Hello everyone, I'm just Rai. So I was looking at a review for the story that got me thinking. Here it is:

Guest: My one gripe with Aizawa saying a quirkless person can become a hero is possible, like wasn't he the one who said Izuku with OFA couldn't be a quirk, like where are you getting at. Without your quirk you are literally useless as a character, you're already worthless as a teacher. He would go up to Izuku and crush his dreams way harder than All Might if Izuku ever asked him if he could have been a quirkless hero.

Well, Aizawa never said that specifically Izuku with One for All couldn't be a hero. He didn't know about One for All. During the quirk exercise test at the start of the year, he told Midoriya that he couldn't be a hero because, how he was currently, he would be a liability due to how he broke his limbs when he used OFA. Even during the U.S.J when Midoriya calls Aizawa out on being specifically skilled for stealth and not head-to-head fights, when the villains arrive, Aizawa says that no hero could succeed by having only one trick. Hell, during the U.S.J he practically beat most of the villains quirkless, using only his quirk to give himself the advantage of forcing the villains to fight using only fists.

While I somewhat agree that, in the MHA world, if you're quirkless then you're at a high disadvantage, that doesn't make you useless. If you look at Melissa Shield, introduced in the MHA: Two Heroes movie, she was quirkless and yet she was not only one of the protagonists of the movie, but she was also incredibly important to the plot of the movie and also a highly skilled inventor, creating the Full Gauntlet which allowed Izuku to go up to 100% without most of the drawbacks. So, being quirkless doesn't exactly make you worthless or useless in this world, given you're lucky enough to be important to the plot and also have some sort of skill.

I do agree that Aizawa would have probably crushed Izuku's dreams harder than All Might did, but their reasons would be different. Its implied that All Might is considering his first fight with All For One when he shows Izuku his injury and tells him he can't be a hero, pretty much telling him that there are villains who would crush him due to his own experiences with All For One. Aizawa would probably try to question Midoriya's resolve, to see if he still has the determination and ingenuity to be a hero even after having his dreams crush, which he does during the quirk apprehension test, and then he'd train him to fight quirkless, just like he was doing, during Season 5, with Hitoshi Shinsou, who had to rely on fighting quirkless, just like Aizawa.

Hope that answered your questions, Enjoy!

As everyone began to move around the room and relax after the intense, albeit incredibly awesome, clips, Rai moved over to the fridge. Pulling it open, he pulled out a can of coke and began to enjoy the carbonated beverage. Rai thought about what he was doing here with Class 1-A and its teachers, and how he was showing them the future which would eventually lead to the exposure of One for All and All for one.

'Heh. They'll be in for a surprise when the 1A-1B Join training session' he thinks with a grin on his face. Rai was knocked out of his thoughts when Izuku, Nezu, Toshinori, and Aizawa all tried to walk up to him at the same time. "Hello, Young Rai," Toshinori says with a small smile. "You said earlier that you would answer any questions we had, correct?" Rai looked at him for a moment, sipping on his sweet cola, before replying, "Yea, I did say that. Also, you have no idea what my age is. For all you know I could be older than everyone in this room combined."

Toshinori coughed up some blood, most likely due to how unexpected that last part was, "E-erm. Sorry. If I may ask, how old are you?" he tried to ask. "Well..." Rai said, putting a hand up to his chin in thought. "I don't remember the specifics. I don't actually know when the last time I had a birthday party was, and since time everywhere is relative then... I'd say it's best to bet that I haven't had a birthday party in, eh, at least a hundred thousand years..."

When he looked back up to the four who approached him, Rai only found stunned faces, even on Nezu. "W-wait, but you look just as old as our class! How is that possible?", Midoriya questioned. "Well, let's just say, one of my abilities makes my lifespan increase as I use my powers more. The downside to that is that it doesn't actually increase my age, only my lifespan. So, as I continue to use my powers, and my lifespan gets larger, whilst my true age shifts into a fraction of it, I'll eventually start to age backward into a child, at which point I'll be unable to think about using my powers and thus be allowed to age properly, given I don't get murdered or die of other natural causes." Rai states.

