Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Inky Hearts. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.

"Ugh…" Chimon said as he rubbed his temples while he cracked his back. "Ow, who's calling me?" Chimon asked and looked at his nightstand where his phone sat.

Chimon slowly crossed the room towards his phone before slowly picking the device up. He was curious, he could only wonder why was someone calling him at the moment.

"Hello?" Chimon asked before he heard someone start speaking up on the other end.

"CHIMON!" Chimon heard roar over the end of the phone as he turned to look to the side.

"NEJIRE!?" Chimon asked before he blinked to himself before almost dropping the phone.

He was quick to fumble and grab the small machine before blinking in shock. Chimon didn't remember if he gave her his phone number… And if he did? Chimon still didn't really understand why or how she'd be calling him at the moment.

"How did you?" Chimon asked before he heard a giggle as he looked at his phone number at the moment.

"OH, I managed to ask your parents before you got home." Nejire asked to which the teen was speechless. "Ryuko is very good at talking to UA teachers." Nejire stated while Chimon could only numbly nod to himself.

He guessed she merely stopped to talk to him about something. Chimon would ask for details later. Now didn't seem like a time to really be questioning the circumstances the more he thought about it.

"Did you need something, Nejire?" Chimon asked, curious about the events of the call. "I'm sorry, I'm a bit tired from last night. I had to rehearse some a bit for when I spoke to Fat Gum." Chimon added as he paused to yawn.

He was greeted by another giggle as Nejire said nothing before finally clearing her throat.

"I wanted to train with you again." Nejire said which got him to raise an eyebrow on his end. "You act like you need some work and Ryuko is always saying I need more help." Nejire said as Chimon turned to get his costume.

"You want to fight me like last time?" Chimon asked, curious as to if he had heard the woman right.

"Yep, get to learn more about you fight." Nejire said while Chimon blinked as he looked at the case. "Sides, heroes always need time to do stuff that's not hero work and all that." Nejire added as she paused to think about what the fight would be like.

Nejire hummed as Chimon lifted the case once more and looked to the phone once more. Nejire had gone silent, probably to await his answer. Chimon found it off putting to himself not to hear anything from Nejire considering how much she seemed to like to talk.

"Ok, where do you want to meet up, I guess?" Chimon stated as he turned to look around. "I do need some time to get my costume ready. Plus, I need to make some drawings so I can fight, my quirk still needs ammo if that makes sense." Chimon added, pausing to sit on his bed.

"How about the local park at the moment?" Nejire stating as she giggled with amusement. "I'll send you the details in like an hour? That sound like a good deal?" Nejire asked before she hummed to herself.

"Yeah, I'll be there soon and we can fight… Well, train." Chimon said before he sighed. "Sorry, my brain is still waking up, it's weird, you know? I'm still kinda used to this hero thing." Chimon added before clicking off the phone.

He sighed and picked up his costume. There was going to be a LONG talk when he got there. That was obvious. What wasn't obvious? Was how Nejire was so calm and he wasn't. Chimon rather liked her constant optimum when he thought about it. That was part of what made him curious about what this would bring.

"Ugh, I'm so weird." Chimon stated as he started to get dressed. "This is going to be a long day." Chimon added while holding his mask/helmet.

Chimon placed the object on the bed and picked up his sketchbook while slowly starting to scribble once more. He twirled the pens and pencils through his fingers.

He was curious about what Nejire was going to happen next. Still? He couldn't really think about what Nejire would do, her quirk meant she could throw most of his creations and weapons away easily. It meant he'd have to strike while the iron was hot and subdue her before she managed to regain the offensive and put himself on the backfoot.

"Maybe a bird?" Chimon asked while he sighed and started to look to the side. "Maybe a rat? I need to fight more then anything and closing the distance will help." Chimon added and sighed, rubbing his fingers through his temples once more as he knew for a fact.

Chimon shook his head before donning his helmet before picking up his notebook as he went to lift the head. Chimon felt he would just draw at the park. He needed motivation to draw something good.

Plus, good air would help when it came to his drive to draw in the first place.

Aquatint sighed, the lenses on his helmet narrowing before suddenly turning back to normal. Nejire was probably not going to hold back when it came down to it. Aquatint couldn't afford not to the same.

"Why is hero work so hard?" Aquatint questioned himself and started drawing once more. "I've been thinking about her since we've met. I don't know what to think, I've done plenty to try and save the city…. But I just don't know how to handle hero work along with real life." Aquatint added, sketching a bird and then shifting to the next page.

Aquatint thought about the next sketch, guessing that something strong might be able to overpower her quirk. He thought about the possible animals that he could draw.

The next one was a simple rhino. Aquatint started to sketch the horn while being hopeful that he could hang out with Nejire after their hero training was done. He paused, his pen over the creature's eye as he shook his head.

"Why do I keep thinking about her?" Aquatint questioned himself aloud. "Nejire's cool, but I keep thinking about her for some reason, I just can't figure out why. Maybe I should ask her how she feels about me." Aquatint stated to himself as he cracked his fingers.

"I'm just crazy or something." Aquatint added and started on another drawing, flipping the page as he hummed.

Little did he know about how chaotic and insane the battle would be.
