The Destroyer Unmasked – Part 1
You can kind of imagine that in this chapter things will always tense up even after a very happy day right? Well, In this next chapter, we will be taking a look at The Destroyer, as he is given information on his enemy. Aiden and Allie help a young child in danger, and Reece gets the shock of his life when someone he recognises is in the city! Want to know what happens? Let's get right to it!
RDJ Writing Another Letter To His Sister…He Speaks In The Background…
"Iris…the most incredible thing has ever happened to me since I've been here! I finally have my loving wife back, and I am finally putting her first! I understand that a job is a job, but my wife and children will always come first in my life. End Of Letter…
New Years Eve had arrived here in the city of Mexico, and the streets were absolutely packed full of people and tourists who explored the streets. Buzzing with life and joy.
Fireworks were already being prepped for the display when the countdown begins. Some of them were set off early to provide a little excitement and entertainment. And that was really beautiful!
But we will turn our attention back to the beloved pink macaw female Allie. Who at this moment in time was practicing her parkour skills on top of the pyramid of the moon.
She's been practicing so much that she was getting really good at it. Aiden was definitely impressed with how well his beloved was getting along.
"Wow babe! You are learning so fast! I guess beginners luck." Aiden chuckled with a funny expression.
"Oooor, maybe it's because girls are so flexible that we are better than you?" She decided to play along with his little game.
"Haha very funny! Let's not forget that I taught you how to…"
"AHHHHHHHH! MOOOOM!"
"What the fuck?!" Both Allie and Aiden cursed at the sand time, after hearing a childlike scream in the distance.
The young couple didn't even have to think another second. As they leapt off of the platform and made a very quick descent to the bottom of the pyramid.
The thing is about this voice…was that they sounded very scared of something that was happening to someone else…but it could only be assumed that it was their mother.
"MOOOOOOOM!"
"LOUIE!"
This time you heard a female screaming at the top of their lungs, and if this wasn't enough to cause distress for the couple, then you don't know what could.
Aiden and Allie immediately began to think about their next strategic plan. They knew exactly what they needed to do. But how to do it was the question.
"Allie! We have to find the kid!" The scarlet macaw lunged into action and scanned the streets for any sign of a young child named Louie.
"What about the mother?!" She wondered with a fearful expression on her face.
"Don't worry! We can get her afterwards. We have to make sure that the child is okay!"
As for his girlfriend, she scanned some nearby side streets and alleyways. Just in case they were chased into a dead end by some of the Remainders.
Although she normally is pretty sharp when it comes to finding things, she was having a difficult time finding what she was looking for. Particularly when she doesn't even know which species of bird Louie was.
"Oh come on? Surely they couldn't have gotten that…"
"Sniff…Sniff Sniff Sniff…"
A small sobbing noise was heard from what appeared to be a half broken ice box outside of some abandoned ice cream parlour. And this was an indication to her that she found where the saddened child was. "HONEY! OVER HERE!"
"YOU FOUND HIM?!" Aiden called out to his beloved from the sky, and immediately made his way over to her. Before landing besides her in relief. "Wow, you are good at finding things."
"Well, let's see what we are dealing with here." Allie didn't want to boast about finding him, because she was more concerned about the child's well-being more than anything.
So the duo pulled open the door of the rotten ice box, and over they pulled the doors off. They saw a young green winged macaw male, curled up in the corner with their wings covering their face.
Both Allie and Aiden looked at each other briefly in concern, before turning their attention back towards the young male.
"Hello there little guy? Why don't you come out here?" Allie spoke in a sweet and gentle tone, motioning with her wing for him to follow.
"No! Go away! I don't know you!" Louie cried in fear and pulled the door shut to hide himself away.
Allie scratched the back of her head unsurely, and turned to face her boyfriend once again. "Why aren't you trying to do anything?"
"You know that I'm not good with kids?! How am I supposed to talk to him?" Aiden was unsure about talking to kids. Considering that he is already learning to let his emotions flow.
"Ughhh…is this how you are going to act when we have kids?!" She asked him in annoyance and placed both her wings on her hips.
"W-W-What?!" The scarlet macaw male stuttered and widened his eyes.
"Yes? Why are you so freaked out by that? Don't you want kids someday?" Allie felt a little insulted by the way he reacted. She put her wings on her hips and narrowed her eyes at him. All he could do was gulp nervously.
"Well…I…I never really thought about it?" The scarlet macaw scratched his wrist nervously, trying not to overthink this.