Nezu hummed in thought as the rest began to understand the implications of such an ability. "You said that, once you reach this 'child' form, you'd be allowed to age forwards, given that you aren't killed or die of other natural causes, besides aging. Does that mean you aren't incapable of dying?" Nezu inquired.

"Of course, I can still die. I am human after all. I simply age slowly, and eventually backward as I use my powers." Rai looked over to the four of them with a grin on his face, "Now, I have a question. Or more so a test of logic. What do you guys think my powers are? Starting with Aizawa."

After a pause, "Well," Shouta started, "You've been showing us future events, although I'm still skeptical as to whether this 'future' is actually true or not. And also, apparently, your powers increase your lifespan as well as age you backward. I assume that they are somewhat time-related."

"You're on the right track." Rai encourages, "Do you have anything to add Toshinori?" Toshinori looked at Rai for a moment before thinking hard, "Well... considering you got that footage from the future... Are you able to go there?" Rai's smile widened as they started figuring it out, "Yup. I'll give you a hint, I can travel to any point in time, given I know the location and date. However, my powers don't stop there." He looks over to Midoriya, "Your turn."

"Well, since you can travel to and from different points in time, as long as you know the location and date, that implies you can also travel to any location as long as you know where it is and-" As he kept on talking, Midoriya started one of his signature 'Mutter Storms'.

"This, Nezu," Rai said to the Chimera whilst pointing at Midoriya, "is an analytical mind capable of rivaling your own, and Sir Nighteye's given enough training on how to effectively use it." The principal hummed in thought as Rai snapped Midoriya out of his muttering.

Midoriya tried to apologize for it but, "Hey, hey. It's okay Izuku. One day, that intelligence will save a lot of people." Rai praised. Izuku rambled in embarrassment due to both the praise and the casual use of his given name.

"You are right that I can travel to any location, no matter the distance, however that power is actually on a greater scale than you realize." Rai said, facing Nezu, "Can you figure out what that scale is, Principal?" Nezu stared at him with those beady eyes, thinking to himself out loud, "Hmm... if it's already established that you can travel to any location on earth, no matter the distance, with relative ease, does that mean you're capable of interplanetary travel?"

Rai chuckled to himself, getting ready for the reveal, "Although that is within my skill set, that isn't all. You guys are thinking too small! To list them off: 1. I have the power to travel through both time and space, to any date or location I choose. 2. I can bring any amount of objects or people along with me, although it is more strenuous for larger amounts. 3. My lifespan is virtually infinite, given the constant use of my abilities, however, there is a certain threshold that, once reached, will make me slowly age into an infant until I can no longer hold conscious thought. and 4. Not only can I not only travel to any location, but I can also travel to any location in any universe, transforming 'Multiverse Theory' into 'Multiverse Law'. And, that's not all. I can also change any events in time that I choose to, without being affected by any of the paradoxical shit." Rai was, at this point, boasting about his abilities.

The four of them stared in shock at the verbal list of Rai's abilities before, "Alright, I'm gonna take a nap. Call me when the break is over." Aizawa said and walked away whilst thinking, 'I don't get paid enough for this shit.'

Large amounts of laughter could be heard from Rai's form, knowing exactly what Aizawa was thinking. After managing to contain himself, Rai looked to the remaining three, "Alright. Now that Aizawa-Sensei is gone, I assume you guys have questions about One for All? You couldn't have only come to ask about my abilities after that not-so-subtle hint at the reveal of Izuku's quirk."

Toshinori took the liberty to ask the question that was on the three of their minds, "Yes, you said that One for All would be revealed in these showings. Can you tell us what the future of One for All entails?" Their kidnapper seemed to think for a moment before shaking his head, "I would tell you, as it is incredibly important, however that would spoil the dramatic effect. Don't worry All Might, by the end of this, you'll know exactly how One for All has affected society as a whole." The three of them weren't particularly accepting of that response, however, they knew there was little they could do to change his mind, considering they were going to find out anyway.

"Now," Rai said as he walked out of the Kitchen and spoke to everyone, "I believe it's time to begin with the next few clips!"

As they all got comfortable in their seats, Rai held up his signature T.V. remote before informing the audience of the context, "Alright, so these next few clips are going to be of the Sports Festival, specifically Izuku's fights."

