I can't Live Without You
Apologies for no author notes at the end of the last chapter. I hope you guys will enjoy this next past of the story! I'm this one, you will see what happened after RDJ and Lila killed Cameron. As well as seeing how Devil Darkness reacts to Devine taking over a new host. Blu and Jewel will also have some time alone to talk to Jacqueline about things that has happened in the last few days. I hope you guys enjoy this next chapter! Here we go!
Several minutes after the fight in the bar between RDJ and Cameron…it was indeed the blue throated macaw thug who perished in the end. As his live body was dragged into a meat grinder by some chains that Lila had tied around his neck. Before the head of the assassins threw the chains into the grinder to drag him in.
RDJ pulled his hood down and hobbled over to the exit of the bar, and took a huge deep breath in to clear his mind. But…just as he was about to step outside, he felt a soft wing on his shoulder. "Hey ummmm…do you have a minute?"
The blue and gold macaw male spun back around to face who was of course Lila herself. And as soon as he did so, he smiled at her warmly. "Sure. What's on your mind?"
"Listen…I ummmm…I wanted to just say…" The blue female kept looking at her talons unsurely whilst she was talking. Feeling quite nervous to talk to her husband after what had just happened. But before she could even get a sentence out…RDJ cut her off. Not in a rude way though of course. But more of a polite way to stop her from saying something that makes her feel uncomfortable.
"No…stop." He placed a wing on her shoulder in a friendly manner. Which caused her to close her beak while gazing deeply into his eyes sadly. "Lila…I finally understand that I have been a terrible husband to you…"
"You weren't a…"
"Please Lila…who are we kidding here?" RDJ cut her off again as he pulled his hood back up over his head. So half of his face was hidden from her. "Im an assassin…the head of the assassins! I remember my responsibilities were to protect the ones I love most! But every time you and I are together, I always lie to you and put you in danger. I would hate if anything ever happened to you! I would never forgive myself." RDJ then turned away from her and pushed both doors open. "That's why I think it's best if we…say goodbye…"
"Goodbye? But…why?" Lila sadly mumbled as she wiped away her tears.
"Im sorry Lila…but I can't put you or anyone else I love in danger, including our kids…" RDJ replied whilst he rubbed his sore cheeks. "Goodbye…My love…"
The head of the assassins took one last look at the love of his life. Then he stepped outside into the pouring rain…vanishing from her sight in an instant.

(Lila watched the one individual in her life that she loved more than anything in the world, leave her sight. But just as he departed, she was trying to decided whether to go after him or not.)

(Lila remembered the very first day that she met RDJ. Where Nigel was beating her and throwing her around. And he came in with his bow and arrow and saved her life.)

(She remembers when they had their first kiss after they killed Zenon. How she remembers that her best friend interrupted her and then RDJ kissed her passionately for the very first time.)

(We skip towards RDJ. Who was strolling along the streets with his head hung low. Was he really making the right decision walking away from the girl who gave him a reason for life? The girl that made him believe that love is real.)

(RDJ found the location of the fourth key and managed to make his way into a coffin and on a cemetery. Which opened up a passageway for him to walk down. But he was too distracted to go the safe way down. So he decided to fly to speed up time.)

(RDJ managed to solve the puzzle quite quickly, because Gabriel made a note of the targets that he had to fire arrows at in chronological order to unlock the gates that revealed the fourth key. Which he managed to find quite quickly.)

(When he picked up the fourth key, the weird thing was he didn't have any visions of the past or his father? Which did very much confuse him to say the least. But, he didn't dwell on such thoughts, and decided just to walk out of the exit to get straight back onto the streets. With the fourth key in his possession.)

(RDJ finally made it back into the main city, but when he put the key away. He remembered something…a memory of him and his wife's. It was the memory of him telling her that he was in love with her. And he remembers how he felt his heart hearing so fast that he almost felt like he was going to explode.)

(On one side you can see Lila's face looking up at the bright moon, which made her bright purple eyes sparkle in the moonlight. With RDJ's face on the right looking down at his talons, as tears poured from his eyes. Both of them said "I think…I think…)

(As there was a brief pause at the end of that line in the song, both Lila's and RDJ's here became level and both of them spoke at the same time…"I can't live without you!")

