CHAPTER 14
USJ & Villains
The next day had been another day in U.A. The classes were normal except the strange class with some... eccentric teachers but in a way, everyone was excited today. Why? Because today, they had Hero Basic Training.
"For today's Hero Basic Training, it's turned into a class with three instructors, All Might and me, and one more person," Shota informed.
Each everyone student looked curious and worried when Shota mentioned 'Turned into' but others were competent to hear what was going to happen.
Hanta raised his hand. "Excuse me! What'll we be doing?"
Shota answered first by raising a card that said 'Rescue' on it. "Disasters, shipwrecks, and everything in between. It's a rescue training." He declared.
"Rescue... Looks like it'll be a lot of work this time, too." Denki assumed.
"Right!" Mina said, fired up.
"Idiot, this is the duty of a hero!" Eijiro stated. "My arms are ready to rumble!"
Everyone else was thinking the same thing except that one was more centered on one thing than others.
"No one can beat me in water, ribbit." Tsuyu declared confidently.
"Hey, I'm not done," Shota added, silencing everyone. "You can decide if you want to wear your costume or not this time because there are probably costumes that limit your abilities, too." He pressed a button and the containers emerged from it. "The training will take place off-campus, so we're taking a bus. That is all. Start getting ready."
Everyone nodded and went to get their costumes.
-o-
Everyone was wearing their costumes, Izuku included since his costume wasn't destroyed previously which Junpei glad for him wearing it instead of his P.E. outfit.
"Hey, how's hanging with it Izu?" Junpei asked pocketing his hands on his coat.
"Eh, nothing much, I'm considering to upgrade it when I think of something." He answered, eyeing his costume.
"I do hope that nothing happens this time," Ochako added. "I mean, you could have been hurt because of Bakugo."
"I do believe so," Momo said. "Despite the past you three have, I'm worried that something dangerous happens."
"Eh, worst things happened before." Junpei shrugged but had to admit that what was going to happen was dangerous beyond belief.
FWEEEEP!
Everyone heard the blowing whistle and looked that Tenya was standing next to the bus.
"Class 1-A, gather round! Form two lines by your student numbers in order to make boarding the bus go smoothly!"
"Uh, shouldn't you two have done it?" Izuku asked the duo Class Representatives with a sweatdrop hanging on his head.
"He said that as the Secretary of Class A, he would do it," Momo answered with a deadpan tone.
"But you know he's going to be a little sad when he knows the bus' structure..." Junpei said with the same tone.
Izuku and Ochako wondered what he meant...
-o-
"Ah... That's why..." Ochako said when she saw the interior of the bus with Izuku nodding beside her.
"Shoot. I didn't think it'd be this type of bus." Tenya cursed for his lack of knowledge.
"There was no point, huh?" Mina comforted him.
Izuku sat where Junpei knew he would seat as he sat just behind Momo and Ochako with Akari.
"I say whatever comes to mind." Tsuyu started as she looked at Izuku. "Midoriya-chan."
"Yes, Tsu-chan?" The greenette wondered in confusion.
"Your Quirk is like All Might's." She stated, shocking him completely as his eyes widened marginally big and started to sweat.
"Huh?! Y-Y-You think so? But I'm... uh..." He stuttered miserably. Junpei sighed seeing his childhood friend looking like a dumbass, even an idiot would see that he is hiding something.
"Wait a sec, Tsu-chan." Eijiro interrupted, and god-bless Izuku felt that way. "Yeah, his Quirk looks like that but Quirk can be variable depending on who's using it. They just kind of look the same. For example, Takahashi uses the same method as All Might but it isn't!"
"Y-Y-Yeah! That's what my Quirk does!" Izuku added hurryingly.
She stared at him for a moment before shrugging off her previous question.
"But it's nice to have a simple Augmenting-Type Quirk. You can do lots of flashy stuff!" Eijiro remarked and started to harden his arms. "My [Hardening]'s strong against others, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like much."
"Don't doubt about yourself, Kirishima," Junpei assured him. "Quirks are strong depending on how their users are using it. Remember this, 'there are no weak powers, only weak users'."
"He's right!" Izuku added. "I mean, I think it's really cool! It's a Quirk that can definitely pass as a pro's!"
"A pro's, huh?" He sighed melancholically. "But you have to think about popularity as a hero, too, you know."
"Don't be so bummed down, Kirishima," Junpei told him. "Popularity doesn't come just because his or her Quirk is flashy but because of how heroic they are." He said earning various awes and nods.
"Yeah, maybe you're right."
"My [Navel Laser] is pro-level in both flashiness and strength." Yuga declared confidently.
"But it's not great that it gives you a stomachache," Mina interjected which Yuga side-glared her gloomily.
Eijiro chuckled. "Well, if you're talking about flashy and strong, it's gotta be Todoroki, Bakugo, and Takahashi, though, huh?"
Everyone looked at them for a moment. Shoto was staring out of the window thinking of something, Katsuki was hearing everything and when everyone looked at him he simply grunted in dismissal, and Takahashi had his arms crossed sitting quietly next to Akari that was snoozing with her head on the window.
"Bakugo-chan's always mad, so he doesn't seem like he'll be popular, though." Tsuyu teased harshly making the others chuckle.
"What the hell! You wanna fight!" Katsuki snapped barging his teeth.
"See?"
"We haven't known each other that long, so it's amazing that everyone already knows his personality is crap stepped in sewage." Denki rubbed salt on his pride.
"What's with that vocabulary, bastard?! I'll fucking kill you, Pikachu!" Katsuki snarled making everyone laugh.
Izuku looked okay with how Katsuki was being teased. "Kacchan is being teased and I can't believe what I'm seeing! That's U.A. for you!"
