CHAPTER 9

U.A. Entrance Exam

Hizashi Yamada AKA Present Mic stood in front of the audience explaining the Entrance Exam's practical stage.

"FOR ALL YOU EXAMINEE LISTENERS TUNING IN, WELCOME TO MY SHOW TODAY! EVERYBODY SAY "HEY"!" He shouted as always but nobody replied at all.

'Though I have to wonder if that person would do it…' He thought about a tall wind Quirk user.

"What a refined response." He continued unfazed at the lack of cheers. "Then I'll quickly present to you the rundown on the practical exam! Are you ready?! YEAH!"

And once again, nobody said or replied anything. The auditorium was only welcoming the silence of every examinee.

"So it seems that the Voice Hero, Present Mic is taking command of today's practical exam here…" Izuku muttered quietly enjoying the view of one of the teachers of U.A., active hero and radio entertainer."

"Shut up." Katsuki sneered not looking at him with his arms crossed.

"As it says in the application requirements, you, listeners, will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this!" The screen behind Present Mic showed different battle centers from A to G. He then continued, "After the presentation, you'll head to the specified battle center, okay?"

"In other words, they won't let you work with your friends, huh?" Katsuki guessed, glancing at Izuku's and Junpei's examinee card.

They each glanced at their examinee cards.

Izuku had: "Examinee No.: 2234 - Test Location: Battle Center B"

Katsuki had: "Examinee No.: 2233 - Test Location: Battle Center A"

And Junpei had: "Examinee No.: 2235 - Test Location: Battle Center C"

"You're right, even though our examinee numbers are consecutive," Izuku commented.

"Don't look. I'll kill you."

"Why so much hostility on him, man? Calm yourself Kacchan."

"Shut up."

Present Mic continued, "Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center. You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty." The screen showed different robot-villains with 1 point to 3 points.

"Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains. Of course, attacking other examinees and any other unheroic actions are prohibited!" He pointed at the crowd.

From one of the crowd, a student stood up raising his hand, "May I ask a question?"

The student was tall to say near Junpei's height, has a combed black-bluish colored hair and had a rectangular figure being also his jaw, glasses, and eyes the same shape. Junpei recognized that it was Tenya Iida from his manners, build and speech.

"Okay!" Hizashi snapped his fingers and the spotlights were given to him.

"On the printouts, there are four types of villains." He said taking out his printout. "If that is a misprint, then U.A., the most prominent school in Japan, should be ashamed of that foolish mistake. We, examinees, are here in this place because we wish to be molded into exemplary heroes."

He later turned on his back and pointed fingers at the trio of Aldera or most likely at Izuku.

"Also, you over there with the curly hair, you've been muttering this whole time. It's distracting! If you're here on a pleasure trip, then you should leave immediately!"

Though Junpei had understood his warning, it wasn't that much of a thing right now.

"Oi, Four-Eyes! You should consider speaking your mind since Present Mic was going to tell us about that! As I am going to use your words, you're distracting everyone right now!" Junpei retorted.

Tenya seemed to wince at his retort and didn't know what to tell him. Even if he could it would be shameful to show this side of him, verbally fighting with someone he had no hope to win.

"Okay, okay, Examinee Number 7111 and Examinee Number 2235." Hizashi interrupted. "Thank you for the great message, Examinee Number 7111 but there is no need for violence here, Examinee Number 2235."

The two numbered teens calmed down and continued hearing the explanation.

"THE FORTH TYPE OF VILLAIN IS WORTH ZERO POINTS. THAT GUY'S AN OBSTACLE, SO TO SPEAK. THERE'S ONE IN EVERY BATTLE CENTER, AN OBSTACLE THAT WILL GO CRAZY IN NARROW SPACES. IT'S NOT IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEAT, BUT THERE'S NO REASON TO DEFEAT IT, EITHER."

'Well, that's false in a way.' He thought already knowing the true meaning of the exam. 'You need to think outside the meaning of the exam if anybody had the heart of a true hero. Guess U.A. staffs are really smart if not for the principal.'

"I RECOMMEND THAT YOU LISTENERS TRY TO AVOID IT." Hizashi blankly suggested and Junpei could hear various examinees' conversations to avoid it.

"THAT'S ALL FROM ME! FINALLY, I'LL GIVE YOU LISTENERS A PRESENT – OUR SCHOOL MOTTO! THE HERO NAPOLEON BONAPARTE ONCE SAID: 'A TRUE HERO IS SOMEONE WHO OVERCOMES LIFE'S MISFORTUNES'."

Hizashi made his sunglasses dipped down so he could leer at the examinees for a moment. "GO BEYOND, PLUS ULTRA!"

With a simple motto, the auditorium erupted in cheers and the screen behind him changed into an animated 'Plus Ultra' written over.

"NOW, EVERYONE, GOOD LUCK SUFFERING!"

Once he wrapped up the explanation, all the examinee started to stand up to get to their respective battle center. The trio went to get into their respective buses as they managed to find both Itsuka and Ochako, and Katsuki directly going to his respective bus without batting an eye.

"Which battle center you two got?" Itsuka asked as Junpei and Izuku were walking toward them.

"I got battle center C," Junpei said showing his examinee card. "How about you?"

"I also got battle center C," Itsuka said raising her hand for a slap which Junpei gave it to her.

"I got battle center B." Both Izuku and Ochako said in unison, surprising both of them and looking at each other with surprise.

"You're in the B too, Ochako?" Izuku said in surprise.

"Yeah! It's nice to work together, Deku-kun!" Ochako said obliviously making Itsuka twitch her eye in anger and was about to do something drastic, as enlarging her fist, Junpei stopped in between them.

"Calm down Itsuka. It's not what you think!" He tried to defuse the situation, trying to calm the orangette.

"Y-Yeah, Ochako isn't saying my nickname 'Deku' as useless but 'Dekiru' meaning you can do it!" Izuku added slightly surprised and scared of Itsuka's protective instinct. "And I'm fine with it!"

Itsuka glared at Ochako who was hiding behind Izuku with slight fear so she made her hands return to normality and sighed.

Ochako looked between Izuku and Junpei in apologetic. "Sorry, I'm guessing that I should now call you Izuku, right?"

Junpei shook his head. "Nah, it's alright."

"Yeah, Itsuka is one of our closest friends before she moved out. We haven't seen her… well… four years. And she was kind of protective."

The trio childhood friend exchanged a look before looking at Ochako.

"You three are close," Ochako commented blithely.

"We still are." The three said in unison making the trio laugh but were interrupted when the speakers started to announce something.

"Please to all examinees to take their respective buses or else you'll be forfeited from the exam. I repeat, all examinees have to take their respective buses or else you'll be forfeited from the exam." The announcer ranged hurrying all examinees that were having their conversation go to their buses.

"Well, that's our queue. We'll meet later Izu, or should I call you Deku now?" Junpei chuckled before being slapped on the back making him cringe in pain. "Goddammit, Itsuka! You didn't need to slap me on the back!"

"Hmph, don't be such a baby." Itsuka huffed before looking at Izuku with a smile. "I'll see you two later."

Izuku and Ochako waved their hands as the other two went to their buses. Later they went to their respective buses and the buses drove off the examinees to change into their gears.

Izuku was wearing a teal-green tracksuit and Ochako was wearing a black and white with a red horizontal line tracksuit for the practical exam.