(RDJ was sprinting down the streets as the rain began to pick up again. He had to hurdle over a few market stools and push past local birds to head back towards where the bar was.)

(Lila flew out into the rain, despite it being so heavy. And she had descended to the street floor to avoid her crashing. She then began to search around frantically for the man she loves. With visibility being quite difficult.)

(RDJ saw Sylvia and Maria flying past him and they waved towards him. To which he politely waved back and shot down the alley which lead towards the salsa bar. As he gad the biggest smile on his face.)

(When the last line of the song was approaching, RDJ managed to get back to the open street that was opposite of the salsa bar. And once he got there…his heart jumped for joy. Lila of course also noticed the man she was looking for just standing several feet in front of her. She had the biggest and widest grin on her face.)

RDJ stood there in the street with the biggest grin, as he took some deep breaths in and then out.
Lila stared dreamily into his crystal blue eyes, feeling her heartbeat rapidly increase.
"Listen…I…" Both of them began to speak at the same time.
"I just wanna…"
"Im sorry that…haha…"
"You go first…" RDJ spoke first as he edged closer towards her.
"Okay…" Lila beamed as she began to walk towards him. "RDJ…I thought…that maybe ending things between us, would be the right thing for us. Because I thought that maybe I would be able to live life without having to worry about my husband's death. Or me having to raise two teenagers by myself."
"But I told you that I was going to be okay? I promised you that nothing would ever happen to me." RDJ told her clearly, as now they were only several metres apart.
"I realise that now! And I also realise that…being your wife…I already knew what I was signing up for when we first got married! I'm just…I'm just always worried about wether you'd come home or not! And that always scares me."
"It scares me too Lila! But you know that I will always come back to you! Because I love you more than life itself."
The rain at this point began to slow down, but the scene looked so peaceful and romantic. That it looked like a scene from a fairytale story.
"I know honey…and…I finally realised that…I…I can't live without you RDJ! I don't want to lose you!" Lila teared up as they were only a few inches from each other.
RDJ lifted one of his wings up and gracefully brushed a wing up against her cheek, during away her tears as she nuzzled her face into his wing. "I can't live without you either my love…I'd rather die than live without you or the kids." He spoke in a romantic tone, gazing deeply into her beautiful purple eyes. Which sparkled in the rain. "Wow…your eyes really are astonishing…"
"Oh…come here already!" Lila playfully giggled as she pulled his hood down over his head and both of them passionately kissed in the rain.
Both of them wrapped their wings around each other as they got more and more into the kiss. Swirling their tongues around each other'a beaks.
He picked her up and swirled her around in his wings as she giggled in joy and love. As the duo felt so much in love. This was truly a magnificent sight.
A few metres away, Reece and Gabriel watched this scene from a distance. And they felt so much better seeing the two of them rekindle their marriage like this.
RDJ placed Lila back down on the ground and they separated from the kids. "Wow…" Both of them sighed at the same time. Feeling so relaxed after that beautiful kiss.
"You are so beautiful…" RDJ whispered to the blue female lovingly, as he continued to hold her close to him.
"And you are so handsome…" Lila sweetly beamed with a dreamy tone, narrowing her eyes at him playfully. "Ahhhh…this is what I want right now. All I want is you."
"And all I want is you!"
"But, what about the final two keys?"
"That's the beauty of it!" RDJ spoke with a calm tone as he pulled a key from his arrow bag. "This was the very last one that was locked away in a cave! The last one…is in the possession of The Destroyer!"
"What?! But…how did you get that so quickly?" Lila asked in amazement, but she was still not quite sure how he was going to get the final key. "RDJ…how are you going to get the last one?"
"Let's not worry about that right now…" He put the key away and wrapped both of his wings around her lower back. "All I want to focus on right now is you…your eyes…your face…your…body…"
"Oh RDJ…if you are so close to the last key, you need to find it…you need to…"
"Shhhh…" He lifted his wingtip up and shushed her. Before pressing his head up against hers. "This is where I want to be right now…With you."
The couple stood in silence for that one magical moment, feeling the rain trickle down their faces and necks as they enjoyed being so close to each other.
"So…what do we do now?" Lila asked her husband unsurely when separating from the hug.