"God, I hope to tell Itsuka about it!" Junpei chuckled.
"You ain't telling shit, Shitty-Eyes!"
"What a vulgar conversation." Momo deadpanned, disturbed while covering her mouth.
"But I like stuff like this, too!" Ochako added cheerfully.
Junpei calmed down his laugh and started doing his preparations for what was going to happen. Even if his life had been different since he had met Himiko before and planned for something, he had no problem thinking that what was going to happen would be true. If he is wrong, it was going to be okay but if it happens; then it's another story.
He peeked between the seats in front of him and whispered. "Hey, Yaoyorozu-san. Could you make me a favor?"
"Yes, I could. What is it, Takahashi-san?" Momo asked.
"Could you make me some kind of electric bombs or something? Something that could electrify or stun to immobilize a grand group of people?"
"Yes, I can. But that kind of force wouldn't be capable even for me, why would you ask?"
"Let's say..." He frowned a little. "It's just a hunch in me."
Momo and Ochako looked at him skeptically for a moment before Ochako asked. "You sure?"
"Hey, I sometimes feel this when I do spars with Grandmaster Arata. It's like some kind of instinct I have." He lied. Of course, his instincts tell him the danger when something is about to happen but he rather lie to them telling them something outrageous and they even know his master.
"Well, we did see how he fights and Itsuka-chan mentioned something or two about him," Ochako said.
Momo nodded and created some capsule-like bombs that had something to store the energy but it wasn't enough. At least she had decided to create something to help store it.
"Thanks." He said before calling Denki with a hand-gesture.
"Hey, what is it?" He asked curiously.
"Hey, could you perhaps help me with this? I want you to store enough electricity on these babies." He said and then blinked. "Wow, I'm starting to sound like Mei." He whispered to himself.
"Sure but, ah, why do you need that?" Denki wondered.
"Let's say... for precautions." He said cryptically. "And if you can keep your mouth shut, I'll give you a signed poster of Kitsu but nothing else."
Denki's eyes widened bright and smirked. "Deal."
As for the next minutes we went out, Denki has been charging the grenades with his Quirk. Hopefully, he ain't going to dumb down because of it.
-o-
"We're here. Stop messing around." Shota called us out as we arrived to our destination.
"Yes, sir!"
Getting off the bus, Junpei noted that the place they arrived looked like a planetarium and goddamn, he was impressed by it.
"Damn, look at that." He said with awe.
But despite the awesomeness, they were standing in front of the third instructor that was wearing some kind of bulgy astronaut suit.
"Everyone, I have been waiting for you."
"It's the Space Hero: Thirteen!" The gentlemanly hero who has rescued tons of people from disasters!" Izuku pressed his fan-boy mode instantly.
"Oh, I love Thirteen!" Ochako added with the same energy.
"I'm surprised that you don't about it, Izu." Junpei started. "I mean, despite that Thirteen-sensei is indeed a gentlemanly hero, he is reality a she! If you noticed the way she walks and needs, she is qualified as a female rather than a male!"
The revelation was quite shocking for most of the students since nobody had noticed her gender at first. Thirteen, if Junpei could notice something underneath her mask, he could say that she was quite surprised of her gender revelation but nonetheless she was also respecting his quick sights.
Junpei had to be more shocking than any of them. When he started to read and watch the series, he didn't know at all of her genders; he always thought Thirteen was a man but until the revelation that the 'My Hero Academia Official Character Book Ultra Analysis' (yeah, I know the name is long) had revealed Thirteen's gender.
"Okay, now that we have ended up this revelation, let's go inside without delay." Thirteen declared.
"Look forward to working with you!" Most of the students chorused in unison bowing politely.
Getting inside the place, they were welcomed with the marvelous sight of the grand space it had inside. They could see various types of rescue zones, getting ready to be used.
"Wow, it looks like Universal Studios Japan!" Eijiro said in awe.
"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, etcetera. It is a training ground that I made with different types of accidents and disasters." She proclaimed. "It's called the 'Unforeseen Simulation Joint' or 'USJ' for short!"
'It really is USJ...' Everyone thought in unison with a blank expression.
Shota walked next to Thirteen and whispered. "Thirteen, where's All Might? He was supposed to meet us here."
Thirteen leaned closer to Shota and raised three fingers. "From what I was told, it looks as though he'd been out hero-ing while commuting up until his time was up. Now, he's resting in the nap room."
"That's the height of irrationality," Shota grunted, displeased. "It can't be helped. Shall we begin?"
"Let's see..." Thirteen started. "Before we being, let me say one thing... er... or two, or three... or four... five... six... seven..."
'It's increasing...' Everyone deadpanned with a sweatdrop hanging on their head.
"Everyone, I am sure you are aware of my Quirk: [Black Hole]. I can suck up anything and turn it to dust." Thirteen informed.
"You've been able to use that Quirk to save people from all kinds of disasters, right?" Izuku asked as Ochako nodded vigorously in agreement.
"Yes, but it is a power that can kill easily." She accepted the danger. Everyone stopped on their listening in happy-to-go to serious. "Some of you also have Quirks like that, right? In a superhuman society, personal Quirks have been certified and stringently regulated, so that doesn't seem to be a problem at first glance." She explained. "However, please do not forget that there are many Quirks that can easily kill with one wrong step."
Everyone nodded as Izuku glanced at Junpei which he also looked at him, knowing that Junpei's two Quirks were vastly dangerous if not checked constantly. Junpei, despite having lived in a non-Quirk world, knew the danger of his Quirks as they started evolving through the years.