Junpei was wearing a black tank top, blue knee-length short and black sneaker as Itsuka was wearing a blue shirt, black leggings, and white sneakers.

(Battle Center B – With Izuku & Ochako)

Both examinees exited their buses and waited as other examinees were preparing themselves to show their skills. But what most of them had in common, was their nervousness before the start.

"Wow, there are many examinees!" Ochako wowed. "And there is supposed to be seven more? U.A. is amazing!"

"Yeah, U.A. is one of the prestigious schools for heroes in training so basically… this is U.A." He summarized with awe.

"Now that I think about it…" She trailed off glancing at Izuku. "Your two friends and you seem closer. Are you three perhaps like childhood friends?" She asked cheerfully, trying to not get nervous at all since she had someone to talk with.

"Well, Jukkun and I were friends since I was two and Itsuka was when we were together in a dojo since I was four. Most likely Jukkun told me to prepare myself if I wanted to be a hero so let's say that because of him I met Itsuka."

"Jukkun?" She tilted her head in confusion. "Oh, do you mean Junpei-kun?"

"Ah yes, since we were kids I came up with his nickname." He laughed sheepishly. "He got stuck with it and he isn't bothered by it."

The two continued with their conversation only to be interrupted when a firm hand was placed on Izuku's shoulder. Turning to see, Izuku noticed it was the Examinee 7111, Tenya Iida.

"You two," He started glaring firmly. "What are you two doing here? This isn't some kind of field trip so you two can flirt! Are you two here to hinder others from doing their best?"

Izuku narrowed his eyes on his accusation dangerously as Ochako puffed her cheeks in anger as same as Izuku.

"Look, friend." He slapped his hand aside and glared him. "We are simply having a normal conversation to ease our nervousness. Aren't you the one who is hindering us by accusing boldly?" He said pointing finger at him.

Tenya seemed to understand the message as he went to the other side in defeat.

Izuku sighed before looking at Ochako. "Do you think I was harsh on him? I didn't think that it would take him that hard."

Ochako seemed to calm herself apart from the sudden accusation. "Well, I can say he was at fault this time but he can't simply accuse us of something we didn't even do."

"Yeah, you're right Ochako…" He sighed again looking at the gate of the battle center. "Wonder what the others are doing…"

(Battle Center C – With Junpei & Itsuka)

Once they had changed into their workout outfit, Junpei and Itsuka stretched their limbs looking at the other examinees. Junpei tried to manage the percentage of the armguards and his new leg guards, which wasn't like full metal leg guards instead were thinner and sturdier than the previous version of his armguards being black with indigo-purple tribal marks. For now, he had put 75% Limiter to see if it was alright the percentage of his strength.

"Are you sure about this, Jukkun?" Itsuka asked out of nowhere.

"What do you mean?" Junpei asked stretching his legs.

"I mean with Izuku being called Deku," Itsuka said stretching her arms.

"Ah, that…" Junpei trailed off with another stretching pose. "Well, he isn't bothered now with the new meaning so why not. You sure are putting pressure on Ochako-chan, you know."

"I know." She sighed. "I mean I haven't seen you guys for four years so you can say that I'm little protective on him, just like you."

Junpei stopped stretching and looked at her. "Look, I know you and I have been taking care of Izuku as if he was a little brother but, Izuku will – and I mean WILL make himself a hero, with or without us."

Itsuka seemed to notice Junpei's serious expression before he formed a grin. "And also I want to see him kick Kacchan's ass for his bullying."

Now that Itsuka seemed to enjoy it too. "Yeah, you're right. I feel like Izuku is going to be someone big. And no pun intended with my fists." She motioned with raising a fist to get a point.

"Alright, alright, don't need for violence here." He said with his hand raised in defensive.

As he said that, he had to look around to see if there are any of the known students that will assist U.A. and he spotted one familiar guy with two cylindrical tape dispensers on his elbows, and another which was strange because he had black hair but the small scar above his right eye was no mistake of it to recognize without it.

(A/N: Spoilers, something happened there and it tells further ahead of the original story. For manga readers, you already know it. If Season 4 came up, you already know it!)

He looked around for more but he had thought that most of them were in other battle centers and just before he could wonder more, Present Mic's voice had called the beginning of the exam to all seven exam sites.

"OKAY, START!"

As the doors suddenly opened all seven exam sites, many of the examinees were left confused standing idle.

(***)

In Battle Center A, Katsuki blasted forward yelling his lungs out.

"Get the fuck out of the way!" He yelled using his Quirk to accelerate his speed.

In Battle Center B, Izuku had pulled Ochako and started running toward the entrance at full speed.

"Ochako, let's hurry!"

"O-Oh, okay!" She said still dazed at the sudden announcement.

In Battle Center C, Junpei and Itsuka started running as soon as Present Mic announced the start of the exam.

"Let's go!"

In Battle Center F, a familiar frog girl, Tsuyu Asui, started hopping toward the exam.

(***)

To all dazed examinees, watched as the already running examinees were beginning theirs in confusion and began wondering the reason behind.

"WHAT'S WRONG? THERE ARE NO COUNTDOWNS IN REAL FIGHTS! THE DIE HAS BEEN CAST, YOU KNOW!" Present Mic's voice made every examinee realize what just happened.

"Wait! Those guys started earlier than us!" One of the participants shouted as everyone started running toward the exam ground.

(Battle Center C – With Junpei & Itsuka)

"Itsuka, we should separate and get our points separately!" Junpei suggested as he punched to a 1-point villain.

"Good idea, I'll see you at the end of it." Itsuka waved before running to another sector to get points.

Junpei continued looking for the faux villains to get him some points but he also knew the other points of the exam. So he wandered around looking for faux villains or save some examinees that were having a hard time on their battles.

Just then, he saw the same black-haired teen with a scar above his right eye having trouble on his own.

'Meeting early with one of the future students of class A?' Junpei thought considering the many possibilities of being here to meet someone of it was slim but possible. 'Fuck it, here I go.'

Junpei ran toward the 3-point faux villain and dropkicked it managing to make a crater on its head. The faux villain twitched for a few seconds before the robot seized to move at all.

The scarred teen looked in surprise and awe at the display which the bluette teen finished it off with a simple dropkick.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked motioning with a hand to help him up since he tripped before the faux villain ever took the chance of finishing him.

"Y-Yeah, thanks." He helped himself up and dusted off his clothes. "I'm Eijiro Kirishima, sorry if I'm taking the time for you to gather points."

Junpei looked skeptical at the apology but then remembered that Eijiro had low confidence in himself or the term he would constantly use 'not manly' because of his past self.

"Nah, it ain't bothering me." He waved his hand in dismissal. "I'm Junpei Takahashi by the way. As we were speaking about, keep it up if you want to become a hero. You can't be a hero if you're not confident enough." He turned on his back and started running. "I hope to see you at U.A. Kirishima!"

Eijiro didn't even manage to speak with him more as he disappeared to gather more points. He pondered his words carefully before a new determination formed on his eyes and went to gather his points.

(At the same time – Battle Center B)

Izuku and Ochako had separated themselves just as Junpei and Itsuka did to gather their points. Izuku was at the moment fighting a two-point faux villain.

"Target spotted! Time to die!" The faux villain charged at him raising its claw.