Bakugou swiftly got up into his seat and yelled, "AND WHY THE HELL ARE WE WATCHING THE NERD'S FIGHTS?! IT'S OBVIOUS HE'S GONNA LOSE!"

Rai looked over at him with an incredibly menacing expression, "Well, if you must know, Katsuki. I'm not showing the entire Sports Festival because, if I did, not only would you be aware of what the preliminary rounds would entail, but you'd also know how people would fight against you, giving you an unfair advantage. The only reason I'm considering showing these clips specifically is that, not only are they extremely important to Izuku's quirk, but he's also inattentive enough to almost lose the first match and pretty much forfeits in his second, not without good reason, of course, Midoriya. Satisfied?" He said that last part with enough malice to make Toshinori compare him to All for One.

"Good," Rai said happily before pressing play.

[The scene started with Present Mic hyping up the crowd in the background as Izuku Midoriya stood in a hall, looking at his hand before being interrupted. "Hey!" Toshinori calls out. "Sorry, I haven't said hi. You've been great! You've managed to get a grip on One for All!"

Izuku looks at Toshinori with a sad expression, "Not really... I'm still worried about using it. I imagined the egg in the microwave, or how it felt to hit that villain at the U.S.J., but I'm still not in control. It feels like I might be ripped apart if I'm not completely focused... My body is weak. I'm just not able to handle your power at 100%."]

Some of the class looked confused at their conversation. Ochako looked over to Izuku, "Why are you saying it's All Might's power when it's your quirk?"

Kirishima nods and says, "Yea, also, didn't you tell us your quirk was 'Superpower'? All Might called it 'One for All' on the screen..."

Izuku started to get nervous before Rai shifted the attention, "Let's not worry about that right now. The purpose of these next clips is to take some of the edge off from the last two. So, so just have fun watching the future Sports Festival!" he said with a smile, although misleading. He didn't want them to figure it out so soon. It'd defeat some of the drama, which he liked.

["Yea..." Toshinori started, "If we're talking about how much of One for All you can handle, I'd say you'd be at 5% right now."

Izuku tensed up in shock, "O-only 5%?! Wow, okay... I guess I really have been getting by with just luck and my friends helping me."]

"That's not true at all Midobabe!" Mina exclaimed. "From what we've seen, you've been doing an amazing job on your own!"

Izuku was going to deny the praise when Toshinori stepped in, "She's right, Young Midoriya. Sure, some of the things you've pulled off had a bit of luck in them, but you managed to do it because of your skills and your willpower." he said, making Izuku blush in embarrassment.

[Toshinori hit Izuku on the head before pulling him out of his self-deprecating thoughts, "All I want is for you to try your best, dammit. There's no such thing as luck! You aren't going to be a hero if you keep putting yourself down! If you're ever worried-" Toshinori started before turning into All Might, "Remember to keep on smiling! Show the world that you are here!" Izuku nodded at All Might's motivating words before stepping out of the hall and into the view of the crowd, earning him a lot of cheering.]

Toshinori received a hit to the shin by Recovery Girl, "You had no reason to hit him! What were you thinking!"

"A-Ow! I was just motivating him- OW! I haven't even said any of that stuff yet!" Toshinori exclaimed in pain and mock-betrayal as Izuku slightly giggled.

["Alright audience!" Present Mic exclaimed, "Let's start with the first of the preliminary rounds! Welcome our first fighters: Hitoshi Shinso, from the General Studies course, and, from the Heroic Course's Class 1-A, Izuku MidoriyaaaaAAAA!" The blond said, yelling that last part out. "The rules are simple! Have your opponent willingly surrender or hit him out of bounds!"

As the match started, Shinso started talking to Izuku, "So you can just give up, huh? In a way, this is a test to see how strong your spirit is. If you know what you want your future to be, you can't be held back by others' opinions." That was when Shinso started to taunt Izuku, "That monkey was going on about his 'pride' earlier, but I just think he's an idiot for throwing away his spot in the tournament."

Izuku began to get angry at Shinso for talking to his friend like that, making his first mistake, "Don't you talk about him that way-" And that was when Shinso activated his quirk, making him stop.]

"Woah..." Denki said in awe.

Tsuyu stared at the screen confused, "What happened, kero?"