"With Aizawa's physical fitness test, you found out about the possibility of your own hidden powers, and with All Might's person-to-person combat training, I think you experienced the danger of using those powers against others." She said humbly. "This class is a fresh start. You shall learn how to use your Quirks to save people's lives. You do not have powers so you can harm others. I hope you leave here with the understanding that you have powers in order to help others."
Most knew their Quirks since they were developed, so now they have to do their best to use it with caution.
Thirteen bowed. "That is all. Thank you for listening."
"That was wonderful!"
"Bravo! Bravo!"
Everyone cheered her for the explanation she said. Before she could continue, Junpei grabbed the three grenades Momo and Denki helped him to developed and prepared when the time would come.
Junpei ignored the continuation of Thirteen's speech and walked to the edge of the stairs.
"Hey, Takahashi, what are you-?" He couldn't finish wording as the sudden danger appeared.
The lights flickered for a moment before darkening the entire stadium and the center of it, a black vortex appeared next to the fountain and people started walking inside the building.
The first one to enter was a slim man with messy light blue hair. He was wearing black pants, a featureless black V-neck shirt that exposes his collarbones, and red hi-top sneakers with no socks. His name was Tomura Shigaraki, the user of the Quirk: [Decay].
Next to him appeared a mist guy wearing a very elegant suit with a tie and has five metal plates that go from around his collarbone to just below his yellow-colored eyes. His name's Kurogiri, the user of the Quirk: [Warp Gate].
Behind him, appeared various grunt villains, each with different Quirks for the same purpose of their uses that only Junpei knew for now: to kill All Might, the Symbol of the Peace.
Junpei narrowed his eyes staring right ahead of him at the villains. Somehow he wasn't scared. He accepted many dangerous things during his previous world, being in front of many people with the mind of killing a hero and students; he wasn't fazed at all against the danger.
Instead, he smirked and held his grenades tightly to prepare. "50% Limiter." He whispered to his support equipment.
"Is this like the Entrance Exam where the lesson's already started?" Eijiro wondered with a shivering feeling.
"No. No, it ain't, Kirishima." Junpei called out, his tone calm but fierce startling most of the students. "They're villains!"
Everyone gasped as Shota was preparing his goggles for combat. But before he could jump out, Junpei raised his hand to stop him.
"Wait a minute, Aizawa-sensei."
"Why are you standing here? You need to evacuate with the others right now!" He ordered.
He didn't say anything for few seconds glancing at him coolly at his teacher. "But I have a gift for them."
Before he could ask what he was talking about, Junpei threw the three grenades on one hand and made them soar through the air.
The villains that had just arrived looked at the three balls getting at them.
"Hey, what are those-" One of them could only say before the balls impacted the ground forcefully creating a big crater. For a moment everyone gasped or was on the air as the impact made them fly up but in the instant, they were wondering what just happened, the grenades lit up and expulsed a million volts of electricity to those that were unlucky to be near.
The screams of the villains were deafening as they weren't lucky to be a little farther than the unluckiest ones.
Tomura gaped at what just happened with widen eyes. "What just happened?"
"Now, it's showtime," Junpei growled with ecstasy as some of the villains were knocked out instantly without being able to do something.
-o-
Tomura was not happy with what he just witnessed. He started off as confused, then surprised, then shocked and now infuriated. He didn't know what just happened and that made him mad.
"What's the meaning of this Kurogiri? I thought that our coming would be unpredictable!" He hissed at the warping user.
"I do not know, Shigaraki, but nonetheless we have recruited enough villains to go against All Might so you should remain calm." He said calmly.
Tomura's hand was just barely close to his neck but calmed down and glared at the heroes at the edge of the stairs. "Just Thirteen and Eraser Head, huh? The teacher's schedule we received the other day said that All Might was also supposed to be here." He said dangerously. "Never mind about the first wave, I went through the trouble of bringing the whole crowd, too... So there aren't enough of these people... All Might... The Symbol of Peace... I can't believe he's not here. I wonder if he'll come if we kill some kids." He smirked evilly.
-o-
Shoto glanced at the villains. "The trespassing the other day was the work of these scumbags after all, huh?" He then glanced at Junpei. 'How could have he known about them? Could it have been a coincidence?'
Even if Junpei knocked out the ones that entered first, there were more villains getting into the building. Thirteen quickly pulled him back with the other students.
'What the pro heroes fight against and what they face...' Junpei started with a smirk. '...is an extraordinary evil.'
"What? Villains? No way... There's no way they could get into a Hero school!" Eijiro declared, worried about the villains.
"Teacher, what about the trespasser sensors?" Momo asked to Thirteen with worry.
"They aren't working," Junpei said, surprising everyone including Thirteen. "The moment the lights were turned off, the trespasser sensors were also turned off. Maybe they have some kind of EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) type of Quirk among them that disabled completely the USJ grounds." He explained with a hissing tone.
"Did they only appear here, or around the whole school?" Shoto wondered. "An isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class is supposed to be here. They might be fools, but they're not dumb. This surprise attack was carefully planned with some sort of goal in mind."
"I agree with you on that, Todoroki." Junpei agreed. "Think about it, why would the villains come here? Why now? What would be the reason that they would have planned out this invasion right here on U.A.?"
Everyone pondered his words for a second, thinking over the answer but they were as confused except the teachers that grasped what he meant.
"You mean..." Thirteen gasped.
"Yes. They came here to kill All Might; the Symbol of Peace." He declared firmly making everyone gasp in shock. "If they kill him, then the villains would take the moment of enjoyment. Chaos, destruction, everything they would get without someone taking the pillar of heroes."
Yeah, Junpei knew exactly despite that he needed his memories. He understood that if the top pillar of society crumbled, the others would follow and the villains would take that moment to destroy everything on their path.