A few minutes later, RDJ and Lila were making out passionately as they made their way over to a room.
The head of the assassins kicked the door open without even stopping to take a breath from exploring his wife's beak.
He turned around and lifted her up onto a desk before spreading her talons wide. Causing her to moan in pleasure. Then she decided to undo the straps on his leather armour, before throwing it on the floor.
He began to thrust his cloaca into her cloaca, making both of them pant and moan as they felt their hot sweaty bodies rubbing up against each other.
Soon, the desk began to make way and it broke upon impact. Causing both of them to laugh a little bit.
"I didn't think I put on that much weight?" Lila giggled playfully as he picked her up by her ass.
"Maybe it's your hot sexy ass that is too powerful for the desk?" RDJ chuckled mischievously and noticed that there was a bed behind him. He then fell back onto the bed and pulled her down with him.
He then leaned up again and pulled off his assassins cloak and threw it aside. As well as removing his hidden blades and holsters…removing every item of clothing that he wore.
"Mmmmm…I love this look better! Now I can see what I'm getting…" Lila giggled playfully as she referred to his six pack.
"And I get to see my chest pressed up against your perfect breasts…" RDJ mumbled passionately as he moved one of them around with his wing.
"Shhhhh…no more talking…a lot more fucking…" Lila panted as she climbed on top of him and pressed his cloaca up against his. "Ahhhhhh! Yes! Fuck yes!"
"Yes! Fuck me baby! You know how I like it!" RDJ panted heavily bad he gripped his wings on her breasts.
She arched her back and closed her eyed whilst biting the bottom of her beak. Panting more and more the harder and faster that she went.
He leaned up to tighten his talons around her waist, but she pushed him back down on the bed and pushed herself harder on her. "I'm riding you! I'm in control here!"
"Ooooh…I like how dirty you've become!"
"Who's the queen of Rio?!"
"You…Ahhhh…Are!"
"Who is your Queen?!" She panted whilst humping him harder and faster. "WHO?!"
"YOU ARE BABY!" RDJ shouted as he felt so much pressure building up inside of him. "Ahhhhh! I can…IM GONNA CUM!"
"HOLD…AHHHHH…ON! I'M…AHHHH…GETTING…AHHHHH…SO CLOSE!"