["That's it. I won." As Izuku got caught in Shinso's brainwashing quirk, Ojiro exclaimed in frustration at how he warned Izuku and Toshinori peeked at his successor through the hallway he was in before.

"So here we are," Shinso started talking to himself as Izuku stared off into space, "You're lucky to be so blessed. Now turn around and walk out of bounds, like a good little 'hero'," he ordered. Izuku did just that. He turned around and started walking out of bounds.]

"No, deku!" Ochako yelled.

"What's happening?!", "What did Shinso do?" his classmate started asking.

Rai looked over at them, "Hitoshi Shinso's quirk is 'Brainwashing'. It allows him to give orders to anyone who responds to him verbally. And they have to follow it. The only way to escape his quirk, once caught, is to receive some type of pain. At least a small slap somewhere."

Iida looked on in worry, "Unfortunately for Midoriya, it's just him and Shinso there."

"How's he going to escape it then?!" Ochako worried as Rai grinned.

['My body... It's moving on its own!' Izuku thought. 'I feel like... my brain is full of fog. I can't concentrate!' 'No!' Izuku pleaded in his mind, 'not like this! I have... to stop!' Izuku started to near the edge of the bounds, 'So many people are counting on me... everyone is watching. Everyone!'

With that last thought, something snapped. As Izuku looked onward into the dark hallway he came out of, he saw 8 bright lights. They got bigger until they transformed into silhouettes with bright yellow eyes.]

"Woah, who are those people?" Kirishima asked.

Katsuki narrowed his eyes, trying to figure out what was going on with the damn nerd.

[The silhouettes got clearer before a wave of energy passed over him. It was amazing, like seeing a hundred rainbows circle you at the same time, invigorating your body with strength.

'What... is.. that?' Izuku thought as his index and middle finger glowed with red veins. 'Wait!' Izuku thought as Shinso started talking again, "Even with a quirk like this, I have my own dreams of becoming a great hero. So... lose for me, would you?"

And then it happened. His fingers moved, ever so slightly, using 100% of One for All, creating a giant shockwave of air throughout the stadium.]

"Woah!" The class stared in awe as Katsuki's eyes widened in realization.

Aizawa narrowed his own eyes, trying to figure out what happened.

[Wind rushed past Shinso, Midnight, and Toshinori as Izuku gasped for breath right on the edge of the ring. The camera put on a shot of his fingers, purple and broken, before panning up to his face, showing him turning around and looking at Shinso with a menacing stare.]

"Woah, Midobro, talk about badass!" Kirishima praised.

"W-well, it wasn't exactly me who did that-" Izuku tried to explain before Sero interrupted him, "Maybe not, but it was your quirk and it still looked badass!"

[Shinso looked in horror at Izuku's now freed form, "N-no... Impossible! You aren't supposed to be able to fight back!"

Izuku covered his mouth to refrain from responding to Shinso. 'I'm the one who used One for All,' he thought, 'but I'm not the one who moved my fingers just now! Those.. people I didn't know. They came into my mind and for a second, it was clear... could it be?' Izuku thought as a memory of All Might played in his head: 'One for All,' All Might said, 'a sacred torch that has been passed on from generation to generation!'

Izuku's eyes widened, 'Those people... could they be the previous holders?! Did they save me?']

"OKAY, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON, DEKU?!" Bakugou shouted, having enough of whatever the hell was going on.

"Bakugou-" Aizawa tried to get him to calm down, but Katsuki was having none of it.

"First you get a quirk out of nowhere on the day of the entrance exam, then you lie about its name calling it both 'Superpower' and One for All, and then you have some sort of fucking Shonen-protagonist flashback of ALL MIGHT telling you that your quirk could be transferred! What the fuck is going on, and what the hell does it have to do with All Might?!" Bakugou accused.

The entire class and Aizawa were now curious and connecting the dots that Katsuki had as Izuku and Toshinori began to sweat bullets. Recovery girl frowned a bit, although surprisingly, or unsurprisingly, Principal Nezu continued to smile. Rai let the tension sit for a minute as he enjoyed Izuku and All Might's suffering before deciding that he should explain now that the truth was revealed, "Well, now that the cats are all out of the bag, how bout we begin by explaining your quirk, All Might?"