Shota narrowed his eyes and looked at Thirteen. "Thirteen, start the evacuation. Try calling the school. These villains even had something to counteract the sensors. It's possible someone with radio-wave-type powers is interfering." He then turned to Denki. "Kaminari. You try contacting the school with your Quirk, too."
"Yes, sir." Denki nodded before taking action.
"What about you, sir? Will you fight by yourself?" Izuku asked, worried. "With that many, even if you can erase their Quirks... Eraser Head's fighting style is capturing after erasing the enemy's Quirk. A frontal battle is..."
Shota looked at him over his shoulder. "You can't be a hero with just one trick. Anyways, Takahashi managed to defeat most of the villains and that's something." He then glared. "And I hope that you have some explanation about it!"
"Right..." Junpei rolled his eyes not looking at him.
Shota turned to Thirteen. "I'm leaving it to you, Thirteen." He said before jumping over the hot zone.
Junpei saw that the Shooting Squad tried to fire at him but Aizawa-sensei used his Quirk on them, later tied them with his custom-made scarf and throw them onto the ground.
Now they were cautious as they recognized who he was.
A heteromorphic-type villain charged at him, mocking that he couldn't do something such as him. Aizawa-sensei punched the villain and as he was flying, he tied him up and slammed onto the villains.
Shota was good at close-combat too. That's a pro hero for you. And thank for his goggles, the villains can't tell whose Quirks he was erasing.
Junpei stared in contemplation of how his teacher was doing. There was no opponent that would defeat him but nothing was stronger than others. In time, he would start getting tired and starting to make mistakes. But nonetheless, he would fight them in time.
They started evacuating the facility and getting in contact with the other staff of the U.A. But before they could reach the doors, a black mist appeared blocked the exit.
"I won't let you." Kurogiri declared with the minimal coldness on his tone.
Shota saw that Kurogiri had blocked his students' path but couldn't get to them as the villains were attacking him from everywhere.
"Nice to meet you, we are the League of Villains. I may be presumptuous of us, but we have invited ourselves into the home of heroes, U.A. High School, in order to have All Might, the Symbol of Peace, take his last breath. I believe All Might should have been here. Has there been some kind of change?" Kurogiri looked around the students but nothing that he wanted to find was here. "Well, that is neither here nor there. This is the part I am to play."
Thirteen was about to attack him but before she could do, Katsuki and Eijiro charged to the warping villain.
"Did you consider that you'd get beaten by us before you did it?" Katsuki sneered in arrogance after making his explosion take on Kurogiri.
But even then, Kurogiri moved away from them unscratched.
"Oh dear, that's dangerous." He said making Junpei and Katsuki frown in realization. "That's right. Even if you are students, you are excellent golden eggs."
Thirteen knowing what would happen, took action as she flipped a cap off her bulgy finger. "No! Move away, you two!"
"My job is to scatter you all and torture you to death!" He said as his black mist started covering the students.
Some students managed to escape the mist, others held onto another wondering what was happening.
'Now... this is the second phase of the show!' Junpei thought with a smirk as the mist engulfed him and transported him elsewhere.
(USJ – Fire Zone)
Junpei landed alone in the Fire-Simulation zone. He expected to be with Mashirao but he had pushed him and another when they were inside the mist.
"Hey, look. Fresh meat." A fire-type villain sneered with excitement.
"Yeah, the leader said that we could torture them just to kill All Might." Another villain that had a black mask said. "Maybe we can take our time with him and make him beg to us."
Junpei looked disinterested at them since they were simple cannon fodders. They were good, sure, they had a reputation of a cockroach but Junpei had faced worse in his previous world and this one.
But first, he had to take action since he knew that in the Mountain Zone there will be some students that'll be in a difficult position. But, ah, he had discovered something when he tested his [Magic Eyes] secondary powers.
His eyes lit up demonstrating that he was prepared. The villains looked unfazed but were a caution that they were underestimating a student of the U.A. would be their downfall. But they selected the shortest string since they weren't against Mashirao this time... but this time it was against him.
"Guardians of the Zodiacs, with me!" Junpei bellowed, confusing the villains for a moment. But before they could wonder what he was talking about, twelve animal skulls took form around him.
Each of them represented an animal which Junpei took much time to think about it; only his family knew about them and even helped him to create the names of them.
Junpei always thought that he would simply create a simple animal skull but recognizing that all of them were different, his brother and sister had thought of naming them the 'Guardians of the Zodiacs' since most of them looked like the Western Zodiacs.
His little sister, Himari, always loved to play with them when nobody could.
Aries looked like the skull of a goat and the horns were as spirals when you looked at him.
Taurus looked like the typical bull and its horns were menacing with only looking.
Gemini, despite that it wasn't a recognizing animal; it was glad that it looked like a full-body owl or it could have been more terrifying.
Cancer was at it says a crab but it had two large pincers and it was good since with being only a crab skull, it wasn't all that menacing.
Leo had the skull of a lion, prideful with a menacing glare showing how puny the villains were.
Virgo was a sheep-type skull, innocent but not ignorant, and it was ready to pummel some enemies with its horns.
Libra was the least look-alike of an animal since it was more of a scale but despite being an object it had a face on top of it to prepare to judge them firmly.
Scorpio had the skull of a scorpion and also had a dangerous looking tail on the back.
Sagittarius had the shape of a horse and despite that, it is supposed to be a centaur but its eyes looked like Mei's for a reason, a crosshair.
Capricorn was the same as Aries, a goat-type skull, but the difference was that it looked calmer than Aries as it was eyeing the enemies with caution as also its horn were smaller than Aries.
Aquarius had the shape of a dolphin, its aquatic form looked completely as the entire skeleton body of a dolphin.