Slamming its claw at him, Izuku managed to dodge in time before giving it a roundhouse on the neck joint which the faux villain got stunned for a few seconds before Izuku gave it an open palm strike on its face. He could have used [One for All] to get points but for now, he had managed to gather 14 points without it.

'Guess Grandmaster Arata's training is giving me the strength after all.' He glanced at his fists before continuing to get himself some points.

(Observation Room – U.A.)

At the observation room, various staff and the principal of U.A. sat in front of various screens monitoring at the examinees of the year. Various screens showed each different batch of students so that the U.A. staffs are allowed to know the current situation and pass judgment since they had to take in consideration their insight, mobility, calmness over any situation, decision making, pure combat abilities, battle prowess and the obvious basis needed to make the cities peaceful.

"Quite the golden eggs we had gathered this year." A white petite animal being a hybrid of a bear, dog and mouse said with a low chuckle holding a cup of tea. That being said is none other than Nedzu the animal-like principal with his Quirk: [High Spec].

"Hm-hm, you're right." A woman with spiky dark purple hair nodded with her smooth voice that would melt any men to the ground as not only endanger more of their sanity if not for the dominatrix outfit she's wearing.

One man wearing a black outfit with a white scarf watched attentively, despite his lack of sleep in his eyes and hygiene because of his messy long hair, at the screen.

"It is time for the last part of the exam?" Toshinori, being All Might himself, asked the principal wearing a yellow striped suit that matched his hair, currently watching his successor doing his best on the field.

"Yes, it is! Should I give you the honor to start it?" Nedzu asked handing him a big red button protected within a glass cube.

Toshinori received the button, opened up the container and grinned at the principal. "I shall take it." With that, Toshinori pressed the red button commencing the last part of the practical exam.

(Battle Center C)

Junpei was sitting on top of the remaining of the faux villains he had fought with. He had gathered at least 56 points or naming its villain points on it. He had saved some examinees here and there which he didn't know how many points he had gathered in that part.

He had pondered what he was doing at the moment and wait for the zero point villain to appear but one thing he came upon in his thoughts.

"So boring~" He sighed heavily out of boredom.

The faux villains weren't much a challenge to him; at least the senior students of his dojo could make a better fight than them.

"When is the zero-point villain going to appear?" He wondered and his wonder got answered as the sudden earthquake motioned all students to look at the source of it. Junpei simply grinned giddily at the enemy that was going to appear and stood up while cracking his knuckles with anticipation. "Finally, I was about to doze off."

"Jukkun, did you feel that?!" Itsuka called reuniting with Junpei.

"Of course I did." He jumped down the pile of scraps he had destroyed and cracked his neck. "With Grandmaster Arata's training to enhance our hearing and senses, who wouldn't have felt that big ass earthquake?"

Itsuka seemed to get the statement and snickered. "Yeah, you're right. Such students like us aren't very easily surprised by it." She then looked serious. "So what are you going to do?"

"Simple." He cracked his knuckles with a mad grin. "I'm going to punch it to the ground."

"Your simplicity is always amusing, Jukkun." Itsuka chimed. "Alright, I'll be right behind you."

"Hn." Junpei nodded before running toward the zero-point villain ignoring all examinees that were running away from it with Itsuka following behind.

(3 Minutes Ago – Battle Center B)

An indigo-haired teen wasn't having the best moment of his life. His name is Hitoshi Shinso, who had come to U.A. to get into heroics by telling the world that his Quirk: [Brainwashing] wasn't villainous and that even he could be part of it. But right now, he couldn't do much then get 3 points as he got lucky when one of the debris knocked the faux villains and he managed to finish it off, he couldn't get any points as he lacked the strength, speed and battle prowess to fight against them.

In front of him, there were two one-point villains and a three-point villain about to finish him.

"Guess luck isn't on my side this time…" Hitoshi mumbled with dread.

Just before the faux villains were about to pummel him, a dropkick managed to destroy one and the destroyed one knocked the other two stunning them completely.

Hitoshi was dazed in surprise at the sudden predicament. He was saved by a green-haired teen which didn't look like much but he had to wonder how his body was underneath his outfit.

"Hey, buddy!" His voice brought him back. "You should finish them as they are now!"

Blinking several times in confusion, Hitoshi complied grabbing a metal pole and finished them off gaining 4 points for himself.

"Um, thanks. But why would you help me?" Hitoshi asked truthfully tossing the metal pole off his hand. He wasn't mad he was glad to have gained a point but how he got them, got him curious about the guy's reasons.

"To tell the truth, I don't like it when someone defenseless can't fight back so I came here to become a hero to help those who can't." He stated as Hitoshi looked amazed at the determination on his eyes. "I don't know what's your Quirk or intention to come here. But if you got the heart of a hero, I know that you can do something better." He looked at him with a smile and Hitoshi was doing it the same. He felt that the guy in front of him had something special that gives other hope and that is something Hitoshi won't waste it.

"I'm Hitoshi Shinso, by the way. And you are?"

"S-Sorry!" He stuttered in embarrassment. "I talked like that yet I didn't tell you my name… hehe… My name's Izuku Midoriya. It's nice to meet you Shinso-kun."

"Likewise."

Just then the two teenagers felt an earthquake. Looking at the source of the noise, the two looked surprised and shocked at what they were seeing; there was the zero-point villain that Present Mic mentioned and it was no joke when they saw a building-like faux villain looking menacingly. Every examinee was shocked and others started running away from it screaming or trying to avoid any stray attack.

"We should get going!" Hitoshi suggested getting ready to run away from it.

Just before Izuku could answer him, he heard a familiar voice not far from the giant faux villain's location. Looking carefully at who that was, Izuku was shocked to see Ochako stuck under debris.

And without hesitation, he ran toward her.

"H-Hey!" Hitoshi's voice went to deaf ears as he continued running toward her. 'He's saving her? But there's no time to get away from it. What should I do?'

He then popped an idea and turned to the running examinees.

"HEY DUMBASSES!" He shouted getting some of the examinee's attention.

Few examinees answered the cursing and seized to move completely as their eyes were blank without making any expression.

Hitoshi had gained two 'brainwashed' examinees. One has a good build and his calves had some kind of engines struck at the back of his legs. The next one was what could you assume French-like guy using some kind of support equipment as a belt. And the last one he noticed was a tall student with many arms.

"Alright, you shoot at the debris that is about to fall." He ordered pointing at the blond French guy. "You go to them and save them." He ordered pointing at the blue-haired guy using square glasses. "And you go help them if any debris falls on them and help the one with glasses!" He last ordered the tall octopus man.

The three nodded and complied to do his orders.

Tenya Iida being one of the brainwashed ran toward Izuku and Ochako, dodging precisely around the falling debris. The French guy used his Quirk to shoot a laser to destroy the debris that was about to fall over them despite his stomach starting to wobble in pain.

Izuku arrived to get Ochako out of the debris but with the limited time he got, Izuku didn't think he had the time to get her out of it and how close the giant villain was at the moment.

Just then Tenya arrived at the moment.

"Y-You…?!" Izuku called but despite he said something Tenya seemed to ignore him at all.

"Um… is he okay?" Ochako asked despite being under the debris.

"Guess so." Izuku shrugged as he and Tenya tried to push aside the debris releasing her from her trap.

Tenya helped her up and looked at Izuku as if they needed to get out of there. But Izuku had planned for something else. He started using [One for All] through his body and glanced at the giant villain.