Toshinori looked at the ground as he scrunched his face. He had no choice but to explain One for All, but would it be for the best? He looked at Principal Nezu for a moment, receiving a nod before sighing and starting to explain, "My quirk is a very hotly debated topic around the world, but the truth is that it is not my quirk. I was born quirkless."

This shocked the class, especially Katsuki who, for his entire life, believed that no one was able to become a hero without a quirk. To be told that not only was it possible, but All Might, the Number One HERO, had done it, was certainly world-shattering.

"My quirk, passed onto me by my mentor, Nana Shimura, was called One for All. A quirk from as far back as the first generation of quirk users that stockpiles power over time, absorbing the strengths of each user as they continue to develop One for All." Toshinori explained.

Todoroki looked at him in confusion, "Wait. You called your quirk 'One for All', as well. Is Midoriya your secret love child or something?' he asked.

The tension was dispelled as everyone looked at Todoroki in confusion, some even beginning to snicker, if not downright burst into laughter in Denki's case. "N-no Todoroki! I'm not All Might's kid!" Izuku tried to defend himself from the completely ridiculous conspiracy theory.

"Of course he isn't All Might's kid, Icyhot," Katsuki said surprisingly calmly, having realized another thing, which broke him out of his trance from finding out that All Might was originally quirkless. "All Might said that his quirk was passed onto him. He and Deku have the same quirk because All Might gave the nerd his quirk."

The room went silent as Izuku and Toshinori began to find interest in the floor.

"I guess I was right, kero." Tsuyu said in shock, "Your quirk is like All Might's..."

Rai snickered at the comment, 'Let's add some more fuel to the fire.' he thought before throwing out a fact, "You know, since One for All stockpiles power as it continues to exist, that means that when Izuku reaches his full power, he'll be stronger than All Might in his prime..."

Rai laughed hysterically inside as he saw the eyes of everyone in the room, sans Nezu and Toshinori, widen in response and their mouths gape slightly. Aizawa manages to contain his stupor before thinking, 'ugh... Problem Child.'

['Later,' Izuku thought, 'I don't have time to figure things out right now! I have to focus on winning!'

"Come on! Say something!" Shinso yelled as he saw Izuku running toward him. "I didn't know you had that kind of power in your fingers!" He attempted to bait Izuku further, "I'm kind of jealous of you!"

Izuku could only reflect on the events during his life, 'I know what that jealousy feels like...'

Shinso prepared for Izuku's attack before shouting, "Someone as blessed as you could never understand that!" Izuku's eyes narrow, 'I understand. Even though he is right. I have been blessed by others! That's why I am here!'

Shinso attempted to punch Izuku to stop him from pushing him any further out of the ring, hitting his broken fingers before throwing him towards the edge and trying to force him out. "Get out of this ring, you lucky brat!" Shinso yelled before Izuku screamed in his own mind, 'No! I refuse to lose after I've come all this way!'

He grabbed onto Shinso's arms and flipped him over his shoulder, and out of bounds. The crowd cheered as Midnight called Izuku the winner.]

The screen once again showed a big 'PAUSE' as the clip finished. Rai looked out to his audience as they sat in silence. 'Although this is what I wanted, it isn't exactly how I imagined them during these two clips. Even though they have to do with One for All, these clips were meant to help them relax...' He sighed before making the announcement, "Alright. We're going to be taking 5. I think a little mini-break is needed to process everything."

During the break, after everyone separated into their little comfort groups, Izuku sat with the teachers. He felt as though he couldn't sit with his friends now that they knew he was quirkless.

'Guess, I'll go back to being worthless Deku...' he thought somberly. He was snapped out of his thoughts when Aizawa put a hand on his shoulder. "Midoriya," U.A.'s resident 'hobo' started, "I wanted to apologize to you. During the Quirk Apprehension Test, I looked at you and first thought that you were a kid who didn't bother to train their quirk. Had I known that you got your quirk on the day of the entrance exam, I would have thought otherwise. So, I'm sorry."

Izuku looked at his teacher in true shock. Up until this point, the only person to truly apologize to him for something that they did was Iida. His mother didn't count since he could never blame his quirklessness on her. All of his teachers at Aldera would never have even thought about what they did to him as 'wrong'. Midoriya looked back at his teacher in a new light, one free from the picture that the teachers at Aldera had painted.