Both of them finally screamed simultaneously as they climaxes at the same time. And once they were done, Lila rolled off of her husband and laid down next to him. As they laid in a puddle of their combined juices. Panting heavily after their extremely passionate long awaited lovemaking.
"Ahhhhh…Wow…now that…was…worth the wait…" RDJ beamed as he held onto her wing lovingly, while she laid her head on his muscular chest.
"Yeah…I think…that was…amazing!" Lila sighed in happiness, cuddling up closer to her husband lovingly. "Oooh honey…I'm so glad to have my husband back."
"And I'm glad to have my wife back." He beamed with a gleam in his eye, as he looked at her with so much affection.
Once again silence filled the room between the two…but not an awkward silence like it was many moments ago. But it was a peaceful silence that showed joy and wonder.
"Hey…so, when are we going to find the last key?" Lila beamed as she leaned up to look at her husband.
"We? No…I'm not losing you my love! I am doing this alone." RDJ emphasised as he got up from the bed and began to put his cloak and armour back on.
"What?" She was surprised about how he reacted to her question.
"I'm sorry my love. But I am the one who started this, so I'm going to finish it. When I get the final key, I'll put The Destroyer where he belongs. In the fucking ground!"
Lila knew that if he was going to kill him…he would be killing someone who was too close to him.
"Do you…have to kill him?" The blue female asked, getting up from the bed and passing the hidden blades to him.
"Sorry?" He pondered with a curious eyebrow raised.
"Well I'm just saying…maybe just, take the key…and then we return the staff and cubes? That way, he can't get his wings on them because we can then lock the doors to the burial chamber with the keys. Then we can toss them into the ocean." Lila replied seriously, passing his bow and arrows to him.
"Honey…he killed so many important birds in our lives! He deserves to die!"
"But…have you considered the possibility that maybe you have to let someone live? I mean…once we finally receive the key. Then there's nothing he can do, right?" Lila pondered whilst he finally finished getting dressed. "Please? Just…think about it?"
RDJ sighed heavily in defeat and pulled the hood back over his head. Before kissing her lovingly on the beak. "Alright…for you…I'll consider sparing his life."
"Good! Now…I believe we should group up with the others first before deciding anything. We are one step closer to home!"
"I know…let's go! But ummm…we may want to…shower first…"
Both of them looked down at their feathers and saw how stained they were, then they blushed deeply in embarrassment before walking out wing on wing. As they made their way to the nearest water fountain in the city to wash the…juices off their feathers.
But one thing was for certain…their marriage was now much stronger than ever before!
Now, Let's Head On Over To Gabriel and Jameson…
"I'm telling you Jameson, that was the most romantic thing I have ever seen in my entire life! I swear I was almost on the brink of tears!" The hybrid macaw teen spoke to the black owl male. Who seemed very pleased to hear that one of his closest friends is finally making things right with his wife.
"Damn! They are finally sprucing up the marriage again? That's awesome! I can't wait to go on double dates again with RDJ and Lila!" Jameson beamed whilst cleaning some blood off of his bat with a rag. "Say, where did you get your P90 from? That is so awesome!"
"Oh, this?" She spoke with a smile as she lifted it up. "We took this from an armoury in China a couple of years ago. We found out a thug by the name of Ling, who took a shipment of weapons to Beijing from Italy. They were supplying him with protection from The Destroyer's goons after he found out that all of his officers were wiped out across the world."
"Wow! So, you did some work for the assassins then?"
"Me? Oh no! Me and my father were after The Destroyer for years! After my late mother passed away, she left us intel on the thugs and told us that if we didn't wipe them out, the whole world would be in danger!"
"But weren't you at least a tiny bit curious about who the assassins were at the time?" Jameson pondered and put his bat by his side.
"I found out about RDJ when he killed an entire army by himself in Argentina! Haaaa…he is so awesome!" Gabriel sighed whilst leaning up against the wall.
(Hey! Why didn't you tell me that you took over a new host Devine!)
Devil Darkness screamed from within Jameson, causing Gabriel to be a little jumped by the new voice. "What the fuck?!"
(Do you mind? I'm trying to sleep here!)
Devine answered back from within the female macaw. Who was now increasingly freaked out.
"Jameson?! What the fuck is happening right now?! Who are they?!"
"Ughhh…welcome to my world." Jameson rolled his eyes, leaning back a little.
(And another thing! Why didn't you tell me where you were going huh?! Are you ashamed of me?!)
(Of course I'm not ashamed of you? Why would you think such things?)
(You flew off and didn't tell us where you were going?! I was so freaking worried about you!)
"Do they always argue like this?" Gabe asked the black owl, who nodded his head slowly.
"Just give it a couple of days. You'll get used to it." The black owl responded before closing his eyes.
(I only flew off because I wanted to have some alone time! It's not my fault that you became so clingy after all these years)
(Me?! Clingy?! Ha! Good one! You know what? I'm not talking to you!)