"Deku-kun."

"It's alright, Ochako because I'm here." He said with a smile that looked what All Might does always. And then he disappeared as he jumped tall toward the giant villain. 'Just as All Might said: "Squeeze your buttocks... and YELL THIS INSIDE YOUR HEART!"'

"[SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!]" Izuku roared out, punching the giant villain with a powerful fistful on it, making it push back to the ground.

Once the giant villain was defeated, there was one thing that Izuku was at the moment. He was on the air with no support to land safely and the good side, meaning that both of his legs and arm weren't broken was a good omen though the situation he was right now wasn't.

But to him, he was prepared for this situation for something he had happened to experience before.

(Flashback – 2 Years Ago)

Junpei and Izuku had gathered together after Junpei came up with special training for them.

"Izuku, do you mind the high places, like rollercoasters?" He asked out of nowhere.

"U-Uh? Um, yeah, I'm not a big fan of rollercoasters and all, but it's okay with me. Why?" Izuku tilted his head in confusion. "Is it something related to what you said before?"

"Hm, yeah, something like that." Junpei shrugged as he was looking something around.

"What are you looking for?"

"Oh nothing, just making sure that nobody is here." He turned to look at Izuku with a pretty suspicious smile.

"What do you meeeeeeEEEEAAAAAN?!" Izuku asked before he and Junpei were on the air levitating as Junpei's eyes lit up purple. "Wh-What are you doing?!"

"Hm? Didn't I say before? This is the training I came up with!" He answered with a toothy grin. "Weren't you listening to me at all?"

"I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS LIKE THIS, JUKKUN!" Izuku shouted with fear in his tone. Why wouldn't he? He was suddenly up the air around twenty-five feet off the ground and his friend was gleefully having fun.

"Come on, Izuku, don't be such a baby." He joked. As if it was the time to joke around, Izuku thought. "So, the training I came up with is this. Height skydiving; and before you start asking or mumbling as always." He said shushing him with pinching Izuku's lips. "When we become heroes, you have some way to follow bad guys on different terrains but as always it results in chasing or parkour."

Izuku seemed to calm down after hearing his explanation through the view down below was not helping at all.

"So what I'm suggesting is putting off our fears of heights such as this." Junpei summarized.

"You do realize that ain't going to happen, you know…" Izuku deadpanned.

"Oh, come on, Izuku! You'll get used to it in no time!"

Izuku groaned. "Fine, but you pay for lunch the next weeks."

Junpei simply grinned. "Deal! So let's get started!"

The lights that surrounded both Junpei and Izuku faded. Izuku, in realization, screamed all the way down as Junpei simply laughed maniacally next to him, the weeks that would endeavor their special training could hear various screaming and laughing that many unseen bystanders wondered with fear.

(Flashback End)

(Present – Battle Center B)

One of the smaller debris hit Tenya on its head waking him up from his brainwashing. Looking dazed at the sudden predicament, Tenya noticed that he had Ochako on his arms despite not knowing what happened.

"Are you okay?" Tenya asked as Ochako finally took notice of him to start talking. "What just happened?"

"Don't you remember? You were helping us to get me out of the debris that I got stuck under." She explained. "Weren't you paying attention?"

Tenya laid Ochako down gently and placed his hand on his head in a dazed motion. "Sorry but I don't have any recollection of what happened during the practical exam once the zero-point villain appeared. Care to explain it to me?"

Ochako tilted her head in confusion up to his previous actions but she answered his question.

"So after the few minutes left of the practical exam took place, the giant faux villain came. As for that, everyone started running away from it but from my carelessness, I got stuck under that debris." She said pointing at the said debris. "Somehow Deku-kun came to save me and the next thing I noticed is that you came here to help though you didn't say anything."

"Strange, I don't recall anything if you say it like that. I recall only when that guy went straight to the zero-point villain and then nothing. It is as if suddenly my memories feel blurry."

Just then, Ochako had realized that Izuku had jumped off, punched the giant faux villain to the ground and was falling without a way to stop the landing.

"Deku-kun!" Ochako looked at the way Izuku was falling but just before she could take a good look, Izuku had landed with a loud thud making a crater on his landing.

"What is it Ochako?" Izuku asked not fazed that he had just done something abnormal.

Both Ochako and Tenya were flabbergasted to say that a teenager, the same age as them, had landed with a tremendous force after defeating the zero-point villain with ease. Who can't blame them? They had just witnessed someone land, and not saying gently, on the ground after finishing off a giant faux villain.

"Amazing Deku-kun! I didn't know you could do that!" Ochako said with amazement.

"Well, I didn't know too until I tried it." He laughed sheepishly.

Just as they were having their conversation, another earthquake quaked making everyone wonder in disbelief if there was going to be another of the zero-point villain.

All but Izuku, as he had the feeling who was the cause of it.

"Guess Jukkun did something outrageous… again…" He muttered with a sigh.

(Moments Ago – Battle Center C)

Junpei was at the moment running toward the source of the commotion, with Itsuka on behind, that was happening at the end of the practical exam. Ignoring all examinees that were running away from it or some of them witnessing that one examinee was running toward the zero-point faux villain, he just ran toward it completely with the idea of destroying it.

Junpei had many ideas of overcoming this challenge at all. He had many but one of them would be used at this time. He wanted to use every ability of his arsenal to pummel this 'villain' by flying colors. But now? Now he had to show the world, or most likely future colleagues and teachers of him, with ONE move. And that one move is the one that would shake the challenge to the ground.

"Oh, man. This will be fun!" He cackled under his breath as he approached the massive goliath of metal.

"Just get it over with, Jukkun," Itsuka said from behind not amused.

Giving one look at it, Junpei had the feeling that watching it through a screen or a piece of paper had overestimated the gigantic robot's capabilities.

His heart shook in excitement and awe at what this goliath would become after he had destroyed it completely.

Skidding in front of the faux-villain, he had stopped not far facing up against the immeasurable challenger he would fight, or most likely, demolish it.

"Alright, time for some action!" His grin widened ear to ear to the challenge.

(Observation Room – U.A.)

"It seems that we can grasp the capabilities of this year's batch, if I may say." Nedzu mused as the other teachers and staff were nodding in agreement.

"Much for a surprise, I was at least surprised that the minority of the batch is going to be great heroes." A masked wearing a tan clock claimed to watch the screen. "But the others…"

"The others are going to be quite difficult to arrange them dutifully." The dominatrix said with a sigh.

'I hope that Young Midoriya is doing well…' Toshinori thought with a slight fear that his successor couldn't pass the exam but on the other hand, watching the moment Izuku had started gathering points it gave him pride in what he had done. But now, getting the last part of the exam, he didn't think if Izuku would manage to overcome this last challenge.

"Well now…" Nedzu's voice brought Toshinori's though to halt and watch where the principal was looking. "It seems that we have two students that are doing what opposite what you said, Present Mic."

"Really?! I was being that dramatic to scare shitless that those kiddos! I can't believe that few of them had managed to see through my acting!" Hizashi said with much delight and surprise.

Toshinori watched at the screen where the second examinee was running toward the zero-point villain. And that moment, his heart skipped when he saw who it was. It was Junpei Takahashi, the childhood friend of Young Midoriya and the one who talked to him when he was in Dagobah Beach.