And lastly, Pisces had the shape of a koi fish. Same as Aquarius, Pisces had its complete body of a fish but skeletal. But at least it was a little bigger than the respective size of a koi fish; it had a size of a baseball bat.
But each one of them had the same trademark color engulfing them and taking the form of their respective body and/or mane (animal hair) and the dark purple pupils taking place as irises. The same could be as the zodiac sign on their foreheads. The ethereal lights shone like hair and Leo was the proudest among all showing its mane with radiance. Leo and Yuga would get along if that kind of proudness was the same.
"Wh-What are those?!" One of the villains demanded in shock.
Junpei glanced at them for a moment. "Each one of you knows what you have to do. Go!" He ordered as every zodiac nodded and separated but stayed in pairs.
"Ha... haha... you think that you are confident to take us without them?!" The villain that had a rough skin sneered in fake confidence. The other villains were laughing but not with the same confidence they showed at first.
Junpei looked at him with a blank expression before it contorted into a cocky smirk and answered. "Yes."
With that simple answer, every villain roared in anger that tried to gang of him. 'Tried' being the word since Junpei instantly locked their movements in stasis; he had trained his skill using objects but this was the first time he used on people.
"Wh... What's going on?!"
"Why I can't move?!"
Junpei had thought for a moment. He had been born into a family of heroes; he had trained in a former hero's dojo; his dream was to take part in the world of heroes and complacent with his greenette friend and blond friend, and it was too funny to him that ended up chuckling.
"Hehehehe..."
The villains stopped their panic as they glanced nervously at the young hero chuckling alone as if he had thought of a joke and laughing about it.
"Wh-What is wrong with this kid?! Why is he laughing?!" He demanded in panic.
The laugh took another minute when it subsided and Junpei smiled widely. "You think your people are strong enough because of your numbers? Don't make me laugh." He scoffed.
"Oh yeah?" A female villain snarled at him. "With All Might's death, villains will control Japan and we'll do anything we wish to do!"
"And how you'll do that in your situation?" He asked the fact as if it was nothing and the villains stopped cheering as they were still in stasis. "And before you say something like 'You'll get tired and we'll get our hands on your neck' or 'Kill you before you can even lift a finger', well mate, you see... I've been training my Quirks since I was a kid and nothing... nothing... can stop me to make your lives miserable and even that jail of Tartarus would get you to think otherwise."
Sweats were starting to trail down their foreheads as they were feeling that their game was being turned around.
"I mean, you people are simply cannon-fodders that the only objective is to tire All Might. You bunch of D-Rank villains ain't even worth against All Might, he would simply make you paste if he wished but he is too good for you people." He shook his head. "Sure but once All Might gets tired, then what? Sure, the ringleader looks capable to fight but I don't think he would do that neither the guy that warped you, people, here..."
The villains' spine started to shiver when the kid started to understand their plan.
"No... I think you guys have someone else to do that job. Someone powerful enough to fight against him, someone who can go toe-to-toe against him without a care..." He glared at them making them shiver. "Yes, that would be the secret weapon that the ringleader brought with him, am I right?
"A-A-And how would do that?!" The villain said, shivering. "You ain't going to get away unscratched! He is going to kill you all!"
Junpei's smile disappeared making them shiver more forcefully staring at him in fear. It was like watching at Death's straight in their bottomless eyes.
"He would, right?" His tone was nothing of fear but cold confidence. "But then again, I have trained and lived with worse people in my life. And I'll show them and my guardians how to... defeat villains easily."
Few villains were gritting in anger as others were about to pass out or piss themselves. Well, playtime was over for him.
"As for now, maybe I should give you a lesson about life." He grinned as he cracked his knuckles.
His body started as normal... even if his body was big for a normal teenager. But the villains could see something different as they were paying attention attentively at him. His body started becoming a little bigger than before, his two tiny horns started growing in size making it look more dangerous and his eyes were turning sharp and since his sclera was black, it made them terrifying.
He looked... like a Demon.
"Now..." His voice trailed off cold and menacing. "Shall we start?"
The only thing that the villains outside the zone could wonder and terrifying was the shrieking screams of the unknown voices.
(USJ – Shipwreck Zone)
A black vortex formed over the shipwrecking zone and a greenette was falling down from it. Izuku wondered where he was before he submerged onto the water with a splash.
Being inside the water, he had to hold his breath and get out of this situation. But the problem it suddenly appeared was that there was an aquatic villain wearing a scuba diving goggles with sharp teeth staring at him.
"Here you are! I don't have anything against you, but see ya!" He said before he opening his maw and chomp him completely.
Izuku, despite being underwater, tried to fight back but just before they could fight Tsuyu had interrupted dropkicking the villain away.
"Midoriya-chan! Ribbit!" She called before wrapping him with her tongue and swimming up with him. "See ya!" She said to the dropkicked villain she did before and using him as a footing to jump.
Tsuyu emerged from the water with Izuku and landed gently on the deck of the ship that was placed beforehand. Minoru and Akari were also there waiting for them but Minoru had a lump on his head, maybe he had tried to do something as noticeable that Akari was glaring at him angrily.
"Huh, did something happen?" Izuku asked curiously.
"Yeah, as soon as I appeared here, I helped this guy by gliding over onto here but this fucking pervert decided to grope me so I gave him something to remember and threw him onboard." She growled huffing angrily and still glaring Minoru.
"I said it was an accident!" He retorted trying to save face.
"One doesn't grope someone on air when the other is saving!" She barged her teeth at him. "You're lucky that we're in danger or else I'll give you something to mind, you little shit!"
"Anyways," Izuku continued turning to Tsuyu. "Thanks for the save, Tsu-chan."
She nodded in acceptance before frowning slightly over the situation. "This has turned into a bad situation, though." She stated.