She did realise that she was kind of putting him on the spot a little, so she calmed her expression and smiled at him. "Sorry sweetie…I don't want to put any pressure on you. We can take our time okay? We don't need to make any plans or decisions right away?"
"Phew…Thank you honey. I'm not saying that I wouldn't want children. I'm just saying that I may not be ready yet for such a big responsibility."
"I know…I know okay? Now…let's try and help out this little guy okay?" Allie kissed her beloved on the cheek lovingly, and then he knocked on the door of the ice box.
"Hey…ummm…your name is, Louie…right?" Aiden spoke in a calm and soft tone. Trying his best not to spook the young child.
Soon, the door narrowly opened and a pair of green eyes were poking out of the gap between the box and the door. "Y-Y-Yes? Are you a friend of my mom's?" He asked in a fearful tone, as he only focused on Aiden.
"Yes! We are both friends of your mother! My name is Aiden. And this here is my girlfriend Allie. I'm surprised your mother never mentioned us?"
Surprisingly, he was doing really well with the young child. And he was actually very patient and calm with him. Which did bring a smile to his girlfriend's beak.
"She…She doesn't have time for friends…After our daddy was murdered…" He sadly sobbed when pushing the door open more so you could see his little face. He looked really drained and frightened. Something that the duo were trying to help him with.
"Oh really? Was your father a thug?"
"No…he was an assassin. His name was Bruno…and he was murdered two days ago by a bird in a dark helmet…".
Auden once again turned to face his beloved and whispered in her ear. "The Destroyer killed his dad. Now he's most likely after his mother too! We have to help her!"
"But how? We don't know where she could be?" Allie replied u surely as she placed a wing on her hip. "Hmmmm…where would they taken her?"
"Oooh! Do you guys know an assassin named RDJ?! I've heard stories about him! He can help us!" Louie jumped for joy as he hopped out of the ice box and landed in front of them.
"We do know who he is, but unfortunately he's already hunting a target in the city. But I'm sure we can track her down?" Allie beamed with a positive attitude. "Is there anywhere in the city where you think they'd take her?"
"Hmmmm…" He placed a wingtip on his chin to think. "There is the old cemetery by the park?"
"Alright! Allie, take Louie back to the pyramid where he will be safe. Then we will take a few birds and head to the cemetery to find his mother!" Aiden ordered his girlfriend, who obeyed and nodded her head. But just before he left, Louie tugged on his wing and he lowered his head to look at him.
"Please Aiden…bring my mom home safe?" He pleaded with a really hopeful expression, causing the scarlet macaw male to nod his head towards him.
"Don't worry Louie…I'll bring her home! That's a promise…"
Now Let's Head To The Destroyer…
In the very place where Louie had predicted…The Destroyer had kidnapped many of the locals of Mexico and tied them up to the gravestones.
He sinisterly walked in between them with a sharp knife in his right wing. Pacing up and down while rubbing the other wing against his helmet.
"Ahhhh…you know? I am really disappointed in all of you!" The evil male sighed heavily, kicking the leaves on the ground as he walked. "You all had one job…one job only! I needed you to give up your weapons and cargo! But of course you had to resist…and what happens when you resist?"
He pulled out a pistol from his holster and shot a young hyacinth macaw female in the stomach instantly. As she collapsed to the floor and began choking on the blood that began to fill up her lungs.
"Ackkk…kkkkk…aaaaa…" She choked and gagged…before slipping into a death like state.
"You bastard!" A female screeched in rage, trying to shake free from the vines that tied her down. "When the assassin comes for you, you'll be sorry!"
He gazed at the female who dared to raise her voice at him. And he smiled at her evilly, before approaching her with his pistol pressed up against her head. "Well well…it appears we have a warrior princess! Hmmm…I remember you…how's your son?"
"PFTTTT!" She spat in his face in disgust, and this little act of bravery earned her a back wing from the evil macaw.
"You filthy whore! You think that I'm afraid of the assassin? I've already weakened him! I've broken him! I've…"
"Failed…my master!" She cheekily piped up. As she narrowed her eyes towards him, with blood pouring from her face.
"Failed? What are you talking about?"
"He and his wife made amends on Christmas Day! And you're little blue friend got what he deserved in a meat grinder!" She spoke triumphantly.
After hearing that his plan has clearly failed…he felt the blood boiling up inside of him. His wings began to tremble and his beak began to quiver…he was not able to control his anger as of now.
"GRRRRRRAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" BANG BAMG BANG BANG!