"I feel that it's going to be… entertaining." Toshinori muttered with glee as other teachers, within his ear-reach, had listened to him and started paying attention to two individuals.

(Battle Center C)

Junpei had put himself into a stance; a stance which rarely is met against a foe of a high caliber. He had recalled during the years he had been under Arata's tutelage, that one much uses the fighting spirit or what he loves to say 'Killing Intent' on his punches and kicks.

"What is he doing?" "Does he want a death wish?" "He can't possibly be thinking of what I am thinking, right?"

Many examinees that were watching him were muttering among themselves as the others were more practically running away from it in fear or calm, though calmness was mostly the minority between all battle centers.

Junpei ignored the babble of the others as while his stance, being a half-crouched with one behind his hips with his fist clenched and the other relaxing in front of him open-palmed. Junpei closed his eyes though much of the bystanders and teachers were confused about his actions while Itsuka kept quiet watching Junpei's preparation, she knows of his training since she also took part in it. Though she couldn't master the technique Grandmaster Arate drilled on him, she continued taking part in witnessing his training. And now, she was going to witness something astonishing.

He and Itsuka and felt a similar earthquake but not because of a second coming of the goliath but another destroyed one somewhere. Junpei's grin spread earning a proud feeling inside and knowing the notion of who was responsible for the goliath's fate.

As the giant faux-villain was advancing toward him and as the other bystanders weren't able to keep watching what was happening so they ran with their lives and tails between their legs, Junpei continued meditating within a fighting posture just as the goliath stood just inches in front of him, he widened his eyes and punched his fist with all his might.

Junpei had a different point of view since he had memories of his previous life and had taken different skills during his life. His mind had gathered many talents, skills and knowledge of the previous world he lived on that reshaping into his own and become much greater.

With a mighty roar, he did something outrageous even in they lived in an era of Quirk-users and even witnessed only one person do it.

A fist-shaped projectile ejected from his fist and rushed toward the giant robot. As soon as the projectile made contact with the goliath, a stupendous bang was heard from it and created a big smokescreen that the spectator had to cover as specks of dust flew past them.

As the smoke and dirt dispersed, the spectators watched in awe and amazement as the zero-point giant villain stood tall where it was about to land its last step on the one who had created a hole on its mid-torso.

The goliath twitched as the lack of internal pieces rendered its movement and fell backward with a thud creating another smokescreen.

Junpei, proud of his work, dusted his arms and stretched his arms as they were trembling slightly.

"Oh, man, it was better than I thought it would." He said proudly.

"You did it again, Jukkun. Always doing something outrageous that leaves everyone else with their jaws dropped to the ground." Itsuka said walking closer to him.

"Hey, a man needs to relieve his stress out of his body." He said jokily to his orangette childhood.

"If this is your way to relieve your stress, I wouldn't want to imagine when you're actually serious."

They both shared a laugh as the others looked dumbfounded at the conversation and laughing between the two childhood friends.

"TIME'S UP!" Present Mic's voice boomed the entire building announcing the end of the Entrance Exam.

The two childhood friends started to calm themselves down and Itsuka was first to speak. "We finally finished! I was about to exhaust myself there. Shall we check on Izu and Ochako?"

Junpei simply nodded and walked to get their belongings and change their clothes, ignoring the gawked looks of the other examinees.

(Observation Room – U.A.)

The staff and teachers looked in awe and shocked at the display. It wasn't something they had seen every day and the last time it occurred, All Might was the one who displayed the same action years ago. If it was one they would be surprised but having two examinees that conducted in the way a hero would do was astonishing.

"So…" Nedzu's voice brought the attention of everyone in the room to him. "It would seem that we got quite splendid heroes this year."

The nods and hums of the agreement were the only answer he got. Toshinori looked surprised that Young Midoriya did use [One for All] against the zero-point villain but watching Young Takahashi do the same without [One for All] was going to be a challenge for Young Midoriya to become the next Symbol of Peace. At least he was glad that they were both heroes, not grieving that if they were to be his opponent, he didn't know what would happen.

Yes, as Nedzu said, this year is going to be splendid.

As for another staff hero, he continued watching someone with the green-haired kid, the indigo-haired kid was someone he had gained his interest.

(Front Gate – U.A.)

Junpei and Itsuka were standing at the gate of the entrance of U.A. waiting for their two friends after changing back to their casual outfits with their backpacks.

"You think Izu will be alright?" Itsuka asked breaking the silence of waiting for them.

Junpei simply glanced at her before returning to watch the front gates. "Who knows? But let's keep it, optimist when it comes."

"Yeah, we should." She twirled her ponytail with her finger stealing glances at Junpei before noticing the changes of her childhood friend. He had grown taller since she left the prefecture and let his hair grown so much that only the third of his face could be revealed showing his amethyst eye. She had noticed that even if he had tied his hair during the entrance exam, he showed great muscles from the neck down.

'Oh god, he turned into a hunk!' She thought while blushing.

She then noticed the two yellow horns were plastered on his forehead. Maybe with all the anticipation to see again her childhood friends, she had overseen them.

"Jukkun, what's with the horns?" She said pointing at the said horns.

"Hm?" He looked blankly at her with a raised eyebrow before realization struck him. "Oh yeah, you were gone when this happened." He tapped one of his horns. "Well, I haven't told you about this but I had some kind of mutation during my first age of Quirk. The doctor said that I would get not one but two Quirks as I grow up but didn't know what kind of Quirk it would be."

"So, as you know, my first Quirk was [Magic Eyes] which you know fully its capabilities and after you were gone, I got another one called [Oni]. It strengthens me as any Oni has but the letdown is that if I'm not wearing this." He motioned raising his thin armguards. "Then the battle center would have to get someone to repair the place completely."

"Ahh…" She nodded contemplating her childhood friend secondary Quirk revelation. "So wait, if you have [Magic Eyes] and [Oni]… how is it then if you fuse them?"

"[Demon]." Was the quick answer of Junpei.

"…what?" Was the delayed question of Itsuka.

"The name we came up for it was [Demon]…" He scratched his head sheepishly. "Yeah, it was my dad's idea to name it like that. Not my fault there."

"Interesting name from Uncle Genkei but it will do from the meantime."

And on time, Izuku and Ochako were walking toward us.

"Hey, guys!" Izuku called. "Sorry we are late; we were checking on Ochako's injury after debris fell on her and bruised her ankle."

"As I said before, I'm fine Deku-kun," Ochako assured.

"Nonsense! We must always check our injuries with a professional. Luckily U.A. has Recovery Girl on standby if any injuries were to be graver." The 'by the book' teenager exclaimed startling them, except Junpei and Itsuka, completely. "If it weren't for her she could have been in a worse condition which no hero should receive!"

Izuku turned around to see Tenya behind him. "Y-You're…"

"Sorry for my late introduction, my name is Tenya Iida and I'm sorry for my misconduct during the introduction and before the entrance exam started. I misunderstood your relationship with your friend so I came here to apologize!"

"It… It's alright, let's just put the water under the bridge and we're good." Izuku assured him.

"Midoriya-kun, you realized there was something more to that practical exam, didn't you?" Tenya asked bringing a confused look on Izuku. "I had no idea… I misjudged you! I hate to admit it, but you are better than me!"

'I didn't think that Tenya would admit it right now.' Junpei thought while being in silence on the sidelines.