"However, now that I know how inexperienced you are with All Might's quirk, you'll have to train twice as hard to catch up to everyone else. They've all had a decade and a half to figure out their quirks. Don't give up, Problem Child." Aizawa encouraged with the ghost of a smile on his face. Aizawa walked back to where he was sitting, getting into his sleeping bag that- wait, when did he get that?

As Izuku was questioning where Aizawa had pulled out that sleeping bag from, Bakugou got up from his spot next to Kirishima and made his way toward him. He had been uncharacteristically silent since he found out about One for All and All Might's supposed quirklessness.

As he walked up to Izuku, he looked him dead in the eyes with a conflicted expression on his face. "Nerd," he started, "The day you got your quirk. It was the day that damn sludge villain attacked me, right?" Izuku gulped, frantically trying to figure out what to say to his longtime bully, "Y-yea, Kacchan... how'd you know?"

Katsuki scoffed, "It's fucking obvious now that I think about it. The day I told you to...," he paused, looking away from Izuku in shame at what he told Midoriya to do that day, "The day I burnt your stupid book. You rushed in to save me, spouting crap like 'I couldn't just watch you die', or some sappy bullshit like that... And then All Might came, saying something about telling you how to be a hero and not living up to his own ideals. You met All Might that day, that was the day he decided to train you."

Midoriya looked at his 'friend' in confusion, "You knew I was training?"

Katsuki rolled his eyes, "After hearing your stupid mumble sessions for years, I've learned how to pick info from how fast you talk. Nearly every day in class, you'd start mumbling about increasing your training. I'm not stupid. Obviously, All Might wouldn't just give you his power right off the bat. We literally watched you break most of the bones in your arm and legs in that last video. If you didn't have any training, then I'm willing to bet that you probably would have just died when you got One for All." Bakugou finished that last part with a more somber tone than anyone would have expected, leaving Izuku speechless.

"... I just want to say that, even with All Might's quirk, especially now that you have All Might's quirk, you better work hard. Because, if you don't? I'll crush you. And after all the work you put in to get into U.A., that'd just be pathetic and you'd be embarrassing this school. So you better get stronger or you're dead, Izuku." Katsuki encouraged, in his own 'Bakugou'-kinda way before walking off, Izuku's world was flipped upside down, 'H-He... He called me Izuku...' Midoriya thought as his eyes widened.

Rai smiled slightly from the corner, having heard the conversation, 'That was unexpected. I didn't really think Katsuki would change as quickly as he did but... well I guess having a reality check the size of a quirkless person becoming the Number One Hero would do the trick.' "Alright, ladies and gentlemen!" Rai said to the entire room, "It's time for the next clip."

As everyone got comfortable again, the screen switched from the large 'PAUSE' sign to a new scene.

["It's the second round! These two heroes in training have gotten far in the Sports Festival!" Present Mic announced, "ITS IZUKU MIDORIYA! VERSUS! TODOROKI! GO!"

With the match starting, Izuku readied his fingers to flick as Todoroki sent a gigantic wave of ice at him. "SMASH!" Izuku yells, flickers his fingers at 100%, breaking them and the giant ice attack. The wind pressure from the flick was so strong that the audience even felt it and Todoroki had to stop himself from falling out of the ring.

'Just as I thought,' Todoroki started thinking, 'He's prepared to injure himself just to counter me.' Todoroki sent another wave of ice and, just like before, Izuku flicked another one of his fingers, destroying the wave and his finger.]

"Wow, Midobro, that's a little extreme, dontcha think? Kirishima questioned while wincing at Izuku's broken fingers.

Izuku thought about it for a moment before responding, "I probably didn't have any other choice if I didn't want to be eliminated."

"Well, you better never do that!" Recovery scolded him, "I swear you'll end up broken before you even finish your first semester if you don't take care of yourself!"

['I don't know much about how Todoroki fights... His attacks are so fast that it's hard to gather information on him. So I need to focus on finding an opening!' Izuku thinks as he starts to study Todoroki and his surroundings. 'The ice behind him is probably how he'll try and stay within the ring, which means I was right to break my fingers. If I used my whole arm and the ice held up, I'd be doomed.'