"Yeah, what the villain said earlier..." Izuku paused recalling what Kurogiri said before teleporting away. "They knew U.A.'s schedule! Looking at the big picture, those guys must've set up the media intrusion the other day to get information. They were waiting to pounce, just as Todoroki-kun and Jukkun said."
"But... but..." Minoru stuttered in fear. "It's not like they can kill All Might! Once All Might comes, he'll pound those guys!" He stated half-confidently.
Izuku would like to add something but he knew exactly the reason All Might didn't arrive on time so he held his tongue despite his wishes.
"Mineta-chan." Tsuyu called. "Don't you think they are trying so hard because they have a way to kill him?" She asked.
"Yeah, such invasion wouldn't be half-assed if they were planning throughout with the intention that would work out." Akari nodded grimly.
"Guys that strong just told us they would torture us to death, you know. I wonder if we'll be able to hold out until All Might arrives... Even if All Might comes, I wonder if we will all make it out in one piece..." Tsuyu added.
Minoru's eyes widened in panic and started trembling and sweating cold sweat.
"M-M-Midoriya! What the heck is that?" He suddenly pointed at the water. Izuku, Tsuyu, and Akari looked down and saw various water-type villains emerging from the water.
"You bastard! I'll kill you!"
"GAAAAAH! There's a ton of them!" Minoru shrieked in terror.
"Hope those villains try it, I'm going to give them a piece of their minds." Akari hissed.
"I don't think that's a good idea, Tatsuma-chan." Tsuyu said placing a finger on her chin.
Izuku narrowed his eyes wondering why they came here. 'Their objective was killing All Might since he's the Symbol of Peace, I can see that. But how would they do? I noticed that most of them are the typical thugs that anybody can find and their Quirks would barely do something against him. So then, how'll they do it...?' He thought thoughtfully.
He saw that most of them looked like fishes or were wearing some aquatic gears but most of them were capable in the zone.
"If those guys have a way to defeat All Might..." Izuku started. "Then right now, we should be stopping whatever they're planning by fighting and winning!" He declared firmly.
Akari smirked at him. "That's what I like to hear!"
"What do you mean, fight? Are you two stupid?! These guys might kill All Might, right? You're contradicting yourself, Midoriya!" Minoru cried out. "The best plan would be to sit tight and wait for the U.A. heroes to come to save us, of course!"
"Shut your mouth! You ain't seeing what we're saying you dumbass!" Akari barged her teeth at him before pointing at the villain with her thumb. "Look and see what they're doing."
The three glanced at the villains unmoving on the water. They didn't even start climbing the ship to get them.
"You're right! They haven't moved at all!" Izuku stated before realizing what she meant. "Mineta-kun, those guys down there are clearly assuming we'll fight in the water, right?"
"Are you ignoring me?!"
"Does that mean they knew what was in these facilities before they gathered people?" Tsuyu asked in wonder.
"Yeah, you have a point." Akari mused. "Maybe that's why what happened yesterday at the gates of the U.A. when the press entered."
Izuku nodded. "Yeah, for people who gathered that much intel so meticulously, there's something strange." He turned to Tsuyu. "Tsu-chan, they sent you to the Shipwreck zone."
"What about it?" Minoru asked tilting his head in confusion.
"This means, in other words, the villains probably don't know what our Quirks are," Izuku stated making them realize what this meant.
"Ribbit! That's true..." Tsuyu said with widening eyes. "If they knew that I was a frog, then they probably would have thrown me into that Fire Zone over there." She pointed at the Fire Zone stage but Izuku noticed that the building was trembling for a reason.
He dismissed for a moment and continued. "They probably separated us because they didn't know our Quirks so they planned to overpower us with numbers. We have inferior numbers and less experience. Our only hope lies in the fact that our opponents don't know what our Quirks are!"
Akari glared at the villains. "And I hope they don't know it! Those pricks should take their beatings like a man!" She hissed.
"The enemy isn't trying to climb the boat. That supports my hypothesis!" Izuku declared. "But that probably means they aren't underestimating us, either."
"I'll tell you more about my Quirk." Tsuyu started. "I can jump high, stick to walls, and stick my tongue out up to about 20 meters. I can also spit out my stomach and wash it, and secrete toxic mucus that actually just stings a little."
"Hoh, that's some skill you got Tsu-chan!" Akari whistled, impressed.
"The last two are practically useless, so you can probably forget about them." She dismissed.
"No, it's not. They can always be useful in other situations!" Izuku said. "I have super strength but despite its advantages, I can also get numb if I overuse it so it is basically a double-edged sword."
"I see." Akari nodded in contemplation. "It's difficult but once you'll get used to it, you'll be unbeatable." She grinned at pointed at herself with her thumb. "Alright, since we've come to this. I can transform into a dragon but can also turn my body into blades. It's kind of difficult to maintain but nevertheless I can also sprout wings on my back and spawn fire on my mouth, despite that it gets me thirsty later."
"That's amazing, Tatsuma-san." Izuku agreed.
Then everyone looked at Minoru as he popped out his purple balls out of his head. "My Quirk lets these stick super tight. Depending on how I'm feeling, they can even stick for a whole day. They grow back after I pull them off, but if I pull off too many, I'll start bleeding. They don't stick to me. They just bounce off." He explained as he stuck one on the deck of the ship.
Everyone stared at him with a blank expression before Akari broke the silence.
"Wow, that's pretty lame." She stated.
"I KNOW THAT IT'S LAME! THAT'S WHY I SAID WE SHOULD JUST WAIT QUIETLY! MY QUIRK IS TOTALLY UNFIT FOR BATTLE!" He cried out miserably.
"Tatsuma-chan..." Tsuyu deadpanned.