"Ah, sorry, I didn't realize anything," Izuku admitted sheepishly.

"You didn't?!"

"Nah, that doesn't work that way Iida-san," Junpei said bringing Tenya's attention to him. "Heroes don't do because they are told on how to do it. Heroes do what they do because they act on the moment to help others, that's how heroes should act!"

Tenya and the others blinked in contemplation for a few seconds before nodding in agreement.

"I see what you're saying."

"Remember this, heroes save people not because of reputation but because they must a heart of hero to be heroic. If not else, they aren't worth it." He explained.

"I'll keep in mind of it."

"Now that it is done…" Itsuka interrupted. "I'm Itsuka Kendo, nice to meet you Iida-kun."

"The name's Junpei Takahashi. Sorry if we started with the wrong foot at the introduction." Junpei said raising his hand. Not that he was displeased with him but his attitude of 'by-the-book' kind of reminds him, someone, he knew before.

Tenya shook his hand in response. "It is alright. I am also to blame my misconducting action against your friend so we are good."

"So…" Ochako interrupted. "What are we going to do now? I mean, I'm famished after the entrance exam and all."

"Yeah, me too." Izuku agreed, clutching his rumbling stomach. "After what we had done, I could eat something."

"In any case, we should refill ourselves with some nourishment to keep ourselves focused!" Tenya added.

"Not the way I would put it, but okay." Junpei shrugged preparing to leave just before his phone received a message. "Huh?"

Opening up, he saw the deliverer was Mei.

-"Jukkun! Sorry if I can't celebrate the post-entrance exam with you! The Support Department changed the schedule to the afternoon so I won't be there!"-

Junpei hummed thoughtfully as he was also thinking of bringing her to meet the others thought the first idea of them meeting would have been funnier but now that he thought about it, Mei was different from what he had known. In any case, it was too bad that she couldn't join them.

"Who was it, Jukkun?" Izuku asked curiously.

"The person who made me my support items… I wanted to let you guys the inventor but it seems that the exam for Support Department's schedule changed to the afternoon."

"Aw, that's too bad," Ochako said saddened.

For some reason another, Itsuka had the slightest feeling that something was wrong. Her feminine instinct told her so but it was like a faint hint of it which she couldn't grasp.

"Something wrong, Itsuka?" Junpei asked with a raised eyebrow, noting the expression she made while thinking.

"Hm-mh, it's nothing." Itsuka shook her head. "Just getting hungrier while we are waiting here, that's all."

"Oh yeah, maybe I should call someone to join us," Izuku said taking out his cellphone.

"Can I also join in?" A voice brought their attention as they saw an indigo teenager standing behind Tenya.

"Oh! You're…" Ochako started.

"I'm Hitoshi Shinso. We met back in the battle center B." He said gesturing to Izuku and Ochako.

"Yeah, you're the insomniac guy!" Ochako said bluntly.

"…That's really a blunt way to describe someone Ochako-chan." Junpei deadpanned with a sweatdrop.

"Anyways…" Itsuka cut in. "Yeah, it's alright for you to join us, Shinso-kun."

Hitoshi simply nodded with a smile.

"Yeah, the more the merrier it would be more enjoyable with more people." Tenya agreed. "Shall we endeavor to fill our stomach to our heart contest?"

Having said that, they started walking toward a place to eat as Izuku tucked his cellphone inside his pocket and Junpei walked back with him.

"Who did you message to?"

"Just a friend I met before. She'll be there." He said leaving like that thought Junpei was curious about who he met with.

Last month he had been too focused on training, testing Mei's babies and studying that he had rarely the time to hang out with Izuku. Sure, there were times that they would train together, gather the materials in the Dagobah Beach for Mei and eat together after school but his private life was kind of private on his own so he didn't know who he met during his daily life.

If this is a way that each one of them had to meet other Class 1-A characters daily, he should get used to it since he had met Itsuka, Mei, and Tsuyu before entering U.A.

The group reached their destination where it was a meat restaurant that they serve you, obviously meat, depending on the type and weight. And there was a black-haired woman dressed elegantly at the entrance which Junpei quickly recognized who she is.

"Momo!" Izuku called. Most of the group was confused about who she was but rest assured when Izuku called her. Ochako had a ting of jealously of the girl which she didn't realize it and Itsuka was quite suspicious, narrowing her eyes on her, but relented to do something drastic if she's hostile or not.

"Izuku!" Momo waved her hand. "How it's been the entrance exam?"

"Quite well but it left me famished."

"Izu, who's she?" Itsuka asked warily.

"Oh, sorry for the late introduction, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu. It is nice to meet Izuku's friends." She said bowing slightly.

"Yaoyorozu?!" Tenya exclaimed, shocked with his eyes wide open.

"Do you know her, Iida-kun?" Ochako inquired as Itsuka was also curious.

"Of course! The Yaoyorozu family is quite well-known to heroes that require their services on getting support items! They are one of the major industries for heroes!" Tenya said receiving various wows though Ochako was likely feeling at disadvantage for her being richer and beautiful than her.

"That's right, but today I am just Momo Yaoyorozu." She assured. "I don't want to be seen as the daughter of a prestigious family but for myself."

"That's fine," Itsuka replied, noticing Ochako's mood. "Shall we enter?"

As soon as they entered the eatery, many of the customers recognized two people as they started whispering.

"The champions." "The glutton king is here." "I can't believe they came here." "Do you think I could ask for an autograph?"

There were many whispers about the group which Ochako, Tenya, Hitoshi, Itsuka, and Momo were puzzled of the chatters.

"Um, what's going on? And who's the 'Glutton Kings' they are talking about?" Ochako asked, confused which everyone was mirroring.

The group turned their attention to two people that were silent during the conversation. Itsuka was first to realize their silence.

"Do they mean…?"

Izuku nodded sheepishly and scratched his cheek. "Yeah… they are talking about us." He confessed with Junpei humming in agreement.

"What do they mean about that?" Hitoshi asked quite baffled.

"About that…" Izuku started. "Last year the place made an eating competition here so which we didn't want to take part in it but the owner, and he knows us well, persuade us to take part in it and ended up winning. Though Jukkun was the one who won the competition."

"Ah yes, still, it was quite challenging since there was one person who almost gave me my defeat," Junpei said cryptically with a smirk.

(A/N: I'm going to leave it like that.)

"I wonder who that person was." Ochako wondered aloud.

"In any case…" Junpei cut in. "We should get started to eat."

The group agreed and went to get their meal.

"I want 200g of short ribs, please!" Ochako said.

"I would like 250g of porterhouse, if you may!" Tenya said politely.

"I would like the same please but 350g," Momo added.

"Um, I would get 250g of rib steak," Hitoshi asked for.

"I want 230g chuck roast, please," Itsuka said.

"I would like 250g arm roast and 150g chuck roast!" Izuku said.

"And I would like 350g sirloin and 150g round!" Junpei finalized the order.

"Order coming up!" The chef said with a smile walking toward his griller.

Ochako, Tenya, Hitoshi, and Momo looked amazed and shocked with widening eyes onto them. Itsuka already knew of their eating behavior though she was slightly surprised at their big orders.

After calming themselves, they started eating and their energy started to return to them. Finishing up, the group stayed with adding drinks as they rested their stomachs.

"That was delicious!" Ochako said with delight.

