Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Inky Hearts. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own MHA Shonen Jump, Kohei Horikoshi and a few others do.
Nejire leapt from one foot to another as she turned to look at Chimon who was busy panting. He rested his hands on his knees as he slowly but surely straightened up a moment later.
"Sorry, I had to run here… Bus left the station early." Chimon said as he wiped the sweat from his face. "Why did you want me here? Also… You have my phone number?" Chimon asked as he raised an eyebrow which got a nod from Nejire.
"Yep, got it during the talk with Fat Gum." Nejire said while tilting her head to the side a moment later. "Why, is that wrong? Did I dial it wrong? Do you want me to text?" Nejire asked and watched Chimon laugh.
"No. Its uh… Fine." Chimon said while brushing off his shirt. "I just don't have a lot of contacts on my phone. I like when you ask a lot of questions, it's always nice to learn new things." Chimon said as Nejire blinked.
"Ok, I needed you for hero training. I figured because you just started? You'd want to train; training is always help…" Nejire started to say as Chimon held up a finger a moment later.
"Yeah, you sure it's ok to fight here?" Chimon asked as he gazed around at the park around them. "This place is pretty huge. I don't know what will happen if we fight here… I know it will be pretty crazy, you know. I've been meaning to ask; how did you train to use that quirk?" Chimon asked, ducking into the bathroom to change into his costume.
He turned to lock the door, knowing how Nejire or someone might have come in. He was quite curious about how this would go. The fight with Nejire was going to be quite fun, provided she didn't throw him halfway across the park with her quirk.
He pulled on the helmet a moment later, curious as to what happened. Still? He knew that whatever happened? It was going to help him train in some way shape or form.
"Nejire? I'm ready." Chimon said as he cracked his fingers and shook his head. "Ok, this is going to be interesting." Chimon said as he stepped out the door, closing the door behind him.
He looked around for Nejire while leaning on the wall behind him as he rubbed at his temples. Chimon was well aware of how things had been. Still? If it was THIS weird? He'd have questions at the time this battle ended. He was quite curious about WHAT had caused her to bring her here once more.
Still? He was quite interested in this fight. He shook head while he slowly walked towards the field as he tightened his uniform, preparing for anything that happened, anything that could or possibly would affect this fight.
"So, anyway, you were asking how I used to run a thousand laps every day and all that?" Nejire asked only for Chimon to blush and turn as she turned to make sure her costume was fully on.
'This woman is going to get me put in jail or something…' Chimon thought, glad the helmet hid any blush or signs of perverted attitude he had… Not that he had any.
"Y-Yeah…" Aquatint awkwardly stuttered out a moment later as he sighed, wondering how he could possibly talk without it being weird.
"Oh, well… Lady Ryuko helped me work out a training regimen. She thinks if I follow it every single day?" Nejire said, hopping from foot to foot with pep in her step. "Then I'll be good to go. Why? Do you have something that could help?" Nejire questioned as Chente shrugged.
"No, just curious… Can't imagine work like that, though." Aquatint stated a moment later as he sighed. "But it is very interesting, this is going to be a very fun fight, you know." Aquatint said before cracking his knuckles as he paused to look at her with a small amount of amusement
As he started to look around? Aquatint started to notice that something was quite weird about the terrain. Then again? Maybe it was just his lack of sleep starting to get to him. He was rather tired at the end of today.
'I seriously need to get some sleep…. Try and get all of this out of my brain.' Aquatint thought to himself as he sighed and started to rub at his temples.
Either this fight went well? Or he'd never speak about it again and just pretend that it didn't happen. That didn't really concern him at the end of the day. It was just more firewood to add to the pile at the end of the day… But he was used to that… He was always used to something like that.
He took a fighting stance, his body starting to flow with power and pain in equal measure.