"Sorry, sorry- wait, what is that?" Akari pointed at the air where two skeletal animals engulfed in purple ethereal colors were coming at them. Even the villains who were about to destroy the ship were confused at the scene.
"Huh, are those villains?" Tsuyu asked quite worried.
Just then, the two creatures that landed looked like a dolphin, and a big koi fish saluted at Izuku.
"Wait..." Izuku pondered for a moment before he blinked in realization. "I know! This is Jukkun's Quirk ability!" He declared, not so loud to let the other villains hear.
"Wait a minute, Takahashi-san made them?" Akari asked incredulously.
"Huh, he did summon one when we were kids but it was a different animal," Izuku explained. "But I didn't know much and he didn't explain to me once I asked."
"And why are they here?" Tsuyu asked. "Are they perhaps to help us if Takahashi-kun made them come?"
The two aquatic summonses nodded with a smile, or what they could perceive as a smile with the ethereal skin and gesture.
"And what they can do if they're here?" Minoru asked impatiently. "They don't seem pretty strong by the looks of it."
The mean comment wasn't encouraging as they started glaring at Minoru dangerously.
"Alright! Alright! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend you!" He apologized hastily.
They let him go. For now. But they were prepared for Izuku's instruction since they were looking at him.
"Eh? Jukkun put me in charge of it?" Izuku wondered aloud. They simply nodded at his question.
"You understand what they are saying?!" Minoru asked incredulously, quite shocked.
"No! I just assumed that since they haven't done anything and kept staring at me!" Izuku explained.
"Well, that's a way to put it." Akari mused.
CRASH! BOOM!
Just then the villains attacked the ship impatiently.
"I'm getting impatient. Let's end this quickly!"
As that, the ship started to sink with the young heroes mildly panicked, except one that was panicking madly.
"What power... This ship's broken." Tsuyu stated, mildly panicking.
"RAAAAAAAAAAH!" Minoru cried out in panic and started throwing his ball-hair on the water. None of them landed on the villains. He wailed out pointing at them while looking at Izuku.
"You can't give up!" He stated, panicked. "What are you doing? The enemy will figure out your Quirk-" He paused mid-sentence when he noticed that the villains were drifting the balls away from them.
"What the heck are these?" One of the villains said in disgust.
"Huh? What is wrong with them?" Akari wondered skeptically.
"The boat will sink in less than a minute. Once they get into the water, we're sure to win." The villain declared evilly.
"That's true..." Minoru sobbed out miserably.
"Mineta-kun, did you really enter U.A. to become a hero?" Tsuyu asked him.
"Shut up! It's weirder to not be scared right now! We were only in Junior High until a little while ago! Who would've thought that we could be almost killed right after starting school?! I wish I could've at least touched Yaoyorozu's boobs first!"
Something inside Izuku's mind snapped in anger. "Right..." He hissed.
"You are really a piece of shit, you know that," Akari growled angrily at the pervert. The two summonses agreeing with her with a nod.
Either way, Izuku had to focus on the situation since they were starting to sink. "When the enemy becomes certain of their victory, which will be our chance, All Might said so before on TV." He grunted staring at the villains.
"What...?"
"This is the only way to win!"
"Nice way to put it, Midoriya-san!" Akari grinned eagerly, cracking her knuckles.
Izuku then turned to the summonses. "Think you two can fly taking one of us?" He asked. The others nodded before Izuku glanced at the villains. "Good. Because I'm going in!" He promptly jumped out of the ship with a mighty roar.
"You serious, Midoriya?" Minoru shrieked in confusion for the reckless action.
Pisces grabbed Minoru's cape and flew away as he started screaming in fear. Tsuyu jumped over Aquarius and flew next to Minoru. Akari sprouted her dragon wings and followed behind.
Izuku, being now over the top of the water, prepared his flicking attack. "Delaware Smash!" He created a powerful wind pressure shockwave which made a hole in the water. He then turned to the flying companions. "Tsu-chan! Mineta-kun! Tatsuma-chan!"
"Right!" Tsuyu nodded before sticking her tongue to Izuku and sending him to Akari which she held him on air.
"Damn it! What the heck, Midoriya?! Why are you acting so cool?" Minoru cursed before taking two balls on his head on both hands. "Even I... Even I can... DO IT!" And then he started throwing countless of balls on the water.
The hole that Izuku made started to close up and Minoru's ball-hair started sticking them together and no possible escape.
"If a strong force is applied to the surface of the water, it'll spread... and then converge back in the middle!"
"Rounded everyone up at once. I guess it's like we've cleared the first hurdle. You're both amazing!" Tsuyu complimented.
"Too bad that I didn't get to do anything..." Akari muttered. "I would have loved to do something against those villains."
"You'll get your chance, Tatsuma-chan." She assured her.
"Yeah, for now, get ready since we are about to be in danger," Izuku warned, looking ahead.
(USJ – Entrance)
After the black mist had taken most of the student to elsewhere, the only students remaining were: Tenya Iida, Ochako Uraraka, Mezo Shoji, Mashirao Ojiro, Yuga Aoyama, Mina Ashido, Rikido Sato, Hanta Sero, and Thirteen. And they were against Kurogiri that was still blocking their path to the exit.
"Shoji-kun, is everyone here? Can you check?" Tenya asked, preoccupied.
"Everyone's scattered, but they're all in this building." He answered which everyone sighed in relief.
"Damn it, physical attacks can't hit him, and he can warp things... His Quirk's the worst!" Tenya cursed at their disadvantage.
"Class Secretary!" Thirteen called.
"Yes, ma'am?"