"I do agree! The place must be professionals to keep the meat in top shape to the customers' consumption!" Tenya agreed.

"I wonder if everyone here would be in the same classroom," Itsuka said getting various nods and hums in agreement.

"I don't know how U.A. chooses the students for each classroom." Tenya started. "But I do assure that the staffs of U.A. are capable to undergo each potential of the students and put them in their upstanding skills on their respected classes."

"Hm, maybe so." Hitoshi shrugged but Junpei and Izuku noticed how uncomfortable and uneasy he was when mentioned about the classes.

"Don't you worry, Shinso-kun, either way, U.A. is going to see your Quirk and put you in Heroics," Junpei assured.

"How can you be so sure?"

"Now that I think about it…" Izuku started. "What is your Quirk, Shinso-kun?"

"Ah, um… I don't think it is best to say it."

Junpei noticed how afraid and tense he was. He couldn't blame him at all since his Quirk wasn't viewed as heroic such as Himiko's. Society sees the negative views of a person without knowing them so this is another example of how ignorant and insensitive people can be.

"Well, maybe we should get to know each other." Itsuka began. "I'm Itsuka Kendo, my Quirk's [Big Fist]. And I can enlarge my hands to the size of a giant and as my hands grow, it increases the strength of my striking and gripping capabilities."

"That is a good idea." Momo agreed. "As I said before, my name is Momo Yaoyorozu. My Quirk: [Creation] gives me the ability to create non-living materials by transforming the molecular structure of my fat cells. To create something, I need to understand the molecular structure of what material I'm trying to create."

"My name's Ochako Uraraka. The name for my Quirk is [Zero Gravity], giving me the power to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets by touching them with the pads on my fingertips." She motioned to show the pads on her fingertips giving the image of a cat. "When I touch them, they become weightless and make them float, and I can cancel them as I touch my fingertips together."

"My name is Tenya Iida. My Quirk is [Engine] giving me car-like engines on my calves, giving me super speed. I can change the speed depending on the situation and I likely have exhaust pipes to cool them down."

"I'll continue," Junpei said. "My name's Junpei Takahashi. My Quirk's name is [Demon] giving me the strength of a demon and also use telekinesis to lift, hold and hover by illuminating my eyes." He motioned to show his eyes and a sudden purple light transpired on his eyes getting various awes. He let off and continued. "But using them too much, I tend to get migraines so I don't usually use them much."

Izuku noted that Junpei didn't mention about his 'teleportation' abilities but kept his tongue on, even Itsuka didn't know about it. He may have a reason for it and he was going to ask about it.

"It's your turn Izu." Junpei's voice brought him back from his thoughts.

"O-Oh yeah…" He said closing his notebook, as he previously opened up and started scripting on them, and started. "My name's Izuku Midoriya. I am what you call a late-bloomer but that was a year ago."

"You were Quirkless?!" Ochako said in disbelief. "But you were strong and good with your Quirk!"

"Ah, well, in truth I didn't use my Quirk as I learned martial arts from years ago so I could keep up without using it."

The statement left them, except Junpei and Itsuka, in surprise awe. Though Itsuka was kind of surprise that Izuku got a Quirk a year ago.

"There was something our Master told us before." Izuku started. "There are no useless or villainous Quirks but the person chooses its path to them. You can't make people change their minds by telling them but show them what you're capable of." He quoted.

"Amazing…" Ochako wowed softly.

"So you get it?" Junpei grinned to Hitoshi. "We won't judge you for what your Quirk is but the person you are."

Hitoshi kept quiet pondering the words silently turning it into a mindful path he will choose for others to see him bright.

"Yeah, I think so." He breathed in and out to calm himself. "My name's Hitoshi Shinso. My Quirk's [Brainwashing], I can take control of the minds of many people who verbally respond to me. I can make them do things but can't do things that require advanced brain function."

"Huh, that's why people tend to overlook its uses and make you look like a villain," Tenya said. "My condolences, those people shouldn't be rude of someone like you."

"Yeah… But sorry that I controlled you before Iida-san." Hitoshi apologized. "It was at the moment during the final part of the practical exam and, well, I had to do something to help him." He thumbed Izuku.

"It does not offend me if that meant helping someone during a dangerous situation. But next time, I would like to be warned about it."

Hitoshi sighed in relief that a new friend wasn't mad at him. "I'll try but there are no promises."

Junpei seemed happy internally watching Hitoshi opening up with others. Maybe he should make them meet with Mei so she can at least be at ease with them. They weren't a bad bunch since his knowledge let him examine them fully.

"Alright, we should rest for the day. I don't know when U.A. is going to send us our scores." He said standing up from his seat.

"I wanted to meet Grandmaster Arata before the day," Itsuka said. "Why not visit him before returning?"

Junpei and Izuku smiled at her.

"Sure, let's go." Junpei turned to the others. "Why don't you guys join us? You'll meet the one who trained us."

"Sure, I don't mind!" Ochako replied with a smile.

"I still have some time before returning home." Tenya nodded checking his wristwatch.

"Why not?" Hitoshi shrugged.

"I would like to see your master," Momo said.

They paid up their food and went to their dojo. It was night time but the dojo still filled with light despite the weather and hour.

The group entered the dojo and saw Grandmaster Arata sitting in the ground meditating.

"It would seem that my apprentices are back for today!" He said surprising the group except for the students.

"Grandmaster Arata!" The three bowed politely while a fist planted on the other hand.

Arata smiled over his students before leaping on the air and landing in front of them.

"I see you returned Itsuka. It's been a while, my young apprentice." Arata said before a smirk formed on his face. "Also, didn't I say before that polite crap ain't welcome here?"

The trio smiled before straitening up and seeing their master in front of them. The others bowed politely before introducing themselves.

"So, what brings you here?" Arata asked. "This ain't the hour to train as most people tend to rest."

"It's not like that Grandmaster Arata. We just returned from the entrance exam of U.A. and wanted our friends to meet you." Izuku said before motioning the master to the others.

"Ho-hoo~ so how did it go?"

"Splendidly." Junpei grinned. "You could say that both Izuku and I ended the exam with a bang!"

Suddenly, Arata cackled madly hanging his head back surprising the others. The trios were used to his laugh so they weren't fazed at all.

"Good, good, that will show them that my pupils ain't a bunch of sissies to be underestimated. I hope you get into Heroics that way or else I would have gone to U.A. to talk to them."

"Please don't, Grandmaster Arata." Itsuka pleaded with a tiny smile.

After taking their conversation and their routines of training inside the dojo, the group split up and returned to their respected households.

(One Week Later – Shinso's Household)

Hitoshi was nervous. No, nervous doesn't compare for he is feeling at the moment. He was panicking inside, trotting from left to right on his room doubting that he had passed the chance to become a hero. He was anxious that if he didn't pass the entrance exam he wouldn't be able to tell others that he could become a hero on his own.

But most of all, he was sad that if he didn't get into U.A. he wouldn't be able to see his new friends. Friends that didn't bat an eye or ignored him because of his Quirk. They were the first people that acknowledged his existence, not like a villain but a friend.

He jumped out when his mother came to him with the letter of U.A.

He was at the moment sitting on his bed with the letter on hand and his heart started racing fast. He slowly opened the letter and took out the hologram disk inside. And once the hologram lit up, appeared a person which Hitoshi didn't recognize.

