's handsome, intelligent, dashing, sophisticated." Neo interrupts them,
"Narcissist, obnoxious, borderline insane." Ginny gives him a sly look,
"I think someone's jealous." Neo scoffs at the comment,
"Ugh, please. The last person I want to be like is him." he says as he walks into the classroom and surprise to see that class hasn't started and Madame Amberley isn' here yet.
"That's weird, she's normally here way earlier." Neo wonders when Ginny squeels,
"There's Tropy, I'll see you later Neo." Neo just shakes his head he watches them take their seat next to Tropy and start talking to them, clearly it's not going very well as Tropy seems uninterested and even a little disgusted. Neo sits down in his seat near the front and take out a bunch of papers, hopefully to progress his plans for world domination before the lesson begins. On the papers is a roug drawing of a dentist looking chair with an egg shape looking machinary above it, on the side written 'Evolvo-ray?' and have various of notes on how to create it and what it does. To be able to evolutionized creatures in a faster pace to make them super mutant army, a perfect plan to dominate the world and make everyone bow down to their knees. He imagines himself sitting on a red velvet throne on top of a pile of bones wit h terrifying mutated animals guarding him against the world while everything around him is in fire and in ruins, but his dreams got disrupted when he hears the door open to see Madame Amberley walking, causing everyone to rise up.
"May we bring darkness upon the school, Madame Amberley?" the whole class said in sync,
"You may." answered Madame Amberley with a nod.
"Sit down everyone." everyone sit down when Neo notices behind her is a slender blue girl with black hair in a braid and eye catching amethyst coloured eyes that's roaming around the classroom, looking at the students. If Neo is being honest, he finds her to be exeedingly attractive but also finds her to be meak and even timid based on her facial reaction.
"Before I start the class, I vant to introduce you to our new student." Madame Amberley turns to the girl,
"Go ahead sveetie." the girl looks around frantically, opening her mouth to say something but her nerves got the better of her, as she took a deep breath,
"Nadia? Oh my god it IS you!" everyone turns to see Ginny stands up, waving at the new girl with a smile. Madame Amberley seems taken aback.
"Ruhig N. Gin! You two know each other?"
"It's Ginny now madame and yes. Our dads work together and we met through them, it's been so long Nadie!" the girl wonders why they're familiar and to see a familiar made her calm down a little and gave them a little smile and wave.
"In that case, you can show her around, I'm sure you two vill get on vell like your fathers. Now my dear, vhere shall I put you?" she looks around and notices the only empty seat in the class is next to Neo which causes him to bow his head under her gaze.
"Sorry my dear, looks like ze only empty seat is next to Cry Baby Cortex!" the nickname got the whole class laughing making Neo go red in embarresment.
"Zat won't bother you vill it?" Nadia shakes her head and sits down in her seat, and getting her stuff out of her bag.
"Ok everyone, today ve vill be learning about psychological control….." Neo starts to zone out from the boring lesson and concentrate on his plans of domination, while making some tweaks to his plans he can't help but feel like he's being watched. He looks over to see a pair of amethyst eyes staring down at his plans. When she sees he caught her, she goes red and abruptly look away. Neo can't help but stare at her thinking how weird she is and looks down to continue. Nadia looks back at him working and can't help but take a note that he's quite good looking but has destiguish features. His bright brown eyes, strange yellow skin and even his slight smile that does make him seem friendly, in fact him and Ginny seems to be the only student that are not leering but his works tells a completely different story.
'Mutation? Animal experimentation? Domination?' she keeps reading the notes but for some reason she can't stick it with the face of the writer, it doesn't fit which makes her want to get to know him even more. She sneakily brings one of the papers closer and take out her purple gel pen that has a scent of grape, her favourite and draw an outline of a crystal, Neo caught her,
"Hey what are you doing?" Neo whispered but then stop in his tracks when he saw her smile. Her smile is small and still a little timid but he can't help but how beautiful she looks when she smiles. All of a sudden the school bell rang signalling the end of class.
"Alright class, For homevork I want you to read chapters 1 and 2 on 'How to brainwash naturally?' by Dr Mani Lation over the weekend vhere on Monday ve vill start a pop quiz on it.
'Wait, class is over? Have I been staring this whole time?" he thought as he watches Nadia pack her things and hurridly walk out the door. He shakes his head and smell a little scent of grape and look down at the outline drawing of a crystal on one of his pages with something written underneath,
'Meet me at the courtyard at 3am.'.