He held his hands up to his view, 'I've only got 6 more chances!' Todoroki prepared to send another wave, "Let's continue." Shoto said as Izuku used another finger to destroy the oncoming ice wave.

"You want an endurance match, but I'll end this quickly!" Todoroki said, sending another ice wave at Midoriya.

"SMASH!" Izuku yelled, breaking his pinky finger, and making it bleed. 'That's all the fingers on my right hand!' Izuku thinks as Todoroki uses his ice to get closer to him.

"NO!" Izuku yells, flicking one of his bandaged fingers. Todoroki dodges the flick and he uses his ice to catch Izuku in mid-air as he's backing away. '

'Not good!' Izuku thinks as he prepares to fire another flick before metaphorically thinking 'Screw it!' and using his entire arm at 100%, breaking all of the ice in the way and sending a massive amount of wind pressure throughout the stadium.

"AHH!" Izuku yells in pain as One for All breaks his left arm. As Izuku looked at where Todoroki managed to stop himself from being knocked out, Shoto said, "That was much more powerful than any of your other attacks. That means that you're trying to keep me away," he says while moving some of the broken ice off of him as the camera pans to Izuku's purple-broken arm.]

Everyone in the room winced at the sight. Izuku's arm looked completely unnatural, purples and blues bruising his entire left arm up to his biceps. This was the first time they'd truly seen a close-up shot of Izuku when his limbs can't handle One for All.

['It's not just that his quirk is powerful,' Izuku thinks, 'His judgment, reasoning, mobility... all of his abilities are incredible.'

"Are you really that worn out from defending against my attacks," Shoto says as Izuku notices his slight shivering. 'He's shaking. Is he reaching some kind of limit? I've got to keep going!', Izuku realizes.

"If there's one thing I have to thank you for, it's for drawing out the fight. Look at him," Todoroki looks towards Endeavor's place in the stands, "He's furious that I'm not using his power."

Izuku begins to get angry as he remembers Todoroki admitting to not wanting to use his fire powers due to its connection to his father.

"With your hand like that, you can't fight anymore. Let's end this, shall we?" Todoroki declares as he sends another wave of his towards Izuku, intending to knock him out. What he wasn't expecting was for Midoriya to keep going, "I am not done yet!" he announces as he uses one of his already broken fingers to flick Todoroki back to the edge of the ring.

'Dammit, with his broken finger?' Todoroki thinks as he asks Izuku a question, "Why are you going this far?!"

Izuku stares at him in frustration, "You're trembling, Todoroki. It's easy to forget that quirks are physical abilities and that means there is a limit to how cold you can get! I understand. Usually, you'd make up for the drop in temperature by using your fire quirk to heat yourself up, but you refuse to do that." Izuku says as he lifts his right hand.]

"He is right," Aizawa admits to his class as they stare at him in question. "Quirks are physical abilities with even more physical limitations. That is why you must train to push back those limits. To go truly Plus Ultra."

The class starts to better understand that they'll have to train a whole lot harder if they want to become pro heroes.

["Everyone here is giving it their all. To try and win and to make our dreams a reality. Do you think you can win with only your strength?! Look at me, Todoroki! YOU HAVEN'T MANAGED TO PUT A SINGLE SCRATCH ON ME YET! SO COME AT ME WITH ALL YOU HAVE!" Izuku yelled in righteous fury.

"Midoriya, what are you trying to do here? You want my fire? Did my monster of a father put you up to this?! NOW I'M MAD" Todoroki yelled as he rushed Midoriya.

'His movements are slower,' Izuku notices as throws himself towards Todoroki's left side when Shoto jumps forward. "Imagine... the egg in the microwave!" Izuku reminds himself as he uses One for All to punch Todoroki. Izuku and Todoroki begin to engage several times, getting closer to each other, and trying to hit each other, but they keep pushing each other back to where they started.

As Todoroki sends another wave of Ice at him, Midoriya realizes that his fingers are too broken to be used again, so he puts his thumbs up to his mouth and flicks using the sides of his lips. 'SMASH!' He thinks to himself.]

"What the hell? Why are you going so far?!" Todoroki says in frustration, having had enough of this.

["Why are you putting yourself through this?!" Todoroki questions him.