The man was wearing all black except for the white scarf around his neck. His eyes were dull and lazy as if he didn't have slept for days but it showed the calculative and keen eyes of a professional he didn't think he had despite his look.

"You must be wondering, who is the hell is this man, right?" The man said to no one but Hitoshi nodded unconsciously. "Well, for starters, I'm simply someone who works on U.A. and usually it's Nedzu who does this but I wanted to be the one to give you your results."

Hitoshi gulped nervously as he listened quietly to the man.

"As for your written exam, you passed with approval results." Hitoshi could feel the 'But' in it. "But as for your practical exam, you have only gained 7 points which are obvious that it isn't enough to even be considered."

The only thing Hitoshi could do after hearing this was to grit his teeth in frustration. It wasn't fair that his Quirk wasn't suitable for this exam and it wasn't flashy enough to be considered good. The only comment he would hear from his Quirk, it was that it is villainous. And he hated it!

"But that's not all…" At that Hitoshi perked up. "Your 7 points weren't the only points you would gain during the exam, there were also rescue points which show how examinees act like heroes. Your actions had gained 23 rescue points from the judges, and in total is 30, it ain't enough."

Another hopeless statement, Hitoshi hung his head lower in depression.

"Still, I'm quite interested in you Quirk: [Brainwashing]." The man continued. "Such a Quirk like yours couldn't bring the potential in the practical exam since there is a rule which you can't interfere with others. Though the last minutes of the exam you did the otherwise despite the warning."

Hitoshi winced when he helped Izuku and Ochako at the last minutes but it was most likely out of wanting to help them.

"I'm not saying it was the wrong thing you did." He yawned in exhaustion."What you did, was what you got you those 23 rescue points."

"Huh?" Hitoshi uttered in confusion.

"What we, as heroes in U.A., are looking for is for heroes that are dedicating in protecting others. Despite the exam was timed and the warning we gave to the examinees, you ignored it in favor to help those two." A smirk formed onto the man's face. "You have potential, Hitoshi Shinso, which begs that you had gained my attention."

Hitoshi gasped in surprise.

"You'll be put in the General Studies Course in U.A. but I'll put you in shape and when the moment is right, you'll show everyone that even you are capable to turn into a hero! For we shall meet in Musutafu Local Park in two days after you received this message at 7 AM, I'm going to put you through hellish training that the meaning of Plus Ultra will be literal. If you don't come to the day of your training, it only means that you had surrendered and left your chance to escape you. Hope to see you there."

With that the message ended, leaving a tearing Hitoshi accepting the training and making preparation for it.

(Takahashi's Household)

It has been one week since the entrance exam ended. Each one of the groups shared their contact numbers so they could continue chatting as well as resting their bodies before the grand moment of their lives.

Junpei stayed at home during the weekend with his family while his parents were at the kitchen preparing for dinner while the others were sitting on the couch watching TV or fidgeting their phones to see videos or news.

Just then, their doorbell rang getting their attention and Genkei went to get it.

"It finally came!"

Genkei gave Junpei the letter and he went straight to his room. He left the letter over his desk and sat in front of it.

He knew that each one of the letters directed to the examinees was managed to the principal of U.A. but he didn't know how could they ended up since ever since he came into this world, he was a wild card which anything could happen.

He made Izuku get a backbone and confidence of himself and while he continues muttering as he writes down on his notebook, he was a different Izuku he thought of. He did also meet Itsuka on the dojo, even though he didn't know where she used to live before Chiba prefecture, meeting Mei when his second Quirk surfaced and had the difficulty to control it, meeting Himiko during his unexpected encounter with her and meeting Tsuyu on his way along.

He didn't also think that Izuku would meet with Momo. And even though it was fated that they would meet with Ochako and Tenya, he did talk with Eijiro during his practical exam and add Hitoshi into their group.

Alas, his life would be different from the original version. But he would cross that bridge later.

Now, he was glancing at the letter in front of him and though he didn't need to feel nervous, his body reflected that nervousness that he didn't have before.

He carefully ripped the letter and a hologram disk happened to be inside, of course and took it out onto his desk. The hologram disk bolted into life and an image of the All Might appeared on the screen.

"I am here as a projection, Young Takahashi!" All Might's voice boomed the room."It is I, All Might, to give you your score on both written and practical exams!"

It was quite a surprise that All Might was the one who appeared on the screen. He wondered if it was like that to everyone or selected people.

"As I said before…" All Might cleared his throat. "On your written exam, you had completed all questions available and got yourself a full score on it!"

It was not hard for him to study at all. He hoped at least help some of his classmates with lower scores so he was preparing himself for it.

"And as for your practical exam, it was indeed quite exciting and interesting to see you fight against our faux-villains with ease. Though we let participants wear support items, I do hope that you could learn that not always you can depend on them."

Yep, he has to learn to hold back on his own or else it wouldn't matter the meaning to support himself without them.

"You got yourself 56 points during the practical exam. Though we were mostly pleased with your capabilities to battle against grand foes, it wasn't only the points that you needed for heroism." All Might said and later paused. "As you can see, the 56 points you obtained was only the villain points for your battle prowess. There were also rescue points for those which you did on the way to help others despite it were timed and seeing that you helped most people on the way, you have gained 44 rescue points combining them into 100 points!"

Wow, 100 points! Who would have thought he would get that much of points.

"In truth, I'm quite surprised that you almost broke the record! Which is mine, of course, with 125 points!" He stopped and cleared his throat embarrassed. "Anyways, congratulation, Young Takahashi, you got accepted in the U.A. High school in Heroics!"

With that, the hologram faded and left Junpei with an accomplished smile.

Yeah, it was going to be the best and hard years of his life.

He gave the news to his parents and they celebrated their night with a banquet.

Before he got into bed, a buzzing sound sounded on his cellphone. It was Izuku calling him so he picked up to answer.

"Hey, Izu, what's up?"

"Did you get the letter?"

"Of course I did. Who do you think I am?"

Izuku laughed on the other side. "Yeah, good news, by the way, I got myself 39 villain points and 53 rescue points so in total I received 111 points!"

Junpei's eyes widened at the notice. Izuku got himself 39 villain points and 53 rescue points?! That is a huge character development if he was honest.

"Hey, wow, it is impressing Izu. I didn't think you were capable of that!" He joked.

"Ha-ha, very funny." He said with no anger on his tone. "Anyways, this is it Jukkun! We are going to get into U.A.!"

"Yeah, well, I got myself 110 points in total so won!" He said with smug. "And yeah, this is where our story starts. I'll see you later!"

"Yeah, good night Jukkun."

He hung on him and glanced at his phone for a few seconds before putting it aside. He lay down on his bed and stared at the ceiling in contemplation.

Yeah, as he thought before… it was going to be the best and hard years of his life.

TO BE CONTINUED

I gave some Eijiro and Hitoshi some appearance in today's chapter so that they can see a different point of view of them. Eijiro was like Izuku, by being low in confidence and all before entering U.A. and as for Hitoshi, he needs to be part of Heroics and all. I mean who would use a villainous-like Quirk for good?! So yeah, even if I have to continue as it is, I'll make some changes on the canon.

As for the scene of the meat eatery, it came from the idea of "Komi-san wa komyushou desu" chapter 139. It would really like to go a place like that if I knew where.