He turned around and shot four of his best men dead in an instant. Before he huffed and puffed to show his inner frustration.
"Grrrrrrrr! He took my cargo…he took my keys…he took EVERYTHING FROM ME! He is just like his fucking father!" He growled in n rage whilst shaking hand s firsts. "I have no choice in the matter…I must kill him…"
"Master? What are you saying?" A young red bellied macaw male asked as he cocked his head to the side in confusion.
"You heard me…PERFECTLY CLEAR!" The Destroyer once more pulled out his pistol and shot his own man in the talon. "I am going to kill RDJ! If it is the LAST thing that I do!"
Now Let's Head On Over To Reece And RDJ…
The grey macaw male was currently having a conversation with the blue and gold macaw about potentially finding the fifth and final key. But of course they were having a hard time deciding a plan.
"All I'm saying, is that we go in there. Guns blazing like hell, and then take the key? There is no way that he would be able to outrun two sub machine guns?" Reece remarked, placing some markers on the map in front of them.
"That is not how I operate Reece! I'm a more stealth and kill individual. So I say we find a weak spot and creep up on him. Then when I have killed their leader, they are most likely to leave!" RDJ responded as he circled a small square point on the map.
"You want to find the keys right? And I want to kill the head of the thugs! So we'd may as well do things my way!"
"I want to just do my job, and then go home with my family! You can go in there guns blazing if you want to. But he will make a run for it if you do so. You need to take him by surprise!"
"Fine, fine. We will do things your way for the time being!" He sighed in defeat and lifted his wing up to show that he has given up. "But, if things don't work and they go sideways, we do it my way."
"Fine. But for now though, just head to the church and see if you and Tomada can recover any items of use." RDJ ordered him before heading over to his wife.
"Ughhh…since when did I become the fucking errand boy? Come on Tomada! We are on the church duty!" Reece called out to the falcon, checking his ammunition supply.
"Alright, I'll just fetch my…hey? Has anyone seen my tonahawk?" Tomada asked as he frantically searched around for it.
"Ummmm…sorry! I was…using it…" Martin suddenly spoke up and lifted the tomahawk up.
"Why are you so sweaty Martin?" Jewel asked him in curiosity, cocking her head to the side.
"Ummm…let's just say…you may want to clean the rubber handle…" The green winged male blushed uncontrollably. Making Tomada even more confused by his behaviour.
"Martin…what did you do with my…"
"Okay! Okay! I shoved the handle up my butt, okay!" He answered embarrassingly, hiding his beak with his wing.
"You…did…WHAT?! WHY?!" Tomada bellowed in anger as he had to disinfect the handle with some spray that Gabriel gave him.
"I got bored."
"SO YOU SHOVE A HANDLE UP YOUR ASS?!"
"Hey! It's not my fault my husband isn't here with me!"
"BUT YOU…"
"Now now children!" RDJ chuckled as he joined in with the conversation. "I just need a moment to talk to all of you for a minute."
Everyone stopped snickering at the fact Martin was using Tomada's tomahawk to…pleasure his butt. They all focused their attention on their mentor, who was standing on a table with Lila by his side.
"Okay, so first off…I want you all to know that Lila and I have agreed to work on our marriage. As we realise that being together, makes a lot more sense than being apart!" RDJ smiled sweetly at his wife, kissing her lovingly on the beak.
"Awwwwwww!" Everyone sighed happily at the married couple, finally giving things another go.
"Alright! Secondly, we only have one more key to find! But…there is just one issue…"
"What's the issue mentor?" Keith pondered whilst Monifa laid her head on his shoulder.
"The Destroyer has the last key…" He spoke simply while he scratched the back of his head.
"WHAT?!" Everyone but Lila, Gabriel and Reece chorused all at once. Frantically asking him a load of questions all at once.
"It's okay everybody! I know what I need to do. But I am going to need every so for one of you to play a part!" RDJ spoke with determination, as he proudly proclaimed his words to his family.
"And I suppose, you have some kind of plan?" Reece asked in curiosity as he leaned up against the wall.
"Oh I do! But first, I need you and Tomada to go back to the church and try to salvage some of the equipment that may or may not have been damaged. As for the others, we will start laying out the groundwork for the plan. When all is sorted, and everything is in motion, we regroup at the coastline to discuss the final details."
"Okay but…what exactly do you plan on doing when you come face to face with him?" Jewel asked curiously, standing next to Andy and Jacqueline.
"I don't plan on killing him as of yet. But if I come face to face with him…I'll be sure to ram my blade into his neck!"