"I want to live up to people's expectations," Izuku says as he begins to run at Todoroki, "I want people to smile while doing something good for them! Whatever it takes to be a hero!"

Midoriya headbutts Todoroki as he's distracted by a memory of his mother, "That's why I'll give it my all, just like you should be doing! There is no way I can know what you've gone through, or why you're even here. Your life has been so different from mine, but right now you better stop screwing around! If you want to reject your father? Fine! But you don't have the RIGHT to be Number One if you aren't going to use your full power!" Izuku declares.

"Shut up..." Todoroki says as he begins to freeze himself more.

"That's why I'm going to win this! I'll surpass you!" Izuku yells as he punches Shoto in the stomach with his right arm.

"I will reject him," Todroki stated, matter-of-factly, "I refuse to use my left side-" but before he could finish, Izuku made sure to hammer his point in, "IT'S YOURS! YOUR QUIRK, NOT HIS!" he yelled, causing Todoroki to widen his eyes in realization.

After a couple moments of self-reflection, 'I didn't realize... how much I'd forgotten.' He began to think as he breathed heavily and fire erupted from his left side in a tornado of flames.

"You're helping your opponent," Todoroki realizes and points out as he cools himself down with his right side while simultaneously using his left side to heat himself up. "You fool. Even though you want to win? Now which one of us is screwing around?" Shoto says. "I want it too! I'll be a hero!" he finishes as both he and Izuku start smiling. Endeavor begins to spout some bullshit but it can't be heard from this distance as the thundering music starts to build the intensity of the fight.]

"Oh, man! This is it, I can feel it!" Denki says as he hypes up for the big finish.

Sero agrees with him, "Hell yea man, this is gonna be awesome!"

["Amazing!" Izuku says in awe.

"Why are you smiling?" Todoroki questions, causing Izuku to snap out of his stupor, "With those injuries, in this hopeless situation? you must be crazy. DON'T BLAME ME FOR WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!" Shoto declares as he uses his right and left sides to erupt ice and fire respectively.

Izuku readies himself to use One for All in his legs to finish this. Cementoss begins to use his quirk to try and mitigate the damage, as does Midnight, but neither of the two hero students care. They're both too wrapped up in their fight to care about the consequences of their actions.

As Ice bursts forth from Shoto's right side, engulfing the entire arena, Izuku jumps using One for All, breaking his legs in the process of dodging the attack. 'Gotta get close! Gotta give it everything!' Izuku thinks before shouting, "COME AT ME WITH YOUR FULL POWER, TODOROKI!"

Ice and fire start to rapidly appear and disappear around Todoroki, leaving behind smoke residue as the temperature changes dangerously fast. Todoroki pulls his left arm forward, intending to use his finishing move. "I see now, Midoriya. Thank you," He says as Midoriya uses his non-broken arm at 100% and Todoroki sends out his final move, 'Flashfreeze Heatwave'. As Cementoss uses his quirk to build walls in the middle of the twos attacks, they clash, completely destroying the walls and sending chunks of concrete, ice, and wind flying all throughout the arena.]

The entire class is whooping and hollering, completely amazed by the big finale.

"That was incredible!" Mina yells from her seat, getting agreements from Kirishima and Sero, who were sitting next to her.

"Great job, Deku!" Uraraka praises, causing Izuku to blush in embarrassment.

"W-well, Todoroki was just as amazing," The embarrassed green bean tries to stutter out.

Speaking of Todoroki, he's currently shocked, eyes wide. 'I-... I broke my vow...' he thinks to himself before remembering future-Izuku's words and swallowing. 'It's my quirk. MY quirk...' He thinks and looks toward Izuku as he comes to the same realization that his future self did.

"Well. I believe that will be a very interesting Sports Festival, don't you agree, Principal?" Rai said as he looked toward Nezu, who was sitting in Aizawa's scarf.

Nezu begins to nod as he smiles, "Oh, I wholeheartedly agree."

"Welp," Rai starts as he gets up from his spot next to Izuku, "As established, we'll be having another 15-minute break to prepare you for the next clips, which will be more intense than the Sports-Festival ones. I hope you all enjoyed it! I'll be right back" He says as he walks through the door to the break room that was previously locked.