"I entrust this duty to you." She declared, confusing Tenya. "Run to the school and tell them about what is happening here. The alarms are not sounding, and our phones don't have a signal. The alarm system is based on infrared rays. Even though Eraser Head is erasing people's Quirks left and right, they are still not working, which means they must have someone with an interference Quirk who hid right when they arrived. It would be faster for you to run than for us to find that person."
He gasped in shock. "B-But Thirteen-sensei, I understand that both Class Rep and Deputy ain't here and the role takes to the next which is me, the Secretary, but that isn't something a hero-in-training should-"
"Go, Secretary!" Hanta intervened. "If you can get outside, there are alarms. That's why these guys are only doing this inside, right?"
"As long as you go outside, they won't follow you!" Rikido stated, getting ready for a fight next to Hanta. "Blow away this fog with your legs!"
Mashirao stood behind them with his fists up and tail getting ready to smash somebody, and Yuga had his hands behind his head posing but not faltering with his determination on his eyes. Mina and Ochako, despite they were scared, put a strong front to get ready with Mezo standing behind them.
"Use your Quirk in order to save others!" Thirteen commanded.
Ochako stood beside Tenya with a reassuring gaze. "You can do it, Iida-kun! We are ready to support you!"
"Even if you have no other choice, are there really idiots who talk about their plans in front of the enemy?!" Kurogiri declared before he let loose his mists toward them.
"We did it because it doesn't matter if we're found out! [Black Hole]!" Thirteen used her Quirk to suck him into his space suit's finger gloves.
The black mist villain started to get sucked in by Thirteen's Quirk and it was working.
"[Black Hole], which sucks up everything and turns it all to dust." Thirteen said, still using her ability.
"I see. That is an astounding Quirk. However, Thirteen, you are a hero who works to rescue people from disasters. As expected, your battle experience is less than half of that of a normal hero." Kurogiri commented before he opened up a warp just behind Thirteen.
The villain was using Thirteen's Quirk against her, turning a part of her suit into dust.
"You turned yourself into dust." Kurogiri mocked.
"H-He got me..." Thirteen croaked as she fell back.
"Sensei!" Mina screamed running next to her.
Tenya's eyes widened at the defeated form of Thirteen. How could villains defeat their teacher when they weren't prepared?
One of Mezo's ears heard something coming at them. "Incoming!" He turned to engage the ones who were coming at them startling everyone, even Kurogiri was pretty curious since he didn't recall having someone that fast.
Just then, two creatures appeared over them. One looked like a bull and the other looked like a horse. Despite that their heads were simple skulls, the ethereal light around them looked menacing enough to make the students feel fear. Kurogiri was mildly interested in them but he didn't know that any of the villains they gathered had this kind of power.
Before anyone could do something against them, the two skulls glared at Kurogiri with a mad huff, their noses with steams.
"I think they are on our side!" Mina realized cheerfully.
Tenya nodded accepting the help and prepared himself to run.
"I do not know what those are, but what I know is that I have to eliminate All Might with his students!" Kurogiri proclaimed charging at them.
Just then, Sagittarius opened its mouth and started shooting. Kurogiri stopped on its track and started avoiding them.
"What?" He said incredulously. 'How can that thing shoot when my mist is obscuring everything? It's like if that thing knew my weakness!'
Sagittarius neighed, displeased, and continued shooting to take down Kurogiri.
Understanding what Sagittarius was doing, the range team (Hanta and Yuga) started doing the same with their respective ranged attacks.
Kurogiri was having a hard time but he managed to dodge every projectile the students were throwing, but the hard part was the horse skull shooting at him. No matter how that thing was doing, its projectile was clear-missing his body within an inch of the target.
"Iida, run! Hurry!" Mina called out while helping Thirteen to stay conscious.
Tenya shut his eyes close recalling his teacher's words. "Use your Quirk in order to save others!"
Gritting in frustration, his calves started to roar as he prepared to run. "Damn it...!"
"One of the children who was not scattered..." Kurogiri mused warping between him and the exit, also using the speedster to stop the shooting. "We are only waiting for All Might. If the other teachers are called here, it will be hard for us."
The mist started to expand blocking Tenya completely.
'Is it the end? Everyone... was entrusted... to me! The whole class... I will...' He tried to hold tears for his failure.
Just then, Taurus rammed the mist and the hidden body away from him making Tenya resume his running.
"What is this?!" Kurogiri was startled just as Mezo grabbed him next to Taurus.
"Go! Hurry!" He shouted.
Tenya continued running but didn't know what to do since the door was sealed shut. As he was trying to think of a way, he heard that Taurus was going something on its mouth as if it was holding something inside.
As on cue, Taurus shot a blast wave toward the door making a hole big enough for Tenya to pass through.
Kurogiri panicked as he escaped from Mezo's grasp and went to him. "You impertinent, I will not allow you to go outside!" He declared.
Tenya was just about to reach when Kurogiri reached first to the hole. "You impudent, Four-Eyes. Begone!" He started engulfing him with his black mist.
But luck was on his side when Ochako touched the metal plate that was hidden inside the mist.
"I don't know the theory behind it, but if he's wearing something like this, then it must mean he has a physical body." Ochako held the villain's main body which was a metal plate and threw up. "Go, Iida-kun!"
"My body! Oh no!" Kurogiri cried out in distress as he couldn't form his mist.
"I won't let you!" Hanta declared shooting his tape and wrap the metal plate and holding him down. Rikido, Mashirao, Taurus, and Sagittarius held the tape with their might, stopping Kurogiri to follow Tenya.
At last, Tenya managed to pass through the hole away from the USJ. "ENGINE BOOST!" His speed accelerated making it possible to escape and get the other staff of U.A. "EVERYONE! BE SAFE UNTIL I GET HELP!"
Now... it was a race against time for the young heroes.