"That's fair enough! Anyway, we should…"
"RDJ!"
"Oh now what?!" There is nothing more frustrating about being interrupted in the middle of a speech. Especially since it's coming from the leader of their group.
"Master! We have a kid outside, and her mom was just kidnapped by The Destroyer!" Allie spoke in urgency, as she landed besides her master.
"What?! When did this happen?! And where is Aiden?!"
"Near the bottom of the pyramid! But we have to hurry! He's taken her to some kind of cemetery! And Aiden has gone there early to scope the place out…"
"Oh fuck! He doesn't know that I have the fourth key!" RDJ turned his head to face the others and spoke eagerly. "Alex! Jaime! Jameson! Gabriel! I need all four of you to head to the cemetery with me to help Aiden! Honey, I need you to keep an eye on the child with Jacqueline and Jewel."
"Why? Because we are women?" Jewel spoke up a bit angrily, putting a wing on her hip.
"What? No! Only because we can't afford any of you getting kidnapped!" RDJ demanded as he stuck out his wing.
"What are you…WOAH!" Martin immediately ducked out if the way when the staff came flying at the head of the assassins. Moving right into his wing as he gripped it tightly. "Woah…such a shame that doesn't have that effect on my ass…"
"MARTIN! There is a kid present!" Blu spoke up irritably and covered her ears.
"Sor-ry! Jeez!" The green winged male waved his wing at the others.
"Right…okay! Let's go everyone!" RDJ spoke with determination, as he leapt into the air followed by the black owl, snowy owl, blue jay and hybrid macaws. As they all prepared to head for the cemetery.
Reece and Tomada however took off in a separate direction, because they were given strict orders to go to the church and salvage what was left of their equipment. That may or may have not been destroyed in the fire.
Now Let's Head Back To The Destroyer…
"S-S-Stop…Please…I…I don't know anything!" A female cried out in fear, as the thugs were pushing her around and laughing at her. Whilst others were…touching her in places that she didn't want to be touched.
The Destroyer continued to stand there gazing at the female getting tortured, but he wasn't telling his men to stop.
"Hehehe…you like it when I do this?" One of them spoke as he pushed two of his wingtips in her cloaca. Making her really angry, so she punched him brutally in the face.
"You like it when I did that, asshole?!" She screeched in rage and attempted to make a fly for it. But two of the Remainders were too fast for her, and stopped her from escaping. "Let me go!"
The evil macaw in the dark helmet gradually named his way towards her. Sinisterly gazing at her whike he twirled his machete around in his wing.
"You know that I can't do that sweetie! You still have to pay your penalty for refusing to give me what I wanted. I mean…let's be fair here? I was lucky enough to spare your son's life?"
"YOU LEAVE LOUIE OUT OF THIS!" She finally revealed that she was the mother of the child that Aiden and Allie found. This caused The Destroyer laugh even more.
"I will…but as long as you do…everything…I…say…"
"That's funny? I was about to say the opposite!"
"Huh?!" The Destroyer turned his head around when hearing the familiar voice. And as soon as he did so…he looked like he was shaking a little. "R.D.J…Boy do I love these little meet and greets."
"Awww really? I'll be sure to send you a postcard next time! But for now…I just want the girl!" The assassin spoke up as he blew his wingtips to make a whistling noise.
The evil macaw spun his head to the left and right to find out who he was signalling.
Out of the corners of his eyes, Gabriel stood one side pointing a loaded P90 SMG at him. With her eyes filled with the rage and anger to blow his brains out.
Jaime appeared behind him with two machetes in his wings. Clearly he learned how to fight dual wield with two machetes.
Just to RDJ's right, Alex stood there strong twirling his nunchucks around. With Jameson stood to his left holding his baseball bat.
"Awww, you brought some friends? Am I suppose he impressed?" The Destroyer chuckled as he stood there with a threatening pose. "Lila will surely be happy that you are already trying to save another girl…"
"Fuck you! Your little plan to break us up didn't work! You lost that round buddy!"
But just as they were about to continue this back and forth…someone else decided to break the silence.
(How could you just take over someone else without Aiden knowing?! I can't believe you!)
Devil Darkness randomly said out of the blue, even though it had nothing to do with the fight. But Devine wasn't going to let him talk about this right now.
(DD, seriously not now! This is the wrong time!)
"Seriously you guys? Are we really doing this now?" Jameson asked in annoyance.