Suddenly, Devil Darkness and Devine both fell completely silent. Leaving the two birds alone to continue with their conversation. But Gabriel was now twice as confused as before.
"Okay…you're gonna need to tell me a little bit about this…thing, that we both have? Because…I am so confused right now!"
"Oh Gabriel…this is gonna be a loooong story!" Jameson spoke as he got himself comfortable. While he explained to his new friend all about their inner friends.
Finally We Head To Blu And Jewel, Who Are With Jacqueline And Martin…
The blue macaw couple just found out from Gabriel and Reece that their leader and mentor finally managed to patch things up with his wife. And they were so overjoyed, that they couldn't wait to see him with her again.
"This is so exciting! I can't believe they are back together again! I mean, it's amazing isn't it honey?" Jewel asked her husband Blu, who was sitting g besides her on a beanbag.
"Yes, it is absolutely incredible! But we all knew that it would happen eventually. I mean, come on? It's RDJ and Lila guys?" He pointed out the facts, drinking some water from his container.
"I think that it was so sweet how they still had each other's backs, despite what they just went through. I mean, they are perfect together! Both of them!" Jacqueline pointed out, as she turned her head to gaze at her new boyfriend Andy. Who was sitting with Tomada and Keith.
"And…I'm sorry…you know…about Beto honey?" Martin sadly brought up her ex husband softly, patting her back in a comforting manner.
"Yeah…I know. But, he's in a better place now! He's chasing the clouds and sunshine now!"
"That's what I admire about you most Jacqueline. You always see the positive side in life! I wish my son was more like you!" Blu beamed with a cheeky grin, but that earned him a slap from his wife. "Ow! What the fuck was that for?!"
"Eduardo has been going through some tough times at home. His girlfriend dumped him last week." Jewel sadly spoke as she patted her husband on the shoulder.
"Oh gosh that's awful! I hope he isn't too heartbroken?"
"No no he's fine! I think he's just going to try and learn from his mistakes. Anyway, how are things going between you and Andy? I hear you guys are really enjoying each other's company?"
"Oh Jewel, it's lovely. After what happened to Beto, I didn't think that I would ever love again! But after he was there for me when they died, things got better and better over time." The blue female giggled as she gave her new lover a cheeky wave. Who in return blew her a kiss. "Besides, it will be nice to settle down again."
"Well, that's good for you! I do have another question though darling?" Martin chimed in femininely, drinking a glass of Prosecco. "Who is this…Devine?"
"Oh, that's Devil Darkness's ex girlfriend. He's her bitch."
(Fuck off Jacqueline!)
Devil Darkness may be on the other side of the room, but he still heard her talking.
"I'm kidding DD! Relax!" She smiled at the black owl, who continued his conversation with Gabriel. "Anyway, so how have things been in Rio since our absence?"
"Well, Leandro and Tina are now in a relationship! In fact, they have been in their parents old hollow a lot." Blu spoke in a calm tone. "Im not sure what they're up to though? They always seem to disappear when training starts."
For a moment there, Jewel, Jacqueline and Martin have him a blunt expression. Considering that they knew the obvious reason why they were on their own. It only took Blu a few seconds to figure it out.
"Ooooh…huh…let's not tell…"
"Yeah, let's not even mention it to RDJ and Lila! Let's just…have them enjoy their marriage again." Jewel beamed in a cheery tone.
"Alright then! I say we crack open the beers and have a good night eh?" Tomada spoke in a loud tone as he took a few beers from the fridge in the room.
"Hey! Don't drink all my…ughhh what's the use? I can just steam some more in the morning!" Reece chuckled in amusement when the falcon threw a can to him. "Shouldn't we wait for the others?"
"Fuck that! I wanna get drunk!" Allie beamed as she opened up her can of beer and chugged the entire thing down really easily. Before throwing the empty cab over her shoulder and she belched really loud. "BRRRRRRRB!"
"Ooooh! Nice one sweetie!" Aiden was impressed by how loud she managed to make that burp. Whereas Tomada just scoffed and pointed his wingtip at her.
"You think that's something special? This is something special!" Tomada chugged down his drink rather quickly too. Then he went to belch…but as he let out a small burp…something else happened at the same time. "Brrrn…RFFFFT!"
"Ewwww Tomada! Did you just shit yourself?" Alex asked in disguise, noticing a…certain thing drop from his butt. "I did tell you not to eat those rotten berries."
"How was I supposed to know that?! Fuck! This is so humiliating!" Tomada covered his backside in embarrassment, and waddled over to the faucet.
"Don't worry buddy! Shit happens!"
"Hahaha very funny Alex! Did you tell them about the time you threw up in that bar in Minnesota?"
"Oh yeah, why don't you tell that story for the one millionth time! That never gets old!" The snowy owl sarcastically replied, rolling his eyes at him.
Blu laughed a little at how they were all still acting with each other. And he remembers how much fun they all have together. "Hmmmm…we do have a very strange family. Don't we honey?"
"We sure do sweetie…We sure do…" Jewel replied and kissed him and n the cheek. As all of them but Tomada began to joke about what they had just seen, while the falcon cleans himself.
Now I can imagine that you are shocked by how quickly I managed to get this chapter done? Well…I had a lot of spare time today so I wanted to make up for lost time by writing the next couple of chapters! RDJ and Lila are finally back together! Wahoooo! Devine and Devil Darkness had a minor disagreement, and Blu and Jewel caught up with their close friends! But the question is now…what will happen next you ask?