(Im just saying how it is Jameson! It's not my fault she is always doing things wrong!)
(ME?! HA! You're one to talk!)
"Ughhhhh…do I have to babysit both of you?!" RDJ grumbled as he quickly took his eyes off of The Destroyer for one second…but then Aiden quickly shouted out towards his leader.
"MENTOR! HE'S ESCAPING!" The scarlet macaw pointed out that the leader of the thugs was running away from the group. Which caused the head of the assassins to shake in rage.
"LEAVE HIM! HE'S MINE!" RDJ screeched before taking off and flying after his enemy closely. Leaving the others incredibly confused.
"Hold on a minute, I thought he was going to spare him?" Alex asked as he was helping his friends save the females who were either beaten or abused.
"Well, I guess it didn't last that long…kind of like…"
"Jameson, I swear to god, if you say like my sex life, I will ram my nunchucks up your ass!" Alex groaned and slapped him on the back of his head.
"Hey! When you two are done?" Jaime was annoyed by their constant arguments, and picked up a female with his right wing. "Excuse me. Do you have a son named Louie?"
"Yes! Have you got him?!" She panicked in concern, placing a wing on her chest.
"Yes! We gave him a place to stay while we save you! Now come on…we need to get you out of here…"
Now Let's Head Back To Reece And Tomada…
Many hours had passed since the attack on the church had destroyed the majority of what was on the inside.
Reece obviously had no idea about what happened inside of the church, but he was only doing this so he can get to the head of the thugs.
"Ughhhh…I just want to get this guy! Why do I have a feeling that this isn't going to go well." Reece grumbled as they BBC arrived on the scene.
The walls had been burned down to the ground, the windows are broken, and some of the walls were still on fire. It didn't exactly look in the best of shape. But then again, it was already halfway underwater as it was.
"Will you calm down? Listen, I've known RDJ since I first arrived in Rio. And I've known the guy for most of my life! He is doing all he can and he is doing everything in his power to help us!" Tomada spoke proudly, kicking a door down with his talon to get inside. "Here! Now, let's just salvage what we can then head back to base!"
"Fine! But when this is over, I'm so speaking to your boss!"
Finally We Head Back To RDJ…
The head of the assassins continued to chase his enemy through the streets. With the full intention of catching him and ramming his hidden blade into his neck.
"I know you have the…fourth key Destroyer! Let's just talk about this and give me what belongs to me!" RDJ shouted while he took a shortcut through a house, which luckily managed to grind him just behind him. He also lied about the fourth key to avoid him finding out about it.
"Ahhhh…so you haven't found the cemetery key? Sorry, but the key is hidden somewhere where you will never find it!" The Destroyer called back and threw some crates aside to block his pursuers path.
RDJ did slide under the gap and hurdled over another. He got closer and closer to his target…and he was ready to attack him with all of his strength.
"Just give up RDJ! If you couldn't stop me from your parents death, how will you stop me now?!" The Destroyer called back once more as he dove down into an old tunnel.
"You didn't kill my parents! Felix did! And he's dead!" RDJ replied angrily as he too followed him into the tunnel.
They swerved past so many obstacles in their path as the chase continued. But eventually, they came towards a dead end.
"No! For fuck sake!" The Destroyer cursed as he slammed the wall with his wing.
"Nowhere left to run…Destroyer…"
The evil macaw sighed heavily and slowly turned around to face the blue and gold macaw assassin. Heavily breathing in the process as he faced him with so much hatred.
RDJ breathed heavily in rage…feeling all of the anger build up inside of him. He pulled an arrow back on the string of his bow and arrow.
As his talons gripped the bottom of the dirt that laid beneath his feet. He felt the need to fire the arrow right between his eyes.
"Haaaa…Haaaa…Show me…your face! I want to know who I am killing!" RDJ began to breathe quite heavily at this point. He had so much anger inside of him, that he didn't know what to do.
The Destroyer shook his head from side to side as a no…and then he immediately went to lower his wing to his holster.
"Hey! Stay fucking still! Or I will end you!" RDJ growled and took one more step towards him.
"Okay…Okay. I'm removing my wing…" He whispered quietly, removing the wing from his holster. "Just…take it easy…"
The head of the assassins stepped forwards again and pulled the arrow back a little further. "Then show me…your…face…show me…your…face!"
Now…I'm sure all of you are excited for who The Destroyer is going to he revealed as. So instead of a whole paragraph of author notes, I will say…see you all soon…as we finally find out…who The bird behind the mask is…stay tuned!
